The 100 rewatch 2023 ep 1.07 Live Blog
Contents Under Pressure.
The clarke/raven/finn love triangle is so soapy. blech.
Oh. Storm is here. Raven is trying to reach the Ark Station. But through a hurricane so that's hard. Clarke is being so supportive and reassuring. (that's a real relationship. Princess Mechanic forever.)
Kane is listing Abby's crimes. All punishable by death. Kane is trying to ignore the radio signals. The council voted to save Abby. Kane is bitchy saying those flashes AREN'T evidence of the kids' survival and Abby gets kicked off the council.
THAT is a signal from Raven Reyes. OH it's station wide. LOL. Everyone in the Ark hears Raven saying The 100 are alive. Ha ha. The signal is coming from earth. Kane looks gutted.
Ah it's ClLARKE on the radio. Abby's voice cracks. Ope she just lets dropped the fact that they aren't alone and Finn got stabbed by a grounder. oops. Jaha asks about Wells. No sorry. Wells is dead. :(
Bitch. You sent him down there. Don't get all pissy Jaha.
Abby is breaking up. THERES A HURRICANE BABY. A huge one. Does that cover the entire south east? Monty's moonshine is used as treatment. Monty and Jasper and Bellamy are out in the storm. No they're back. They are dragging Lincoln. "Intel."
"This is not who we are," Clarke says.
"It is now," Bellamy says. And he's right actually. But it's not really a good thing.
Clarke the medic. Abby guiding her. That's nice. Oop. Tying Lincoln up. And here's Miller. Is this the first time we seeMiller?
Octavia is defnding Lincoln. He hit Lincoln for Finn and Jasper and John and Roma. Who are dead. Yes O he speaks English and Bellamy things he'll understand.
Jaha is morose an looking at memories of Wells. Again. You sent them down there. I have never liked Jaha since he said the kids were disposable. Sorry.
Oh what was that lady's name. Diana. Thanks Jaha. She's divisive. Her people are the workers. She used to be the Chancellor. My people. Your people. Sigh. "you've activated project exodus. congratulations. you will forever be remembered as the man who brought us back to the ground."
Well. No actually. He won't. There's no one to remember him for bringing the ark home. Because they are all dead and/or sucked up into a sparkly purple alien.
I missed all Diana's maneuvering because I was thinking about how pointless it all turned out to be. Stupid season 7.
Yeah yeah. Finn will die if she moves the knife a millimeter in the wrong direction.
Oh. he wakes up as she tries to take the knife out. Yipes. I bet the grounders were not as careful taking the spear out of Jasper's chest. Wait what happened? They all got knocked off their asses but the knife is out of his chest. And he's not dead yet. But he's giving Clarke the lovey dovey eyes right in front of Raven and that is just icky.
Bell trying to get Linocln to talk. Miller finds his antidotes. "Who knows with these people." Listen. Bellamy could EASILY have been Pike. I will forever declare that Clarke's influence kept him from being like that.
Finds Lincoln's journal with a drawing of O and hatchmarks of the 100 live and dead.
Abby wants to talk with Clarke. Clarke doesn't want to talke to her. She goes up to talk to Bellamy. Tells his goon to "get the hell out of my way." "If he didn't hate us before, he does now."
Relax princess. You know the narrative never puts the weight on that term that the fandom did.
Bellamy thinks they're fighting a way and Clarke things they're not soldiers. Bellamy thinks they can't win if they don't fight. Because Lincoln is intimidating.
Finn is seizing but i gotta say I don't care. The stakes mean nothing because we know he's fine in the end. Except for being an awful person who ends up murderous. So like. That does not draw me into the narrative in retrospect.
Kane walking through the people and having all of them being angry at him does, however, have narrative and character resonance. Surprisingly. Wow. Watching Kane alter his character before our eyes. Jaha is finally doing the right thing and telling the Ark the truth. General assembly. Oh wait. This is section 17 where everyone died. Kane came to the culling site to wallow in his guilt. "If I had waited a day, two days, they'd still be alive."
He knows it was him. He was so sure. He swore an oath to protect them and instead he killed them. (ACAB)
"Pull yourself together Kane, and then get your ass to the mess hall." Okay I don't hate Jaha ALL the time. He's like a midrange fav character for me. I suppose I like him better than Jasper (sorry Jasper fans.) If I look at it that way. L was a midrange fave, too. There are lots of characters I hated more.
Clarke has figured out that the knife was poisoned. They say he doesn't understand her but he does. She's trying to force him. Now she's begging. B is going to torture him to get the antidote. O wants to say this is not who we are. Ironic considering who she became. I do not like the character development of O through the whole series. Honestly. She mostly got worse. Seeing her now and she was way better in s1 even being a bratty kid.
Now they're hitting him. No. We do not like torture. Bellay. You do not like hitting him. Clarke begging again. But he won't so B has to hit him again. Aww. B touches Clarke's shoulder to get her out of the way.
This ep is pretty good honeslty.
Jaha telling the truth. He lied about the 100. Earth is survivable. The Ark is dying. He says the culling gifted the rest of them the time they need to go to the earth. But the people still think he's lying to cover up the culling. The dude says all those people died for nothing. But he literally just said that they gave them time to find a way to get to the ground. The dude is like you don't know how we feel.
I LOST MY SON!!!!
Jaha offers the open seat to Diana Sydney. What? No election? Bad idea. She's a scum bucket.
Back to the torture. Pain is not going to make Lincoln tell the antidote. Sorry Clarke. B is not hapy. Oh no. I forgot he shoved that thing through his hand. Yikes. He tries to get Clarke to leave. Ugh. Bad. That's bad. Ugh.
Oh i forgot about this. Raven without any compunctions. Shocks him with live wires. He screams for the first time.
Oh wow. Is this necessary???
Raven crying because "He's all I have!!" O slices herself with the knife. "HE won't let me die."
B is dying. Not literally. Emotionally. HIS SISTER.
But fucking Lincoln tells her which bottle is the antidote. She won't let B touch her.
This shit is FUCKED UP. Wow.
Finn has been given the antidote. Now Clarke is crying over Finn. "I can't do this without you." UGGGGGGGHHH. I'm gonna throw up.
Oh is the hurrican passing already? Nah. That doesn't happen that quickly. It was like three hours tops and probably less.
Ugh. Clarke is being a total bitch with Aabby. "Dad's dead because of you. You turned him in. I know it. WElls told me everything before he.... He let me believe he did it so I'd hate him instead of you."
"That was never supposed to happen. Jaha was supposed to talk him out of it."
She was used to preferential treatment because Jaha had a crush on her. But he didn't offer that preferrential treatment to her husband. I'm going with season 1. And season 1 had Jaha with a thing for Abby. Even if they didn't go anywhere with it. Maybe Jaha gave it up when Wells died. But that is a narrative motivation in season 1.
Clarke takes the spike out of LIncoln's hand and tries to treat him but he won't let her. God he's stubborn. And he lets Octavia do it. Sorry Lincoln you're being creepy with the teenager. You are NOT a teenager. This is a kid man.
And O is being spiteful because O does that best. But she's so sweet to lincoln about him saving her life. and fair he did. but he was willing to sacrifice ALL of the other kids. Now he speaks english does he?
I was not expecting to not like Lincoln. This is weird. Stop looking at her like that. Ew it's creepy. I was caught up in the narrative before which makes this a romeo and juliet story. But they were both kids and LINCOLN is and has always been an adult. wtf.
UGh now finn is looking at Clarke like she's the love of his life. And CLARKE says "She needs you finn."And she wakes up Raven and says he's asking for her. Which he isn't.
Must I say it again. Dump the limp hair biscuit and hook up with Raven. PRINCESS MECHANIC RULES.
Bellamy and Clarke. Who we are and who we need to be to survive are two very different things.
I DO NOT LIKE THIS FAMOUS BELLAMY QUOTE> IT's just the ends justify the means and I DO NOT AGREE.
"It's not being in charge, is it?"
Ugh Diana Sydney swearing in. HOw many eps before she betrays everyone?
OH THE BAD NEWS. We're going to the ground. NOT ALL OF US. 2237 people on the ark. Room for 700 in the dropships. They're on the titanic and there aren't enough lifeboats.
All right. That was a jam packed episode. And I have to say I liked it a lot. It didn't have any big resolutions. I suppose the knife came out of Finn. But it was a lot of character development.
Kane has his complete personality switch and goes back to his childhood spiritual center.
Abby learns that Clarke knows she told on her dad.
Jaha finds out Wells is dead and begins to slowly lose it.
O defends Lincoln and sacrifices herself to save him and Finn trusting Lincoln and the Romeon and Juliet thing starts.
Bellamy pushes himself to be this emotionless torturer because he thinks it's who he needs to be.
Clarke essentially gives up Finn in favore of Raven. Poor judgement. She should give up fin FOR Raven and both of them should dump him and sneak off to the bunker together. I am not apologizing. Bellarke isn't ready yet. They should be future ex girlfriends.
Miller takes over as Bellamy's lieutenant.
Diana Sydney, one of my least favorite characters, despite my kind of being on her side with the class issues on the ark, shows up and is giving power without any sort of vote at all.
The exodus is set up. Oh i can't wait til they get to the ground.
LOTS of character development. Lot of action.
Man if I could write this instead of them, things would be different. Wells would survive. Raven and Clarke would hook up and support each other for a while. When that broke up, amicably, Bellamy and Wells would be waiting in the wings. Yes. Raven and Wells. She never had a guy worthy of her and he never had a chance to be who he could have been. I would have LOVED to hear them argue. It would be enemies to lovers, because he was Jaha's son and a pompous ass and she was a cocky bastard who has no respect. AWESOME.
sigh. well anyway.
What did y'all think of the ep? I'm not editing this post. We die like teenagers in the apocalypses.

So you're mildly interested in The 100 but it's garbage and you just want the goods of fanfic?
said no one ever. but here we go
Cheater article
1900s : Mount Weather Emergency Operations center is constructed in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the United States as a military bunker.
2051 : Scientist Dr. Becca Franco, created an AI A.L.I.E. (Applied Lucent Intelligence Emulator), but turns out the AI is a eugenicist and subscribes to the thought of overpopulation, and that the greatest threats to humans (the mystery she was created to solve) is humans. Franco shuts that shit down. She retreats to her personal space station, Polaris, to continue studying, where she created a new A.I. dubbed A.L.I.E. 2 (and only compatible with a special blood compound she also created, called nightblood)
2052 : A.L.I.E. launches a worldwide nuclear strike to “save the human race” due to its calculation that there were “too many people.” She set out to solve the world’s overpopulation problem by eliminating enough of the human race to save the rest.
2054 : October 1st, the first Unity Day. 13 separate space stations from 12 separate nations (plus Franco’s) are trying to ride out the apocalypse that’s happening on the surface. The 12 stations are way too sus about Franco and how she made ALIE and Alpha Station shoots Polaris down. With her fall, the remaining 12 join as one and create The Ark - the supposed last bastion of human survivors.
PYSCH. Franco didn’t die with the rest of her station, she jettisoned in a little pod, shot up with Nightblood and having shoved ALIE 2.0 into the back of her neck at her brain stem (ALIE 2 being an implanted AI to better understand human emotions, unlike its predecessor who was a stand alone AI). She crashes to earth with the rest of the superhuman blood- i mean, nightblood, and tries to help the ppl who survived on the surface (everyone in space thought everyone else died). Her story becomes the legend of the First Commander and her technology becomes the foundation of the Grounder society, with the Nighblood passing through Grounders. A.L.I.E. 2.0 becomes "The Flame," a chip passed down and implanted through the generations of Grounder leaders called Commanders, which contains the memories of all Commanders before them.
2100-2149 : On the Ark, Abigail Griffin, Marcus Kane, Thelonius Jaha, Charles Pike are born and live in humanity's post-apocalyptic society in space.
The generation below them also grows up on the Ark, including Clarke Griffin, Bellamy and Octavia Blake, Monty Green, Raven Reyes, John Murphy, Jasper Jordan, Harper McIntyre, Finn Collins, Nathan Miller, and Wells Jaha, all of whom will make their way to Earth at the start of the series with the Delinquents.
On Earth, the Grounders become the descendants of Earth's human survivors, developing new languages, faith, and customs foreign to the pre-apocalypse world. 12 Grounder Clans emerge, as well as societies of nomadic grounders.
OK done with the condensed and relevant version of that article, now to the important plot.
