I'm still so happy with how I implemented that bit; I didn't want him to just turn the screen pink throughout the whole game and call it a day, but the idea that he can take your choices away in a visual novel where choices are a key component just did something for me hehe!

I thought about adding monographs and collections of essays that I read (almost) front to back for university to my Goodreads, so that I may feel better about my reading challenge progress because I have been reading a lot just not purely for leisure, but of course they are not in the Goodreads database yet and I don't feel like going through the effort of adding them myself. Guess I'll continue to look like an illiterate loser.

My sleep schedule recently changed, and my body is still adjusting to it. I've always struggled to sleep at night, but my anxiety medication has been helping me to actually sleep decently. However, it's been difficult to adjust to being awake during the day instead of night, so I haven't really felt too motivated. That'll probably get better once I get more used to being up during the day.

i have a friend who was uncomfortable with physical contact when we first met. i was informed of this and i made a major effort to seriously dial down my touchiness around her- i’m a very physically affectionate person by nature but i’m not an asshole. anyways it’s been several years and several conversations and i now have basically full reign to be as affectionate as i feel like (although i still tone it down in public w her).

shes not as openly affectionate as me (nothing wrong with this) but she has mentioned she wants to be more affectionate. anyways the experience of having an extremely close friend who is only now starting to casually touch me has been making my brain go haywire. she kissed me on the cheek to say bye today and then basically ran away but i was like skipping into my apartment w hearts around my head
