Thinking about Hesh.

TW: mentions of death. Depression. Just overall sadness. Major COD ghost spoilers. :3

Gang :(( I finished cod ghosts. Oh my DAYS.

He lost EVERYTHING. Literally. Because first. It was him. His parents and hesh. A happy family.

then his mother dies (we don’t know when I think? But she’s lived long enough that they know a lot about her)

Then his home is blown to BITS, FUCKING BITS. He’s lost everything. But his dad and brother. And then (at least I HC it) he had no other choice to join the army against the confederation.

Then. His dad (SPOILER) dies. FUCKING DIES. Side note. The way rorke made Logan hold the gun as he shot his dad, was FUCKED.

(Elieas death is a whole other topic I could rant about.) so now, he’s lost his home and parents.

But he’s got Riley. He’s got Logan.. and then. Riley gets shot. She makes it. Ofc

another side note. That mission traumatised me.

but it was a close call. I can see Hesh starting to cling to them closer. Leaving Riley with merrick to be safe. And staying close to Logan on thier last few missions together.

THEN. When they get to kill roreke. Avenge their dad. Horay! A sad. But hopeful ending. NOPE. His brother. His only living (human) family taken away. AND WE DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO LOAGN.

I’m thinking roreke will do to Logan what the federation did to him. Break him. And build him into a ‘ghost hunter’ that will eventually either kill or be killed by hesh’s hands. :((

And Hesh just had to watch it all. Helpless as time and time again. He didn’t have the strength to save either of them. I KNOW. That dog is what’s keeping him going. Taking her on walks. Riley used to not be allowed on the bed. But god. Shes all he has now. :((