Clarke is MC
Mom: Abby, head of medical clinic
Dad: Jake, head of engineering or smn
Chancellor: Thelonius Jaha
Wells: Chancellor’s son, clarke’s bff
Because they’re all part of the Elite Alpha Station, they don’t get a lot of acceptance from the others that are essentially considered lower class by default, so they tend to band together very clichishly
There are limited resources on the Ark, obvs, so shit like one kid only rule, food rations, recycling of goods (like clothes), etc. That also means that all “crimes” are super detrimental and get you floated… into space. Death penalty style. Unless you’re a minor, then you get incarcerated until you’re 18 when you go through a revision and maybe you’re let back into populace or maybe they float you anyway
So
Jake finds out the Ark’s oxygen scrubbing system is in catastrophic failure. Like not just a little glitch but full failing. And there’s nowhere to run in space, so he tells Abby and suggests they tell everyone so everyone can be in on the decision of what to do moving forward. Abby is hesitant, and they bring it up to Jaha (Thelonius is Jaha, Wells is Wells) who immediately shoots it down - mass panic and all that. Jake still presses that they should Let The People Know and while that who whatever is going down, Clarke hears her dad talking about it. She stresses over it, confides in Wells about it, and then her father is floated for treason (recording a video he intended to release to the public about the failure). She is 17 and so they toss her in the Skybox (juvy) but gen pop gets visitation with the outside, so they put her in solitary for the rest of her sentence so she can’t blab.
Just before her 18th (revision hearing anticipated), guards bust in and haul her out. She flips, thinking they’re floating her early, probably starting in the Skybox to save on oxygen. But no, she sees her mom for a sec and she explains they’re sending down the kids in a dropship to test if earth is safe. It’s not projected to be for another few generations, but clarke knows there’s a time crunch. she knows the real why. They zap her and she wakes up on the dropship, descent already starting, and there’s… Wells? Goody Two Shoes Chancellor’s Son? the only other person she told about her dad. wtf yanno. He confesses to her he got arrested to get sent down on the Dropship with her. ok but didn’t you sell out her dad? Question Mark?
They have monitoring cuffs to relay their vitals to the Ark to see just how toxic earth is now. There’s supposed to be a radio but it gets fried in the rough landing. They go out and WOW EARTH! But they were supposed to be dropped on Mount Weather, uninhabited maybe, but should still be stocked with pre-war goodies. they’re also horny, stupid, delinquent teens so they just start dicking around and taking off their wristbands (fuck the Ark, they don’t get to know about us, they sent us on a suicide mission) and clarke is like. Hello? The Ark is dying. Pissbaby (Bellamy Blake) is like so what. Whatever the hell we want. And clarke is like uhhhhh do you know farming like the aptly named Farm Station? Do you know medicine? Tell me what you do know. Oh right, you were training to be a guard to keep your sister (a second child *gasp*) safe, you both got caught, she was iced, you got demoted to a janitor, and then the head of the guards was like “shoot jaha and i’ll get you on that dropship” and so you did. What a Big Bad Boy. boring. But he knows how to appeal to the rest of the delinquents, and so he’s effective.
So they try to actually survive (food, water, shelter, under clarke’s direction mostly) because maybe they don’t hate everyone on the Ark. clarke gets some of them to head out towards mount weather, just to see what they could benefit from. but on their way there, one of them gets speared. Holy shit there are people living on the ground! And then the rest of them get their ass in gear and try to actually survive. people start dying, surprise surprise, they get panicked by the threat of people already established on the land they were told was their birthright and by the fact that they’re woefully underprepared. also Super Charming Space Walker Finn is hitting on clarke and she’s kinda into it because wow. hormones. there’s also this acid fog that rolls through sometimes and boils the skin off their bones.
One time, she’s running from it with Finn and Wells and they find an old, mostly buried car to hide out in.
Canonically, she hops in with them to flirt and brood and drink.
Canonically, she goes with them back to the rest of the delinquents and the Dropship.
Canonically, she is Skaikru (the Grounder word for People Of The Sky) and is treated as such.
But also like. Canon is garbage anyway
And instead, we were gifted with KL Morgan
And KL Morgan gifted us with Destruction
And then for more canonical aus, we have KL Morgan (again ofc) with The Lay of the Looking Glass Land - it does take up further into canon so this blurb wouldn't be sufficient

Silent Bloom
Parings: Bellamy Blake/reader
Warnings: None
Chapter: 2.02
"So Nyko tried to kill him?" You asked.
Octavia nodded. "Yeah, he said death was the only way."
The guilt on Octavia’s face was obvious; she blamed herself. "O, listen to me. Lincoln wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for you. You saved him."
"He got shot because of me."
You leaned forward and squeezed her hand. "You and Bellamy did what you had to, he will understand."
"I hope you’re right."
You smiled at Octavia before glancing over her shoulder. Finn was talking to Clarke in what looked like an intense conversation. For all the times the blonde got on your nerves, she at least appeared to have Finn’s back, which you were grateful for. You just hoped somebody was looking out for Monty and Jasper. After a couple of moments, Clarke disappeared from sight as she left camp.
"Daisy?"
You looked back at Octavia to see her looking at you, concerned. "Sorry, I was just lost in my thoughts."
"I’m here for you Daze, whenever you need to talk."
"Grounders are big and strong, and if the mountain men can turn Lincoln into a reaper-"
Octavia knowing what you meant finished the sense for you. "Then what are they doing to our people?"
You nodded. Clarke explained that she was going to meet with the commander to try and come to a deal with them, but that wasn’t enough. The grounders had no loyalty to your people and could easily turn at any minute. Clarke escaping the mountain with Anya wasn’t enough to build trust. They escaped. You leaned in closer to Octavia, "I think I have an idea."
Once you explained your idea to Octavia for a moment, she stared at you, dumbfounded before talking. "I think your plan is insane, but it might work. I’ve got your back on this."
From the moment you met Octavia, you knew she was a kind person, and her friendship was one you’d always be grateful for.
—
"Absolutely not! Are you insane!"
"Stop being so loud, somebody will hear us."
Bellamy shook his head before continuing to pace back and forth. Octavia was keeping an eye out while you had practically cornered her brother. It was surprisingly easy to get Bellamy on his own, considering he was always surrounded by so many people."
"You can’t do this," he stopped pacing and turned to face you. "I won’t let you."
You scoffed, "let me? You don’t own me, Blake."
"It’s too dangerous"
You held his gaze while stepping closer to him. "Tell me you haven’t thought the same thing, and if you can tell me, I’ll drop this."
Bellamy let out a frustrated sigh before replying. "We’ve talked about going into the mountain before. That’s always been a part of the plan."
"I don’t want to sneak in."
"You want to be bait!" He snapped.
The harshness of his voice takes you by surprise, but you brush it off. You knew Bellamy wouldn’t like your plan. Nobody would. "It makes more sense. If I get taken, they won’t be suspicious. I can fill our people in on what’s going to happen before-"
"We don’t know when the commander will want her people to attack. It’s too late for this plan to work."
You scoffed, "right."
A strange look appeared on Bellamy’s face as he stared at you. He was hard to read. You found it almost intimidating the way his brown eyes studied you. "You don’t think the commander will agree to a truce."
It wasn’t a question.
Bellamy was right, you didn’t think they would. "They have no reason to trust us."
"They will want to save their people who have been turned into reapers."
"I don’t doubt that, but once we’ve done that and stopped the mountain men, what is stopping them from slaughtering us?"
Bellamy looked as if he was pondering your words before shaking his head.
"Jasper and Monty are my family. I can’t sit back while they suffer."
"I can’t let you be bait."
As you opened your mouth to reply, there was a knock at the door. Somebody was coming. "This conversation isn’t over."
You expected Bellamy to argue back, but instead his face split into a wide grin before he held the door open for you.
—
Leaning against a large piece of metal, you shuddered as the coldness touched the back of your neck. The past few hours had seemed to drag on. You had just finished your shift on cleaning duty and had decided to wait by the gates for Clarke to return.
You enjoyed the rare moment of isolation as you stared up at the stars. Looking at the beauty up above was one of the only things that could distract you from reality.
A rustling noise from behind caused you to jump slightly. You frowned upon seeing the amused look that spread across Bellamy’s face. "Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you."
"What can I do for you, Blake?"
He sat down on the ground next to you. "I thought I’d come to you this time."
You leaned back into a more comfortable position, heart still racing. "Wise choice, I would have just hunted you down anyway."
"I was thinking about what you said before." Oh great. You could already imagine this conversation turning sour. Regardless of what he said, you were sticking to your plan. "I think I might have a solution. We will go in together."
Together? It took you a moment to process what he was proposing. "How?"
"Lincoln knows a way in."
Your eyes widened. That plan sounded riskier than yours. "I’m assuming Octavia doesn’t like this plan."
"She doesn’t know about it yet." Octavia wouldn’t like her boyfriend and brother putting themselves at risk, but she would understand. "We need to wait until he is better, and Clarke is back. This plan is only a back up."
"What made you reconsider?" You asked curious.
"You’re stubborn." You chuckled at his answer. "I know you’d try to find a way in no matter what I said. At least this way we will have each other’s back."
You smiled before looking back up at the sky. You sat in a comfortable silence until Bellamy turned to you again. "Can I ask you something?"
You nodded.
"Have you and Finn sorted things out?"
"Yeah, we have." You smiled, knowing that closure was the one thing you did have. "We are just friends."
The sudden touch of Bellamy’s fingers brushing against your face made your cheeks burn. He tucked a few strands of hair behind your ear before moving his hand away. His touch brought back the memory of being high and imagining him kissing you popped into your head, causing you to burst into laughter.
Bellamy looked at you confused, "What’s so funny?"
"Just remembered an embarrassing memory." You could feel your cheeks heating up. "It’s not that funny really, it’s just-"
"Embarrassing?" He smirked.
When you finally stopped laughing, you noticed Bellamy was giving you the same intense look he had earlier. Suddenly, his lips are on yours. His fingers settle on your cheeks.
When the pressure of his lips is gone, and your eyes flutter open, you gaze directly into his brown ones. He pulls away, muttering to himself. "That was stupid, I’m sorry."
"No, it wasn’t," you replied.
"Yes, it was," he says, avoiding your gaze as he stands back up. "I should have asked."
"Maybe you should have, but I didn’t pull away." Bellamy looked down at you and reached his hand out to help you to your feet. "I would have said yes."
Putting his hand on the back of your neck, he leaned in until your lips were almost touching, "and if I asked you now?"
"Bellamy I...Clarke’s back."

Think About You (The 100)
Summary: Y/N struggles after a break up with Bellamy.
Pairing: Bellamy Blake x reader, John Murphy x reader
Title Reference: Think About You x JoJo
Word Count: 1.4k
Warning: mention of sex, alcohol, breakup
✤ · ✤ · ✤ · ✤ · ✤
It had been nearly six months since Bellamy and I parted ways. The three and a half years of relationship we had felt like a waste, as if those times I spent with him were pointless.
I just need time alone to think
A stupid fucking excuse in my opinion. He hadn't had the balls to tell me he was over the relationship, that he was bored with me. That the thrill he had with me was gone. The love he had for me was gone.
Six damn months since my best friend took off and I can't seem to get rid of him. Doesn't help that our friend group mesh together but you'd think that someone that betrayed you would be easy to forget.
It wasn't. Not at all.
I missed the jokes he'd tell me whenever I was down, when Bellamy told me he hated seeing me sad. The times when I'd wake up in his arms, when he'd plant kisses on my forehead before we got up in the morning.
The random breakfast in bed he'd make for me and the only reason was that it was because he loved me. Cute surprise dates he would plan for me, all because he wanted to do something nice.
Was all of that an act? Was it all a lie? I don't even fucking know, because he dropped me as if I meant nothing to him. As if we weren't best friends before we became lovers.
Of course it hurt, probably one of the worst pain that I've dealt with in a while. Bellamy never considered how I'd feel and that maybe that was the worse part of it all.
That he turned away and never looked back
Raven and Clarke told me that everything would be alright, that I had them and they'd give him the piece of their minds. They hated what he did to me, they were as angry as I was.
They knew how much he meant to me, they were there with me when I started to grow feelings for my best friend. I even hid my feelings from Bellamy, afraid that I'd ruin the friendship.
I wish I never spoke about it, never told anyone about my feelings towards him. I wish that I just kept my mouth shut because now, it ended up like this.
"The best way to forget a breakup is to fuck someone new" was what Raven told me. I'd hesitated, a part of me wasn't ready to move on. Holding the hope that maybe, just maybe Bellamy would come back to me.
He never did, I waited two weeks and I got nothing. The days that went by just hurt more, pained me as I repeated the memories of him over and over again.
So I told myself to do it, have some fun and forget at the same time. Push all my angry feelings towards that and let it all out. But it never worked, I just kept thinking of Bellamy.
The sex with Murphy was pretty good, I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as did. The multiple nights that he held me never help me forget about Bellamy but it was quality time that I desperately needed.
Clarke thought it'd be a mess, said that it wouldn't end well. Murphy and Bellamy already were on not-so-good terms, they always butted heads for as long as we known each other.
I didn't care at all. I wanted to do whatever the hell I wanted to do, do whatever made me feel better even if it was only for one second. Anything was better than feeling that pain again.
Raven decided we'd go out to make ourselves feel better, even insisted on bringing Murphy with us. I wasn't sure how I felt about bringing him into a social gathering, giving that the only time we've hung out recently was on the bed.
