You're so fucking hypocritical, imagine not letting people who ship anime sisters on your blog, but write about woundfucking. Lmaaaoooo
siiiigh this again ok
so 1. you know a dni isn’t personal right? people put things on their dni for a lot of reasons. plenty of people have “nsfw blogs dni” or “[x fandom] blogs dni” on their page. it’s not me telling you to kill yourself, it’s me saying “i’m not comfortable seeing or engaging with that content and i don’t want people who make it following me.” if someone has “antis dni” in their bio i block and move on because that’s exactly what they wanted. my blog is my space, just like your blog is YOUR space, and we’re both allowed to curate our own blogs however we want. tis the joy of the internet. i don’t wanna see people talking about wanting to fuck children, even if they’re fictional, so i take steps to make sure i don’t. you will NEVER find me in someone’s inbox yelling at them like this. block. and. move. on.
and 2. i’ve said this before so i’ll say it again: people are allowed to create whatever they want. i’ll literally never try to stop people from making things
HOWEVER
i do believe we as creators have a responsibility to make sure we are not causing harm with our content. my issue is not with what people make, but it is instead the way that proship creators will often showcase abusive and harmful dynamics as cutesy normal fun with no attempt to warn people who may be triggered or negatively influenced by that content (i.e. if you draw adult x child ship art and just put it out there for anyone to see, and an actual child comes across it and it normalizes the idea in the child’s head, that is on you.). the extra issue is that this sort of content is super prevalent in fandoms of children’s shows, which is a problem for obvious reasons; children are exponentially more likely to come across it. all of my works are tagged IMMENSELY to make sure no one comes across it who isn’t looking for it
if you want my full views on the matter, you can reference the links in THIS POST plus a bit of expansion HERE
but mostly, i want to emphasize my first point;
anyone is allowed to put whatever they want on their DNI bc it is YOUR responsibility to curate your own online experience. literally that is all i am doing.

Can I just say I love how you can be somewhat critical about certain things about totk without completely and unnecessarily trashing it and even adding humor. I wish more people were like that.
Aw, thank you! I'm just trying to make sure folks feel safe to enjoy things here (as long as, yknow, the respect goes both ways).
I definitely used to be someone who would trash stuff unnecessarily, and I'll always credit a mutual (although I did forget their handle,,,I'm so sorry) I had at the time for just letting me go on a long rant about why something bothered me and went, "That sounds really personal, but that got nothing to do with this." And all at once I realized I'd been projecting my needs/wants/expectations onto other peoples work (commercial or otherwise), and holding strangers responsible for serving me, specifically! Which is an absurd thing to expect from anyone!!
And sometimes I still forget the world doesn't revolve around me, glorious me, and I have to go back and apologize and do my mental health homework to figure out why I reacted a certain way, and why I took something so personally. But it's been really helpful to try and do the homework first, or type that whole salty take up and delete it or draft and review it again in the morning, before you make a stranger (or a friend!) feel bad or unsafe with you for the crime of enjoying something you didn't (which I have done, many times, and feel very bad about).
Plus, I've learned that if you're someone who is always analyzing and critiquing things, those moments can be really good practice for (respectfully! privately! in your own space! not on that stranger's post! not in that poor dev's DMs!) considering what you might have done differently, assuming you had the same parameters and resources available. I find this is especially good practice if you plan on entering a creative field! I promise you get a lot more sympathetic with how things turn out when you force yourself to dream within a budget and a deadline.
(also being nice to professionals is good practice! Some of them are jerks, true, but 99% of devs artists designers directors etc are just doing their best under a ton of stress and pressure to make everyone happy, and they're usually really proud of what they're able to accomplish, and they are absolutely not getting paid enough to deal with the comment section)
Once you let go of that need to be Correct and have control over stuff that isn't about you, you end up having a lot more fun and a lot less limitations for playing in the sandbox, and with other creatives! Plus you learn about yourself, and what your priorities and tastes are. You become a better story teller and collaborator when you can not only find but actively look for the good in things you may have completely dismissed as a kneejerk reaction to not liking something about it.
And again, I'm definitely still an ass, a lot more often than I'd like to be. I still struggle with that need to be Correct and to have complete control over my sandbox. I still get defensive and have to navigate rejection sensitivity when someone's idea contradicts mine. I definitely understand the reactivity when something means a lot to us, and it takes practice to share when you're used to being protective! But it's so, so worth it.
You meet such amazing people and find such wonderful, supportive communities when you embrace two cake theory. I highly recommend making an effort to expand your perspective and be a part of that support.
Supportive Community Pro-Tips from a Fandom Old Guy:
You don't have to adopt a theory to enjoy or appreciate it!
If someone's takes upset you, just block them. It's okay.
Don't critique someone's work unless they ask for critique
Don't RB someone's work with negative/contradictory comments, just make your own post
DO freak out in the tags/comments/inbox if you like something
Obviously don't wish harm over ships/headcanons/etc, just block!
Remember someone else's work is not about you
Remember someone else's work is Not About You
Are they experiencing a thing? Are they sharing their experience with you? That's a gift! Treat it like one!
Elitism is a mind killer. Newer ≠ Lesser, Older ≠ Greater. We all have stuff to offer and we all have stuff to learn.
and if I may impart the most important thing I've ever learned in fandom:
BE NICE TO EACH OTHER, WE'RE ALL JUST MAKING STUFF UP!
Thank you for the lovely message and for letting me ramble I'm!! Sorry this got so long and preachy, haha

