Today, little Jimmy (who is my highest level 6th grader on mostly everything but is usually very talkative during class) paid VERY close attention to my reading lesson and didn't say a word except to ask questions and give answers. I thought that in itself was impressive, but to top that off, he told me he learned a lot today and that he'd never been taught the difference in the point of view of the story and the author's viewpoint/perspective.