My friends then suggested on bringing Finn, Jasper and Monty to make sure it wouldn't be as awkward. It probably would help considering the four were good friends, so I agreed.
The weekend came quick, I was honestly looking forward to spending time with my friends without having to worry about my feelings. It felt nice to look forward to something, taking my mind off of everything that had been happening.
The girls and I had a few drinks while we got ready, then took a taxi to our favorite place and met up with the boys there.
Not going to lie, Murphy looked really good. Really really good. He even looked better when we were on each other on the dance floor, our sweaty skin touching as we moved to the beat of the music.
This was fun, watching Murphy bite his lip as he enjoyed being all over me. Me enjoying having his eyes and attention only on me. Him and alcohol were a good combo, made me forget about everything that happened before tonight.
Until I saw him.
Bellamy dancing with another girl, or should I say practically fucking each other in the middle of the club. Her dressed were thin, very very short to where I can kind of see her ass. His hands all over her while he grinned widely, the smile I haven't seen from him in a very long time.
But it couldn't be, why would I see him again here out of all places? Bellamy wasn't the type to go to clubs, he said and I quote "I was too old for that now" but here he was.
Next thing I knew, our eyes met. Bellamy looked over at me, blinked for a bit as the lightbulb flashed above his head as he recognized me.
But that was it. He kept on dancing as if nothing happened. As if he didn't see his ex girlfriend, his ex best friend, the girl that he claimed that he loved so much.
Sadness and anger flushed over me, I came here to have a good time, to forget about him. Of course something like this happened right?
I pulled Murphy closer, our bodies touching now more than ever. I was stupid to think forcing this would make me forget Bellamy, but I had no other choice but to distract myself.
He smirked, enjoying every bit of attention he was getting for me. It was the heat of the moment, the anger, the alcohol and Murphy standing right in front of me; I grabbed him and kissed him.
Murphy didn't hesitate, sharing a sloppy, drunk kiss as his one hand held onto my hip and his other hand on my cheek. I was honestly surprised, considering that we weren't "out" to people about what we do. I guess it didn't matter to him, and I was glad.
'Trying to make him jealous right?' Murphy whispered in my ear, 'I don't mind pissing him off.'
It didn't occur to me that that was it; making Murphy mine for the night to make Bellamy aggravated. I was calling for his attention, anything to make him look my way again.
I wanted him to know that I knew he was there, I needed Bellamy to see that I was getting the attention from someone new. I didn't care if it was anger or guilt but I wanted him to feel something towards me, anything.
Bellamy had to get over his pride and come talk to me, pull me away from Murphy and tell me I shouldn't dance with him. Tell me that he was better, that I wouldn't get anyone else better than him.
At this point, this could be the last time we'd be together again. Angry breakup sex or a last quick bathroom fuck that I'd get from him, I wouldn't mind. As long as I can get him in my arms again.
But there was nothing, Bellamy's focus was on the girl that was grinding on him. He didn't care about me, not even the slightest bit. He saw that I was there and that was it. I was just some stranger that was at the same club with him for that night.
He didn't hate me enough to come yell at me, shout at me about the stupidest reasons he could think of. I didn't have the worth to be in his mind or feelings at all, I was just there.
And even knowing that pain all over again, I couldn't move on from him. All I could do was think about him. Over and over.

I Told You You’d Cry—Jasper Jordan
Pairing: Jasper Jordan x genderneutral!reader
Trigger warning: Injured Jasper, near death
Fandom: The 100
Genre: Bit of fluff, mostly angst
Requested: No
Word count:
Summary: Y/n hasn’t slept for a week, too worried about her injured best friend, cursing herself because he was right all along. She would cry if he died.
*Gif not mine*
Italics = memory
“Y/n do something!” “Would you shut up for a second, Monty? Clarke, find me a wash cloth.” You said, eyes glued to Jasper’s injury engulfed body. A cough wracked his fragile form, and your brow furrowed. Clarke sprinted quick as quicksilver out of the tower your were huddled in with Monty and a barely breathing Jasper Jordan.
“You better wake up goggle boy.” Your voice shook a little as you spoke, he was right after all. You would cry if he died. You’d more than cry, you’d yell, kick, and scream as insanity engulfed you very essence.
“Oh come on, you would. You love me too much not too.” Jasper teased. You threw a small rock at his head, and he swooped left just in time. “Great shot, not as great as me though.” He winked, you laughed.
“Well if you don’t die, we’ll never have to find out, goggle boy.”
You had debated this topic with your best friend innumerable times over the years you’d known each other. He’d do something dumb and potentially life threatening, and tease you about how much you’d cry if he died, you’d deny such things and tell him the you’d never have to find out. Now here he is before you again, about to try and get to Mount Weather with a few other outlaws, doing just the same.
“But what would you do if I did?” Amusement sparkled in his whiskey coloured eyes, always enjoying your reaction to his taunts.
“Just don’t die, okay?” You groaned. He pulled you into his chest, arms wrapping firmly around your waist, chin resting on top of your head. His hand moved gently through your hair, another thing he always did when the laughter died out, and his emotions were vulnerable.
“All teasing aside though, I wouldn’t leave you like that.” he murmured against you hair. He pulled away enough to look you in the eyes, his way of showing he was sincere. Out of everything so far, this was the riskiest yet. You were back on the ground, exploring completely unknown territory, like the Lewis and Clark expedition on steroids.
“I should hope not.” You smiled gently at him, and he leaned slightly closer to you, forehead bumping yours.
“Could you guys do that after we’ve gotten back from Mount Weather? Come on, Jasper.” Monty rolled his eyes, appearing next to Jasper, trapping his foot impatiently.
“See you soon?”
“See you soon.”
It had been a week. Or maybe less. Or more. You didn’t know what time it was, or whether it was day or night, or how many days or weeks it had been since Bellamy and Clarke had dragged him into the camp. When they’d come back without him the first time, Finn had to lock you in the tower so you wouldn’t go bolting out of the camp, and as it turns out they found your a attachment to Jasper a liability and didn’t let you out until they came back. At least they were letting you treat him now.
Plenty of your time was spent sending Clarke or Octavia into the forest to get plants and test them out on yourself to see if they were poisonous or not. A few had made you seriously ill, and you’d gone outside briefly so you didn’t infect Jasper, but no plants had been fatal, and most had proven relatively helpful. The others told you every day “you need to hurry, someday Bellamy’s going to take the snap” and he would, you were sure, but you would buy yourself as much time as you could muster to keep Jasper alive.
You hadn’t cried yet, you wouldn’t let yourself, that would mean admitting he had died. If you started to get chocked up, you’d snapped your eyes shut and force fond memories of your best friend into you mind, blocking out the version of him that was sitting with a dying pulse on the metal floor in front of you.
It was miraculous frankly that you hadn’t swallowed your own tongue yet, with only about an hour and a half of sleep each day, anyone else would have, but anyone else was not you. You had a better reason to stay awake than they did, you only wish Jasper did too.
Peeking open eyes, you gazed at his face. His face was pinched like he was having a nightmare, and he let out occasional groans of pain, and mumbles of nonsense, though you occasionally caught your name. It shattered your heart, and your hand quickly tangled itself with his.
This time when the tears started to prick your eyes, you let them come. You let them pour down your cheeks like the spray of a geyser. Nothing was stopping you now, and your body quaked with sobs. And then a hand squeezed yours.
Your head snapped up, gazing at the now very much conscious Jasper. Your free hand covered your mouth, jaw hanging slack.
“I told you you’d cry.” he rasped, a small grin tugging at his chapped lips.
“Oh my god.” you whispered, curling you knees into you chest, and gently brushing his hair out of his face.
“That’s my job.” he protested meekly, narrowing his eyes in protest, clearly yearning to swat your hand away.
“I don’t care, all I care about is you right now, okay? I’m never letting you go anywhere without me ever again, I’m going to make sure this never happens to you more than once, it shouldn’t have happened at all! God, what if you really had died? There’s no one more important to me, and I’m sorry I never told you, but I’m in love with you, I have been for years, and what if you’d died and I never got to—”
“Shh,” Jasper whispered, his expression softened even more if that was possible, hand shakily battling its way towards you to cup your cheek, thumb weakly wiping away the new wave of tears that had begun to fall. “It’s okay, I love you too you know.”
“Really?”
“Really.”

The 100 stats (pt 4): Characters that have the most dialogue with Murphy over 7 seasons
Sharoza has done another round of interesting stats about The 100 relationships - after Clarke, Bellamy and Octavia, here are stats about characters Murphy talked to the most over the course of the show. (I believe she’s said Raven is next, and she’ll doing requests by people on Reddit, including Kane, Jasper and Indra.)
Characters that have the most dialogue with Clarke (Reddit post)
Characters that have the most dialogue with Bellamy (Reddit post)
Characters that have the most dialogue with Octavia (Reddit post)
Characters that have the most dialogue with Murphy (Reddit post)
Some interesting observations she’s made in the post:
Murphy & Emori are in the top 3 when it comes to the relationships with the most dialogue in the show. With 562 lines together, the only pairs that beat them are Bellamy & Clarke (972) and Bellamy & Octavia (630).
I’m not surprised by that after season 7. I’ve always loved Memori, but I didn’t expect them to end up both lasting and being so focused on throughout the show. They ended up being one of the very few things (maybe the only thing?) that season 7 did not destroy (although they still got screwed up with the whole - sterilized and the last of the human race thing. I would’ve had given them an ending where they had two kids and one has a genetic mutation and the other doesn’t, and they’re treated the same by everyone.) Maybe JRoth never learned that there are actually Memori shippers out there, so he didn’t feel compelled to ruin them?
I’m curious to find out what the rest of the top 10 looks like. I’m guessing that Kabby and Jasper/Monty will be very high on the list; plus Marper, Kane and Jaha, Kane and Indra, Jaha and ALIE, Abby and Jaha, Abby and Raven etc.? Out of the dynamics that have been covered so far in Sharoza’s stats (Clarke’s, Bellamy’s, Octavia’s and Murphy’s relationships), the next ones after these 3 are Clarke and Abby (486), Clarke and Raven (484), Clarke and Finn (435) and Clarke and Lexa (401).
In any case, I find it quite interesting that Bellamy is not just the definite #1 (and far ahead of everyone else) for both Clarke and Octavia (which I was sure he would be), making those the two most prominent relationships in the show, but is also #2 for Murphy. This just confirms what we knew all along - that Bellamy was really the heart of the show, as he was at the heart of the group and had important relationships with so many of the main characters, probably more than any other character (even more so than Clarke, and the difference between Bellamy’s stats and Octavia’s or Murphy’s is really obvious - those two spend a lot of time during the show away from the main group) - until season 7.
Some other observations by SharozaL
Murphy basically becomes the male lead in S7, with the most dialogue he's ever had (over 500).
S1 and S2 are his lowest seasons for dialogue - these are the 2 seasons where he's only a guest star, not a regular.
She also notes that season 5 was his lowest season as a regular in terms of dialogue, and that Murphy tends to be separated from the other mains a lot. This is one of the reasons why he doesn’t have that many developed relationships with the mains - his top 3 are Emori, Bellamy and Raven, but the next one is Jaha. He also usually interacts a lot with whoever the season’s antagonist is:
Murphy has a lot of dialogue with villains. It seems a common theme for him is when he gets isolated from the group, he somehow finds himself getting caught up with the antagonists - like Jaha, Titus, Ontari, Pike, McCreary, Josephine, Russell, Nikki, Shiedheda. Most of these interactions are only for a season or less. But having a smaller circle of people he consistently talks to ends up leaving open spots in his top 20. Since he usually has these lengthy conversations with villains spanning multiple episodes, they can quickly rise up in his rankings. But that's why he's a cockroach :) It's interesting to see how he survives and plays off of them.

Stats for 10 Specific Characters
Sharoza has done such an incredible job and it must have taken time and effort - so it’s understandable when she makes a small mistake in editing a picture - you’ll notice in the post that she wrote both the wrong episode number and title for the #2 episode with most Bellamy-Murphy dialogue (which she put correctly in Bellamy’s post) - it says 1x01 We Are Grounders Pt 2 instead of 1x12 We Are Grounders Pt 1... so I did a bit of photoshopping in order not to cause confusion (as well as I could - the fonts aren’t the same).

09 - Negotiations
Summary: Unity day has arrived, and Y/n gets a little too drunk, revealing a truth she didn’t know she had. Once morning arrives, she meets with Anya at the bridge in hopes to not repeat history, but things go south quicky when Jasper fires the first shot.
Word Count: 3.20k
Based Off: 01x09 “Unity Day”
A/N: The next few chapters, along with this one, are my favourites just because it gets more into Y/n and Bellamy’s relationship
You and the others gathered around the screen that Raven had set up for camp to watch Jaha recite his Unity Day speech. You weren’t exactly listening, but you were brought back to Earth when Jasper came out of his and Monty’s tent with a large container.
“Whoo! Yeah! Monty strikes again!” He removed the goggles from his eyes, running out into the middle of camp. “Call this batch Unity Juice!”