A polite reminder to check your tone when you're sending asks to others - especially on anon. Also a notice that any hateful messages I receive in my inbox I simply block, so it may be worth thinking twice before you choose to encroach upon my space with the intent to be unkind.
Circling back to my first point, if something in one of my posts or the way that I tag things causes you genuine harm or offense, please reach out to me via DM. I'm not scary, I will have a civil conversation with you. I welcome you to educate me, so that I may know better and do better.
What I won't tolerate are passive aggressive anonymous asks - that indicates to me that you aren't looking to effect any actual change in behaviour, you just want to take a cheap pop shot, in which case you are ignored.
I say this with the utmost respect for everyone reading this, but if another person's actions drive you to want to reach out to them, but you don't feel you are in a position to DM them about it, simply block and move on. There are real people behind every blog on this website, it's not a void you're shouting into when you vent your spite and anger anonymously in someone's asks.
Take a walk, do something else for a bit, look at content you do enjoy. Similarly, if you receive nasty anonymous messages, strip the sender of their power by blocking and reporting - if you don't respond, you're not giving the aggressor what they want, which is your reaction.
I am open to any and all discussion, provided it's civil, and would never be unkind over DMs. Something to bear in mind if you take issue with anything I post, and wish to talk about it with me. Anyway, hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

You say that you don't force your precious theory on others but that's what you're doing. Not everyone WANTS to believe in a same theory.
Im not forcing a theory ON others, Im talking WITH others about a theory we like and have fun with. Sad that you dont know what the damn difference is!
I say all the time I dont care if people dont like the theory or disagree with me AS LONG as they dont attack me over my opinion and leave me and other dfo fans alone. Thats why what tags are there for. If I would want to force my opinion on others I wouldnt tag my stuff so people HAVE TO see it and dont have a chance to block it! If someone neither blocks the dfo tag OR me that simply shows that they WANT to see my posts and WANT to interact with me even if its in a negative way. Unlike YOU I dont go to other peoples inbox or comment sections of their posts if I hate the stuff they are writing about. I blocked all the tags I dont want to see, blocked all the people I dont want to interact with and NEVER write an ask to someone to attack, insult or shame them!
And the fact that YOU still havent blocked either me or the dfo tag shows that YOU want to argure with me and force YOUR negative opinion Im not interested in on me and other dfo fans!! Stop blaming others for something YOU do! You are not sitting on a moraly higher horse then anyone else and your fake morale code doesnt make you a better person and the fact that you try to shame people over liking a simple theory nobody harms and even stalks them like the weirdo you are and you do with me, is the prove!

when did you get the covid vaccine
Cool! So I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're a well-meaning person who has been misinformed about vaccine injury and give you some information.
Here's the CDC's page about adverse events after COVID vaccination. Here are some highlights:
"Anaphylaxis after COVID-19 vaccination is rare." "It has occurred at a rate of approximately 5 cases per one million vaccine doses administered."
"People receiving COVID-19 vaccines are less likely to die from COVID-19 and its complications and are at no greater risk of death from non-COVID causes, than unvaccinated people."
Now this part is interesting, because the J&J vaccine has been linked with higher incidence of Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS)! So that is concerning but in studying this link, they also found that Moderna and Pfizer vaccines showed no increase in GBS. If you were concerned that maybe I had the J&J vaccine, don't worry! I didn't.
"Myocarditis and pericarditis after COVID-19 vaccination are rare." "To date, evidence indicates that the benefits of mRNA COVID-19 vaccination outweigh the risk of myocarditis."
"Thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) has been rarely observed after J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccination and has occurred in approximately 4 cases per one million doses administered."
But let's say you don't trust what the CDC says. That's understandable, we should all try to do our own research, especially about things that could affect our lives and health. Ok so here are some specific research papers with some quotes of their conclusions.
COVID vaccine-induced liver injury: "The overall incidence of this phenomenon appears to be exceedingly low." "Providers should remain vigilant [...] and yet feel reassured by the low incidence and high likelihood of recovery."
COVID vaccine-associated myocarditis: "Myocarditis following immunization is a rare event." "At short-term follow-up, all patients with vaccine-associated myocarditis were asymptomatic with no adverse events."
Or perhaps you read the recent report about COVID vaccine injury incidence, or no, sorry, maybe you didn't read it but you saw an inflammatory and irresponsible news report about the study. Well here is a quote from Anne Bass, who is the lead author of the study, about the results: "It is important to note, however, that identifying a harm does not mean that it occurs frequently. Harms associated with vaccines are rare.”
Now, I see you also sent my friend Jack the same ask, thank you for your concern about our health. If you want to know more about my specific circumstances, I've messaged with many people about Long COVID who either sent me an ask or who asked a question in the tags of my Long COVID post, so don't be shy! If you need help understanding any of the studies linked then feel free to message me. And if you're personally concerned about vaccination for yourself, talk to your doctor, they know your medical history.
The funny thing is, I've met vaccine-injured people in Long COVID circles and they were all incredibly nice people who would never go into someone's inbox to anonymously ask and fearmonger about the vaccine. Have a nice day.

