Fave thing about TXT I learned recently is they themselves named their subfandoms. Meaning they EMBRACE subfandom within MOA. So each member has a subfandom name for their fans.

Granted that does nothing for haters and antis, they will always exist in any fandom or outside of it, but actually accepting that some people will only be fans of one or some members is smart. Ignoring that reality does nothing, so might as well make room.

In the middle of Jiyu’s nap, her phone vibrated next to her pillow. The consistent vibrations caused her to wake up. Wearily rubbing her eyes, she realized someone was calling her.

Blindly reaching for her phone, she squinted from the brightness the little device was emitting.

She immediately pressed the green answer button. “Hello...?” she quietly said, her voice heavy with sleep.

“Yah, did I call at a bad time?” Sunwoo chuckled from the other side. “I’m doing a vlive and The B’s wanted me to call my best friend. You’re on speaker, by the way,” he warned.

She slightly scoffed hearing him emphasize best friend—the title that they used in public in front of fans to cover their real relation with each other. “Oh, is that so?” she asked while rubbing the sleepiness away from her eyes.

“Were you sleeping?” he asked, feeling a slight twinge of guilt for disturbing her rest. He knew how hard she worked, and is working, for ATEEZ’s comeback.

“Yeah, but it’s fine,” she reassured. “Do I introduce myself?”

“Mhm, go ahead,” Sunwoo said as he brought his phone closer towards the camera.

“Hi, The B! I’m Jiyu from ATEEZ.”

The incoming comments were all filled with excitement and surprise from Sunwoo’s guest. He slightly chuckled as he read the comments.

“The B really like you,” he pouted. “I feel betrayed.”

Jiyu laughed. “Stop pouting, I can feel it through the phone.”

“I was not,” he denied. “Oh, let’s answer some of The B’s questions,” he suggested when he noticed some fans leaving questions for them.

“Okay,” she answered, realizing she had to be careful about what she said if she didn’t want to expose their relationship.

“How did we become friends?” he asked. “You answer this one and I’ll answer the next one.”

“How we became friends...?” Jiyu thought. “It was after that one Weekly Idol episode where I was a special MC. I then started talking to you through Eric.” Obviously, she left out a chunk of details, but she figured she summed it up pretty well.

“You’re correct!” he said like a game show host, making Jiyu slightly chuckle and roll her eyes, although he couldn’t see it.

Sunwoo attempted an English question. “Sunwoo, if Jiyu is really your best friend...then what is her worst fear...? Are they asking what you’re afraid of the most?”

“Yes,” she chuckled, inwardly melting at how adorable he sounded when speaking in English. “I don’t think I’ve told you this before.”

“Uhhh,” Sunwoo stammered as he thought of all the most common fears most people have. “Spiders?”

“Ew, they’re gross. But nope.”

“Heights?”

“That’s not my worst one.”

“The dark?”

“Nope.”

Unbeknownst to Jiyu, Sunwoo was pleading with his eyes at the camera, silently asking The B’s, or any ATINYs, for the answer. Soon, the comment section was blowing up with one common answer.

“Clowns?”

The silence on the other side was enough for Sunwoo to know he got it right. “Really?”

“...Did The B’s and ATINY tell you?” she asked with a mock accusing voice. “That’s cheating, Kim Sunwoo!”

“We would’ve been here all night if I wasn’t smart enough to ask The B’s,” he joked.

She dramatically gasped. “What a fake best friend, you don’t even know my worst fear!”

“Sorry,” he said in a sing-song voice. “Okay, your turn to answer a question.” He decided to tease her with a highly requested question. “Jiyu, do you like Sunwoo?”

Silence.

Jiyu took a moment to process the question. “Do they mean as a friend or...”

“I’ll leave that up to your imagination,” he chuckled, enjoying how flustered she sounded.

“Hmm...then no, he’s mean. All he does is tease me.”

“Yah!”

Jiyu bursted into laughter at his whiny tone. “I’m not wrong, though!”

“Hmph, we’re not best friends anymore then,” Sunwoo playfully huffed. “Eric is now my best friend.”

“No, he’s my best friend!”

A few minutes passed as Jiyu and Sunwoo jokingly argued over who was best friends with Eric.

Sunwoo’s eyes widened when he realized how late it was. He didn’t want to keep Jiyu or The B’s awake up very late. “The B, unfortunately I’m going to end the live since it’s really late,” he pouted. “The B, I love you!” he shouted.

“Bye, The B!” Jiyu said over the phone. “You can’t see me but I’m making a heart over my head while laying in bed,” she chuckled.

After spending a few more minutes saying goodbye to The B, Sunwoo ended the V–Live. Once he was sure the live ended and that he was by himself, he let out a little snort. “So clowns?”

“Leave me alone...” Jiyu whined. “Clowns are a pretty common fear!”

“You’re so cute,” Sunwoo smiled. “And sorry I woke you up.”

“It’s okay, bub. I haven’t talked to you in a while since promotions so I’ll take any chance I get,” she reassured. “And I kind of...” she started mumbling, making Sunwoo unable to hear the latter part of her sentence.

“What?”

“I said I kind of...missyou,” she quickly said again, feeling her cheeks heat up.

Sunwoo’s heart skipped a beat and a huge smile spread across his. “You can’t do that out of nowhere, that’s not fair,” he pouted. “You really are too cute for my heart.”

“Since when did you get so cheesy?” she chuckled to cover up how flustered she was.

“Shut up.”

“...How cute.”

“I’m literally about to get a heart attack, stop!” Sunwoo whined, making Jiyu chuckle.

Losing sleep for this was definitely worth it.

could you elaborate on when you said that people who felt/feel unpretty often become jimin stans/biasers

because jin defies every self-defeating principle but still has a common ground with you. even if “as bias, as stan” applies as always, jin has found a way to tackle that mentality in himself, he’s the you from a wanted future. that’s the difference: he’s come the same way but already completed most plates in his armor, at least on the outside and as far as we can tell. 

it’s just like people who know they’re unconventionally attractive will bias yoongi. he has made a brand out of it, flat out admitting he’s not the standard and struggles with mental health. all while being desired regardless, swimming in projects and recognition and income with a devoted fan base. 

mind you, that is not his totality and a lot of it is a created image, but i refer to the principle here. ‘yoongi has his problems but he’s killing it anyway’, that’s how we perceive him in the media outlets. if yoongi himself, in a silent moment, really thinks he’s killing it and is happy with that, that’s another question we can’t know.

the point is. our biases do share our insecurity. they just go the extra mile and succeed with the tactics we aspire to perfect to stabilize our self-esteem and life. our bias is seemingly one step ahead and we enjoy them so much because they demonstrate where to go, and that this extra mile is feasible. 

as in: if jin can feel ugly but remain in his unshakeable confidence, it could work for me as well. if yoongi can feel drained but hustle, it could work. if jimin could feel insecure but still be popular, it could work. and so on. there’s a huge theoretical hope for oneself attached to biasing someone.

you can image that this has many benefits for your personal progress or temporary soothings which are also important, but also comes at the risk of forgetting yourself and cracking under an unmet hope. aspiring towards improvement driven by desperation sometimes overshadows your actual gifts and strengths that are already fully formed. 

on top of that, it paints idols as being far from extremely vulnerable at a giant scope. it gives them massive role model and projection sphere responsibility as well. at worst, their image traps them in a circle — or they hide that they are actually ‘one step behind’ if you will. because they don’t want to disappoint or admit it to themselves, either way it would mean great discomfort.

that’s why i think one of the best things to do as a fan is finding the member that is on ACTUAL felt eye level with you, and not several steps ahead and so on top of their demons for most of the time. so, your truer carbon copy without regard to the difference in fame obviously. the purpose of that exercise is this: it brings you back to what you currently sport and removes some weight from the esteem question. 

for instance. you could realize that say namjoon actually represents you. in other words, there are even more similarities than with jin. personality-wise you could act as if you were RM perfectly. you can also tell the difference in how rather than adoring him, you respect that member. 

so, knowing you’re similar to namjoon, you would see that your appeal intrinsically rests in how smart and eloquent you are. with a quiet confidence that comes with natural authority that others find magnetic and want to kneel before judging by what namjoon stans are saying in the tags all day. 

the armor is completed there. it needs no fixing beside its natural evolution and adjustment. a namjoon stan would see namjoon one step ahead in their shared struggles, and they would see namjoon himself as trying to employ a tactic to better himself. but from your perspective, since you feel more on eye level with his personality, it looks mighty different. you can learn something about yourself and also find things your esteem is already firmly built on, believe it or not. the member you’re akin to is a great mirror for positive feats.

also, see how the member you resemble the most has a way different strategy for the esteem question (!) that you and your bias share and wrestle with so much pain involved. take namjoon again who has his head in the clouds. he thinks about big issues, he’s preoccupied left and right, he is bts’ central mastermind. everything groundbreaking that was ever done in bts’ reign leads back to namjoon planting the seeds. there is not too much time for thinking about body and surface. and for what reason? he’s namjoon doing namjoon things the way he is needed. 

there is no person ever doubting that he is a qualified person for his position. his brain can make anything happen for him and he can rely on his many positive attributes without even thinking about it. how attractive he is perceived as is not the ultimate decisive factor, and it’s already interwoven with how intelligent others think he is, and that he’s the leader. 

his role has already set his visual appeal and he treats his appearance effortlessly (see e.g. his relaxed style on kimdaily). to the point where he can emphasize self-love and advise someone like jimin who is times more glamorous and causes an immense stir with his looks everywhere and takes first place in so many polls, let that sink in. park jimin. 

you can already tell: once you see the parallel to the member you resemble, you find your easiest, fastest, and most effective strategy to deal with your problem to the point of completely pulverizing it. because you realize it all made no sense to worry from the very start.

is namjoon’s main concern and life topic to feel and be and become universally known as pretty? not in a million years. it’d be so far off his track and god-given capabilities, and the most out of character thing you’ve ever heard. 

if he’d come along crying in need of embraces, questioning his looks every other hour looking for reassurance (e.g. like jimin), or began to boost his esteem with a moniker (e.g. like jin), people would be like, what the hell is going on and why would he have a reason to do that?? 

you see what i’m getting at. for jin or jimin, it would make sense in their overall life scheme, it connects to their goals and struggles and dreams. but for namjoon, that’s total nonsense, nor does anybody expect it from him whatsoever. his responsibility is way elsewhere. and he’s confident in it despite all obstacles. and since you, in my example here, resemble namjoon... connect the dots.

to anybody who cannot relate to namjoon, it must be the most unfair thing ever. and they probably bias jungkook 😄 because he thinks the same thing but also has a little extra mile advantage (being a highly physical and in the moment person which namjoon is not, it’s his achilles’ heel in fact). you can see how this dynamic goes on and on. 

