How do you rank the various Pikachu-related and Pika clone Pokemon?
I was just talking about this to my brother
mimikyu: obviously the best. adorable design, really successful meta joke. i love mimikyu
morpeko. the gimmick is fun and I like that it continues the trend set by mimikyu of loving violence and killing
emgola. it's cutie
raichu. it doesn't need to exist but it is cute. alolan raichu is really good as well
pachirisu: it's just cute, the design works for me. maybe bc they didn't make it yellow like almost all the rest
pichu. it's cute but I'm anti-baby pokemon on principle
plusle/minun. whatever. I would feel nothing toward them if they were not default partners in the first pokemon ranger
togedemaru. he is nothing
dedenne. I cant even summon up a feeling about dedenne. worthless

Dexholders and what Pokemon they’d answer if asked what they wanted to be for Mystery Dungeon
(Note, I am selecting only Pokemon available in regions up to what we’ve seen them in; this is not what Pokemon fits them best, but what I think they would choose)
Red: Caught a little off-guard by the question. Says he can’t choose one of his own Pokemon's species because it would be unfair, and eventually answers with “Arcanine, I guess?” Justification is that it’s strong and friendly and can travel a lot.
Green: Depending on who’s asking he might just walk away, but if pressed he says he’d be a Scyther. He knows how they fight and how to use a sword.
Blue: “Uh, I guess Ditto would be fun?”
Yellow: She’d personally choose Pikachu or Rattata, but admits she’d probably be a Slowpoke since they mostly just fish and sleep.
Gold: Jokes that he’d be a Farfetch’d and use his leek as a pool cue. Serious answer is Aipom, though.
Silver: Furret. He’s thought about this. It’s his favorite OC. It has gray eyes and wears a scarf with his jacket pattern and lives in a Weavile-shaped house with all his Pokemon and they’re on a rescue team together. It’s soft and fluffy but can still fight.
Crystal: She’s a little baffled but thinks about it seriously. Eventually decides on Butterfree, since it can use Sleep Powder and String Shot to catch villains but still has feet for kicking things. (If I were including all Pokemon we know of up to now, the Scorbunny line no contest)
Ruby: What he wants to be is Milotic, but then he’d have to go through being a Feebas and he just can’t commit to that. Sapphire eventually pushes him to choose Plusle so he can match her.
Sapphire: Minun. You’d think she’d choose something really tough, but she’s a teenager with a crush and a romantic streak.
Emerald: Tyrannitar.
Diamond: He’d be a Munchlax and he’s not even gonna argue with that. He’s thought about it, too, the topic came up in a show he likes.
Pearl: Whether he thinks about it right away or rants about what a waste of time it is depends on his mood and how long Dia’s been watching TV for, but eventually decides on Doduo because it’s fast and could play both roles of a manzai by itself.
Platinum: She thinks wayyyy to hard about this, but eventually decides that Empoleon does fit her quite well.
Black: Overthinks it and blacks out. He eventually decides that maybe the Bagon line fits him?
White: She thinks Castform might be useful for production.
Blake: In his schoolboy persona he’d say he should match Dewott and be a cute Oshawott. He doesn’t actually have much of an opinion on the matter and thinks it would depend entirely on the circumstances.
Whitley: She thinks an Audino would be nice =).
X: He just shrugs and gives an “I dunno.” His friends say he’d be a Sewaddle.
Y: As long as it flies, she’s happy, but she does like the Fletchling line.
Sun: Meowth. Any variant. Pay Day, man.
Moon: She finds it an odd question, but figures maybe Paras or Shuckle for their medicine-making properties.
Soudo: Aegislash. What’s better than making or using a sword? Being a sword.
Schildemillia: She never actually settles on an answer, she keeps choosing and listing reasons why and then going “NO, WAIT!” and switching to another Pokemon. This continues until she’s either cut off or the asker just leaves.

Happily Together
Pokemon Au for the lovely @mcclainbabe and her amazing bnha oc Sari. I hope I got her personality and daycare duties right, and that you like it! (:
------------------
“No, no, no, you put that down!” Sari chirped out, rushing towards the feisty Squirtle. She took the bone out of his hand before he had the chance to hit his buddy with it. Sari’s pink eyes narrowed at the bone. “How--where did you get this? You didn’t kill anyone did you--”
Sari felt a soft tug at the side of her pink apron. Her eyes focused on the little foot tall creature next to her.
“Ah! Cubone! I didn’t see you sneak in.” Sari gasped, handing the gentle creature the bone he carries with him everywhere. She smiled at him but his eyes continued to stare down at the bone in his little hands, meticulously checking for any new damages.
“Sorry about that,” Mikan walked in Sari’s daycare center. She shut the door behind her. Her braided hair was a mess already. “He’s so excited to be here nowadays that I have to chase him just to keep up.”
Mikan wiped the sweat off her forehead and watched as her Cubone waddled to the corner of the room. He plopped himself down on the floor and looked up at his own with expected but patient eyes. Mikan ruffled through her bookbag and brought out Cubone’s coloring book and handed it to him. He muttered out a happy noise as he carefully plucked the thick crayons out of the containers.