Good bye. I hope everyone who bullied me is fucking happy. I hope everyone who got my account deleted is happy. I'm done.
cw: mentions of self-harm and mutilation under the readmore, and also just basic dash consideration. I realize I have not been here in months, owe everything and everyone, etc... which adds an extra layer of mind-bending hilarity to this all.
Stray,
You are both breaking my heart and wearing my last nerve out. I'm only human. I'm not a saint. While I am genuinely very sorry that tumblr deleted your account, did you read the email that they sent to you? I know that you screenshotted it. You have it posted right now on this iteration of your blog.
Tumblr media
Truth be told? I don't know if anyone reported your account. I can say with a clear conscience that I didn't. I had no reason to. The last I interacted with you and/or that account was when I was in the comments of your pinned post, talking to you there.
I am not exactly certain that your account would have required much reporting, to be honest. I think that you are imagining a bandwagon of people joining together to work against you, given the way you are currently in several inboxes, calling people bullies and so on. Again, I can say with a completely clear conscience, I have never participated in any such link up or bandwagon against you, or anyone else.
So let's keep it a buck. You do somewhat routinely post about the things mentioned in that email. It's your blog, you have a right to talk about the state of your mental health if you want to, but in this case, it was tumblr itself taking notice and action of the frequency of that, and what specifically you were saying.
Hell, let's go back in time a bit. You and I literally met and became mutuals BECAUSE you posted a farewell note on your blog, several deletions and remakes ago. It was written as if it were a done deal, and having been familiar with your url in the fandom tags, I was immediately worried for you, stranger that you were, and desperate to reach out to you hoping it would come before a too-late kind of moment. You know what the saddest part of that search for you was? Encountering people who did claim to know you and who said, with great shame, that this was somewhat regular for you.
Tumblr media
You know it too, because even in our conversations you mentioned having been blamed or accused of attention seeking in the past and having callouts written about you.
The answer is right there, Stray. Your blog was deleted for mentions of self-harm. You may not have been glorifying it or promoting it, but you posted about it enough that you finally tripped a flag somewhere. That's it. That's all it is.
As for the rest? This is the second time you're calling me a bully. Yet again, I am asking you to prove it. Please show me the instances in which I bullied you, or the actions that I took against you. What, exactly, did I do? Because to the best of my recollection? I spent a while trying to be your friend, trying to be as supportive as I could be, introducing you to other friends of mine to help widen your circle, gaming with you, plotting things to write with you and then the one night I couldn't stay up late to talk with you because I was literally recovering from being incredibly ill AND had to take my son to an appointment the next day... ended up with you having sent me overnight screenshots of deleting your blog and either blocking or unfriending me on discord. Which one of those things was the bullying, Stray? Because the way I see it? You're the one who ditched me the second I couldn't be of use to you.
last but not least, rumor out of the hell part of this country says you have a problem with sharing mutuals. you don't like it when someone you like writes or interacts with someone you don't like and that may be the root cause of your distress. if so, rumors of my and @lt-ghxst's relationship are both greatly exaggerated and misunderstood. it's not my fault I tagged and bagged him, as that is what you do with wild gators. however, if he has slighted you, I don't take any responsibility for him. he's untrained and not yet housebroken. it's a miracle if I can get him to only piss outdoors. he bites. he's ornery and nasty-tempered. Honestly, he should probably be put to sleep but I am determined to break him in.

raxis has now decided to just name the person he has been harassing and block evading, fantasyinvader, and claims it's because you "Edelcritics" already mentioned him so he doesn't need to pretend anymore
Lmao, really? Of course he is. I know I said I was done with the guy until he went and harassed again and he's back at it literally not even two days later.
It is extremely telling that his takeaway from being told "hey, that person you've been screenshotting and reposting explicitly has you blocked, has had you blocked for months, you could not have possibly missed that you are blocked, and you are engaging in unwelcome and harassing behavior by continuing to do this. You're too old to not know what boundaries are so could you please respect some." was not "oh damn, maybe I went too far."
No his takeaway was "oh, good, someone else mentioned their name so now I can amp up my harassment further by explicitly name dropping him! I'm not responsible for anything because Vee is the one who revealed their identity, not me!" (Ignore the fact that he was encouraging people to go find FantasyInvader before he name dropped him, he was just being slightly less explicit about where to find him). He took me calling him out for his harassment as an invitation for further harassment. Like, honestly I don't even know what to say that could make the problems with his behavior any more clear.
Lemme spell this out clearly: MFer, I name dropped FantasyInvader so people would know how explicitly unwelcome your continued interaction with him was, not so you could gleefully abdicate your conscience and responsibilities for your own actions onto me. The difference between me saying his name and you saying his name is that I am attempting to act as an ally to someone you have been harassing relentlessly, and you are amping up harassment you already got the ball rolling on.
Also, inb4 raxy accuses me of harassing or being a hypocrite with this: I haven't even checked his blog since Saturday night, which I only did to see if he actually blocked me (and at that point I was still not blocked, by the way). Anyway, I'm very sorry that you're so horribly inconvenienced by me asking you for the fourth fucking time to respect other people's boundaries by not screencapping their posts and sending harassment their way just because you don't like their opinions about Edelgard von Fire Emblem. I would have stopped talking about you entirely if you'd just listened on the first attempt. I'm not sure why you think block evading to harass people over a video game character is the same as me explicitly calling out your actual behavior that actually constitutes harassment and is actually extremely harmful to actual real people.
Anyway, again, don't send harassment to his inbox. Keep all criticisms to his abhorrent behavior (or explaining how tag functions work, good lord I still can't believe he's trying to pass off a search function as a shadowy cabal of evil Edelhaters), please and thanks.