You laughed at your brother’s antics but went over to him to have a drink with everyone else. He started to fill everyone’s cups and as you waited, you noticed Octavia slipping out of camp.
You decided you would ask about it later, but for now you wanted to have some fun. You realised that you were on the edge of the group and may not be able to get any drinks at the moment, so you went back to Jaha’s speech.
“The first Exodus ship launches in 60 hours, carrying the reinforcements that you need, so stay strong.” He informed you. You noticed your father's face on the far right side of the screen, but didn’t make a sound about it. He was likely going to be on the first ship with Clarke’s mother and almost all of the other important people, so you would have to face him at some point.
You began watching the pageant, which always had been the best part about Unity Day for you, until the radio signal cut out. “What was that?”
“Probably just interference, I’ll see if I can get it back up and running.” Raven responded, moving to the radio. You nodded and shook off your nerves. Worse things have happened.
The Unity Day party had progressed very far into the night as teenagers drank and drank. You only had two drinks so far, but excused yourself from conversation with Monroe to approach Bellamy, who was watching the party instead of joining in the fun. You saw Clarke approach him too, but continued with your walk.
“Hey, the comms are still dead.” She told the two of you.
“Best Unity Day ever.” Bellamy commented.
“I’m pretty sure there’s one that beats this,” You defended.
“Oh really? Tell me, princess, which one beats this?” Bellamy asked, motioning out to the raging party in front of you.
“Unity Day. 12 years ago. I was the storyteller, 9 years old. Got up there and puked my guts out three minutes into the pageant.”
“Okay, that definitely beats this. I have to see the tapes when they come down.” Bellamy laughed.
“Wait, that was you?” Clarke asked, and you nodded. “Oh my God, I remember that! Four other kids threw up because they couldn’t stand the sight of it, me included.”
Bellamy just laughed harder, and you shook your head. “Do you really knink now is a good time to be having a party, though?” Clarke turned serious. “I mean, the grounder is out there.”
“Grounders.” Bellamy emphasized. “By now, he’s made it home. He’s probably putting together a lynch mob.”
When he saw Clarkes stress, he spoke again. “Relax. I got security covered. Why don’t you go get a drink?”
“Why don’t you?” You asked him. “Clarke isn’t the only one who could use a drink, Bellamy.”
“I could use more than one,” Clarke commented.
“Then have more than one.” When she shook her head, Bellamy told her, “Clarke, the Exodus ship carrying your mother is coming down in two days. After that, the party’s over. Have some fun while you still can. You deserve it.”
Clarke agreed and walked away to get herself a drink.
“What about you?” You asked.
“What about me?”
“You can’t tell Clarke to relax and have a drink if you’re not going to. That makes you a hypocrite, you know.” You smirked. Bellamy rolled his eyes playfully and you laughed.
“Well if you’re not going to drink, then I guess I’ll just drink for the both of us then.” You smirked at Bellamy and walked away while still facing him before turning around to grab your second drink and continue talking to Monroe.
You had about four drinks so far, and because you’d never had any type of alcohol before, you were still a bit of a lightweight. Of course, you were sober enough to know what was going on, but you were less tight-lipped and more… loose with what you were saying and doing.
You had been roped into a game of truth or dare with Monroe, Harper, Jasper, and Monty a little while ago, and playing drunk - even if you were only tipsy - was better than playing sober.
You sat around the fire and Monroe had asked you if you wanted truth or dare. Everyone was less incapacitated than you were, because you held your word with Bellamy; you were going to drink for two people. “Truth,” You slurred.
Monroe laughed and asked you, “If you had to, would you have sex with Bellamy?”
You thought over her words for a minute, before looking up from the fire and answering casually.
“Hell yeah I’d jump his bones,” Your answer had everyone practically in stitches, but as you thought over your answer you added, “If I absolutely had to.”
And almost immediately after that, a very sober Bellamy looped your arm over the back of his neck and hoisted you up, putting an arm around your waist in an attempt to steady you. “I’m gonna take her back to her tent before she says or does anything else incredibly stupid.” He told the group, carrying you off to your tent.
Once you were inside and had your jacket off, Bellamy laid you down and covered you up with the makeshift blanket you had, thinking back to what you had just said while you giggled about nothing.
“Would you actually have sex with me?” He asked bashfully.
You stopped your giggling and motioned for Bellamy to come closer.
“Hell yeah, I would. You’re hot.” You said, giggling again and reaching up to boop his nose. Bellamy blushed, although he couldn’t place why. You passed out soon after you told him, and he left the confines of your tent to get some air.
It didn’t take long for you to wake up again, more sober than before. Your face was screwed up, indicating that you were confused. Your brain was lagging and your movements and reflexes were slower than normal, which was understandable. You remembered everything up until sitting around the fire with Monroe, Harper, Jasper, and Monty. Then it got hazy.
“How long have I been out?” You asked Clarke as you made your way towards her.
“Surprisingly, not that long. Bellamy carried you into your tent about an hour ago.” She said. “Speaking of, when he left the tent he looked about as red as the apple he was eating earlier; care to explain?”
“I would love to, but I can’t remember much after I was at the fire.” You groaned. There was a dull throbbing at the back of your head, one that you could deal with, but was ultimately annoying as hell.
You stayed with Clarke to keep yourself out of trouble, as she only sipped very slowly on her drink in case anything were to happen. She was playing some drinking game while you stood by and watched her with amusement. It was when Finn came by and interrupted her that you stepped up.
“What is it?” She asked.
“Let’s take a walk. The three of us.” He motioned to you as well, and you left the party.
“Did something happen?” Clarke asked.
“I need you both to come with me, but I can’t tell you why, okay?” He asked.
“Finn, tell us why.” Clarke demanded.
He looked back at the party and dragged you further away from it, speaking in a low tone. “I set up a meeting with the grounders.”
“A meeting? I don’t understand. With who? And how?” Clarke asked.
“I was just with the grounder that we had in the dropship. His name is Lincoln.” Finn told you both.
“Wait a second,” You interjected. “He spoke to you?”
“It’s not important.” He told you. “If we want to live in peace-”
“Finn, we can’t live in peace with people who have done nothing but kill us.” Clarke said.
“Can you think of a better way to stop the bloodshed?” He asked her.
“Yeah. With the guns that the guard brings down.” Clarke responded.
“You really want a war?” Finn asked angrily. “Because at this rate, that’s what's coming.”
“Actually, I’m on Finn’s side, here.” You told her. “I mean, if we threaten them with guns and violence they’ll only retaliate worse. If I’ve learned anything from reading history book after history book in solitary, it was the same way thousands of years ago.”
“The British came to what was called Canada in the 1800’s and there were Native Americans already living there, so the British forced them to conform to their ways and slaughtered them and oppressed them for years. They buried the Native Americans culture for decades and they were forced to deal with it. I don’t want to be a part of repeating history and causing unnecessary violence, Clarke.” You taught her.
“Look,” Finn resumed. “I know it’s a long shot, but this is our world now, and I think we can do better than the first time around.”
Clarke looked doubtful, so Finn told her that he trusted Lincoln.
“I don’t.” Clarke rebutted. “But if we go, we have to bring backup.”
“No way,” Finn disagreed. “We’re not bringing guns. Those weren’t the terms, and if we’re gonna do this, we’ve got to give it a fair shot.” Clarke sighed, but agreed. You went to get your pack and jacket while Clarke went to get hers, instructing you to meet at the gate. You took off the daggers on your thighs and removed the sword from your hip before meeting the pair at the gate and heading off.
“I would love it if you were right about this, but did you ever consider it might be a trap?” Clarke asked.
“Yeah, but since it’s Unity Day, I decided to have hope instead.” Finn responded cheekily.
“I hope your hope doesn’t get me killed, Finn. I tried it once, it didn't work well with me.” You shook your head at the memory of literally almost dying at the hands of a grounder.
“Seriously, Finn. You’re putting a lot of faith in a guy who stuck a knife in Y/n.” Clarke nodded to you.
“Eh, it’s fine. Really; I’d rather die trying to get peace than kill others without.” You shrugged.
“And you’re sounding more and more like Bellamy.” Finn commented.
“I’m just trying to keep us alive.” Clarke affirmed.
The sun had risen by the time you got to the meeting place, which was an old bridge where Octavia waited. As she noticed you, you went up and hugged her.
“Did you set this up?” You asked her. She nodded and you let go of each other, Clarke barely giving each other time to fully let go before interrogating her.
“So you’re the one that helped the grounder escape.”
“I trust him, Clarke.” She told her.
“There’s a lot of that going around.” Clarke side-glanced Finn, who pointed out that someone was coming.
Running through the brush was Lincoln, and once Octavia caught sight of the man, she ran up to greet him with a hug. You smiled at the pair. Even though Lincoln had almost killed you, you felt happy that Octavia was happy with someone. She’d basically been alone her whole life and she found someone who believed in her.
Then, there was the sound of hoofbeats on the ground, and people came riding in on horses. You and Clarke gasped at the sight, having never seen them before. You, Finn and Clarke ran forward to Lincoln, Finn exclaiming that there wasn’t supposed to be any weapons.
“I was told there wouldn’t be.”
You and Clarke began to walk forward with Finn, who was stopped by Lincoln. “They go alone.”
You and Clarke nervously walk forward to meet the woman who wasn’t hearing a face covering. You silently decided between some glances that you would do most of the talking, to avoid any unnecessary bloodshed or misunderstandings between yourselves and the grounders.
You met in the middle of the bridge. The grounder looked you both up and down before speaking. “Your name is Y/n?” She asked you. You nodded.
“And you are Clarke?” She asked Clarke, who also nodded. “I’m Anya.” She introduced herself.
Clarke stuck out her hand to shake, but Anya just looked at it before Clarke pulled away.
“I think we got off to a rough start,” You began. “But we all want to find a way to live together in peace.”
“I understand,” Anya responded. “You started a war that you don’t know how to end.”
“What? No, we didn’t start anything.” You spoke, trying to explain, but Clarke interjected.
“You attacked us for no reason.” You glared at Clarke, and tried to explain yourself, but Anya spoke up before you could.
“No reason? The missiles you launched burned a village to the ground.”
“The flares?” You realised. “No, that was a signal that was meant for our families. We had no idea-”
“You’re invaders.” Anya interrupted. “Your ship landed in our territory.”
“We realise that we’re invaders.” You spoke up again. “We didn’t know that anyone was here, we believed that the earth wasn’t survivable. We thought the ground was uninhabited.”
“You knew we were here when you sent an armed raiding party to capture one of us and torture him.”
You looked down and sighed at Bellamy’s actions.
“These are all acts of war.”
“I see your point, Anya. I do. I’ve read enough history books to realise that this is a repeat of what happened centuries ago. And that’s why we came here. To put an end to all of this before it starts.” You informed her.
“Lincoln said more of you are coming down, warriors.” Anya questioned.
“Yes, the guard. But also farmers, doctors, engineers.” You persuaded. “We can help each other. But not if we’re at war.”
“Can you promise that these new arrivals won’t attack us? That they’ll respect the terms you and I agree on?” She asked.
“I can’t give a full guarantee right now, we would have to get our radio working again and talk with the council, but we will do everything in our power to get them to honour the terms that we’ve set.” You told her truthfully.
“Why would I agree to an alliance that your people could break the moment they get here?” Anya raised her voice in anger.
“If you fire the first shot, those people coming down won’t bother negotiating.” You told Anya. You were seeing more and more how this was like the history books that you collected. You didn’t want to be like the British, and that’s why you were here in the first place.
“Our technology,” You spoke again. “They will wipe you out without hesitation, and I’m trying to prevent that.”
“They wouldn’t be the first to try.” Anya spoke.
“Y/n, Clarke! Run!” Jasper called out from beside the river, startling you. He began firing shots at the trees across the river, grabbing your attention as Anya pulled a dagger from her sleeve, but Bellamy shot her in the arm before she could move another inch.
She ran back to her horses and you locked eyes with Bellamy as Finn called for you both to get down and avoid any arrows or bullets. As you leapt to the ground, an arrow very narrowly missed your arm, creating a small cut on your shoulder. “Finn, get back!” Clarke called out.
He didn’t listen and instead grabbed the both of you and hauled you up, dragging you away from the bridge as grounders still fired arrows at you, one landing in Lincoln’s chest. He broke it off and instructed the four of you to run back to camp and not to stop until you get there.
You ran behind Clarke with Raven, Jasper, and Octavia ahead of the two of you, and Bellamy and Finn just behind.
Nightfall came once you reached camp, finally slowing down. You breathed heavily along with the others who tried to catch their breath.
“What the hell was that?!” You shouted angrily at the group.
Bellamy and Finn glared at one another until Bellamy spoke up, ignoring your question. “You got something to say?”
“Yeah. I said no guns!” He yelled.
“I told you we couldn’t trust the grounders! And I was right.” Clarke shouted at Finn.
“Why didn’t you tell me what you were up to?” Raven asked her boyfriend.