TLDR - the take-away is, find the member you compare to. besides the self esteem tactics your bias uses, this member can have a valuable lesson on your charm points.

Bobby: No matter how many times Bobby hears the boy speaking informally, whether to him or to anyone else, he’d get defensive and tell them to be respectful (you know the video where JinHwan says “lets get f**ked up!” and bobby flips out… it’d be like that but much more serious/harsh.) It’d be hard to deal with yelling at the boy because of his genuine love for him but he knows that it needs to be done or the boy could get into some serious trouble. Low and behold, the boy has proven himself to be quite the handful who doesn’t particularly take anyone’s advice into consideration. During the opening ceremony of ISAC the boy fails to raise his right hand during the declaration ceremony. That in itself was something Bobby knew was going to cause major problems with commentators and fans alike but what really upset him was seeing the boy refuse to bow to a senior idol during the Archery event and hearing him speak just as informally to them as he does with the other IKON members.

Bobby knew that no one would let that slide, not even himself, it angered him to know that the boy he loves so much ignored everything he had told him and warned him about and took his concern for him and practically threw out the window by being such a brat. It wasn’t just his lack of mannerisms that upset him but the acknowledgment that all of the IKON boys were going to be seen negatively and would have to send out apologies due to this boy’s actions.

Before anyone could comment on it he’d pulled the boy off to the side, as usual, but would really give him an earful about how disrespected he felt, how disrespected the others felt, how many problems this was going to cause, and how this could possibly be the end of his career and possibly the end of Bobby’s love for him if he chooses not to own up to everything himself and make up for all of his wrongdoings immediately.

“We’ve all warned you so much that you need to learn some manners yet you’ll ignored everyone and let us all down, not just Me, not just the other IKON guys, Not just the commentators or the senior idol but EVERYONE, all of our fans, all of the other kpop fans. This is the last time I’ll give you a warning, get your shit together over EVERYTHING will be over for you. You can start by owning up to your poor actions and apologizing to the public for everything that you’ve done.”

JinHwan: Since JinHwan is the oldest member, he’d take being spoken to informally as a major insult regardless of who it was who speaks to him like that. He’s a no nonsense type of guy so, no matter how much the love for each other is reciprocated, he’ll light into the boy at any given moment if he talks to him using informal speech. Whether his attempts to put the boy in his proper place will work will depend on how low he’s willing to stoop to get on the boy’s nerves. JinHwan is smart so he’ll learn what makes the boy tick and, if it must be done, he’ll use that knowledge against the boy to get him to behave, he may stoop so low as to hold some “light-hearted” blackmail on the boy as well as use the usual constant nagging and being snarky to put him in his place.

“You really think you’re going to be anyone’s bias if you keep on acting the way that you do? You remember all of those times that you’ve asked why no none of our fans or seniors seem to like you? Well your lack of manners and respect for others is the reason why. The reason why you’re not popular is because you’re an asshole to everyone around you, including me.”

The final straw for JinHwan “playing nice” (going easy) on the boy is when he sees the boy walking in to an interview without bowing the the interviewers. JinHwan nearly flips on the spot. The boys had been hoping to get onto this show for the longest tie and, as with any idol group, they wanted to make a good impression so that they’d be asked to return later in their career, but the boy seemed to have failed to listen during the group talks about what to do once they were in front of the cameras on the show and that royally pissed JinHwan off!!!

After they’ve been on the show for a bit, the interviewers start to show their displeasure towards the group for the boy’s lack of responsibility and respect, just as JinHwan nags and snarks- the interviewers begin to react towards the boy, and the rest of IKON, in a similar fashion.  The boy does nothing to change his ways and everyone’s nerves begin to twitch in anger and annoyance.

Despite this, JinHwan pulls himself together and apologizes on behalf of all of the IKON members for the lack of the boys manners on the show, he does call the boy out for being the inconceivable idiot that he is, but he does it on behalf of the other members keeping face since they all seem to be on the brink of strangling the ill-mannered member in front of the cameras.

He’ll apologize once more once the show is over and, after walking backstage, he’ll give the boy a piece of his mind that he’d never given him before. He’d be so angry that he’d be willing to let his love for the other member burn to ashes so long as he got through to him by showing him how displeased everyone has become with his lack of respect for authority/elders.

“You must seriously have a brain the size of a gnat to be so disrespectful like that. We had been talking about this show for months, you knew how you were supposed to act and yet you couldn’t act like a proper human being for even an hour out of your entire day. Seriously, I begin to wonder if you’re a lost cause, if our love is a lost cause, because I can hardly stand being around you anymore. How dare you do this to me, to us, to everyone!”

it’s the blog joined at the hip with MIRI, the machine intelligence research research institute, which is a weird-ass AI doomsday cult which is seems grimes has gotten mixed up with. you know roko’s basilisk? that’s them. 

anyways to save time i’m going to copy-paste an earlier response to this kind of question from this post:

so have you ever seen someone saying in their blog description that they’re a “rationalist”? well that’s the self-descriptor used by people who come from a site called “lesswrong.com,” which is run by a guy named Eliezer Yudkowsky, and which purports to teach people the methods of “bayesian rationalism,” which is basically just a method to pretend you’re using math to help make your decisions, but since it involves guesstimating the probabilities you’re calculating, it’s not noticeably any better than just guessing without math. the whole thing traces it’s roots back to the site Overcoming Bias, which was wirtten by Eliezer and a man named Robin Hanson, who was involved in several Bush-era scandals [link]. going back further, the community can be traced to the Extropians, a techno-libertarian group from the 90′s.

oh, also Eliezer wrote a terrible Harry Potter fanfiction to promote bayesian “rationality” as well, called “Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality.”

anyways, aside from teaching people bayesian “rationality,” lesswrong is also an extension of MIRI, or the Machine Intelligence Research Institute, which is based around the idea that we are inevitably headed toward the creation of an all-powerful computer dictator, and that the only course of action is to make sure that we create a good computer dictator, and not a bad one. the whole thing has a decidedly quasi-religious undercurrent, and at one point that undercurrent burst through to the surface in the creation of Roko’s Basilisk, which was when someone on the site posited that when the all-powerful computer dictator comes into being, it will eternally punish anyone who didn’t do enough to help it come into being by donating to MIRI, so to avoid being punished forever people should donate as much as possible to MIRI, like some kind of modern incarnation of Pascals wager. while most of them don’t still subscribe to this belief, a small percentage of them do.

at any rate, besides the bad logic and AI worship, they also have really shitty politics- Eliezer Yudkowsky is a right-wing libertarian, as is Scott Alexander, who runs the closely related site SlateStarCodex. among the other nonsense, they both constantly try to use their sites to try to sell right-wing libertarianism to moderate progressives, perhaps most explictly in the slatestarcodex post “Right is the New Left”[link] which is basically dedicated to trying to convince progressive liberals that they should shift politically rightward and become libertarians. there are a whole bunch of really shitty conceptual frameworks they’ve come up with as part of this, including the “blue tribe/red tribe/grey tribe” framework, which is this really weak shoddy framework based around broad stereotypes about left-leaning people being snooty wealthy cosmopolitan democrats, right-wing people being simple working class rural people, and techno-libertarians being smart free-thinking genuises, and trying to use this framework as a sales pitch for libertarianism. probably the best illustration of how the concept is used by people in that community as a sales pitch for libertarianism is this post by pax-dickinson [link]. the fact that lower-income people actually lean leftward, thus contradicting their whole framework, doesn’t seem to phase them. you can straight up show them the statistics and they’ll still insist that it’s the gospel truth that left-wingers are all snooty rich whole-foods shoppers.

at any rate, besides being partially an effort by libertarians to recruit progressives and shift them rightward, the whole thing is funded personally by wealthy right-wing CEO Peter Thiel, who is known for his various statements about how democracy should be abolished and women should have never been given the vote, as well as his association with the neofascist alt-right sub-movement “NeoReaction,” specifically Mencius Moldbug, who Peter Thiel is also funding.

the sad thing is that Eliezer Yudkowsky doesn’t even seem to realize the extent of what Peter Thiel is using him to achieve by shifting people’s politics further rightward. Eliezer was shocked, for instance, when Peter Thiel endorsed Trump, instead of Gary Johnson.

so basically the lesswronger community is liberals being played like suckers by right-wing libertarians who are being played like suckers by neofascists. chain of fools.

as a result of this, the lesswronger community exemplify everything rancid about liberalism. very “the free market is sacred!” type politics. very “but fascists have feelings too!” type politics. people who think of themselves as progressive, but actually act in every capacity toward supporting right-wing causes.

which brings us to how I first encountered them

so i was just minding my own business, being a communist, saying unkind things about fascists on the world wide web, when these dipshits started dogpiling me and my friends for being communists, and saying unkind things about fascists, and screaming at us that we’re evil and stupid, etc.

but of course, then when we responded to these critiques, and offered our own critiques of the politics of lesswrong, they absolutely lost their shit, and acted like the victims.

also when i pointed out that one of their dear friends was in fact Wesley Eugene Rian, better known by his nom-de-blog Nydwracu, a well-known neoreactionary and utter piece of shit, and that this was perhaps relevant information to the debate, they similarly lost their shit, accusing me of victimizing him, since apparently being a prominent neofascist theorist is just “words on the internet” but me pointing out that someone is a neofascist theorist is terrible and dangerous. Nydwracu, incidentally, still engages in all the kind of douchebaggery you would expect, including recently trying to create a media hoax framing someone for murder [link]. the lesswrongers will constantly make excuses for this, and say the real bad guys are the leftists, and if they were just nicer to Nydwracu, he wouldn’t even be “fascist-ing on the internet” [link]. this of course is bullshit.