No weird DNI list, I block on vibes and bs like an adult. Empty blogs, I'm saying this for your own enjoyment of the platform: please add a pfp and/or an intro header because many of us block empty blogs on sight under the impression they're bots.

Yes, I am an atheist! No, I am not an anti-theist. No, I am not under the impression that I am smarter than someone just because they believe in a god or gods. (there are scientists who are christians after all not christian scientists that is a totally different thing and is legitimately harmful) I consider humanism a stronger indicator of one's character than whether or not one believes in the supernatural, and I would rather hang out with ten progressive theists than one asshole atheist.
THAT BEING SAID: If you try to proselytize/evangelize to me in favor of your preferred religion, I will not tolerate that for a single moment. Just accept that I do not believe, I've likely already heard every point you'd try to make several times over, and move on with your life without worrying about the state of my supposed soul (which I don't even know if I have).

Anon is usually turned on because I like shy people to be able to talk to me in a manner that makes them feel safe. However, anon is a privilege with some personal rules attached, and if someone abuses this privilege then anon will be turned off for a period of time.
Anon is currently: On!
📢💢📢💢📢
I don't reblog call-out posts, as it is all too common for it to be nothing more than personal beef blown out of proportion (or worse, dogpiling on a marginalized individual under the oft-exaggerated or outright falsified belief that they did something bad). Please don't come to my inbox telling me to delete reblogs of or block called-out users, especially on anon or if we've never interacted before. I think I'm cognizant and socially aware enough to be able to make my own judgments of people with my own critical thinking skills.

On occasion, some of my art may feature themes that some people consider to be fetishes, but my usage of those themes is not intended to be fetishistic. I am fine with those who do like those themes for those reasons enjoying my work, just please do not reblog them to solely fetish-themed blogs or make creepy comments on or about that art. I do my best to tag these pieces to help people who are bothered by said themes to avoid seeing them, but if I need further tagging please let me know. (note, however, that I will not be using any fetish-specific acronyms or phrases as tags for aforementioned no-fetish-intent reasons, ie. I will tag "petrification" or "faceless"/"headless" but not "asfr" or "nbm")

Okay so I'm Fiona Frost Defender #1 and someone tonight left a comment on a post I made in her defense.
The context is that the typical point I make when people make Fiona out to be a bad person is that all of her actions fall into at least one of the below categories:
Something Loid did
Something Yor did
A thoughtcrime that has not actually caused any tangible harm
And this person asked me (paraphrasing), "What did Yor do that Fiona also did?"
Now I'm fairly certain this person was not asking in good faith, and I chose to delete my response to their reply because I needed to block that person for my peace of mind and also it wasn't my original post and I didn't need to clog OP's inbox with my petty squabbling. But I do want to preserve my tags because I really do want to make people understand why I'm so defensive of Fiona - yes, it's because I love her, but also it's because the hate she gets is almost all based on a sexist double standard.
So. Here are my unabridged original tags on the post.
#look i don't wanna get into arguments bc i left petty discourse behind in the ml fandom #but this response really does not come across as a good faith question #a lot of the hate fiona gets is because she threatens yor's position as loid's love interest #whether or not that's why people SAY they hate fiona #my point was not “everything fiona has done WRONG is something that someone else did/not an actual crime” #it's that people dislike fiona for the same things they like in loid and yor #they dislike that she's cold and calculating and prioritizes the mission above emotional wellbeing #they dislike that she wants to be a militant parent to anya #when loid is cold and calculating and makes decisions that put the mission above his family he's a good man tho #when he leaves anya alone in an apartment and allows her to get kidnapped that's fine; it was just a mistake and he learned from it! #nevermind that fiona hasn't gotten the chance to learn because she's not actually made that mistake yet #when fiona is competitive and prioritizes her emotions over yor's she's a bitch #when yor is competitive and doesn't give fiona the chance to prove herself she's a badass #when fiona cares for loid with every fiber in her being she's selfish #but when yor marries loid so that she can keep acting as an assassin against his very allies she's SO made for him #this isn't anti-twiyor. i love twiyor. i want them to be happy. i've written fics about them #i like the ship and i think it's tremendously important for the story being told #but you can't sit here and say twiyor is good and nightlight is bad #while using sexist double standards to justify that argument #does fiona make mistakes? yes. she's not perfect #but if you're going to sit here and say that makes her worse than yor when yor kills people who are fighting fascism #you need to reassess your standards
Again: This is not intended to be evidence against Yor or Twiyor. I like both and I think they both are so important in canon.
But don't sit here and act like Fiona's icy exterior is as harmful to Loid as the fact that Yor kills his allies. There's a nonzero chance Yor has killed WISE agents, and yet Fiona asking Loid to drive her home after their tennis game is over the line for you? Huh. How peculiar.
I left the tags in where I said that I don't want to get into petty squabbles because I do want to live up to that, but I'm letting myself get into one (1) petty fandom squabble as a treat because I've been such a good girl. If you try to discourse over this you're getting blocked.