“I tried, but you were too busy making bullets for your gun!” He defended.
“You’re lucky she brought that!” Bellamy interrupted. “They came there to kill you, Finn.”
“You don’t know that!” You shouted for the first time since your arrival. “Jasper fired the first shot!”
“You ruined everything.” Octavia blamed him. His face turned into a look of hurt as she gave him a disgusted look. Before turning around and heading into camp.
“I saved you!” He yelled after her. “You’re welcome.” He scoffed, heading inside after her.
“Well if we weren’t at war already, we sure as hell are now.” You glared at Bellamy, who ignored your gaze.
“You didn’t have to trust the grounders, Clarke.” Finn told her. “You just had to trust me.”
You conveyed a look of hurt and betrayal to Bellamy as you followed Finn and Raven to head to your tent to sleep, although there was a guarantee you wouldn't get much. Your shoulder began to burn a little where your surface wound was, as the adrenaline of running and yelling kept it away.
Before you even walked past the middle of the camp, a loud explosion caught your attention, as well as the rest of camp’s.
You looked up to see something entering the atmosphere, which you assumed was the Exodus ship.
“Huh. I guess they’re early.” Octavia commented from beside you. You hadn’t even noticed she was there.
You watched as it came closer to the ground, but became increasingly worried. “Hold on. They’re going too fast. And no parachute? Something’s wrong.”
You watched it hurtle towards the ground and crash in between two mountains, a large mushroom cloud floating upwards into the air. Your heart stopped beating in your chest as you grabbed Octavia’s forearm in shock.
Your grandmother. Your father. They were both supposed to be on the ship. “No,” You whispered. Tears brimmed your eyes, making your vision cloudy as you shook your head.
“No. No, no, no!” You sobbed, nearly collapsing as Octavia pulled you into her arms for support.
She pulled you into your tent and sat down on the bed with you, letting you rest your head in her lap while she stroked your hair and covered you with the blanket. You cried into her lap until you fell asleep, but Octavia never left your side that night.

Is no one going to comment on the fact that Miller is now somewhere warm and he can try to surf somehow? I'm glad he gets to have a planet he can be happy on.
BUT...
My kids are happy and together and that's all incare about. I'm really happy with the finale tbh. Murphy, Emori, Raven, Octavia, Miller (my kids) are finally at somewhat peace and are happy and are now living their best lives (still really pissed that they can't have any offspring, like bicth i was expecting a Memori baby but noooo)
Indra, Gaia, Echo and Niylah who were born on the ground, don't have to fight anymore and can finally live their lives without worrying about their next war
Jackson and Miller are just the cutest and my heart is soft for them
Clarke. I know I've not liked you for years but I'm glad that she got to see Lexa again (MY LOVE) I'm sad that she wasn't able to have Madi with her but she can now rest and not start anymore genocides (please note the lowkey humor)
LEVITT oh baby boy I'm glad he wasn't using our O and actually likes her. I'm glad Octavia has found someone to be happy with. I know that Lincoln would of been proud of her.
PICASSO SURVIVED!! I WAS ABOUT TO START A RIOT IF THEY KILLED HER. I WAS READY TO THROW SOME HANDS IF THEY KILLED HER PRECIOUS SOUL OFF. I'm glad they didn't.
I wish there was kids with them, you know? Like they deserved to grow up on that little beach area and they deserved to be loved
Why there wasn't any nod/thanks to Monty and Harper idk. Or other characters talking about others that we've lost like my bby boy Jasper and I guess...Finn
Also, did Clarke just forget that Wells ever existed?
No mention of Kane? - disappointed but not surprised
No mention of a last Fuck You to Jaha? - wasted opportunity (I loathe that man for being an arsehile to my son Murphy)
But I honestly liked the finale in some ways. The music was beautiful, ugh I'm happy. I rewatxhed the first episode and omg they were all babies and its mad to see how far they've all came.

Random Thoughts #7
Hellllllo, yes I’m doing another one of these. No I wont stop.
Anyway, I was pondering on what 7B might look like, all the wonderful possibilities that lie within getting Clarke into the ‘see into their minds’ chair (yes I’ve forgotten the name) and a thought occurred to me: what if that’s how they change the outcome? What if, instead of fighting another war and wiping out another people, they SHOW them how badly that always ends? What if they use Clarke’s memories to show them exactly what war costs. Show them Clarke’s life since her dad’s execution and her trip to solitary for nearly a year when she was 17! Show them the 100 being so expendable to their own government that they were sent to Earth to die, and yet ended up somewhat thriving. Show them what we’ve seen while watching the show, at least from Clarke’s point of view.
Show them...better yet show the people who survived with her what it cost her.
Show Octavia Clarke saving Lincoln and her calling him her people while refusing to let him sacrifice himself. Show her Lexa trying to have her killed and Clarke not only standing up to her but threatening her if she ever tried to hurt Octavia again. Show her Clarke breathing life into her after Echo stabbed her. Show her Clarke supporting Bellamy when he was at a loss of how to be a good brother to Octavia, and forgiving him when he couldn’t forgive himself. Show her the stories Clarke told Madi about the girl under the floor.
Show Raven her relationship with Finn from the beginning and Clarke turning him down after she found out about Raven so she can stop telling herself Finn was the victim. Show Finn’s relieved face after the massacre, and his thanks to Clarke when she killed him quickly. Show her the ghost of him that Clarke saw for days after his death. Show her the ‘sister’ she was in equal parts friend and biggest critic.
Show Murphy the times she convinced Bellamy to let him stay at camp, the times she tried her best to protect him even if she failed in the long run. Remind him of how far he came from the Dropship to now.
Show Bellamy what she saw when she looked at him, the ways she loved him without him realising.
Show them their actions from Clarke’s point of view; every blow, verbal or physical. Every snide remark and sneering set-down. Every hug and win. Every impossible decision she was forced to make. The small sprinkles of happiness between the horror and pain.
Show them how Clarke broke over and over again and yet still put one foot in front of the other for people who treated her as if she was nothing but a monster.
Show them everyone she’s lost: Her father, Wells, Finn, Lexa, 96/100 or 97/102 delinquents, Jasper, Monty, Harper, her mum and now (she thinks) Bellamy.
Show them all the joys and agonies of her life and the pain she felt and inflicted. Then show them that she still has her heart of compassion and she still strives for peace. That after everything she’s already suffered, she would still choose to feel all of it instead of blissful nothingness because: “There is no joy without pain.”
Show them her joy when Bellamy Blake turns up alive and pulls her from the chair and into his arms.

Chasing Butterflies: Contents Under Pressure
Hello all! I hope you all enjoy this chapter and as always constructive criticism is appreciated. If you want to get added to any of my taglists let me know. And of course, if you have any questions or requests feel free to ask. Also italics are a memory.
Season 1; Episode 7: Contents Under Pressure Pairings: OC x OC best friends, no love interests chosen yet Warnings: Near death, mention of death Word Count: 2,392
Season 1 Masterlist
As heavy rain started pouring from the sky's, delinquents made their way into the dropship. Over the noise of the rowdy delinquents, Raven is talking into the radio, "This is Raven Reyes. Calling Ark Station. Come in Ark Station. This is Raven Reyes. Please come in. Can anybody hear me?"
A female delinquent near her asks, "Are you sure you have the right frequency?"
Forcefully, Raven replies, "Yeah, I'm sure."
"Raven? You can do this. Okay?" Clarke reassures the girl.
Raven gives a firm nod then tries once more, "Calling Ark Station. Please come in. I'm on the ground with the hundred."
Finally a man answers, "This is a restricted station. Who is this? Please identify yourself.”
Raven, relieved, answers, "This is Raven Reyes. I'm from Mecha Station. I'm transmitting from the ground. The hundred are alive. Please, you need to get Doctor Abby Griffin. Doctor Abby Griffon. Now."
Over the radio, Sinclair is heard, "Hang on Raven, we're trying to boost your signal."
Knowing that voice from anywhere Elara looks up from Finn, "Dad?" She questions.
There's a brief pause, "Elara?"
Elara smiles, "Hi dad.”
"Hi princess." The smile was evident in his voice. "I'm glad you're alright." There is a brief pause, "Hold on while we get everything set up on this side."
Nova looks at Elara and smiles, happy to see her friend smiling. They wait to hear someone from the Ark, "Raven? Are you there?" Abby asks.
"Mom? Mom, it's me." Clarke says.
"Clarke?"
"Mom, Elara and I need your help. One of our people was stabbed by a Grounder."
Jaha's voice is heard next, "Clarke. This is the Chancellor. Are you saying there are survivors on the ground?"
"Yes, the Earth is survivable. We're not alone. Mom, he's dying. The knife is still in his chest."
"Okay, can you patch me through to medical?" Abby asks.
"Of course." Sinclair replies.
"Clarke, is my son with you?" Jaha questions.
Clarke hesitates not sure how to answer, "I'm so sorry, Chancellor. Wells died." Elara answers.
"Is my daughter there? Is Nova alive?" Marcus Kane asks.
The girls turn to Nova, she shakes her head not wanting to answer. "She is but she's busy right now." Elara says.
Then Abby is heard once more, "I'm going to talk you through it, step by step. Clarke... just... find." Abby gets cut off.
"What! Raven what's wrong?" Clarke asks.
Raven begins panicking, "It's not the radio. It's the storm."
"Clarke, we need to hurry." Abby says over the radio.
Octavia walks into the dropship carrying two canisters. Clarke smells it, "Ugh. Monty's moonshine?"
"Pretty sure no germ could survive it." Octavia replies.
Elara and Clarke quickly pour some over their hands, making sure to get off any dirt that may be covering them. They then avoid touching anything so that their hands stay as clean as possible.
"The storm's getting worse. Monroe, close the doors." Clarke says.
"But we still have people out there." Monroe replies.
"Monty and Jasper still aren't back yet. Neither is Bellamy." Octavia says.
"It's okay, they'll find somewhere to ride it out." Clarke reassures.
Raven grunts to gain Elara and Clarke's attention. "One stitching needle." She says when both girls look at her. She held out the needle.
Elara, who is the closest to her, takes it from her hand. She wets it with the moonshine as Clarke speaks, "I still need something to close the wound."
"There's wire on the second level. I used it for the tents." Octavia says.
"Great let's see it." Octavia rushes upstairs to get the wire.
"Stay away from the blue wires that run through the ceiling. I rigged it to the solar cells in the roof. That means they're hot! You got that?" Raven tells the younger Blake.
"Yeah, I got it." Octavia says, continuing up the ladder leading to the second level.
Just as Octavia walks down the ladder, Bellamy steps through the dropship door. "The hell are you doing?" Octavia snaps at her brother.
Two boys behind Bellamy are dragging the unconscious Grounder. "It's time to get some answers." Bellamy simply says.
"Oh you mean revenge?"
"I mean intel." Bellamy turns to the two boys, "Bring him to the third level."
"This is going to cause more problems." Elara huffs, gesturing to the Grounder.
"This is not who we are." Clarke states.
"It is now." Bellamy answers, moving to head upstairs.
"Clarke? Elara?" Abby asks.
"The blade is at a sharp upward angle. Between his sixth and seventh rib." Clarke answers her mother.
"Okay, how deep?"
"We can't tell."
"That's alright, just don't remove the knife yet."
Elara looks over to the group of delinquents crowding around. "We can't work like this." She says as she watches two boys push and shove each other.
Hearing Elara's complaint, Nova stands up and loudly whistles. "Everyone upstairs. Now! Let's go!" Not wanting to argue against the girl, everyone starts clearing the first level.
Elara gently places the back of her hand on Finn's forehead, "He feels a little warm."
"That's alright, fever sometimes accompanies a trauma. Can either of you girls tell me if there is any fluid leaking from the wound?" Abby asks.
"No." Clarke answers as she inspects the wound.
"Pleural membrane is intact. That's good. That's actually really good. You got lucky."
Raven smiles at Finn and whispers to him, "Hear that? You got lucky."
*_*_*_*_*_*
"Nova? Are you ready?" Marcus Kane calls his daughter.
"I don't want to train today, daddy." Nova says as she walks out of her room.
"Nova, sweetie, your training is important. You need to know self defense."
"Why? It's not like I can ever use it. If I do I'll just get thrown in the sky box."
"You won't get thrown in the sky box if it's in self defense. The only way I expect you to use any of these things is if you're in danger."
"But why would I be in danger?"
"Because I'm the Vice Chancellor and some people don't like that." Marcus sighs, trying to explain to Nova.
"Chancellor Jaha isn't making Wells learn self defense though!" Nova tries to argue.
"I know, but it's my decision. This will only benefit you in the end."
Nova rests her head on the wall behind her and closes her eyes as she thinks about her dad making her take self defense classes when she was younger. Who would have thought she would actually use those lessons years later?
Nova reaches her hand up to wipe sweat from her forehead. She hears Abby address Clarke through the radio, "Ok, firm grip on the knife. You're gonna need to angle it upward to the left very slightly to the left as it exits the rib cage."
