Not yet going to elaborate, especially since we have yet to see the mini series release in full
But I am skeptical that the scene we saw in the preview for the shadow short series is actually a memory
#shadow the hedgehog#sonic the hedgehog#sonic x shadow generations#i just be ramblin#sonic x shadow generations dark beginnings#all I have to say is that to me it reads more like a scene where Shadow is living a ''flashback'' in one of those ''all the necessary#players are there and some key events are happening but there are specific inconsistencies and weirdness that may point to this being an#illusion or a flashback that plays out like a dream event''#current running theory is that it's a bunch of events from Shadow's pov and how he thinks it happened rather than what actually happened#my slightly more crackpot theory is that this is him living out a fake memory as his current self that's half influenced by the key events#that would be known by shadow or the creator of this situation#and half influenced by Shadow's assumptions of how the events went rather than reality#it's the presentation of Emerl‚ Shadow being his current self voiced by his current va‚ and him actually mentioning the true purpose of the#ultimate life form rather than doubling down on how he was just created as a super weapon as he usually does#'I'm not gonna elaborate' I said#just before elaborating more in the tags#oh well