RULES &&. GUIDES
GENERAL
i am a pretty flexible partner, but i can also be equally as slow when it comes to replying. i work anywhere from 32-42+ hours a week, this is a hobby not my life. as much as i respect your time in replying, please respect mine. never assume i've forgotten about a thread, because i promise you i haven't - i'm just a slow sloth.
i do not mind slight godmodding, as the characters of the hazbin/helluva verse are immortal, deities, creatures, etc. of supernatural origins. powers, strength, magic, voodoo, religion, all of it is bound to come into play one way or another. lucifer himself is an insanely strong being - he just doesn't use his power very often. the only thing that bugs me is others assuming what goes on in lucifer's head. the old cuck doesn't even know what's going in his brain except monkey banging cymbals.
no anon hate, i think that?? goes without saying lmao. it'll be deleted immediately. you can bully lucifer as much as you want, but i'm not tolerating that nonsense thank you.
YES !! those starter calls are for you baby! i want to interact with you. YES !! those memes i reblog everyday are for you !! i want you to pester me, lucifer, i adore having a full inbox because memes and asks are the BEST way to get my attention. you thinking you're not sure if it's for you? send in your own asks !! unprompted shit is my FAVORITE thing to see pop up on my phone as a notification. do it, bug me!! i'm not that scary, i am probably the biggest baby you'd ever meet tbh.
my icons are edited for me and me only, please do not take them, but i am more willing to share where i got the bases from so you can have your own !!
FOLLOWING
tbh i don't always look at my followers, i've been on this website since i was a kid. however that doesn't mean i'm not gonna follow you back. i mentioned i was slow, right? yeah, that - at most it takes me 2-5 days to follow back unless for some odd reason i really didn't see your follow. tumblr loves not notifying me anyways, so just keep that in mind !!
this is a roleplay blog. i will not interact with personals and i hope you respect that to not interact/reblog my posts. i won't block you so long as you respect this one thing i ask of. you're welcome to follow, read my things, but do not reblog anything from me that comes from me.
i don't do the whole follow-for-follow. that always annoyed me, it still does. i don't get it... just, no lmao. if i follow you, i wanna follow you. i wanna interact with you, not to just be a number.
OC's should NEVER feel discouraged with me !! my main multi is mostly oc's, i live off of oc's. i love them. i only ask that there's a base page where i can receive some sort of information on them - it doesn't have to be elaborate, but i wanna know them !!
TRIGGERS &&. NSFW
this blog will be heavy with mental health topics. it'll contain depression, panic disorders, anxiety, ptsd, thoughts of self harm, acts of self harm, martyr complex, and much more. if you are sensitive to these topics or anything you think might lead to these topics, please turn around and do not follow me. i tag everything, but this will be a big chunk of my blog regarding headcanons, certain threads, etc.
i adore writing smut, any forms of it, but i don't write it with strangers. it often comes with just shipping with me, which we'll talk about below. however, if we share a ship (or more !!) i don't mind writing it with you, any form, or at any time. i love the intimacy (or even lack there of oops-) when it comes to sharing a body with someone.
MULTISHIP YAY OR NAY?
YAY!! I am multiship*, i will gladly toss this clown around to anyone like the switch he is lmao.
i love ships, but i also ship with chemistry. i don't like forcing myself to fall for a ship that doesn't hit me and i wouldn't want to do that to a partner either !! it's easy to be a people pleaser on this site, but don't be afraid to tell me if something isn't working for you, i don't take any offense to it. we're all adults here, we can talk like them with our big words.
*i will mention more about my shipping in this post.
WRITING
i write typically from para to novella, occasional crackhead behavior here and there with one-liners. my asks usually wind up on the longer side falling into drabble territory because i love setting a scene, describing such little details that it's probably annoying lmao. you don't have to match me word-for-word, but i would appreciate if length was kept to similar status.
WHAT ABOUT YOU?
me? i'm star, i'm 25. i work in retail, like i said i can be very busy during my workdays and may not always be available here. if you have my discord, don't feel discouraged to message me there, or even here if you don't. i will always try to make time between watching my department to reply to you. i'm often closing on my shifts, so usually by the end of the night i'm more eager to reply and like a chirping bird most nights. i'm under EDT currently (UTC -4H) so you can gauge my days.

