We found this amazing collection of books from 1945 about historical fashion second hand for super cheap! It's illustrated, in color, and in excellent condition, I'm over the moon 🥰 also the antique book fair is back in the city and we can't wait to go visit, I'll probably go next week so I'll share more later! although I really need to stop getting books, I've been out of bookshelf space for months now and they already took over half of the dinning table 😆

Today we went out for sushi to one of our favourite places! It's venezuelan-japanese fusion and it's so so good, the drink is papelon con limon and I highly recommend it!

And last are these amazing thrift finds!! The skirt and sweater are perfect aaaaa I'm going to style so many autumn outfits soon after the weird heat wave passes, I can't wait!!

On a more depressing note, yesterday was my father's first birthday since his death a couple of months ago, and I also saw his tomb for the first time, my aunt sent me a picture at the graveyard and it's such a strange sight, seeing his name on a cross on the ground feels unreal. I try not to think about it too much, it's like if I stop running or look back it will catch up with me. We lit a candle last night with Nicolas and talked about him, it's getting easier to remember the good over the bad with time so I'm happy about that 😊

There is no response to his words, and Valery wonders not for the first time if this house swallows noise just like the lab will swallow time. Maybe the impossibility of their situation has created the tiniest of black holes right here, swallowing the gentlest wishes of a good morning or a good night, and forcing them to repeat the words and fight to make them true.

Valery sets his coffee mug — half empty already because there are no boundaries between the two of them — beside Kostya’s, frowning when he still doesn’t move, doesn’t look up or reach over to acknowledge Valery’s presence. On other Sunday mornings, Kostya would lean back in his chair, the back of his head bumping into Valery’s chest with a happy little sigh, and he’d get a kiss to his forehead for his troubles. Then Valery would ask him what the newspaper said, what his least favourite word of the day is, and why the Brits are madmen for inventing it.

But Kostya is immovable, and Valery wonders if the tiny black hole that swallowed his voice has come and swallowed Kostya’s mind, too.

“Kostya,” he speaks instead, daring the world confined to their living room to challenge their impossibility and steal his voice once more. His hands come up — slowly and gently — to rest on Konstantin’s shoulders, which seem tense even buried beneath his navy blue sweater.

Time seems suspended between gentle touch and careful consideration, but then Valery feels tense muscles becoming rock solid for just a fraction of a second before Konstantin flinches and all but wrenches himself out of Valery’s touch with a choked breath.

Something inside him breaks at the sound of it, at the vision of Konstantin curled forward, as far out of Valery’s reach as he can be with the table in front of him. Valery takes a step back, feeling the black hole grow in size and viciousness, and stumbling as its mass bends gravity around it, sucking him in and away from Konstantin.

He grips the kitchen counter to stabilise himself and keep his mind from running away, running in circles trying to solve a problem he doesn’t yet know the origins of. All he does know is that touching Konstantin seems like a bad idea right now — no matter how his hands twitch, his mind conjuring up images of the two of them curled together, Valery draped over his back as Konstantin attempts to understand the Brits’ obsession with one thing or another, murmuring Russian insults between them like they’re a secret love language.

“I’m sorry,” comes Konstantin’s voice, too carefully crafted into something presentable that Valery can easily make out its shakiness. It hangs in the air, brittle, just waiting to break apart and reveal what it truly means.

So Valery waits. He watches as Konstantin clenches and unclenches his hand, reaching for Valery’s coffee mug to wrap his hands around it. It’s a silent message, one he might not be all that aware of but Valery is good at waiting, he’s good at observing and finding patterns. Kostya will find something of Valery’s when he could have easily used his own, and attempt to ground himself with it. Even when they’re fighting.

It leaves him grateful beneath his confusion, that he left it there.

“I’m sorry,” Konstantin says again, but still he doesn’t move. Frozen again — or still.

“It’s alright,” Valery says, his own shaky voice a thousand times more stable than Konstantin’s. “I promise, it’s alright. We’re safe.”

Konstantin huffs, and the black hole is not kind enough to swallow it this time, leaving Valery to frown, the weight of worry becoming nearly unbearable now. Does he not believe it? Does he not know?

