my gay cataloging professor i guess is like the ex chair of the dept and still organizes most of the professionalization/career events for them and anyway the next event stars his literal husband yet nowhere in the advertising does he mention this

#idk guys we're all adults here let's just be real that dan couldn't get anyone in time for the event so he asked his husband like #it's not even bad nepotism it just feels like the sort of connection SOMEONE ought to mention lmao #or like when my rare books prof was married to the dean of the school. again just seems like someone ought to let the rest of us know #i only know because i obsessively read the acknowledgements sections of my textbooks #well and because i gossip a lot with people who were in the program 10-15 years ago.
