I thought it was so heartfelt! David just seems like he’s going so far out of his way to apologize and carries so much on his shoulders when it comes to his past behavior toward her. I agree Gillian does get a little scripted with her promos which made me sigh a bit… But when they were on track?? Some real good shit. Gillian really knows how to steer David thru and out areas that David is really uncomfortable with and he follows thru to answer her.. likewise David is good at following her train of thought and getting thru to her point. I did get the impression that some of the rawness of David’s confessions kind of clocked Gillian to the point where she like fell back and was just absorbing and wanting to listen rather than talk. I love hearing their closeness and that 30 year friendship, it really does shine thru and their chemistry is still there. I’d like to hear another convo between them w/o the self promos as an incentive, and now that they know a little more of what to expect. But I do agree w/ David on how he safe guards their relationship because he doesn’t want it to feel performative… so who knows if we’ll get another ever. But it would be nice (there was so much more I wanted to hear about in depth).

I love that he's obviously really thought about this and reflected upon it. His apologies seemed genuine. They have such a way with each other. She sometimes took over, asking him questions, and it just worked. They know exactly how to handle the other.

So, Tim has a lot of accounts for things, that's easy to say.

He's got at *least* seven Twitter accounts, somewhere around four Tumblr accounts, three Ao3 accounts, Instagram accounts for Wayne-Tech and Drake Industries, three-ish Youtube accounts, and probably a boatload of others I neglected to mention.

However I headcanon that he has one (1) Pinterest account. [explanation below cut]

Okay, never has he ever needed to stalk someone's Pinterest undercover, and I can guarantee that he found extra photos and videos and fan-art of Batman and Robin when he was a little lad. I can imagine him having a board for everything under the sun since he's had the account for so long.

I also like to imagine that he used it for recipes when his parents were away. I don't care what the fandom thinks, that boy can cook! Nobody just bought him Kraft Mac&Cheese, he's supposed to be cultured! Since Pinterest can cater to whatever, it ended up being useful for other things too, so he kept using it.

Damian started getting into Warrior Cats? Tim's got a pinterest board locked and loaded

I need to tell you guys about the incredibly amazing adaptation of "The importance of being Earnest" i saw last night

It was so great it made me understand why people want to write fanfiction, I forgot how much I love theater as a medium. Especially modern adaptations of older plays, specifically comedic plays, can be made even better with elements of the modern postdramatic movement. And i feel like theatres are much more free to do what they want because they are less commercial than movies and also so much more intense and always different and the city I live in is so diverse so they can do even more because they know it will be accepted.

To come back to the play i watched, I'm not gonna write an essay, I just want to say that it was so gay Oscar Wilde would've been so fucking proud, okay thank you

Okay actually,

probably the next chapter won't really be that bad. It's like the beginning of the bad.

well,

the beginning of them both handling things poorly because of reasons (trauma, the reasons are trauma)

But I really liked that lil morning moment at the end of the last chapter and I think part of me just wants them to stay there a little longer. Y'know? ANYWAY IT'S A HAPPY ENDING SO IT'LL ALL BE FINE (this is mostly for my benefit, I need a reminder)