“Talk to me, Kostya,” he pleas, his voice a whisper still, his hands clenching around the counter to keep himself from reaching out to the man he loves and challenging their impossibilities one time too many.

One thing that I would love you to write for your wtma-AU is Tommy wearing Alfie’s clothes. Alfie is in London and Tommy is in Birmingham and Tommy misses Alfie and he knows that one of Alfie’s shirts is still hanging up in his wardrobe, Tommy knows because he hid this particular shirt so Alfie wouldn’t be able to take it with him, its Tommy’s favourite of Alfie’s shirts. Tommy decides that he is going to wear Alfie’s shirt despite having a full day of meetings with his family. The shirt obviously drowns Tommy but he doesn’t care, he loves Alfie and he misses him, more than he thought possible to miss a person, even though Alfie has only been gone 1 day and 1 night. Ada is the only one who’s notices the shirt and she makes sure that Tommy know she know, they have light banter about it and Tommy should feel embarrassed that he got caught but he doesn’t he just feels warm inside

Cuddles with Aaron? I just think he'd be the best you know?? Esp the later seasons one? He's so big <3 and warm and safe <3 just looking at the gifs and i know I'd be safe with him?? Whether it's the world or my own thoughts that are being mean it doesn't matter? Because once he wraps himself around you nothing else matters except that he doesn't let go? He knows your mind calms down when he hugs you? So on especially bad days, he just makes sure he's wearing his softest t-shirt and you've got on your fav comfy pjs and just wraps you up??? Settles you on top of him, arms wrapped tight around your waist, your face buried in his neck?? With a blanket on top so it just feels like you're covered from all sides protected by this wonderful man? He uses his soft Jack voice to tell you all about the teams shenanigans? Makes sure to put on your fav scented candle? Strokes your hair, leaves gentle kisses on your forehead and just talks to you? Urges you to let the thoughts in your brain run out no matter how chaotic or silly they seem to you? Grips you tighter as you keep sharing? And when you're sleepy he turns around so you're tucked in his side, arms still wrapped tight and sleeps like that? Even though his arm is sire to get numb? Wakes you up the next morning with gentle kisses to your cheeks and nose and eyelids that make you giggle, your fav coffee and breakfast ready for you? Makes sure to spend atleast a couple of hours on top of you doing some v strenuous cardio so you can start the day right: with his name on your lips as he rails you into another planet and a massive smile on your face when he carries you to the shower?

he makes sure everything is perfect for you before you get to cuddling!! he makes you your favorite tea or hot chocolate…any hot beverage you love that makes you relax <3 he lays your favourite pjs on the bed so you can find them all clean and warm when you get home from work! and he also knows that what he’s wearing is also very important bc there is a serious cuddling session waiting for him ahead. so he chooses to wear his softest sweater!!

when you get home he takes you in his arms and gives you a forehead kiss immediately!! he makes sure you have been drinking your water and have eaten well!! if not - he’ll make sure you will!!

and when you’re all set, he lays on the bed and takes you with him 🥹 you’re like a blanket on top of him 🥰🥰 he runs his hands up and down your back, under your top…he kisses your hair…he tells you about the dirty words morgan and penelope exchanged in front of him that day that made him uncomfortable 🧍🏻 he tells you about the new facts spencer taught him that came up during their last case…he tells you about emily and how the team teased her about her recent date and what a failure it was…and suddenly you’re laughing, not even remembering about the things that made you sad in the first place <3

but if you wanna talk he’ll listen. and he’ll stay quiet if that’s what you want!! but if you want him to speak he’ll give you advice! bc he’s older and he knows better and sometimes he makes you see things from a different or more mature perspective <3 but he never fails to tell you about how much he loves you. how much you mean to him (the whole world). and how safe you are with him. he would never let anything happen to you!! you’re okay!! and you’ll always be okay!! he makes sure you know!

he plays with your hair and gives you so sooooo many kisses 🥰🥰 and he lets you play with his hair too and give him kisses and bite him and do anything your heart desires to him <33 and you fall asleep with a happy carefree smile on your face bc nothing makes you feel safer than your love’s arms 🥰🥰🥰
