Green AT RISK MEMO: While Rome is social with people, Rome has shown concerning levels of dog reactivity in the care center that will need to managed by a New Hope partner. She continue to pull forward and vocalize with a tense body. 12/12: A realistic prop dog is brought out to further assess behavior while minimizing risk of incident or stress to the helper dog. Beautiful, Children, and Click: SHERLYD D#61928, YRS OLD 46LBS MANHATTAN ACC TO BE KILLED 6/4/19 OMG! Sherly is so adorable! Can we help her find a home? A volunteer writes: Sherly! This darling 4 year old lady is beautiful both inside and out! Sherly has a lovely smooth coat, perfect soft ears (one black, one white), a svelte frame, soulful eyes, and a winning smile. During our outing, she was content to roam, sniff around in the grass, and sit sweetly on the park bench beside me. She was non-reactive and friendly, happily checking out the pigeons, squirrels, and other dogs, but never approaching canines or humans. Sherly appears to be house-trained and did her business quickly after leaving her kennel and going out to the street. I would love to see Sherly in a home where she can enjoy leisurely walks, snuggles on the couch, and of course well-deserved treats (she certainly knows how to sit when asked and when a biscuit is in hand!).