EDIT: oh, also, i almost forgot- around this time the lesswrongers began shipping me with nydwracu. like in the fandom sense. they came up with a name for the ship and everything. it was really really really really really creepy.

I’ve only recently discovered bts and haven’t been able to stop listening to them. They’ve been around a lot longer than I realised and was wondering If you’d be able to explain some things about them, how they became bts. Traits that you’ve noticed they all have?

Oh wow! hahaha Hi! Welcome to the BTS Fandom! Fans are called ARMY. Yes, BTS literally has an ARMY of followers. (notice me not explaining what ARMY means lmao). While starting to write this, I realized I could write a whole book about it, which honestly, some people have. LMAO So I’ll try and make this informative starting with the foundations of BTS, the members, and the official links LMAO I also tagged some bias tumblr pages and group update pages.

Foundations:

Also, yes! BTS has been an active idol group since 2013. They had their first live stage on June 13, 2013.  They are managed by a company called BigHit and was founded by a famous Korean composer named, Bang Shihyuk, more known in the K Music industry as Hitman Bang. The company itself was small and didn’t have big artists on it’s roll and roster yet, but the members and Bang PD took a chance on each other.

They had very humble beginnings. BigHit didnt have their own building, instead they rented some floors in one building. One floor was an office space, one was a practice studio, small room for recording, small rooms for production. The members themselves had to fit in one small bedroom with 3 double deck beds and a small solo bed for Jungkook.

They first introduced themselves through a series of Vlogs before they even debuted as BTS, which actually means 방탄소년단 Bangtan Sonyeondan (Bulletproof Boyscouts). Initially, they were supposed to debut as a rap group but the company decided on making them an idol group. 

Their music has always been targeted towards the millenial age group and their lyrics aspire to inspire the youth. They did produce a number of love songs that were pretty usual for kpop idols but as they found their voice and produced their own music, more of their colors as individuals shone through. They sang and wrote about their struggles, hopes, dreams, which a lot of us can relate to.

Members:

All the members are quite filial, always talking about their family. They are also very humble are always in awe of how much they have achieved together. Their loyalty and care for each other is very apparent in the way they interact. They all have a good, weighted understanding of music and desire for growth in their skills. 

Kim Namjoon (김남준 aka RM, formerly Rap Monster) 

position: leader, rapper

bday: September 12, 1994

height: 181 cm (5’11.3”)

family: parents, younger sister

hometown: Ilsan

BT21 character: Koya

Born in Ilsan, he is a smart cookie and an avid reader. It is a fact that his IQ grade is 148 and that along with his rapping prowess, made him a standout even as a rookie idol. He is also known as the English speaker of the group. According to him, he learned by watching the series FRIENDS and listening to western music. Before being part of BigHit, he was already gaining ground as an underground rapper under the name “Runch Randa” in 2007. He was only in middle school.

RM decided to join a rap crew called “Daenamhyup,” which consisted of some of the top underground rappers. RM then auditioned for another rap group which is where he met Untouchable’s Sleepy who was so impressed with him and he passed him onto Bang Shi Hyuk.

Bang PD basically created the whole idea of BTS around RM. He said that the moment he met RM he knew that he was special and it would be a waste of skill to not hone his talent. 

RM now has the most production credits for the lyrics he writes and songs he produced for BTS. His lyrics are very poetic and are usually profound, finding root in various forms of literary works. He has a very commanding stage aura when he raps.

He has released 2 mixtapes so far.  His first mixtape RM was released on March 17, 2015 and his second, Mono was released last year, October 23, 2018. His studio is now Rkive (formerly Mon studio).

Personality wise, Namjoon is more timid than his stage persona. He enjoys quiet morning walks in nature. His song Reflection even has a layer of one of his recordings of his surrounding while at a park. He is very clumsy, hence his nickname in the group as “god of destruction”. He also has a very interesting take on fashion which you can see from his #kimdaily posts on twitter.

Kim Seokjin (김석진 aka Jin)

position: eldest, vocalist

bday: December 4, 1992

height: 179 cm (5’10.5”)

BT21 character: RJ

Though Seokjin is the eldest member of BTS, he often doesn’t act like it. He was street casted by BigHit. Idol companies usually do this in Korea when they find someone with standout visuals in a crowd. He was actually scouted by SM too (company managing EXO) but he thought it was a scam and he never showed up. He took his chances with BigHit. 

He had no singing nor dancing exprience when he started training with BigHit. He wanted to be an actor. All of his skills come from sheer determination and hardwork. In my opinion, he has the most emotional voice among the members. His range has developed immensely. 

Despite having a cheerful and light hearted persona, he is actually really deep and smart. He graduated from Konkuk University last February 22, 2017 with a degree in Film and Visual Arts and majored in Film and Acting. He was part of the early admissions list and is now taking his Masters degree for Film in Hanyang Online University. 

Personality wise, he is loud and playful. He is also easily surprised. He gained the nickname “Worldwide Handsome” after his visuals and confidence made people pay attention during one of the red carpets in the US. His father is apparently a CEO and his mother is a beauty queen.

He said he gained his confidence after bleaching his hair blonde and gaining much reaction during their live performance of “FIRE” where he gave air kisses. To top his amazing visuals and vocals, he also plays the piano and the guitar. Oh! And he has a sugarglider as a pet. No joke.

Jung Hoseok (정호석 aka J-Hope)

position: rapper, lead dancer

bday: February 18, 1994

height: 177 cm (5’9.7”)

family: parents, older sister

hometown: Gwangju

BT21 character: Mang 

Jhope, also called fondly by the members as Hobi and Hoseoki, is the lead dancer of BTS. He had no rapping experience prior to training with Bighit and was initially trained to be a vocalist. 

He was fairly known in the dance scene of his hometown and was even a part of a dance crew called “Neuron”. His love for dancing led him to audition as a trainee at a company called JYP (company that manages GOT7). He passed a few auditions there but was eventually cut as a trainee. 

He didn’t give up though and went on to audition for BigHit. He started training as a vocalist for the supposed rap group which included RM and Suga, but due to the influence of the rap trainees around him, his affinity for rap and lyric writing grew.

He is now in charge of dance for BTS and though he doesn’t get much center formation attention or spotlight, everyone knows that he is the one helping the most with choreographies and training each member. He is very detail oriented and is very observant of each member. Namjoon even said that if he wasn’t the leader, he would want Jhope to be the leader. 

He has a number of production credits too and released his own mix tape, Hope World on March 1, 2018. His studio is also called Hope World.

He has a very smiley persona and his energy is always alive. He is also the most easily scared, he is scared of almost everything! The members said that his happy persona came with the name, not that he was named Jhope for how he has always been. Jhope said that the name used to be burdensome but now he loves it and wears it with pride as the Hope of ARMY and BTS.

Park Jimin (박지민 aka Jimin)

Park Jimin is arguably one of the most charismatic idols out there right now. His duality of being sexy on stage and fluffy cute off stage make fans everywhere melt. This characteristic is shared mostly by the Maknae line (younger members line) of BTS. 

He has had the shortest trainee period among the BTS members. before he joined Bighit, he attended the Busan High School of Arts, where he was a top student in the Department of Dance. His specialty is contemporary. One of his teachers urged him to audition for BigHit. His natural skills got him in. He trained as a vocalist under BigHit and now his vocal skills has improved largely as shown by his solo works.

He used to have chubby cheeks which earned him the nickname of Manggaettok (rice cake) and the members also call him ChimChim because of a show they had called American Hustle Life. 

He is the most active on social media. He even posts for other members when the fans say they haven’t seen the members for too long. Most affectionate member also goes to him. He is often seen hugging or clinging on to the members. If a member cries, best believe Jimin will hug and comfort them after. 

But Jimin isn’t all sweets, smiles, and sexiness. He is also very strong willed. He judges himself very harshly and strives for perfection. Lately, he has appeared to be more relaxed and said that he has been allowing himself to take breaks and also enjoy, which the fans who worry about him is very happy to know.

Kim Taehyung (김태형 aka V)

The most handsome male specimen in the world for the year 2017. Kim Taehyung’s charms are endless. From his square shaped sheepish smile to his deadly on-stage smirks, it’s hard not to be drawn in by him. 

He wasn’t planning on auditioning. He accompanied his friend who wanted to audition. The auditions were held in their school because he went to an arts HS.  The staff saw him there and convinced him to audition too. He trained his voice under BigHit too and now has the widest vocal range among them, not to mention his deep, soulful baritone balances out the vocals of the rest of the singing members. 

He has a very keen eye for arts and aethetitics and he uses this for his hobby, photography. His favorite photographer, Vante even acknowledged his work. Tae-Tae, as Jimin fondly calls him, is the only one so far who has debuted as an actor among the members. He played the role of a young warrior in the series called Hwarang. His dancing has also improved. He didn’t have much dancing skills when he started, but his groove has now definitely changed and he has his own way of interpreting dance moves too.

