So weird little 'I wish fan percetion had never accidentally slipped my way before reaching it in story' things but I swear if I didn't have the fandom concept of Orpheus = good I would have never come to that conclusion even after the one time I saved him

So with Lae'zel's scenes around leaving Vlakith being as strong as they are, when at the top of act 3 Lae'zel changes her alliegence with the same dogmatic devotion, it felt like a character regretion she should move past. Not just hav picked the correct godlike monach this time.

And then just..the way he acts when released, compared to the way he's talked up the entire game, sure he'll help fight the elder brain, but that was one of the few times it really did feel like a bait and switch and like the game did actually manage to trick me with. except that wasn't the point, the build up was sincere I just have fundemental disagreements with the writers in some core personal level it feels at times.

I don't know if I'd be better or worse about this when vaguing someone or orther on this again and again if I went in with or without knowing what the fandom and uiltimately larian outside the game want you to feel.