"How very slightly?" Clarke asks her mom.
"Clarke, 3-" The rest of the sentence cuts off.
"Wait what was that you dropped out?"
"3 millimeters you got that?"
"Yeah, I got that."
"Steady hand Clarke. You've eviscerated more procedures than this. Once that knife is out the hard part is over."
Thunder is heard outside as Clarke begins to firmly grip the knife, "Alright, extracting now."
Finn starts to open his eyes and he grunts in pain. "Hold him still." Elara says, gesturing for Raven to help.
Clarke mumbles for Finn to stay still. With one big pull, the knife slips out. At the same time the storm outside jostles the delinquents, sending them to the ground.
"Clarke?" Abby asks.
"It's out. She did it." Raven answers.
Clarke quickly gets to work stitching up Finn's wound. Once she finishes, with some help from Elara, she addresses her mom, "Okay, I'm done."
"Good. Do you have anything to cover the wound?" Abby questions.
"We'll make do, like always." Clarke replies.
"Should he be this pale?" Raven asks, looking down at Finn with worry.
"He's lost a lot of blood, he'll be fine." Elara says, laying a gentle hand on the mechanic's shoulder.
"He's feverish though and his breathing is uneven." Clarke states.
"Elara is right. It's nothing to worry about. He just needs some time to recover. Let me know if he gets any worse but I think he might just be out of the woods." Abby says.
"Well down here there's nothing but woods. I need a break." Clarke sighs.
"Clarke, wait. Raven, Elara could you give us a few minutes?"
The two girls begin to say yes but Clarke stops them, "No, no. Stay with Finn." Without waiting for a reply she turns to head upstairs.
Elara turns her attention to Nova, who has been silent since she evacuated the bottom floor.
"Nov? Are you alright?" Elara asks.
Nova blinks her eyes open, "Hm? Yeah. It's just warm down here."
Elara, concerned, walks over to the girl and puts her hand to her forehead. Nova tries to shove it off but Elara doesn't let her, "You have a fever."
"I'm fine Lara."
Before Elara can argue with her more, Raven gets her attention, "Elara he's seizing!"
At this moment Nova stands up and shakily makes her way to the stairs. She climbs up them, slowly, until she reaches the third level. She pushes the door open. All eyes turn to her but nobody says anything, knowing that there is no point in arguing with the girl.
"Clarke, Finn is seizing." Is all Nova says, before she makes her way to the wall of the dropship to rest some more.
"What?" Clarke chokes out, she rushes to the ladder to make her way back down to the first level.
As Nova makes her journey upstairs, Elara rushes to Finn's side. She holds him steady until the seizing stops, then pushes him onto his side to make sure that his airway isn't blocked.
She checks his pulse and sighs in relief when she sees that he's still breathing. Just as she does this Clarke comes down the steps.
"Nova said he was seizing." Clarke says, joining Elara.
"He's fine now. His pulse is weak though. And why the hell did Nova go up there? I think she's sick." Elara says.
"Wait, Nova is sick?"
"She looked it. She's really hot and she could barely keep her eyes open."
"I've seen this before. Shortness of breath, fever, seizing it's poison."
I look of realization flashes across Elara's eyes as she turns her head to look at the knife. "Elara was cut with it before Finn got stabbed."
*_*_*_*_*_*
Right after Clarke left, Miller shuts the hatch behind her. Bellamy turned to look at Nova but her eyes were trained on the Grounder who was staring back at her. "You look like shit."
Nova humorlessly chuckles, "Thanks, that's what every girl is dying to hear." As she speaks her eyes stay trained on the Grounder in front of her.
Bellamy follows her eyes and notices that the Grounder keeps looking at her, "Why the hell are you looking at her?"
The Grounder remains silent, not breaking his gaze from the petite girl. Suddenly, Nova's eyes roll to the back of her head. She slumps to the ground and begins seizing.
Bellamy rushes over, "Clarke, Elara! Nova is seizing!" He yells, unsure of what to do.
Not even a minute later Clarke is by Nova's side - she was already on her way up to figure out what the antidote was from the Grounder. She waits by her side until Nova's seizing stops. She pushes her onto her side and makes sure that there is nothing left in her airway.
"What's happening to her and Finn?" Bellamy asks.
"The knife was poisoned." She rushes over to the Grounder. Bellamy and Clarke start to work together to try and get him to tell her what the antidote is, but the Grounder won't budge.
After a few minutes Raven rushes upstairs, "What's taking so long? He's getting worse. He stopped breathing."
"What?" Clarke asks.
"Elara got him to start again but next time he might not."
"Uh guys, Nova isn't breathing." Miller says from behind them.
Clarke rushes over to her as Raven starts to try to get the Grounder to talk. Clarke does chest compressions then gives Nova mouth to mouth. Finally, she starts breathing on her own.
Still, the Grounder won't talk. Octavia, desperate to save Finn and Nova's lives and not wanting to see the Grounder hurt anymore, picks up the knife and cuts herself with it.
"Octavia!" Bellamy says, trying to stop her.
"He won't let me die. Which one is it?" She kneels down in front of the vials. When she gets to the antidote the Grounder nods.
She takes a small swig of the liquid in the vial and hands it to Clarke. Clarke forces some of the liquid down Nova's throat then rushes to the first level to give it to Finn.
As soon as Clarke steps foot onto the first level Elara asks, "Is Nova alright?"
Clarke nods as she is forcing Finn to drink the liquid. "Octavia got the Grounder to give us the antidote. She already had some."
Elara nods and let's out a relieved sigh. She turns and heads up stairs to check on Nova, leaving Finn with Clarke and Raven.
Octavia is upstairs when Elara arrives. She is carefully trying to clean the Grounder's wounds. Elara brushes some hair away from Nova's face and gently starts cleaning off the sweat from her forehead.
"You know your brother doesn't want you up here." The guy on guard says to Octavia. Octavia huffs and turns to leave.
Elara stands up quickly, "I'll clean him up."
Octavia nods at Elara, thankful that the girl is trying to help. She looks at the Grounder, "Please let her help. Okay?" She finally turns fully around and leaves the third level.
Elara sighs and slowly walks up to the grounder, "This might sting a little." She mumbles, carefully watching him as she wipes away the blood. The Grounder doesn't reply.
Elara only stops when the water is too dirty to continue, "I'll try to clean you up more. And I'll try to make sure they don't hurt you anymore. This isn't right." She whispers to the grounder. She turns her back to him and makes her way back over to Nova, waiting for the girl to wake up.

The 100 Rewatch 2023 Liveblog 1.08
Day Trip
Oh boy! The memories. This is the beginning of Bellarke for me.
We are going to post like men here. No editing. Forgive my typos. I touch type as i go and i may be fast but i'm not that accurate. I will remember to do a read more this time though. Because this is long.
We open with beefcake Lincoln strung up for torture. Honestly. That's rude. It's not sexy just because he's hot.
Miller told the dead kids parents the news that their kids were murdered by grounders. He wants "justice." and Bellamy says they're not killing him. Miller is an ass and puts mud on lLincoln and Lincoln headbutts him. LOL.
Talking to the Ark they want Clarke to find an emergency shelter for supplies. Diana Sydney is like nah. We're about to come down, the baby kids should stay put. Now Jaha is trying to get Clarke back with her mom but she blames him for betraying her dad, too.
Oh Dax is going to talk to "his parents" and it's Shumway to proposition him into murder. Just like he did Bellamy. But this time he wants B dead. Dax already beat a man to death. He's one of the murderers they talked about.
Now B and O are arguing about Lincoln. B is calling him an animal. Knock that off, kid.
Clarke wants to take Bellamy for the supply run at the depot. And he's suspicious. "I don't feel like being around anyone I actually like." Which he gets because hello Octavia.
Jasper and MOnty with grim humor. Don't worry about the grounder revenge. Byt the time they get here we'll be dead of hypothermia.
Ugh Clarke and Finn being all "I'll take care of you." ANd Raven is right there. "She's a big girl she can take care of herself." Then in comes Bellamy. ooh Finn is jealous. Bellamy is taking all the rations and Clarke is suspicious. "A lot can happen in a day." Foreshadowing. Sneaky Dax follows them out of the camp.
Miller goes to talk to Roma's parents and O sneaks up to Lincoln. She gives him water. Neat little canteen made out of what? Parachute? more beefcake as she cleans up his washboard abs and he is like smelling her or whatever. Y'all I don't like kidnapping/torture as a start to a romance. But this is better than most because he originally kidnapped her to keep her safe and she's trying to stop the torture.
He tells her his name because he wants her to remember him after he dies. "This only ends one way." Because he IS the enemy.
Clarke and Bellamy in the woods. I remember this. Bellarke in the wild. Bellamy is really feeling guilt and fear over the Jaha attempted murder.
Raven and Octabia in Camp. O is a mess. WOW they are catty to each other. O says "It must suck to come down here and find out your boyfriend is into someone else." OUCH. True but OUCH. Why is she so mean when she grew up with only two supportive people? Yes she should be messed up but should she be a meangirl?
Raven wants to do Finn and Finn wants to talk. "Something happened." She knows and she doesn't want to talk about it ever. She asks if he loves her "Always." I am puking. Stop kissing him. He's awful. Ew. She has the worst taste in men i swear. She NEVER got a good romantic partner. (Princess Mechanic)
Clarke finds a door Bellamy smacks it with his axe. Down they go into the bowels. Mummified bodies. The place is disgusting. No supplies. Boo. Ooh some orange blankets. Bellamy is mad there's no canteen or medkit or decent fricking tent.
A barrel full of oil. Bellamy temper boy kicks it over and VIOLA OMG GUNS. HUGE BELLAMY SMILE
Monty is tripping. Fermented nuts?Or hallucinogenic. Now Jasper is tripping but it's not as nice as Monty's trip. He sees grounders everywhere. Scary. He runs to O for help. She figures out that he's on something. HE tells her he loves her. She figures it's the nuts. She gives him an anti-grounder stick so the grounders won't be able to see him. "Makes sense."
We could have used more of that O in the bunker in season 5.
She gives Miller the hallucinogenic nuts. Lincoln knows.
:Ready to be a bad ass Clarke?" She doesn't want the guns but she knows they need them. SO he offers her shooting lessons.
Oooh. He reaches around her and touches her shoulder, his voice gets smoky and steps back from her. I forgot about the sexiness of that. Watch and learn. He tries to shoot and his bullets are duds.
"Still watching." smirky flirting. She shoots and BOOM. She likes it. B likes it htat she likes it. She's being responsible. "You left miller in charge of the grounders. You must trust him." He wants her to keep him close and she's like. OMG you're gonna run. He thinks the Ark are gonna kill him when they come down. O hates him, so he's leaving.
Tells her to keep practicing. He needs some air. THat was a SHORT scene. To base our Bellarke fantasies on for seven years.
Now he's tripping Jaha. Nightmare land coming up. "I did what I had to do." But Jaha calls him out for all his sins. Now he sees the 320 culling victims. Bellamy can't defend himself against that. All his guilt. He really feels it. Oooh. Sooky. All the dead people calling him murder and coming through the wilderness at him.
Now Clarke is tripping. She's back her jail cell in the Ark. See her dad.
Everyone in the deinguent camp is tripping and one kid is stripping so O takes his clothes.
Raven and Finn are naked in bed. M0nty pops in."I can't change the tide if the moon won't cooperate. It's basic physics."
Clarke realizes her dad vision is not real. The dad vision wants her to forgive her mom. Poor baby clarke is so young here. Everyone's counting on her and it's so hard. She's feeling guilt about torturing Lincoln. Dad says she did the best she could. This is the beginning of Clarke learning about forgiveness and why she could forgive Bellamy and Lxa and all those people.
NOW dad vision calls her a crazy bitch and turns into Dax.
O frees Lincoln. Gives him delinquent clothes. He thinks this will put her in danger. That's because he's a grounder and they are barbarians and would kill someone for doing what she's doing. Jobi nuts go bad and cause vision. So he can sneak out.
He kisses O.
Yo. You should really find a girl your own age man. She's what? 16? 17 at most.
Most beautiful broom in a broom closet of brooms. Raven taking care of the kids. Even Finn is taking care of the kids until he sees Lincoln escaping. He's like get on outta here. Which is, I have to give Finn his due, the best thing he does in a while. He forgives Lincolnd for stabbing him.
Bellamy bad tripping on his 'murder victims' He wants them to kill him. Jaha beats him up. "I can't fight any more." "don't you know? LIfe is a fight." "What am I supposed to do?""Live breathe suffer. if you want the peace of death you're going to have to earn it. You think you dserve to be free of your pain? You think you deserve that gift?"
But actually, the Jaha beating him up is Dax. "You shoulda stayed down there clarke I tried not to kill you. But Shumaway said no witnesses."
