Power Struggle

This weekends Power Struggle has to be one of the best ppv’s of the year. 

Young Bucks vs Dragon Lee and Titan is an international dream match that could be and probably will be amazing. 

The Bullet Club six-man is an eh match but so is every match Cody does. 

Chaos vs Los Intergloblas De Japan will most likely be a lot of fun. Okada, Ishii, Takahashi, Bushi, Sanda, and Niato are all great wrestlers it is hard to imagine them having a bad match. Takahashi and Okada together seems like it could be a lot of fun and doesn’t have a chance to happen too much because they are in different weight classes. Plus Niato vs Okada is, of course, the Wrestle Kingdom main even so it will be interesting what those to do with still two months before the match. 

Now let’s get to the title matches. Holy shit three of those title matches are amazing. 

Yano vs Suzuki is whatever and the bullrope gimmick is one of my least favorites. 

Will Ospreay vs Marty Scrull for the Jr. Championship is a classic match. I think I have seen this matchup once or twice and these two really hate each other. Marty Scrull is on a whole other level as far as putting on entertaining heel shit. The Aladdin thing the other day was the perfect way to do a Halloween match instead of whatever the WWE did. Ospreay as champion has only been a short time and I am excited to see what he does. Ospreay is having an insanely good year and I love watching anything he does. 

Trent Berretta vs Kenny Omega for the US Title. I’m not going to lie beside the inaugural tournament this title has been lame. The Ring of Honor match with Yoshi-hashi was boring. No one though Juice Robinson was going to beat Kenny. But this match could be the first good title defense Kenny has. I am a huge Trent fan dude works his ass off to put on good matches so I doubt he will disappoint in his first heavyweight title match (is the US belt just a heavyweight title?). These two are most likely going to go insane on each other so it should be fun to watch. 

Kota Ibushi vs Tanahashi for the Intercontinental title. This feud has been going on since the G-1 (aka the best thing in wrestling this year). My tournament favorite Ibushi beat Tanahashi. These two have battled in multi-man matches for months since then and they do not like each other. Kota Ibushi has been having himself a year and I personally think he NEEDS this title. But I don’t know if he will beat Tanahashi. 

I think there can be some very close title matches that could go either way. I’m betting at least one of these matches is a five star and I’m betting we get at least one title upset.
