we need more fuckass idiot readers in reader-insert fics. and by that I mean making terrible rancid choices. absolutely undignified and unjustified. none of this politically correct shit. we need crime and humiliation and consequences to idiot actions. lots of it.

SAR! I’m already obsessed with your new series, Afterglow. As much as I love dominant Levi, it still feels refreshing to read a fic where Levi is submissive and the reader dominant, instead of the other way around.

Levi is absolutely adorable, too!! The way he gets so worked up and flustered from the tiniest things - so fucking cute! I seriously keep smiling like an idiot whenever Levi gets all shy and embarrassed. He still seems to struggle with fully being comfortable with his sexuality, though. But I hope he grows more comfortable with it as the story progresses, and I’m sure J will be of help.

While we’re on the subject of J, let me talk a little about her! I always love the readers in your fics, so of course, J is no exception. Her confidence and straightforwardness are such attractive traits, and I can’t blame Levi for becoming an absolute mess around her, as I’m sure I’d be no different. I’m super happy that you made her bisexual, too!

Also, please don’t apologize for writing a bunch of variations of Levi receiving a blowjob! You are extremely talented at writing smut, and it never feels repetitive. The way you write is so descriptive, and you do a great job at portraying emotions, which makes it easy to get into the scenes as a reader.

You’ve mentioned how you haven’t had a lot of motivation to work on your other fics at the moment, i.e., Silver Soul and Hey, Hemingway! (I saw that you worked on Silver Soul the other day, though. Good job, Sar!), and only have felt like working on Afterglow, which is totally fine! Writing should be something you enjoy and have fun while doing, so please don’t force yourself to write something you don’t feel like writing. There’s nothing wrong with taking breaks, whether that is from writing altogether or just specific fics. So, write whatever you want whenever you feel like it, and do it because it’s something you genuinely feel like doing!

I’m so excited to see this story progress, and I’m already looking forward to the future chapters (especially after reading the tags on AO3). Thank you for putting so much time and effort into your work and for continuously posting great content!

Thank you for reading Afterglow!!! I’m so happy you like Levi’s character in it because I was definitely nervous about how I was portraying him. But this is so reassuring and actually inspired me to go through and edit the third chapter LOL.

But yes!!! Omg I’m really excited to explore Levi’s and J’s psyches in this fic and their relationship with sex and their own sexualities. There’s a lot of guilt that is sometimes associated with having certain kinks, and a lot of misconceptions about having healthy relationships where dom/sub dynamics are prevalent. I’ve been doing lots of research and frequently looking new info up. It’s all so interesting!! I literally could write an essay about this stuff.

I’m so happy you like the Reader too. She feels a lot different than other Reader’s I’ve written (to me, at least, she feels different). So I’m happy she’s being received well <33