Walk away now and I won't kill you. You're choice. His gun misfires as he aims at clarke and Bellamy charges him. Fight. Dax has him on the ground. Clarke charges Dax and he slams her in the gut with the butt. B picks up a bullet and slams it into Dax's jugular. Not coincidentally the place where Clarke stabbed Atom to mercy kill him. A nice little callback.
Dax is gone, B and C are up against the tree. "Are you okay?" Clarke asks?
No I'm not. If my mother she knew what I'd done, who I am? She raised me to be better to be good and all I do is hurt people. I'm a monster."
"Hey you saved my life today. And you may be a total ass half the time, but... I need you."
The look on his face as he looks at her.
"We all need you. None of us would have survived if it weren't for you.
He looks away.
She tells him to come back with him. You have to face it. He says "Like you faced your mom."
You're right. I don't want to face my mom. I don't want to face any of it." She is obsessed with keeping everyone alie.
Why is the music so romantic right now?
Can we figure it out later?
Whenever you're ready.
Bullshit you didn't write this as romantic.
O is pretending that she got high too. She did not. Good cover. Miller says the grounder is gone. Jasper panics.
Bellamy is back. "LEt the grounders come" He's tired of being afraid. Looks at Clarke and they both drop the guns. Finn looks unhappy.
Team Bellarke. Leaders. Friends. Soulmates.
The story has just changed.
O is looking out into the woods. B comes up and gives her an oragne blanket. She takes it. "I don't expec tyou to forgive me but you'll have to find a way to live with me because I'm not going anywhere.
Clarke calls him in to speak to Jaha. B knows O helped the grounder escape. She says it wasnt her and thanks him for the blanket.
Jaha.
CLarke. When you sent us down here, you sent us to die, but miraculaously most of us are still alive and in large part that is because of bellamy." She wants him pardoned like the rest of them.
Bellamy doesn't depend on his better nature. He says "If you wnat to know who wants you dead." Jaha pardons him and asks for who gave him the gun.
Cut to Shumway being arrested. Kane is angry. Shumway thinks he's fighting for what he believes but won't say what that is.
Clarke checks Finn's wound and Finn tries to guilt her about the guns. And he tries to say that Bellamy is the real danger. Clarke TRUSTS him. Finn is horrified. That's because he knows B is his rival. "You and Bellamy are leading us down a dangerous road. I wish you'd talked to me about it first." WHEN was finn the leader? Fucking asswipe. She is like "I wish we talked about a lot of things."
Diana Sydney comes to Shumway and Diana has him killed.
I honestly do sympathize with Diana Sydney's position but she's such a horrible character (dare I say horrible actress I hate her D:) and her plans are so horrible that she, who should have been the good guy, becomes the bad guy. I'm usually for the proletariat, but Diana was vicious and stupid and mean and her plans were bad and unethical and selfish.

The Last War fan review
So, our beloved show has ended. And while I wish things would have gone differently, I did cry with relief when Clarke looked over and saw everyone already waiting for her.
Anyway, I wanted to share some of my thoughts on the finale.
1) Going right into the title sequence kind of shocked me. It wasn’t that big of a deal, but I was just immediately like “oh.” It was a bitch-slap in the face that they left a gap in the credits for Bob Morley. Why you gotta do us like that?
2) Murphy screaming “come on” while they used the defibrillator on Emori was heartbreaking. And his little whispered encouragements were so freaking cute.
3) Clarke rampage? Yes, please! I love me a badass woman. However, unlimited ammo is a sin in writing. The moment Octavia picked up the sword was a big “oh yes.”
4) Did Cadogan not care about his son like at all? Lmao. Why is he so hung up on Callie and not his other kid (who I can’t even remember the name of). I don’t care if they explain in the prequel, that’s still a shitty parent choosing favorites. Along with his wife, like, was she not his greatest love? It was Callie? Kinda fucked up.
5) Why the fuck could Jordan figure out it was a test and not a war in 5 seconds when the Disciples were studying that shit for decades? I know he’s Monty’s son, but he’s not a genius or anything.
6) Thoughts on the test: I think Cadogan would have failed and the human race would be destroyed. Why bother asking questions if you already know all the answers?
7) Why wasn’t Gaia in the finale like at all?? Like, what the fuck. She was hunting??? For what?? That really annoyed me because I’ve grown to really like her and there was no point in her not being involved in the last episode. They seriously couldn’t have thrown her in there? Like, come on! Even Niylah was there! (not saying that I don’t like her, it’s just that Gaia has felt far more important to the story than her).
8) I do think that Jasper and Hope are cute together, and I know they spent the majority of their lives either alone or only with their parents, but GOD I can’t stand how awkward they are. Also, I know ya’ll have feelings for each other and shit, but is now really the time to be making out?? Why do people think that’s okay in literally the worst situations? I know it’s a show, but come on.
9) And how the fuck did Jordan throw and catch that sword? He’s a child who’s never fought a day in his life. Unless they suddenly want to tell me that Harper and Monty were secret ninjas and taught him all their tricks, I don’t believe that.
10) I’m being pissy and bringing up things from the past, but I don’t care. Why the fuck couldn’t Harper and Monty gone into cryo? I know they were happy and shit, but I’M NOT. How the fuck did it take so long for him to get into the files for Sanctum? His ass has done that shit a thousand times before in about two minutes and suddenly it takes him 80 years? Bullshit.
11) I’m still being pissy, but how the fuck does Jordan know what a magician is? “For my first trick, I will make an army appear.” Bruh, no. Monty wouldn’t have known what a magician was either. If they weren’t being taught what a Navy Seal was, there’s no way they knew what magicians were. Calling bullshit on that one as well.
12) I was pretty surprised that the Disciples didn’t start firing on Wonkru immediately. Like, this is the war they’ve been gearing up for forever and they don’t attack as soon as possible? Also, where the fuck did Wonkru get their war paint? Do they just constantly have it on their person? Or did their asses literally spend time making their paint before going to Bardo?
13) I fucking love Miller and Jackson. They’re freaking adorable. Murphy’s flat “I am glad you are safe” was so fucking funny. Also, saving Emori in one scene just to kill her in the next is bullshit. They should have just killed her the first time and done the same thing anyway. Murphy screaming at Jackson to do something and sobbing was heartbreaking. Fantastic acting on Richard Harmon’s part.
14) Octavia putting on Lincoln’s same warpaint again was once again, so sad. I miss that man. He was too good for his own good. And while I do think that her and Levitt are very cute together, I’ll always prefer her with Lincoln. But I think that he would be really happy that she has found someone new to love.
15) Apparently whatever Echo “did” to Levitt was so forgettable that I don’t even know what she’s talking about. Bad writing. I shouldn’t forget that in just a few weeks, I should remember as soon as I see the two of them in the same room.
16) Lexa. Just all of it. There were some suspicions that she would show up for the last episode, but I didn’t really believe them because I didn’t understand how she would be integrated. I’m glad that they did bring her back, but I’m also not. It was amazing to see her back by Clarke in all of her armor and glory, but knowing it wasn’t actually Lexa was just a punch in the face. It wasn’t her mind, so it’s almost like they didn’t bring her back anyway. I honestly would have preferred if they used someone else for her Judge, because that just really didn’t do it for me. Their hug was sweet, but it didn’t even count as her returning. I personally think that her Judge should have been Bellamy or Madi instead, as they both certainly could fill the role of “the subject’s greatest teacher or the source of their greatest failure...it can be their greatest love.” This is just my preference. Believe me, I know how much Lexa meant to Clarke, but as a fan, bringing our favorite Heda back in that way wasn’t the best way to do it. As a writer, it makes sense, but it doesn’t as a fan. The writers can’t just think of what is the best storytelling, they have to think of what those watching will think.
17) I’m confused about the mindspace? Why did Clarke wake up in her solitary room with her memories painted all over the walls, but Emori woke up in the castle with a view of the desert? Why wouldn’t it have been her and Murphy’s cave? Is there a reason it was the bedroom and not the cave?
18) I know this isn’t canon in any sense, but could you imagine if Murphy and Emori fought over John’s body and she won, and then suddenly woke up with a penis? How fucking funny would that be? Just had to throw that out there.
19) Can I just again reiterate how fucking cute Miller and Jackson are?
20) I’m curious about the location of the test. Why did Cadogan’s take place on a pier, while Raven’s happened on the Ark? If it was their favorite place, wouldn’t Raven’s have been actually out in space? Like during a spacewalk? I’m confused about that.
21) I knew that Raven was somehow going to be involved in the test just because of the trailers we got for the final episode. My two guesses for who the judge would be were Finn and Abby. Though I am happy that we got to see Abby again, I would be curious to see if the scene would have played out any differently if it had been Finn.
22) Where was the full line that was given in the trailer? Because that was amazing. “We’re selfish, and we’re violent, and we have destroyed too much, but we survived.” I loved that line far more than what we got instead, which was simply, “Have we made mistakes? Yes. Clarke, me, all of us, but we were just trying to survive.” I definitely would have chosen the former over the latter. Poor choice on the editors’ parts.
23) How the fuck did Octavia and Echo go out to the field and get Levitt with Echo only being shot once? With all the bullets, the three of them should have been torn apart, I don’t care how much Indra could cover Octavia. Calling bullshit on that as well.
24) Bringing this up kind of late because I’m giving my reviews as I’m rewatching the episode, but what they had Eliza do was really fucked up. Her and Bob suffered a miscarriage during the filming of season seven, so the scene of her holding Madi and crying “my baby” is like 10 times more heartbreaking. If they made her film that after having a miscarriage mere days, weeks or few months before, that’s really, really messed up.
25) They really played-up Sheidheda’s bringing back of “jus drein jus daun” in the trailer. In reality, it was far less intense. I would have preferred what I had been expecting, which was him coming to help convince Wonkru that they would be able to win. However, I am super glad that he is dead and Indra finally got to kill him. I love how that bigass gun just turns people into mist lol.
26) The beginning of Octavia’s speech was literally like “what the FUCK guys” and it was hilarious. And I swear to god if I hear her say “we are Wonkru” or “you are Wonkru” another time, I’m gonna scream. I know it was legit the last episode but I’m sick of it by now lol. When Indra was like “I hope you know what you’re doing,” Octavia’s face was just like “omg me too” and it was really funny.
27) Bellamy. His situation was a whole problem itself. He deserved a hell of a lot better and wHY DID HE CUT HIS HAIR I LIKED IT THE LONG WAY. Anyway, you can bet your ass I’ll be writing a different ending where he didn’t die because FUCK THAT. When I do, I’ll be sure to share it.
28) I’m fucking confused about Murphy and Emori both transcending. Because, what the fuck. Emori died. The dead don’t transcend. Her mind wasn’t even in her body, it was in Murphy’s. So how the fuck did she end up alive and in her own body again. I’m glad she’s alive, but I just don’t understand. It would have made way more sense to have either not had her die in the first place, or to have Murphy, Miller, and Jackson keep pumping her heart so she technically “lived” anyway like Echo.
29) If Madi had decided not to transcend, would she still have been paralyzed? I mean, I would assume not because Levitt and Hope’s gunshots were healed, as was Emori, but I’m curious. Also, wouldn’t Raven’s leg have been fixed? Because if they only fix recent wounds and not old ones, that’s stupid.
30) On the point of Madi deciding not to transcend, why did she? Why didn’t so many other people choose not to? Like, not one Eligius prisoner or person from Sanctum chose to live? No one else from Wonkru? Why didn’t anyone else other than the main cast and guest stars not transcend? I totally understand the Disciples transcending, but seriously, nobody else wanted to live? That’s really weird. Madi and her friends really couldn’t have chosen to live on Earth with Clarke and the others? I just think it’s really unrealistic that not one single person outside of the group chose not to transcend.
31) I was really surprised that Murphy and Emori chose not to transcend, because as the Judge said, they would eventually die and not join them in the infinite. It shocked me due to their fear of dying and wanting to be immortal, but I’m really proud of them.
32) I’m disappointed that those who don’t transcend can’t have children. There were suspicions that Emori might have been pregnant (which were never confirmed), but the idea of her and Murphy having a kid together was adorable. They’d have their teeny tiny families with those two, Hope and Jordan, and Octavia and Levitt.
33) This isn’t as much me pointing out a problem as me wondering, what was Clarke going to say to the Judge when she turned around? What else did she have to say or ask? Was it about Madi? Or maybe Lexa? Or just transcending in general?
34) It’s pretty shitty that some of our questions went unanswered due to the fact that there will be a prequel. On the other hand, I live for lore, so I’m just glad that they eventually will be answered. But still, that doesn’t excuse shitty writing.
35) I want to see a stupid edit of Picasso taking the test where the Judge is Madi.
I think we all know that season seven was really not what we wanted it to be. We’ve been really disappointed by the writers and unfortunately, this is what we got out of it. I believe they really could have done a better job, but I am at least glad that everyone ended up together.
The writing was lacking. Too many questions were left unanswered, I don’t care if you’re making a sequel or not. Plot holes. It really could have been a good season if it was done better.
