Bats Day in the Fun Park® / Goth Day was at the Superbowl this year….Ok not physically. It was brought to our attention that this :30sec spot aired during the Superbowl this year. You can see on the screen shot it says “Goths at Disneyland” with the writing under a photo “By Reggie Ugwu and a date of May 11, 2018. This ad was for the New York Times and the mention references back to an article they wrote about the 20th Anniversary of the Bats Day in the Fun Park / Goth Day event. We have posted a link to the article in our Bio’s links if you wish to read it. We have also posted the :30 sec spot in our reels here on Instagram. This is beyond amazing. We just want to thank everyone who has come to this event over the years, supported the event, help make our DisneyGoth Community bigger, posting your inspirations for DIsneyGoth and keeping the Bats Day in the Fun Park community alive. It’s crazy to think that just a small gathering of 2 Goth Clubs, going to Disneyland back in 1999 would have spawn this entire community let alone getting a mention on a Superbowl commercial.