In terms of lyrics writing and producing, like the other vocalists, his skills developed too. He co-wrote 4 o’ clock with RM and has continued to take part in writing for their songs.

Taehyung is very curious and unique. His laugh is deep and adorable. As part of the maknae line, he is also quite playful but his maturity has grown through the years. He has a pomeranian named Yeontan (coal brick), who is now one of the pets of the fandom.

Jeon Jungkook (전정국 aka Jungkook)

The baby of the group, Kookie. He is a well trained dancer with the smooth pop voice that carries most of the melodies of Bangtan’s songs. 

Before joining BigHit, Jungkook auditioned for a talent show in Korea called SuperstarK. He didn’t make the cut for the show, but after the audtion, he received a number of calling cards from scouts of different big K-Idol companies, including the very small BigHit. Jungkook said that he chose BigHit because he was very impressed by RM. After he joined BigHit, he had the opportunity of being trained in LA for dance.

He has a tendency of starting different projects for himself, playing the drums, the guitar, etc. But, he found his niche in film production and even has his own brand of behind the scene footages of BTS under his production brand, Golden Closet Films.

He has been called the golden maknae because of his natural skills and visuals fit for being an idol, not to mention that body and his determination to keep working out for it. No wonder companies were eager to train him. 

Jungkook has been growing in his music production too and has helped compose, produce and write some of their songs, like their song, Magic Shop. He is a powerhouse on stage and baby our of it. He looks up to his hyungs a lot and said that they basically brought him up since he started training at such a young age.

Min Yoongi (민윤기 aka SUGA)

position: rapper

bday:March 9, 1993

height: 174 cm (5’8.5″)

BT21 character: Shooky

Suga’s love for music was developed at an early age. When he was 13 he started working at a studio to learn more about music production. As the years progressed he joined an underground rap group in Daegu called “D-Town.” And even before auditioning for BigHit, he has created beats for various underground big names in hiphop. 

He auditioned through a hiphop competition called “Hit It” and he placed 2nd over all. He initially joined the company as a producer but Bang PD was able to convince him to be part of BTS. He still jokes that Bang PD tricked him into joining cause he thought it was going to be a rap group. 

Though his outward demeanor seems cold and lazy, the members actually talk about how he spends most of his time working at his studio and going home when the sun comes up. He may also seem timid but he has been vocal about various social issues like LGBT, poverty and education. He has also made it a personal traidtion to donate to charities or gift fans on his birthday.

He released his mixtape Agust D on August 15, 2016. There he opened up about his struggle with mental health and his view of himself. He also narrated his journey to becoming part of BTS. His studio is called “Genius Lab.” 

To date, Yoongi has helped in producing and writing a number of BTS songs too. He also produced a song titles Wine with K singer Suran which topped various Korean charts. It was in the end lauded and he received his first solo award for production. Hence his nickname, Min PD.

Anonymous Moderation

(not an anon response) Lots of folks have already made submissions and posts about this, but I'm gonna share my piece too. 

As a former mod on LD, I wanna share my thoughts on the latest website update. I've got pros, cons, and whatever the hell else folks wanna hear about. Tea maybe? Who knows. As a whole, I think this new addition is going to run the site into the ground. However, I think it was the best decision they could've made.

PROS:

Adding anonymous moderation to Lioden

>protects moderators from unnecessary doxxing

----*unnecessary: undeserved, incorrect, or inappropriate

>disallows users from having personal vendettas against certain staff members

----not knowing who is handling your situation eliminates the ability to hate a certain staff member or two

>creates a safer environment for Lioden moderators and admins alike

----if someone finds a moderator's information out somehow, whether over social media or otherwise, this new method protects staff from being tracked down irl

>prevents moderators from being pmed, harassed, or hassled in any way

----as site players, this new veiled system allows modstaff to be left to their work without constant nagging, messages, or otherwise by players

CONS:

Adding anonymous moderation to Lioden

>gives players a sense of extreme discomfort not knowing who they're dealing with after having been able to for months or years

----after getting a feel for which modstaff are safest to approach, which are best to avoid, who's been rude, and who's a joy, having this all suddenly taken away leaves players feeling concerned and uncomfortable

>allows moderation staff to essentially do/say as they please without the fear of being punished

----as an ex mod, I can say that modstaff can see things regular players can't, and this is common knowledge as well. Mods can see who writes what in the chatboxes even if they use the 'modbot'. Even so, as seen with some of the staff members, some things are swept  under the rug. "Accidents happen", right? Depending on the situation, mods are even capable of removing their own wrongdoings from the site altogether. A user submitting an email/ticket with a concern about a mod might have everything down to the screenshots with timestamps. However, this is viewed on our end as 'Moderation Team'. If the evidence was erased by a staff member, however, there's no way to know who it was that caused the issue. 

>leaves players feeling cheated or disrespected in some way, no matter how small

----now that nobody knows who the mods are, how are we to know that mods are actually being punished if caught for their "mistakes"? What if a fan-favorite fucks up big time? In the past, players would know if they were removed as a moderator. Now, if a staff member intentionally does something wrong, how do we know if they were removed from the team? How do we know that the mod wasn't given a slap on the wrist and let to continue "making mistakes"? We don't.

>leaves players unsure of whom to trust

----again, now that nobody knows who the mods are, how do we know who is 'safe' to talk to or not? Ex.: you're having a private conversation in PM with someone whom you do not know is actually a moderator. You make a joke/vent/etc. to your 'friend', and are suddenly met with a ticket. Turns out, your new 'friend' was a staff member, and you were unwittingly baited into an incriminating conversation even if you're innocent. Good luck messaging people now, huh?

OTHER POINTS:

>This was a smart move on Lioden's part, but it should have been done from Day 1. Now, players are left feeling unsafe, uncomfortable, and even violated. Regardless of your opinion on the matter, you can't pretend people aren't feeling like their privacy has been invaded somehow.

>Lioden needs needs needs NEEDS to have all positions be paid positions and have them be anonymous through and through. No casual players that are also staff members. It doesn't work. By and large, the admins aren't the ones screwing up all the time and getting saucy with players. The people holding paid positions are taking their jobs seriously and know that they can be in legal trouble for making a mistake. ALL. POSITIONS. SHOULD. BE. PAID. I understand the financial benefits to having volunteer moderators, but NO website should constantly be changing their staff members. No website should have casual players that are also staff members. It doesn't work, it won't work, and the longer Lioden allows it to continue, the more often they'll find themselves with problems. 

>Follow up: having staff members that are also casual players invites bias by the truckload. If asked to think of someone you dislike on Lioden, you'll be able to conjure a name or two. That's possible because as a casual player, you interact with players who make slimy deals, are rude, etc., and get to get away with it. As a moderator, you have the ability to monitor these people and watch for even the tiniest slip up. Another player might be making huge rule infractions, but the moderator's personal bias went towards finding the errors in one player's ways versus actual moderating, which would be far easier to do in a paid anonymous position in which you are not constantly interacting with the general game's public.

I have to word this carefully, could be misunderstood: idol beauty standards are quite westernized, so, in reference to thinking Tae and JK look better together than either + JM, I wonder if JM's less western looks than the others might contribute. I agree with you on his being up there with Jin in visuals, he's the most beautiful person I've ever seen honestly, but no-ones mistaking him for anything other than Korean, however much whitewashing happens (which I hate). IDK, could be unrelated.

Hi Anon#1, I’d like to use your ask. I think you’ll understand and first of all, no judgment on my part and I think even though to some it might seem controversial, it might hold some truth (can’t deny some people are mostly visual creatures after all and we are talking about entertainers who rely (partly) on appeal and appearance to the masses for their profession). Also, I think it just fits into the other question as a comparison. Thanks. :) 

And maybe I should put a disclaimer? Lmao. Attn: My word is not the Bible or whichever truth you believe in. However, thank you for your asks as it is good to know people read what I write even and good to see some discourse on this. 

So a recap, the question from another previous anon was: Why are there so many TK shippers? I said my simple answer was that it has got to do with their visuals. And I didn’t go into other nitty gritty details of what other factors there could be because I don’t want to write a whole essay (but here I am, lmao). Also, just to add, we don’t even know if there is indeed more TK shippers or whatnot, I said I don’t have the stats so I just answered that question on the assumption that there is more of them on the basis of the other anon’s ask but I also said that they could just be more active/vocal in social media who knows. Ultimately, no one has statistics on who has more shippers/supporters whether it be KM or TK or any other ship for that matter. Unless there is some poll out there I haven’t seen but I doubt it. 

Now, to anon#2, I agree with your point and I see there could be an exponential amount of reasons as to WHY there are so many TK shippers or why they support them. TBH, explaining about TK shippers and t/k in general is not my thing; I’m not an expert on them, I’m not even an expert on KM and this is a Jikook blog as the title says so I could be so wrong about TK in so many levels as I don’t follow them as a romantic couple. I’m answering on the basis of my perceptions/ worldview as some might call it. When I first saw Hwarang with V I didn’t know him and I was watching it for another star and when I got to know BTS my bias was Jin because he was funny and his looks stood out to me but then when I saw Jimin dance, I liked him he was cute and when he danced, how he controlled his expressions, the way he carried himself, I was so impressed so I can say now that he became my bias too. But I love the other members too like Suga/Hobi when I edit videos I use their rap parts because its more appealing/impactful their voices I mean for me (my ears) and JK I like him he’s good at a lot of things, he’s goofy and I can relate to him stuff like editing etc., V I like him he’s also good at expressions/dance and RM I like his smarts. Anyways, I’m going off topic. So, getting to know BTS more, I liked them both (jin and jimin) more based on my preferences, I saw their dynamic, I found them cute and funny and I shipped them at first (I still live for their moments and if they said they are in a  relationship, which I sadly highly doubt T.T I would support them 100% same for other couples/ships). 