Tumblr media
PERSONAL BLOGS: do not reblog ic posts, headcanons, or answers to asks. i will tag posts with ‘ok to rb’ if anyone can reblog them. please respect this.
Muse Specific.
This Jill is heavily headcanon based. Until more lore for the north is released, all lore is made up by me. Jill does not really recall her time in the north aside from a few memories of her mother.
Jill is a very capable fighter/assassin. She will not give in easily in a fight. Picking a fight with Jill is not a smart choice to make. Even after she gives away Shiva, she can still use ice magic.
Jill has scars. The game literally says she was tortured and in battle from when she was young and her skin is flawless lmao.
Jill is a victim of just about every kind of abuse you can imagine. I have very detailed headcanons involving her time with the Iron Kingdom.
FOLLOWING/UNFOLLOWING:
If I follow you, it's because I want to roleplay with you. If we are mutuals, I want to interact! Do not hesitate to reach out.
If you break a rule, I'll unfollow you. I am open to talking about this if it does happen and I typically am a little lenient the first time.
I will unfollow you if you post certain untagged content. Not tagged smut or nsfw, cutting/self harm images, and animal abuse will get you unfollowed.
If I disagree heavily enough with something you say, I will unfollow you to prevent myself from saying anything.
If you vagueblog a lot, post a ton of callouts, or are overly negative (as in a constant stream of negativity with little to no actual rp), I will probably unfollow you.
I DO NOT ALWAYS FOLLOW BACK RIGHT AWAY. i like to look over someone’s page before i follow them. so if you follow me and a week out, i have not followed you back and you have a rules page and about page and i have been remotely active. i may not have time to look over your page yet. sorry.
INTERACTIONS:
If we're mutuals, feel free to engage with any of my open posts, prompts, or starter calls!
If we aren't mutuals you can send memes so long as they aren’t interaction based (drabble prompts, headcanon asks, ect…), but do not like my calls or anything. thank you. this isn’t personal. it usually means i don’t think our styles will work together, i don’t know your fandom, you’re a personal blog, you have broken one of my rules, or i will possibly break one of your rules with the content i post.
If you're from a different fandom, so long as we’re mutuals i want to write with you. i don’t typically follow fandoms i’m not knowledgeable about a least a little. unless i know you from another blog or the character seems really interesting.
For OCs: if we’re mutuals feel free to interact with me in every way you can think of lol. if not, it may be because i couldn’t read your about page or something, your character won’t fit with mine, or you’re part of a fandom i don’t know. I really love OCs thought.
Reblog karma: if i reblog them it means i want them in my inbox. i don’t care if you reblog from me every so often without sending any in. but i greatly appreciate when you do. even if it hardly works and i never answer it, it means a lot to me that you thought to send me something. asks are how i get 90% of my threads.
For multi-muses: please tell me which muse you want a starter for or answer for. i probably won't respond if you don't. i may ask you in ims but sometimes i won't.
If you are a sideblog to a personal/other fandom, please let me know so I can follow the right blog.
SOFTBLOCKING
IF I FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE NO INTEREST IN WRITING WITH ME, i will probably softblock. if i send asks or like starter calls and never get anything for weeks/months despite us being mutuals, i'll probably soft block.
I'll softblock if I see you engaging with certain blogs as mentioned above.
BLOCKING
IF YOU SEND ANON HATE and i find out, blocked. IF YOU SPREAD LIES about people, blocked. IF YOU TRY TO FORCE ME TO SMUT, blocked. IF YOU MESSAGING ME OOC EVERY SINGLE TIME I COME ONLINE and get really passive-aggressive when i don’t answer, blocked. IF YOU GUILT TRIP ME, blocked. IF YOU POST SEXISM, RACISM, TRANSPHOPBIA, HOMOPHOBIA, OR BIPHOBIA… you will be blocked. i don’t care how mild it is or if you don’t see it that way. IF YOU REBLOG CONTENT that i have written, headcanons, answers, replies, ect… and you are a personal blog. you will be softblock, if not just outright blocked. UNLIKE WITH UNFOLLOWING, AND EVEN SOFTBLOCKING, DO NOT TRY TO ASK ME WHY. BLOCKING YOU MEANS I DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOU. IT MEANS YOU MAKE ME UNCOMFORTABLE. IT MEANS, PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN. THANKS.

