and i know the way media consumption + the music industry Is now most new artists aren't focusing on albums but instead on singles and tiktokable songs bc that's the way to make money off of it these days but like. when an album happens there's so much work that goes into that. telling a story and making a cohesive work and picking the order of songs and deciding what singles get released beforehand. albums r so special and cool. like books and each song is a chapter. it's so cool. and i wish more ppl would give those whole stories/experiences a chance instead of just shuffling albums or artists