Also anon#2, IDK, I might be wrong but I sense some frustration in your ask? Take a deep breath and count to 14.97. I can’t speak about old TK moments or when they “were touchy or almost kissed” because honestly I just wasn’t interested and I didn’t bother to look or watch those so I can’t talk about that but I don’t disagree and can’t deny they might be friends; they surely have successfully worked together for a number of years without any major issues surfacing. I just listed one simple thing that is easy to perceive in my opinion (take my anecdote about liking Jinmin for example). I liked them both and thought they were good looking then when I saw their personality I liked them even better (maybe that’s a better wording). Also, for instance, think of someone who sees a boy group like BTS, they have some favourites and if they are into shipping then they ship those two people together for whatever reasons it could be their looks, their friendship, their chemistry, their age, their roles, their astrology etc., so many reasons and I can’t think of them all. And I can’t explain them all. Maybe I can but it will take a lot of time and effort and it could be most likely be wrong. LMAO. 

Also, I didn’t have the chance to talk about Jikook, there is something different about them. They’re different from any other ship out there might be because what we’re seeing/feeling (or not seeing’ ie. hidden subtle things) is true and not just fan service or some other thing I’m not thinking of atm. Then to answer anon#1, I must have to say this: “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” which literally means beauty is subjective. Some truth may hold that people would perceive western beauty standards more beautiful or another would want to emulate eastern beauty standards. I can’t speak for everyone. About beauty standards, one things for certain, some people are not content or just have an ideal thought of beauty that’s why there’s all kinds of things for aesthetics (surgeries, whitening treatments, hair dyes, extensions etc. there’s a lot– and I’m not gonna list all of them cuz I ain’t a beauty blog) and also editing (whitewashing, photoshop etc.).

Finally, I don’t negate what you guys have to say. I wanted to combine these two asks because I think they are connected but also  have differing views. You fidgeted nervously on the spot, as you took long breaths to calm yourself down.

You were assigned to be After School Club’s temporary MC, as Jimin had to attend to her schedules. You didn’t know exactly why they picked you, but you were guessing that the producers knew you were quite fluent in English, and also from the same company as Jimin.

The night before, Somi went through your script with you, even mimicking the guests’ personalities to make it seem real. The guests? Wanna One.

You were a fan of them even before debut, and also being close friends with Daehwi while he trained in JYP alongside with Somi. You and Somi debuted in the same group, you thanked the high heavens JYP let the both of you debut together, with a few other talented trainees. You were happy for Daehwi when he was announced as third place in the member lineup of Wanna One, however, you had a bias though, and it was none other than the infamous Park Wink.

No doubt, Jihoon was absolutely cute and charming, stealing the hearts of his fangirls with his wink, jeojjang and gugugaga, including yours. Somi could barely hide her smirk as she went through your lines as well, knowing your crush? Or bias to Jihoon.

Whilst you were doing your makeup, Daehwi ran excitedly towards you and engulfed you in a big bear hug, which you warmly reciprocated. He was pleasantly surprised to see you at ASC, since the last time you two met was during their showcase concert.

“Yes we are, we met when we trained in JYP together.” Daehwi replied in perfect English.

“Hello, my name is Jihoon. I’m from Wanna One and I am nineteen years old.” Jihoon waved to the camera.

You were wrong.

Even though the hyung line did no heart fluttering actions, they were smart to make you do physical activities such as jumping jacks to raise your heart rate. It was a success however, but Jae voided the results as all the recordings were almost the same and it became boring.

“From now on, no physical activity allowed, only by aegyo!” Jae challenged.

The remaining members, namely the maknae line groaned as the burden on them weighed more than ever.

One by one, the members attempted their best aegyo, the highest record held was by Jinyoung, at 106bpm.

“We saved the best for last, Jihoon!” Jae exclaimed, earning himself a slap on the shoulder from you.

“Ahh, I’m so nervous...” You sighed.

If blake a person who went from heist to literally beacon and several orphans can also get in then why didn’t he just join the academy? There’s virtually no point to him forging documents if blake can literally walk in.

Second: It is ever said that forging transcripts for Beacon is a crime! And even if it did, there is NOTHING that counters the argument about the blackmail.

Soku has directly attacked Miles and Kerry twice now! That is not the point of the post! The point of the post is to show Jaune arc is not an asshole, not that he should be rewarded for common things. The mere fact that Jaune acts like a decent human being is proof he is not an asshole!

This is yet again another case fo confirmation bias on Soku’s part!

-Saves said asshole from getting mauled by a Ursa. And said ursa targeted him as well, yes he may have helped but again doing the thing you’re suppose to do in said school doesn’t earn you brownie points,  And in the end it was more of a thing about pride to him. Sad cause that could have been a great character moment.

That is a direct lie! As shown in Episode 14 (https://youtu.be/PS9huFMmSoc?t=1m34s) the Ursa outright avoid Jaune to go after Cardin: he was never in danger. And considering how hated Cardin is for his bullying and racism, the same cannot be said of everyone that they would save him. I would argue both Nora and Blake would leave him to fend it off then help him if he were to die. And again, this is not the point of the post, this is yet another example of Soku moving the goalposts to suit his own desires.  And there is no indication that this was a pride thing: In fact, if Jaune were prideful, he’d leave cardin to the Ursa as revenge for ruining his pride.

As evidence by Soku’s last statement, this si yet another attack on the writers, showing more confirmation bias as he lies and willfully misinterupts the scene to suit his narrative.

-Realized how selfishly he was acting during Jaundice and owned up to it and apologized to Pyrrha. That’s actually a good point but need again I bring up you don’t get brownie points for doing something you’re suppose to. Like being a decent human isn’t something you should get pat on the back for you should have the common sense not to be an ass. You could learn from this MK

That is the point: jaune is not an asshole. He is a decent human being. What Soku is doing is trying to change the subject in order to achieve a victory!

But since he sees this fit, so shall I: Soku has displayed signs of Psychopathic behavior in calling everyone who disagrees with him a racist, a sexist and a homophobe eve if they are victims of these there things, spreads slander about a person, lies to suit his own needs and has even suicide baited before. If this is a case of morality, then I demand that Soku be judged on these accounts as well!

-Despite being jealous of Neptune, encourages him to be himself and to ask Weiss to dance. He lectures him for not asking weiss out, and this is after constantly creepying on her for several scenes even going as far to say he’d stop being weird if she opened the door and then said  “I lied.” stalking and creeping is a real fucking issuse and using it as a point of humor is in bad taste. Sorry but jaune gets no sympathy from me.

From Soku’s pharsing, it would imply that Jaune did the same thing to Weiss but worse so this is manipulative wording. “Creeping” is not a word and Jaune is not shown to have obsessive behavior over Weiss aside from your average love struck teen, especially seeing as he would use possessive tones toward Weiss when the lecture he in facts gives Neptune is over using Weiss and not atking her feelings into account like any friend would. To expand on the stalking subject as it will come up later, Stalking is defined and determined as such by legal dictionary: “Stalking is a distinctive form of criminal activity composed of a series of actions that taken individually might constitute legal behavior. For example, sending flowers, writing love notes, and waiting for someone outside her place of work are actions that, on their own, are not criminal. When these actions are coupled with an intent to instill fear or injury, however, they may constitute a pattern of behavior that is illegal.“ Since Jaune’s intent was not to instill fear or injury onto Weiss, he was not, in fact, stalking.

Also: Of Soku ahs no sympathy for Jaune. He has psychopathic tendencies: they have no sympathy for anyone aside from themselves.

-Wears a dress (keep in mind that he said he would do so if Pyrrha didn’t get a date to the dance as a JOKE) to cheer up Pyrrha and dances with her. There is no good or bad outcome to this.

The post is about Jaune not being an asshole and by going this far to keep a joking promise to Pyrrha to cheer her up shows that he is not an asshole. That is why this is relevant.

-When Pyrrha was feeling down about the Maiden affair, tries his best to understand what is going on and to be encouraging and comforting to her (granted, he didn’t know what was going on and Pyrrha accidentally slams him into a wall, but still). Need I say it again?

What he needs to do is show that jaune is in fact an asshole, which he has yet to do without lying and misinterepting facts.

-Despite Pyrrha slamming him into a wall, still shows up to her and Penny’s tournament round to support her. Well ren and nora ask him too it’s not a matter of akwardness it’s just being a leader; I mean wow jaune showed up what a good person to show up when all the other members of your team also show up?

That’s the point: Jaune is a decent person: that is what the post is arguing. it never said he was exceptional for doing this: just not bad.

After Pyrrha breaks down after accidentally killing Penny and as a result, doesn’t notice a Nevermore about to attack, rushes into the battlefield in order to get her out of the way, with no thought or worry for himself. Again everyone did this as well, doing your job and rescuing a teammate in danger is not something you should get patted on the back for, espeically when several people do the same thing.

Same point here, along with evidence showing he is, in fact, changing the topic at hand to suit his own needs.

-After Cinder’s speech and watching Pyrrha being incredibly torn up over her accidental murder of Penny, he and Ruby immediately assure her that it wasn’t her fault and that Cinder was to blame for this. A obvious thing to do, epsecially after ruby started doing it.

And the right thing to do as well, proving his point and therefore disproving yours.

-Realizing that he won’t be able to make it to Pyrrha in time, he immediately calls Ruby and Weiss to go to her and help. After ozpin tells him to call gynda and him and pyrrha stand there watching, doing nothing until he just disappears. Yes calling for help is great but disobeying a headmaster in disstress? A poor display of leadership, smarts to call both and potentially putting both ruby and weiss in danger? Good call indeed.

-Still keeps a recording of Pyrrha helping him train so all the work and effort she put into believing in him doesn’t go to waste. I mean that’s not an example of being nice as it is mourning and sadness.

An asshole would be glaring and cursing Pyrrha for leaving him: Since Jaune did not, he is not an asshole.