Like, is the gist "Real life pedophilia/incest/rape is bad, and stories saying these things are good are bad, but including these topics in a story isn't inherently bad, so the people being like 'hey, maybe Ao3 shouldn't have so much kiddie porn there's an entire category called "Underage"' are just overreacting and making things worse?" Because it feels like you're saying, "your negative reaction to this stuff is valid, but also you're annoying and prudish and bad and really you aren't valid."
So here’s the thing: it really does not sound like you're asking this question because you want my answer, it sounds like you want to be angry with me and have a fight. And fair enough! I'm not terribly interested in a fight, but apparently this is my day to dive into this topic as thoughtfully and honestly as I can be. Maybe I'll say something you haven't already heard from other people before. Maybe not! Only you, anonymous asker, know that.
To begin with, you got part of the gist right. Real life rape (including child abuse/child sexual abuse as well as incest) is bad. Stories about rape, about underage sex, and about incest, are stories.
They're stories. They're pixels on a screen. They're not real. Whether they claim that rape is good, or bad, or sexy, or melodramatic, or life-destroying, or a normal Tuesday afternoon. They're stories.
And having a negative reaction to them is valid. Stories can stir up powerful emotions in people. It is absolutely, 100%, fair and valid and even normal for there to be certain tropes, plot elements, events, and kinds of content that make you upset and that you never want to see in a story you read, ever. You don't have to want to read about sex. You don't have to want to read any of it. That doesn't make you bad.
There are tropes, plot elements, events, and kinds of content that upset me. There are stories I won't read. The same is true of literally everyone else I know. Even though I know the stories aren't real. Even though I know the things happening in them are happening to fictional characters, who do not exist, who I cannot protect and who also cannot be harmed because they're not real. Even then, I can be made sad and scared and upset and hurt by reading those stories. And that is okay and that is valid and I am not bad or wrong for being upset about the story I've read, and neither are you.
But that doesn't mean the story doesn't have value to somebody else. That doesn't mean the story isn't important to somebody else.
What I see most often coming from antis, possibly even including yourself, is an overwhelming desire to protect. They want to keep themselves and others--possibly people they know, possibly hypothetical people they may never meet--safe from being hurt by these stories. And that desire to protect, also, is normal. It's even admirable! The problem, though, the thing that does more harm than good, is when that desire to protect drives people to lash out against things that matter to other people.
There is a difference between actual rape and stories about rape. There is a difference between a story that could theoretically hurt somebody, someday (which is all stories, always), and a story that hurts you personally. And there is a difference between a story that hurts you personally, and a story that is inherently poisonous to everyone who touches it.
We know--absolutely, scientifically, incontrovertibly--that stories about rape do not make people rapists. Yes, even the stories where the rape is there to be sexy. Even stories where the person being raped is a child. Even then. Fiction is not the same thing as normalization; again, there are far smarter people who have written far more extensively on that topic than I, and next time I come across something that goes more into detail on this point I promise I will reblog it. If this really is the thing you're afraid of, I may not be the right person to convince you that this is an unfounded fear, but I know someone out there can elaborate on it.
(Unfounded, which is not the same thing as invalid. My mother's claustrophobia is unfounded; it flares up in many situations where there's no physical threat whatsoever, where she has plenty of space to move and air to breathe. It's still real. It still chokes her. It's still valid, she is not bad or broken to feel that way, and she still can't drive through certain tunnels. The fear is real. But the thing she's afraid of can't physically hurt her, and that is worth knowing in terms of how she deals with it.)
We know, absolutely, scientifically, and incontrovertibly, that stories about rape and many, many, many other things can hurt and even traumatize their readers. Even though the situation you're reacting to is not real and you receive no physical injury, you can still be hurt by it. The key word there, though, is readers. The fact that the horror genre is out there terrifying people who enjoy being terrified for fun does not damage me unless I do something stupid and try listening to the Magnus Archives again and end up tense and miserable and paranoid for the rest of the week. The fact that guacamole is apparently delicious to everybody else in the world does not hurt me unless I do something stupid and order the wrong thing at a restaurant, and end up itchy and miserable with a little trouble breathing for the rest of the night.
The fact that there are, yes, tens of thousands of fics on AO3 in which characters under the age of 18 have sex? It can't hurt you. Those fics do not hurt you by existing. They can only hurt you if you read them. They can only hurt anyone who reads them. That's why there is an 'Underage' tag--and it's worth noting, 'Underage' is a warning, not a category. Nobody wants you to get hurt reading the wrong fic, any more than the sushi chef wants my throat to swell up because I ordered something with avocado. Literally nobody wants that.
The flip side, of course, is that you hating each and every one of those fics individually and as a group doesn't actually hurt me, or anyone else who writes, reads, or enjoys them. By itself. You can hate anything you like, and fic writers can write anything they like, and it all comes out in the end, more or less. Except.
Except that reading fic is always, entirely, 100% opt-in, and online harassment isn't even opt-out. Some antis have a nasty habit of going after writers whose content they don't like; climbing into inboxes and comments sections, calling those writers nasty names, throwing around cruelties and aggression and insults. I know that's not the same thing as simply disliking a genre, or even passively disagreeing with its existence (although disliking a genre and disagreeing with its right to exist are also very different things). I know not all antis do that. I don't know you, anon, but based on the speed and aggressiveness of this response to my last post, I can't help but wonder if you would do that.
And that does hurt people. Just like it might hurt you if someone threw a bunch of content that makes you uncomfortable into your inbox. Including the harasser, actually--because getting into fights with strangers on the internet about things that make you angry, sad, defensive, and upset isn't good for anybody. Including both you and me.
Anyway, after yet another lengthy ramble, let's get the tl;dr response to your ask here: nobody is ever bad or wrong for disliking certain content in their stories, no matter what that content is. You and your emotions are valid. The "overreacting and making things worse" part isn't about what you feel, but what you do with it. Constantly engaging with places where the thing that upsets you will probably show up, even to argue and try to fight it, will make things worse in the sense that now you're spending way more time thinking about this thing that makes you upset and angry, thereby leaving you more upset and angry. Getting together with a bunch of your upset, angry friends to make your feelings everybody else's problem? Makes fandom a more toxic place for everyone else involved.
Don't read stuff that's going to hurt you. Don't make other people read stuff that's going to hurt them. That's the whole thing, really.

