So, I "wake up" in this dark abyss of nothingness. I couldn't even see my hands. In the distance I see red and blue and it slowly gets closer. The closer it gets, the lighter the dark gets, until finally Darkiplier is standing in front of me. He is looking fine as can be,as well as condescending.

"I'm so glad you could join me here today." Well,it's not like I had a choice you jackass.

"So, why am I here?" I'm so confused right now and have no clue how I got here.

"You're going to help me get payback on Mark. We made a deal and he has broken it. It's time to show him what happens when you break a deal with the devil." The overlays of him are out of sync and one is screaming at odd times.

"Uh how bout no. I happen to like Mark and I really don't think I'm going to do any sort of helping." I'm just being a smartass. Probably not the smartest thing to do when I'm on his turf.

"I didn't say you had to be willing. He won't be able to stand aside and do nothing as I break you. In fact... I'm going to have a little help from an... acquaintance." Anti walks by me,glitching all over the place, to stand by Dark. He is laughing and playing with his knife.

"Huh....well if you guys are planning on torturing me, I just want you to know I like it rough. So, I'm sure we'll both be having a great time." The poor things get so confused cause I'm not scared of their threats and Anti just shrugs his shoulders at Dark, like I don't know what to do about that.

I'm over here laughing hysterically at their expressions. Shadows wrap themselves around my arms and legs to hold me in place while one wraps around my neck. To be honest, they aren't super tight. It's like wrapping a ribbon lightly around you. I just laugh harder and stutter out, "That's all you got?"

Anti looks super angry and stabs me in the side...Boom I wake up.

Why my brain does this, I don’t know

I was just listening to Amazon music and the Glee cast version of ‘Toxic’ came on. My brain immediately came up with the following mental picture. (FYI: If you’ve read my Lost Paladins series, this will make a hell of a lot more sense).

Matt Holt has a very sarcastic streak of humor, and he uses it to cope with all the crazy shit that happened after Kerberos. At some point, the song ‘Toxic’ comes on over Pidge’s music, and he immediately looks over at Shiro, who rolls his eyes and says, “Oh, God...really, Matt?” Pidge looks over, interested, and Shiro just mutters and just goes back to whatever he’s doing while Matt explains that ‘that song could totally be Haggar’s theme song!’

Shiro disagrees - vehemently - but Matt latches onto the idea and occasionally trolls different people around the Castle by humming this song at random, and then one time Shiro starts absently-mindedly humming the theme, and he catches himself doing it, swears and glares at Matt, like, “Damn it, Matt.”

I don’t do this on purpose, guys. This weirdness just happens in my brain. :-)