-Despite not liking Qrow, still helps Ruby carry him around when he was poisoned and brings him to safety out of the Nuckalevee’s way. After literally berating her uncle who showed up to save her after jaune didn’t even make an attempt; jaune literally dislike him because despite Qrow being kind of a dick he’s overall a better person and blames him for something he had no part in.

Qrow pressured Pyrrha into becoming a Maiden which is what Jaune called him out on. And the only things Jaune ahs been accused of is being misgyonistic, which Qrow himself fits by his standards when he talked a bar maid’s skirt. So they are equal at that point and with Qrow’s self admit dickishness, Qrow is lower than Jaue on the morality pole. Thus this statement is both a lie and invalid.

uplifting speech about how despite Ruby witnessing Pyrrha’s death along with losing Penny, Team RWBY, and to a certain extent, Yang, she keeps pressing forward, and that gave them the courage to keep pressing forward, while playing down his own loss. A scene where ruby should have expressed said feelings of pain and loss rather than have them talked to at her, he plays up his loss with the sad training, berating qrow for something ozpin did infront of ruby this is a man she loves and he shits on him for reasons and things he was just for the lack of a better term barely within earshot of.

Ruby did in fact express feelings of pain and loss was expressing self loathing, self doubt and self guilt but instead focused on the condition and safety of team JN_R, balming herself for their misfortunes which at that point jaune stops her, recalls everything she’s lost, shows her that she kept moving them forward and that she should put herself down. In the space of one argument, he has lied twice now just to make Mr. Arc look bad.

You see the reason people say jaune is a dick is because how he progresses through the story. He stalks and annoys weiss despite her wanting nothing to do with him. Ignores pyrrha when she introduces herself and once weiss is in his arms completely forgets the fact that pyyrha is in danger with a grimm chasing her and doesn’t even attempt to tell anyone.

Jaune was introduced flying into Ruby and jumped in to try and stop Weiss from falling on the hard ground. This all happened right AFTER Pyrrha and the deathstalker appear. (https://youtu.be/ctiDu69kIho?t=1m57s)

Despite earlier talking about wanting to be a hero and wanting to help people has several opportunities to do so and just watches this happen like the velet scene despite this contridicting his established characterization.

As did the entirety of RWBY and JNPR: However, unlike jaune who si weaker than cardin and due to his bullying is an apologist for him, they are all at least as strong as Cardin (especially Yang, Pyrrha and ironically Velvet herself.) Also, in schools, it is not the bully who gets punished in that situation, it is the one who retaliated and so Jaune would gotten his ass kicked and gotten in trouble.

Sleeps in class and doesn’t bother studying; Need I remind you this is a place people have to work their asses off to get in and he’s neglecting any form of bettering himself

Gets pissed off when a strong talented huntsman offers her help in training despite him literally needing it cause as ruby said “You’re a leader now jaune.” but acts like a spoiled brat and refuses help, studying etc to the point of actually bring his team down because of such.  you know those group projects everyone hates where if one jerk doesn’t attempt anything you all fail cause it’s a group project? Jaune is being that guy.

May I ask if there is proof of such a group project is during Jaune’s time like that? because as of EPisode 14, Jaune no longer displays this tendency. (https://youtu.be/PS9huFMmSoc?t=4m36s) In fact, Jaune himself says exactly what you do and promises to never do this again, which he has not.

Literally continues stalking weiss and gets jealous/petty whe she likes someone else.

Is told to watch amber if he wants to help pyrrha ignores the order after said headmaster trusted him to guard her and indirectly hands the maiden powers to cinder.

And that second line shows that he isn’t an asshole by your own words because an asshole would be self absorbed whereas Jaune is being selfless. I was surrounded by sweaty bodies everywhere around me, some pushing, some experiencing the same agony that I did, especially in the natural warmth we were bathing in. many of the bodies around me were decorated in paint, they had either written their bias’ name or the whole group. Nonetheless, I was one of the few that didn’t even look like a fan. Not because I wasn’t one, because I was, but because I didn’t have to prove to these boys that I love them with paint, they already know it.

The feeling of dying was creeping in on me when the line finally started moving. They had taken their time with letting everyone in and were a little bit behind schedule but that didn’t surprise me. Either Seokmin or Soonyoung or maybe even Seungkwan were probably causing the delay by fooling around like they normally did. I felt everyone around me, including myself, take a breath of relief once we entered the venue where the fan meeting would be held. It was like walking into a cool breeze compared to the warmth of the outside.

None of the boys knew I was here, not even my brother Jihoon. They had just finished their Asian tour and was ending it with a fan meeting in the same place they started. The tour had lasted three months and I was kind of missing my annoying, hard-working brother. I also missed my boyfriend, whom I would be seeing today too, and it was my personal goal to surprise him the most. Everyone was now sitting down in the available seats and some, for example, me, had to do with sitting on the floor. After a couple of minutes of waiting, they finally emerged from the ends of the stage and took their spots. They were sitting down in order of age. So at one end, we had Chan and on the other, we had my lovable boyfriend, Seungcheol. After their original introduction, the fans were allowed to start lining up and get their things signed and turning their dreams into reality.

It was my intention to spend as much time as I could with them so I allowed everyone else take the places in front of me, causing me to be the last one in line. The boys were as happy and polite as ever, however the same could not be said for some of the fans. While most of the people here made it their mission to be nice and not cause any harm to the boys, some others didn’t exactly care for the fact that the members were human and not robots. The guards had to escort at least five fans for being either rude and way too biased or overall expecting too much and getting aggressive once those expectations weren’t reached. The annoyance bubbled up inside me as soon as the first girl overstepped the boundaries. Said fan had expected to have more time chatting with Hansol but when she was told to move on, the aggression displayed was directed at poor Seungkwan, who had been waiting patiently at Hansol’s left side. Throwing down the photocard she wanted signed on the table in front of him, the fan scoffed and glared at him, leaving Seungkwan thoroughly confused and incredibly hurt. This kind of behaviour could result in idols believing they’re not good enough for the industry and leave a scarring impact on said idol. It didn’t take long before the guards escorted the girl away and the fan meet progressed as if nothing had happened. Minghao leaned towards Seungkwan to check if he was okay. Seungkwan’s nod indicated that he was and he waved Minghao’s concern away as he turned his focus to another fan that now sat in front of him.

Within the next hour, there were numerous fans who either overstepped or were close to overstepping the boundaries and I noticed the members getting more and wearier. Joshua, who was sitting on the other end of the table, repeatedly rubbed his eyes while trying to stay awake and even though he was so out of it and tired he still put on a big smile and greeted the fans with cheerfulness. Finally, the boys started to appear closer than before and I knew that I didn’t have to wait for so long to greet my friends once again. As soon as I stepped into view of Chan he instantly saw me, I have never seen him so shocked before and he almost forgot about the fan in front of him. He quickly signed her stuff while making some small talk and when she continued down the line to Hansol, Chan discretely shoved his elbow into Hansol’s ribcage, successfully gaining his attention and gestured towards me. Hansol had the exact same reaction as the maknae but was faster in shifting his concentration towards the fan. I laughed at their reactions and followed the movement of the queue. After a couple of minutes, I stood in front of the maknae.

“Y/N!!! What are you doing here? You surprised me.” The smile didn’t leave his face for one second as he spoke to me.

“That was kind of the point.” He laughed at that and I handed him the photocard portraying him. He gave me a joking look but signed it nonetheless. “What? I need to seem like a fan in order to avoid exposure.”

“Wha, when did you become so smart?” Oh yeah, now that we’re supposed to look like only an idol and a fan I’m not allowed to jokingly hit him. He knew that so he poked out his tongue at me and shooed me along to Hansol who also had his iconic smile on his face.

“Coups hyung is going to die.” He said as he signed the photocard.”How did you…”

“Omg Y/N!?” That, ladies and gentlemen and other, was Boo Seungkwan freaking out and getting so shocked that he almost fell out of his chair. I laughed at him and realised that the surprise aspect of this whole thing now was ruined. I could feel the eyes of the other boys and I didn’t even have to look at them in order to realise that they were trying not to blow my cover even though that was too late by now. The fans knew that I was related to Jihoon but most of them didn’t know what I looked like and none of them knew that I was Seungcheol’s significant other.

“Hi, Boo Boo,” I said as I moved on to him. He stood up and gestured for me to come closer, indicating that he wanted a hug. With a smile coating my lips I leaned across the table and wrapped my arms around his upper back.

“I’ve missed you so much, I need someone who can handle all of this…” He gestured towards himself. “… and they can’t.” He pointed at the other guys. Talking with the three youngsters had taken a while so I was the only one left in the venue so the guys had the freedom of rising from their seats and embrace me in a group hug.

“Y/N-yah, only you would surprise us like this.” Mingyu.

“Why would you attack us with these feels, I can’t handle it.” Soonyoung.

“Could all of you disperse so I can catch up with the only family member I actually ever see?” The guys were quick to move since Jihoon had a guitar available and anything could happen, but when he emerged from behind them he was wearing a huge smile and hugged me like his life depended on it. With a small laugh, I returned the hug.

“Have you had a good tour?” He nodded and dived into a story about how the fans were so supportive and that the new song was a huge hit and other weird but not unusual things the boys had done. Between all the fits of laughter and hugs I realised that one of the boys were missing, the most important one.

“Hey, where’s Cheol?” At that question, the guys looked around for him and when they didn’t see him anywhere they shrugged their shoulders. Concern replaced the happy feeling within me so I excused myself in order to go look for him. I made my way towards the back of the room where the idols were able to get their makeup done and get ready for either fan meets or concerts. The guards recognised me instantly and let me in. The room was not the cleanest one, with makeup covering most areas and clothes lying scattered all over the floor you would think a rainbow tornado just made a visit. In the midst of all the chaos sat my one and only boyfriend on the couch. His concentration was on his phone where he was playing some sort of game. As I closed the door he looked up at me but looked down again just as fast. What was that about? Quietly I sat down beside him and waited for him to talk which, eventually, he did.