Regular reminder that prismatic-bell is not only a proshipper, xe're (xe uses xe/xir pronouns) also horrifically vitriolic towards addicts and threatened to doxx a native person who told them that that was shitty
Tumblr media
[Image description: an ask published to prismatic-bell, off anon, with the asker's name censored for their protection. They say, "your opinions on drug users are disgusting and ableist as fuck. I'm a harm reduction volunteer and you literally don't know what you're fucking talking about." Prismatic-bell responds, "Ah yes. My lived experience being robbed, harassed, and threatened by drug users, and the PTSD therapy I'm in right now as a result, means I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about, while your "harm reduction volunteerism" (whatever the fuck that means) definitely makes you an expert.
I see from you're pinned post that you want to be a children's librarian, incidentally. A position that requires you to be open-minded, patient, and to not be horrible to people. A description, by the way, that's also supposed to apply to people that work with drug addicts.
It would be a terrible shame if I knew people who could trace you and let your school and your "harm reduction volunteers" leaders know you send this kind of bullshit online.
Oh wait.
There are approximately 2700 people in the First Nations group you belong to, as per your About. You say you live on the group's actual land, which cuts the number to about 1200. You also link a Steam profile with the name you use. So I have your name, your age, your gender, and the fact that you live in a relatively small group of people. And also know at least 2 people who know how to trace IP addresses just as like, a part of their job.
Would you like to try again? Because I have no problem making some phone calls.
Also, not that it matters, but "I am going to school to become a children's librarian! Ask me anything, my inbox is always open, but please be nice!"
Hypocrite. Liar and hypocrite."
The post is tagged "hate mail hall of shame" and dated July 6, 2021. /End description.]
This is absolutely unhinged and unacceptable behavior toward someone who literally just said "hey you're being ableist as fuck, as someone who works with the people you're demonizing." I'm tired of seeing xir additions on posts on my dash, or makes me not want to reblog them, no matter how good they are.
Edit: the link provided is no longer good, go to my reblog with several more for examples that work

That anti-rwde anon is so weird to me. "Don't you understand your posts with 50 notes is harmful to a hugeass fandom?" And they say this to one of the most chill analysis blogs in the FNDM? You're not picking fights in people's inboxes, sh*tting on characters in their fan tags or starting witch hunts (hell, I usually see all that happening TO rwde posters instead), but apparently stating opinions on YOUR BLOG is... harmful? Have RWBY fans never consumed another piece of media before?
It really is ridiculous, isn't it? I mean, putting aside the simple, three step process to just block me, “Don’t you understand your posts with 50 notes is harmful to a huge-ass fandom?” is exactly it. I’m not some influencer swaying the fandom—that’s barely even a thing on tumblr. Plus, 50 notes is on the high-end for most of my posts and about 99% of that engagement comes from the same lovely pool of followers/friends. We’re a tiny group catching-up in a virtual coffee shop while across the street someone is screaming that our conversation ruins their trip to the city. Really? Does it? Because that sounds kinda absurd. Why don’t you just go enjoy this huge-ass city instead of standing here, deliberately listening in on a conversation you don’t want to be a part of? “I didn’t have a choice but to hear you when I was getting my coffee!” That’s too bad. How about tuning us out like everyone else does? This is a public space with thousands of conversations happening throughout the day. If catching wind of one you dislike really ruins your whole trip, then you need to change your itinerary to “stay home” and only invite the people over whose opinions you want to hear.
As said though, I suspect that the vast majority of such anons simply get off on taking a nonsensical, moral high ground. They’re not actually grappling with how to enjoy a fandom alongside others, they just like feeling superior, so they make up things to be angry about. Based on the generic “RWDE is evil” talking points and how many anons engage with arguments I’ve made (AKA, they don’t) I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone leaving messages like that haven’t even looked at my stuff longer than necessary to go, “It’s critical and that’s bad.” They just chuck out accusations, knowing that everyone else interested in playing these games will take it at face value. At this point, analyzing RWBY—not even straight up criticism, simply the acknowledgement that everything you unpack might not automatically be positive—is a short-hand for all sorts of nonsense, most of which can indeed be summarized with, “You’re harming the fandom!” Hopefully with some distance and, depending on their ages, some growing up, most of these anons will be able to look back someday and realize how a desire to feel like a certified Good Person™ and fit into specific fandom crowds led them to some pretty ridiculous leaps in “logic.”
