n e wayz, raven stole clothes off one of the dead guards inside the transporter she was in and then hitchhiked a ride w/ a family into town. the first thing she did was go mug sb to buy herself breakfast and use the rest of the money to reach out to an old contact and blackmailed / threatened them into wiring her money

before the money comes in, she’s homeless for abt 2 weeks ( and oh, hasn’t she been here before? it’s so different and exactly the same ) and then finally manages to secure herself an extra dingy flat when the first of her money Finally patches through and tbh she just

can’t move. can’t really breathe. getting up to do smth basic like shower and eat and take out the garbage is so far beyond her and it keeps piling up and piling up but she just can’t fucking move. can’t go outside. can’t do anything except sleep the day away, 20+ hours. she wasted away in there for what feels like years but was probably a couple of months? 3? 4 months? barely eating, barely doing anything, really

and tbh that never really Goes Away but. she drags herself out of bed and goes out for a coffee bc it’s cold and her heating’s fucked and the place is such a fucking mess she can’t even think about calling anyone in to fix it, and she hears that charles is dead. charles is dead and no one had found her, no one had told her, and she had to find it out on the news like she was No One in his life. and it’s exactly what she wanted all along ( god, she’d gotten sick and tired of him Asking all the time, just wanted him to stop ) but all of a sudden it’s just? the shock of it is too much and it hurts so deeply that she’d convinced everyone -- including charles, including erik, including herself -- that he’d meant nothing and he didn’t, he hadn’t, at all

and she went home and she raged and she screamed and she cried ( for the first time in months, since everything has happened ) and then she finally started to try and do something