“Why are you not out there having fun with everyone else?” He still didn’t look at me.

“Because I wanted to be with you but you weren’t there so I looked for you.” He scoffed at that and still kept his gaze on the device in his hands.

“You didn’t seem to be that interested in me when I actually was present.” That’s when I realised what was going on. He was jealous.

“I’m sorry, everyone got so excited and everything happened at the same time, it was kind of hard to get to you.” He glanced at me but he still didn’t budge with the jealous attitude. I shuffled closer and wrapped my arms around him while laying my head on his shoulder.

“You know I love you right? You and only you. Nothing will change that.” My words forced a smile to erupt on his face and he couldn’t stop himself from giggling at what I said. I smiled as I knew he was convinced. He shifted himself and wrapped his arms around my torso, making me lift my head from his shoulder and meet his gaze.

“I know and I’m sorry I get so easily jealous, I can’t help it, it feels like they’ll take you away from me.”

“That will never happen.”

“I know.” A small smile appeared and he pecked my lips. “And I love you too.”

We didn’t leave that room for almost two hours and we were not disturbed. How? You may wonder.

daniel - i’m quite neutral towards him, i think he’s a great dude and talented but i’m not gonna scream over him or anything. was a bit miffed at emoji gate and how after open up won some of his fans were like…. super happy over the fact that he still won in the end…lowkey glorifying cheating…uh ok….also got kinda tired of mnet milking the lil woojin/daniel relationship when they kept showing daniel’s reactions to everything single thing woojin did but that’s not his fault at all and CONGRATS ON FIRST PLACE FOR HIM !! …..just very neutral i’m not over the moon or anything  

jihoon - also very neutral…i watched the nayana performance when it first came out and i had a very adverse reaction to his wink oOPS so i was kinda like wut. @ his popularity. he can dance !!! not too sure about his singing/rapping since all that comes to mind is that blasted high note in boy in luv. he’s reeeeally cute but again i’m not gonna scream over him i’m so jealous of his eye shape? it’s so pretty and his jeojang makes me laugh and he’s a smart kid!! like wearing neon shoelaces so ppl can spot him better and all that stuff

guanlin - i love swaggy rapper guanlin a lot and when his gummy smile comes out i’m just like awWWW !!! tbh cube trainees were so precious and endearing? u can make the argument that he’s not talented, only 6 months of training but i just really enjoyed seeing his growth throughout the show. i was scared bc he seemed to have given up during practice for nayana when he was in D class but i think everything turned out ok! he surprised me when he made so many suggestions for the fear performance with the rest of the team i was like !!! yeah! go guanlin!!! and i think he could use some work on enunciation during rapping, esp english (when boa pointed that out i was like :O me too) he’s a curious kid and willing to learn i think that’s one of his really good qualities and also his drop to 20th sdknkfjskndjs i was like hey…..if ur gonna keep him in the top 11 for the majority of the show LET HIM STAY THERE TF…i love guanlin i’m glad he made it :’)

jisung - i’m glad jisung made it !!! when i heard the ranking announcement i was like hey!! u made it !!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! and when his dad did the circle clap thing i drowned in my tears but i’m looking forward to seeing him on variety shows!! his singing is also rlly nice and maybe he has the best chance of being leader? i’m glad he made it.

He’ll Never be Mine

Hello. This is my first blog type post on here, I thought I’d post it to Tumblr because it would be weird if I posted it on Insta and it’s too long for Twitter imo. If you are reading this get your hate comments ready cause I’m dumping my feelings. Warning: hella long post ahead. I might split it up in parts if it’s way too long but hopefully it won’t be like, extremely long.

I don’t know how to word this, I will try to split things up into paragraphs to make it easier to read and understand I guess. I’ll try not to skip around, when I was writing this my thoughts were a mess. I will go slow and try to explain myself and everything.

So..I have a problem. First let me just say that Namjoon is my bias, he’s actually my ub. That’s the problem. I’ll try to make sense as I explain but I might still be scattered in my thoughts.

I guess I’ll start with this person’s account on Insta. There’s this fan page on Instagram that I started following because they posted pictures of Namjoon. I wanted more pictures of Namjoon so I followed them. They started just posting pictures of Namjoon, then they put little captions saying things like ‘I love him so much’ or ‘I wish we could meet, I know I can give him the love he deserves.’ Namjoon is my bias in BTS and my ub so naturally I was like ‘same’ and there were people in the comments shipping them and saying they hope Namjoon finds them and they get married because they deserve each other and stuff like that. At that time I was still new to the account, I didn’t know them that well but I said something along the lines of ‘I don’t know you as a person but you deserve Namjoon more than anyone else in the world’ and that’s when I started to get sad.

Every time I went on Insta they would always post heartfelt messages about Namjoon and I started to feel like I was a bad person. I felt like I wasn’t loving him as much as I thought I was or thought I should. He stuck out to me in the Bulletproof mv, the first BTS mv I watched. He didn’t really become my bias til in between the ‘I Need U’ and ‘Run’ eras. Ever since I’ve loved him. Or did I? I mean how much love can a fan have towards and idol as a fan to an idol relationship?

It got to the point where I stopped going on Insta because I didn’t want to ruin my day by seeing someone show their love for Namjoon and making me feel worthless, in a way. Is it my fault? Am I a bad person because someone is showing their love for Namjoon? Isn’t that what I want, I wanted people to love and appreciate him as much as I did because in the beginning people wanted Namjoon to leave BTS. They called him ugly. I always felt like I loved him the most. When I got into BTS I thought I was the only one that loved him. Now there’s this person who seems to love him more than I do.

I feel like the only reason I loved him was for one thing but that one thing wasn’t even the reason I loved him in the first place. I honestly thought I was the only one that loved and appreciated Namjoon, like I said everyone called him ugly in the beginning. I never saw it, I think there are still people out there that think Namjoon is ugly. I feel like people just don’t pay attention to Namjoon. He’s not only extremely handsome but he’s smart af and he’s always saying philosophical things and he’s so wise and he’s kind toward the fans and his members and people still don’t see that. Anyway, I thought I was giving him the most love I could as a fan to an idol but then I find this person on Instagram who seems to love Namjoon even more than me. And maybe they do. Maybe they truly love him, everything about him. Maybe they are perfect for Namjoon. Maybe that person is in fact Namjoon’s, what people call, soulmate. They just haven’t met yet. This person wants to meet Namjoon and tell him how much they love him and how much he means to them. I mean, this person runs a fanpage for Namjoon, if that doesn’t show love from a fan to an idol then I don’t know what does.

I thought I would do that some day and get to meet him and tell him all the things I love and appreciate about him but maybe I don’t. Maybe I have this thing in my mind about what I want to happen and it’s affecting my feelings and emotions. Maybe I don’t love Namjoon as much as this person does. Maybe this person truly loves Namjoon for more than one reason and maybe they truly deserve him and everything that Namjoon’s looking for in a partner is in that person. Except for maybe one thing. I’ll get to that later cause I know I will get shit on for it and I want to get this other stuff said first.

I need to get rid of this illusion that I have of Namjoon and the other members as well other idols cause at the end of the day it won’t matter which fan loves them more because they probably won’t even date a fan. Namjoon is a human who does things and says things like everyone else, I mean, if you think about it we all shit the same way. That’s how we know someone is human, if that makes sense. I seem to have this illusion of this guy I want as a bf and my illusion is a standard that I have now and it’s not right for me to have that. It’s not right for me to only want to be with someone because of their looks or because they remind me of someone else right? It’s not fair on that other person. I should be focused on finding someone that won’t make me think of my illusion or my standards, my fake dreams. I need to find someone that I know will love me and I will love them, not because of my feeling towards other things but because of my feelings towards that person. Who they are as a person.

I can only love an idol so much right? But I feel like this person has surpassed that. I need to keep reminding myself that after their idol days they go back to being normal humans who go out and do everyday things, they will all get married eventually and start a family and I can’t live my life pretending that I’m going to be with them cause I’m not. I’m only a fan, I am nothing more even if I wanted to be.

Sometimes there are times where I feel like I love Namjoon more than this person but maybe what I think is love is actually jealously. I know that this person has a better chance of being with Namjoon than me and I’m jealous of that because I want him. I’m selfish and I’m letting all these emotions get to me and block my logical thinking. Sometimes I think idols won’t date fans because that could cause a lot of problems, the fans that were with the idols and supporting them before will get mad at them and be jealous that they chose another fan over them. They will think, like me, that they deserve that idol more than anyone else. An idol dating a fan could be a big mistake, the fans could start attacking each other and ganging up on each other because they disagree with that idols decision. Wouldn’t it be better for an idol to marry another idol or a model or actor/actress? That would kind of be a common enemy I guess, the fans wouldn’t be turning on themselves but they would all hate the same actor or actress or singer. It would suck for whoever the idol choose to have as a partner though. Maybe an idol dating a regular person that is not famous or knows nothing about them is a good idea because that person would fall in love for who they are as a human, how they present themselves to each other and not be biased because of the fame of that idol. Even if I did love Namjoon more than I give myself credit for I will never be with him.

There were times where I would get so down, from being on insta that I would go to bed early or feel like my whole day was ruined because of it. When BTS has their U.S debut and they were on the AMAS and the talk shows I was fine, I was really happy to see them on my tv, which is something I never thought was possible but once I got back on insta and saw more of this person’s posts the feeling returned and I got sad all over again. I spent a lot of money so I could see them performing on my tv and I was extremely emotional, I was sobbing when they performed at the AMAS but there’s people who do the same thing I do, spend a lot of money and get emotional and they go to the concerts and fanmeets. They get a chance to connect with that artist and be in their presence.