Sari looked over at the Squirtle and raised one eyebrow at him. His head hung with guilt and disappointment in himself. Sari whispered to him, “You know what you should do.”
Squirtle nodded and walked over to Cubone. It seemed like he was apologizing. Cubone nodded his head and pushed his coloring book over more for his new friend. The water pokemon smiled happily and the two began coloring together.
Mikan’s eyes widened as she looked over at Sari, “You have such a way with Pokemon!”
Sari giggled like a windchime back at Mikan. Her friend waved goodbye to her Cubone before exiting the daycare. The sweet-hearted girl turned on her heel to continue her work but bumped into something small and soft.
“Ah, Skitty! I almost tripped over you.” The precious pink pokemon meowed in delight and continued to follow at Sari’s heels.
Looking out the window, Sari could see her Bellossom dancing in the flower garden. She was teaching some of the other babies how to give thanks and gratitude to the land through dance. A sound behind Sari tore her eyes away from the dance group and to the floor. There was spilled juice and a now crying Togepi. Within seconds, Minccino ripped some paper towel sheets from the roll he carries (he places his tail through the center and keeps his tail upright until he needs to take some sheets). He grumbled a bit while doing so, but Sari knew her Minccino really loved to help out.
“Thank you so much, Minccino,” Sari gushed, “I couldn’t run this place right without you.”
Minccino opened his mouth to respond but before he could utter a sound, Plusle and Minun popped out of nowhere and started to pull on his oversized ears. Before Sari had a chance to scold the babies, Jigglypuff cleverly rolled by inticing them and the rest of the troublesome babies of a new game.
The soft bell to the daycare rang and Sari turned her attention to the door. A familiar strip of black in blonde hair waltzed in.
“Hey yo, Sari!” Kaminari Denki smiled hugely waving at her.
“Hi Kaminari! Hi Pikachu!” She cooed at the mouse pokemon that closely followed Kaminari. “What brings you here?”
“I was hoping you would be free so I could take you out to lunch.” Kaminari smiled. Every time he looked at Sari, it was like he was witnessing a miracle take place. The way she moved, laughed, or smiled, it drew him in and captivated him like a wolf to the moon. He loved everything about her, from the way she took care of the Pokemon so delicately and full of compassion, to the way she had to arrange her bed in such specific measurements. Everything she did was magical to him.
“I don’t know, there are a lot of babies here today and--” Sari got cut off by a group of her pokemon pushing her towards Kaminari. She laughed loudly at their reaction, “Okay, I can take a hint! I’ll take a break for once.” She looked back at Kaminari as she removed her pink apron and hung it up by the door. “Where were you thinking of going?”
“Oh, I had something in mind already,” The blonde smiled a toothy grin once more. He grabbed Sari’s hand and he ran out the door, trailing her alongside with him. After a minute or two of running, he managed to guide her towards an open field. There were flowers everywhere.
“This is too pretty!” Sari gasped, admiring the cherry blossom.
She saw something beneath that and squinted her eyes. Underneath the shade of the lovely and blooming cherry blossom tree was a picnic blanket and a picnic basket. Too excited to wait a second more, Sari ran to the blanket and sat down. The breeze helped keep a cool atmosphere on the nice spring day.
Kaminari took his seat next to her. The two talked for some time while they ate their food. Sari commented on his cooking skills and how amazing the food tasted. However, Kaminari sheepishly rubbed the back of his head and confessed how Bakugou had to help him make everything.
“Yeah, that guy is crazy already so I was kind of worried with him having a knife in his--” Kaminari joked before stopping himself abruptly. “You have a petal in your hair,” He mindlessly reached over and plucked the petal gingerly. He noticed how soft her hair was, and much to his embarrassment, he also noticed how close he was to her face.
A blush happened across his face but he swallowed his fear--or well as much of it as he could--and opened his mouth, “Sari, I’ve been meaning to tell you for a while now. I... I have feelings for you. Like big ones. Big feelings.” He confessed. Sari blinked curiously back at him. He continued, growing more flustered and embarrassed by the word. “You know, the kind that you see in movies, and the kind that...” He hesitated, “... make someone ramble instead of doing this--”
He leaned forward, putting gentle hands on Sari’s face and pulled her into a kiss. Sari muffled a surprised noise but soon found her own face blushing. She eased her way in, returning the kiss and having her lips work with Kaminari’s. After their shared moment, they both pulled away for some air. The two of them were unable to look at one another, too embarrassed at their lip locking.
In silence and without making eye contact, Kaminari pushed his hand out towards Sari, holding the pink blossom in between two fingers. “I know how you like to keep things as memories. I think this blossom would work well, especially if you keep it in between two pages of a book.”
“Thank you,” Sari said a bit loudly, still recovering from her nervousness.
The two looked at one another, both equally bright red. The two burst out into loud laughter that the breeze took with it all the way back to Sari’s daycare. The pokemons’ ears all picked up on the bubbly laughter and they smiled to themselves, happy that people they care for are happy--and finally
happy together.