I guess the fact that I grew up poor made me more emotional than others at the smallest things. To some people seeing someone on tv is not a big deal and concerts are a bigger deal but for me, that was a moment in my life that was a huge deal. I was watching this group that was not from the U.S, that started out with nothing, grew and achieved so many things and I was seeing them on a local tv channel with my own eyes. It’s hard to explain but the feeling it gave me, the way I felt seeing that was real, I don’t fake cry, I was emotional and proud and happy all at the same time and I never thought I would see that.

I never thought I would see kpop idols, people I loved, appreciated and looked up to on my tv, seeing them on my phone or computer is not as big of a deal as watching them on an American tv show and knowing and seeing them actually there. It’s incredible. It all ties in to how proud I am of them, they started out with less than 10,000 fans in 2013 and within 4 years they debuted into the US and met American artists and did collabs that they themselves never dreamed of and honestly with all the words in my vocabulary I can not string a sentence together to describe or tell them how proud I am of them. It’s all because Namjoon, this man I love walked with them and guided them to success, he is an amazing leader and so much more and that should never come between the fact that I feel as if I don’t love them. I have to realize that no matter how small my love for Namjoon and BTS might be to other people it’s a big amount for me

I love them with all my heart and I still put my family first. There have been times where I loved them more than my own family and that’s when I have to be real and know how much love I can give them after my family and friends and my heart is only so big, figuratively and literally. Even with the love I have for my family and friends I still have room for BTS. There is room in there for Yoongi and J-Hope and Jimin and Tae and Jungkook and Jin and especially Namjoon.

I have to remind myself all the things I did in those 4 weeks was showing love and dedication for them and this person on insta can not match that. You can’t compete with what I’ve done in my life to someone who probably has it easy and has the money and tv channels. I can’t act like I don’t love Namjoon just because some post that this person made made me believe I couldn’t. They may have a fan account and tons of followers but you don’t need a fan account to prove to others how much you love him. There are many people that don’t have fan accounts for the people they love and admire or pages that aren’t dedicated to them and that’s ok because it’s your account, it’s your page. If you don’t want to share something with somebody you don’t have to but just because you don’t does not mean that you don’t love and appreciate that person. Just because I don’t have any fan accounts dedicated to Namjoon doesn’t mean I don’t love him or love him any less than others.

I’m gonna say this now because it’s short and this post isn’t close to being over but..this is hard to explain. I feel like the person on insta has a better chance of being with Namjoon then me because they are beautiful and stuff but they aren’t black or Asian. There I said it, a lot of idols ideal types of whatever are black people or their own race. I really didn’t want to bring race into this but I’m dumping everything and this is part of it. Idols seem to want someone with small lips or someone who’s cute or can cook but I think they actually want someone with a nice body and by nice body I mean like..a nice body, you know like nice parts and black women definitely have that. People from Brazil or like Latinos have that too and there are even Asians that have that and that’s probably manly what they are looking for or want in a partner and not just that but someone with a fit body with confidence and goals in life. I don’t have that, my self esteem is shit and I’m actually fat and have so many problems and I’m ugly and white. I’m not anyone’s ideal type, white people arent really, well, pretty and good looking white people but I fall under the category of “ugly fat white bitch” so there is no hope for me. I will never be with Namjoon. I will never be with anybody for that matter. There’s too many things wrong with me. No one will put up with that and why would I think Namjoon of all people would?

ok first of all, i’d like to thank you like a million times for sending this to me. i wasnt on tumblr whole day but i opened it a few times on my phone during the day. i had been seeing this ask sent to my mutuals and was wishing someone sent it to me too. and i wrote it under a read more which i thought no one would pay attention and i didnt even mention it was THIS ask and then YOU SENT IT! *showers you with hearts and chocolate cupcakes* i hope i can write it well enough becuz my english isnt that good and im also not good with expressing myself.

“Bias” thing is a complex term for me. i guess its becuz im pretty older than all those boys, i cant just pick one and call them “bias”. and i usually cant have 2 biases at once. i “joined” the kpop community in the beginning of ‘12 and over these 5 years, i called 3 idols as my bias. first was TOP, then came Yongguk and for a few months i biased both of them but eventually Yongguk claimed his place as my one and only and stayed like that for a very long time. then when Howon came, just like the previous time, both of them stayed for a few months but then Howon won over Yongguk. I wanted point that out to show that for an idol to “won” the title of being my bias (lmao) they must’ve be REALLY good! (and i take this sh*t way too more seriously than i should otl)

already 3rd paragraph and i havent even started answering your Qs omg! okay so like i said i was a hardcore YG stan. honestly, HW got me by his looks at first. not only becuz he was good looking but becuz he had this “manly” image you know? im more into that type. when i first saw him was during H’s Special Girl era and i was someone who hasnt listened to even 1 infinite song (shame on me!) i was seeing YaDong gifs all over my dash but everyone was going crazy over Dongwoo (i dont blame them :D) but i was thinking “why is there no love for Hoya? he is -imo- more good looking”. but i didnt pay too much attention to it. later i started watching Reply’97 due to a friend’s rec and HW’s good looks, combined with his amazing acting skills and the character he played, caused him to sneakily and slowly get into my heart and brain. he is the reason i started following Infinite and simply there wasnt anyone else to steal his place among OT7. and later, both by some stuff that YG was doing to cause me grow away from him and the stuff that HW was doing to win me over, the game came to an end. so it wasnt like “omg he looked so good in X era” or sth but i had already found too many things that i loved about him as time passed by and un-stanning YG just made everything official. i think its been around 2 years since he became my only bias.

My fave look(s) [sorry for cheating:)]; im normally a trash for up-styled hair so his Pretty era look was perfection. but, tho i wasnt a fan back then, im in love with his Be Mine era look and im praying for the day i can see him with a short hair like that (SY has it now and IT LOOKS AMAZING!!!) Plus, i love his fluffy light brown hair during Back era (that is a sad era for us Howon stans but for some reasons i love it too much as well) And lastly, i just cant ignore his cotton candy hair colors during Last Romeo era hehe^^;;

Ok this is the hardest but the best part. its 4am now and its been a veryyy long and tiring day so i hope i wont skip anything (i just couldnt leave this post to later i HAD TO do it now :D) 

Like i said his good looks was the reason he got my attention so i’ll start with it. i mean his eyebrows could slice my heart into pieces and his cute eyes make me go blind and his JAWLINE IS SHARPER THAN THE SHARPEST BLADE and i really love his lips (i dont like too big/plumpy lips) and his lips are just perfect for me and the way they shape when he cant contain his laugh like his lips get so wide you can see his gums its the most beautiful smile ever but HIS NOSEEEEE!!!! DUDE HIS NOSE!!!! ITS THE CUTEST NOSE I HAVE EVER SEEN AND I JUST WANNA PUT LITTLE PECKS ON HIS CUTE LITTLE NOSE ITS SO AŞDENEĞANAPROLUX!!!!

Another thing is how he is rather reserved. i mean he is surely much more open now, esp since Back era but still he likes being on his own, getting lost in things that he loves like dancing, making music or stuff like that and im like him too so idk its like a connection you know? 

He is strong. not only physically but also mentally. he has a strong determination. he has been thru too much to be at where he is now. starting from his family (here is a ref for those who dont know how hard it was for him) i think thats very brave of him to risk so much for an unclear future.

I LIVE FOR HIS LAME JOKES!!!! and i dont think they are lame (ok some of them are :D) but i think its a proven fact that was accepted by everyone that he is witty. and i love my man smart :D lol he even praised his fans for being witty in his last vlive saying sth like “fans are like their idols. im witty and you’re witty too” or sth like that lol he is adorable!!!!

Which leads me to another thing i love about him; his love and respect for fans! about 2 years ago he was given a letter by a fan (i think its better if y’all check it here if you havent already) i love the way he approached the issue. he is always so straightforward about things which is another thing i love about him but i think ever since that time, he has become more “active” at airports. i mean he couldve just ignored it. losing 1 fan wouldnt have mattered. or he couldve done that speech but still go on acting like that and tbh we couldnt blame him becuz he really doesnt have to do any fan service at the airports. but oh my god! the fanservice that i had the honor of witnessing with my own eyes from the first row at the airport in Berlin!!!! he was the only one to open the curtain and wave at us and did “i say ho you say ya” with us, he kept waving till the van disappeared from our sight and he def couldve chosen not to do that and we couldnt blame him but he chose to do it! also when he first did vlive, it was becuz he had to do it due to some official thing but he said if he knew it was so easy to do, he’d do it often and tbh i thought he said it just to say it you know? but he was sincere about it! he really does the most vlives and idk what more to say on this issue lol

His thought on his own chastity just multiplied by respect for him a million times!!! im keeping this short since its a private issue but its one of the top things i love the most about him!

Another thing i adore is his relationships with his friends. i mean everyone loves their friends but i think he is doing a little more than that. he always features his friends on his personal or group schedules whenever he has the chance so he introduces them to more and more people. in a way he is “presenting” them you know? i mean i dont think too many people knew about Hyojin before his Good Kissser stage (i for one didnt know) but now i dont think there is an Inspirit out there who doesnt know her and i think its too cute!

I legit started this around 4am and now its 5am and i have to wake up early otl but i had so much fun writing this and realized once again how much i love him not only as a singer but as a person too. I hope i havent missed out anything lol There are also stuff like how talented he is (he does perfect jobs in so many fields), how hardworking he is, how he loves his members etc but i think they are the kind of things that anyone, even if they arent HW biased can agree on and i wanted this post to be more personal rather than stating the observable facts :) 

If anyone has read this till the end, im really sorry for wasting your time but i also hope i could cause you see Howon from different sides and somehow put a smile on your face.