My ranking of the seasons is as follows: 3, 2, 4, 1, 6, 5, 7. Seasons 4 and 1 are kind of interchangeable for me in spots three and four, as are 6 and 5 in the two spots behind them, whatever the order may be.
But I still love the show. I love the characters, their development, and many things about it. It has been quite the journey and I am glad to have been a fan of the show.
May we meet again.

The Fierce And Broken
1.06
Masterlist
You woke to the mumbling noise of others talking. With a groan you sat up, whining at the pain you felt in your stomach.
You recognized the voices as Clarke, Bellamy, Raven and Octavia. You couldn’t make everything they were saying out, but Octavia was angry. Slowly you spun your legs around so they were dangling off the edge of the table, crouching slightly so you could hear better. A couple of words stood out more than others ‘bomb’ ‘Lincoln’ ‘Anya’ Who were these people? You could hear Raven’s voice getting louder.
“I’m not having this conversation again. I did what I had to.”
The moment your feet touched the ground you instantly regretted trying to stand up. You stumbled forward with a loud thumb, alerting the others to your presence. The hitch to the room opened, and you saw a head of black hair moving quickly. It was Octavia. She wrapped her arms around and squeezed tightly. “Oh my god Alba, you gave me such a fright.”
You hugged her back. “O, I’m okay. I promise.”
She pulled back from the hug, and you could see the tears in her eyes. “I thought you were going to die...I really did.”
You opened your mouth to ask Octavia about the grounder that stabbed you, but quickly closed it when Clarke came up the ladder.
With a frown she helped you stand up. “Hey, I don’t want you bursting those stitches.”
“Nice to see you as well Clarke.”
Clarke’s frown softened, “how do you feel?”
You paused before answering her question, because you honestly had no idea what you felt. The memory of what happened to you was hazy. You remembered being stabbed, because you pushed Finn out of the way. Finn. “How’s Finn?”
Clarke glanced over at Octavia before answering. “He’s fine, now.”
“What do you mean now? Did he get stabbed as well?”
Octavia stood by you and squeezed your hand. “You are both okay now, that’s what matters. The blade was poisoned. It caused you and Finn to both have seizures.”
Clarke sighed, “Finn didn’t get stabbed, but he had a cut on his hand and somehow got the poison in it.”
This didn’t make any sense. If you and Finn were fine, why did they both look miserable? “How long have I been out for?”
“Long enough.” Clarke shook her head, “After I check your stitches, I’m sure Octavia will fill you in what’s been going on.”
______
Your eyes nearly popped out of your head with the information Octavia had told you. Finn and Lincoln had set up a peace meeting that resulted in a war starting. Bellamy and Clarke had found weapons. Raven had managed to communicate with the ark. Murphy was back. Octavia explained how the grounders used him as a weapon to spread a virus around the camp, and they had blown up the bridge to try and give them more time. Something else had gone, your friend was holding back.
“O, I need to ask you something. You might think I’m crazy, but I’m so sure of it.”
Octavia stared at you nervously, she nodded her head. “Yeah?”
You spoke quietly so nobody else could hear what you were about to say. “The grounder that stabbed me...I don’t think he wanted to hurt me.”
“He didn’t.” Octavia let out a deep sigh, “I need to tell you something, so please don’t hate me. I let the Lincoln...the grounder who stabbed you escape.”
You were confused. “Escape from where?”
“Here.” She said waving her arms around the room. It suddenly occurred to you that they wouldn’t have carried you to the top floor of the drop-ship straight away. “Bellamy and his gang of thugs brought him back here for information. When Lincoln didn’t talk they began torturing him. I was afraid they would kill him...so once I got what I needed I helped him go.”
Octavia pulled up her sleeve to reveal the cut on her arm, you leaned in closer to inspect it. “O, what did you do?”
“Lincoln wasn’t going to give us the antidote, but I trusted he wouldn’t let me die so I cut my arm with the same blade he stabbed you with.” She paused, “Lincoln saved my life before. He blew the fog horn that stopped the other grounders from killing you.” Of course, it was starting to make sense. “He never wanted to hurt you. He asks me all the time if you are awake, he wants to apologize.” You had no words. Nobody had ever done anything like that for you before. You pulled Octavia into a hug that surprised her. “I thought you would be mad at me.”
You shook your head. “I’m not mad Octavia, I’m really proud of you.” You pulled back from the hug to point at her arm. “You did that to save me and Finn. And I’m glad you helped him escape.”
Octavia smiled at you. “I was so scared you’d hate me Al, I dunno what I do if I’d lose you.”
You shook your head with a slight chuckle, “is there anything else I need to know?”
Octavia shrugged, “probably. But my mind has gone blank.”
You looked out the window into the camp below. Everything looked normal, as if nothing ever happened. “Fancy helping me get down them ladders? I know Clarke said I should stay up there until she gets back from hunting, but I’m so bored.”
“Pissing off the princess? Now that I can help you with.”
______
After a while Octavia went off to see Lincoln, and you promised to cover for her if anybody asked. You spoke to Monty and Jasper briefly, who filled you in on the whole camp getting high after eating some nuts.
“Y/N!”
You turned to see Raven stepping out of her tent. She had a wide smile on her face as she hugged you. “I’m so glad you are okay!”
“Thanks Raven.” You stepped back, “I told you I’d keep your boy safe.”
A look of sadness washed over Raven’s face, something was wrong. She must have sensed you were going to ask because she shook her head. “I’m fine honestly. I just can’t thank you enough, Finn probably would have died if it wasn’t for you.”
Raven blinked away the tears in her eyes, “I better get back to work.”
“Are you sure? Whatever is going on you can tell me.”
She nodded. “Thanks, I just-” you followed her gaze to Finn, who was standing laughing with Clarke. Oh. “I just need to get back to making more bullets.”
You felt guilty for not following her, but the best thing to do was let her have time to herself. It couldn’t have been easy watching the person you love loving someone else. The feeling of a pair of arms wrapping around you from behind took you off guard. All the hugging was starting to hurt.
You chuckled, “who’s squeezing me now?”
The person spun you around to face them. Murphy. Tears started to spill from the corners of your eyes. You never thought you’d see him again. In typical Murphy fashion, he pouted when he saw your tears. “Are you disappointed that I’m back? No need to cry-”
You cut him off by pressing your lips against his, it wasn’t a passionate kiss. It was soft and gentle. Pulling back from him you smiled, “I’m so glad you are alive Murphy, I heard about the grounders.”
He looked down at you, “yeah. I don’t know who hates me more, the people in the camp or outside it.”
You took his hand. “Come on, you can tell me about it while I check you over.”
______
“Ouch!”
“Don’t be a baby, give me your hand.”
You had been pouring leftover alcohol onto Murphy’s fingernails to make sure they weren’t going to get infected. Clarke obviously hadn’t given him the once over because he still had a couple of deep cuts that needed to be stitched up.
“Thanks,” you glanced up at Murphy. “I mean it Alba, nobody else even looks at me. They all think I’m a traitor.”
You frowned, “I’m glad you told them. If not they would have killed you.”
“Maybe I’d be better-”
“No!” You snapped, knowing where he was going with this. “Don’t say that! Don’t even think about it! I’d be lost without you Murphy, and you might not think it now but things will get better someday. For all of us.”
Murphy tilted his head to the side and brushed a stay tear that had fallen down your cheek. He had made some really bad judgment calls since landing on the ground, but you knew Murphy was a good guy. He just had a tough start in life.
“So, did you have a welcome party waiting for you to wake up?”
You appreciated Murphy changing the subject, a small smile pulled at the corner of your lips. “I...I fell off the bed,” you laughed. “I tried to stand up but it didn’t work. Octavia rushed up to see me, then Clarke came to check on my stitches...oh and I spoke to Raven.” Murphy pulled a face at your comment. “What?”
“I’m guessing your new BFF didn’t tell you how things went down with the grounder? I mean...I know I wasn’t here but I’ve heard things. And shit, she got dark.”
“Octavia already told me about Bellamy torturing Lincoln...I...wait, when you said ‘she’ do you mean Raven?” Murphy nodded. “Raven helped torture the grounder?”
“I heard she shocked him with wires.”
You were lost for words. You didn’t know Raven that well, but you assumed she wouldn’t have stooped to that level. Wait...Finn. She did it for somebody she loved. “No, O never mentioned it.”
Murphy suddenly stood up, “what was that?” You turned to look in his direction to the flaps of the tent, and shrugged. “I thought I saw somebody was standing there.”
“Probably just the wind.”
______
When night fell most of the delinquents gathered around the fire. A few couples strayed to have some privacy, while others stayed and got drunk. You twiddled with a piece of thread that was coming from your top. Trying to process so many things at once was hard, and it was starting to give you a headache.
Sighing, you said goodnight to Monty, Jasper and Octavia, and headed towards your tent. As you approached your tent you noticed movement inside it. Shit. Gulping down you reached for the gun tucked into the back of your trousers. Bellamy would no doubt freak if he saw you with it, but having it close made you feel safe. You slowly pushed open the flaps to the tent with one hand, while clicking the safety off with the other. The light was dim but you could make out the figure of someone sitting on your bed.
“Raven?” She jumped to her feet, and gave you an alarmed look when noticed the gun in your hand. “What are you doing in the dark? I could have shot you.”
“Sorry...I Just needed to talk to you, and I didn’t know where you were.”
You sighed, “it’s fine.” You tucked the gun underneath your bed and flung some dirty clothes on top of it. “What’s going on? Is something wrong?”
“I came by to see how you were feeling earlier when I heard you and Murphy talking. I-he told you what I did.”
You sat down on the bed, and kicked off your boots. “Raven, I don’t agree with it. But I’m also not judging.”
“You don’t think I’m a monster?” Raven’s voice broke as she spoke, it was the first time you had ever seen her so vulnerable. You shook your head. “How can you be so nice all the time? Isn’t it exhausting?”
You let out a snort of laughter at her comment. “I’m not, trust me. I’m just trying to make the best of a bad situation.”
Raven joined you on the bed, “what do you mean?”
“I’m just trying to enjoy my freedom until the rest of the ark comes down. I imagine many of us won’t be pardoned of our crimes and will either get floated or locked up again.”
Even in the dark you could see the brunette’s eyebrows coming together in a frown. “Well the ark would just need to get through me first.”
“I’m sure Jaha will be shaking.” You chuckled, before noticing the look on Raven’s face. “Is there anything else going on?”
“From the moment I landed I knew something was different. Finn...he doesn’t look at me the way he used to, he looks at her like that instead.” her? It took you a few seconds to catch on to what she was talking about. “They had sex not long after they came down here.”
You knew Finn had feelings for Clarke, but never realised how far they had taken things.“I’m so sorry, I had no idea.”
Raven began to sob. “I feel so stupid! I risked my life to come down here to be with Finn, and the whole time he was sleeping with somebody else. What makes it worse is he hid it from me.”
You admired Raven for being so strong, she was heartbroken but still used her amazing brain to help the rest of the camp out.
She turned to face you, “I’d hate to impose...but I really don’t want to see him right now.”
You smiled at her, “you can stay in here whenever you want.”
Raven thanked you before you both got comfortable in the bed. You spent the rest of the night talking before falling asleep.

(flashbacks are italicized)
The sound of the TV floats through the thin walls of the Ark, into the room you share with Clarke. Outside the bedroom, in the living room, sits the rest of your family, Clarke’s best friend, and his father, the Chancellor.
In other words, make a sound, and you’re screwed.
You’re hidden in a closet, behind a false wall engineered by your father, in the play space you and Clarke used as kids. Now, it serves as your prison cell. Your parents rarely invite anyone over, and you don’t have to stay in the space during the day anymore, like you used to when you were younger. But occasionally, the Jaha family comes over for dinner or to watch sports games. Your parents say it’s unavoidable, and the best way to prevent any suspicion. So on the designated days, you crawl into the playspace and keep quiet, forever playing the role of the secret twin.
You’re going through Clarke’s schoolbooks, working on the same assignments she has to do. It’s something your parents always insisted on; you may not be able to see the Ark, and live like the others, but you were going to get the same education Clarke got, no matter what.
You glance up from your work when you hear the creak of the front door open, and strain to listen.
“What’d I miss?”
You can hear her move further into the room, her voice growing more faint as she nears the TV. The chancellor’s response barely reaches you in the confined space. “Your husband and daughter being obnoxious.”
Daughter. Singular.
You try to push down the rising pang in your chest, closing your eyes and breathing in deeply, ignoring the sounds of the group just outside the door. You feel your breathing start to calm just as your dad’s voice grows louder. “Just for a few minutes.”
“Everything okay?”
The door scrapes open, and his voice starts to fade as he leaves. “You know this old boat. It’s always something.”
-
You wake with a start, the memory fading from your mind as someone’s screams enter it.
“No! No!”
You sit up, and look down from the tree, eyes landing on a small girl sleeping at the base. You start to rise, preparing to climb down to wake her up, when Clarke steps into your line of vision, reaching for her. “Hey, wake up. It’s okay. It’s okay. It’s just a dream.” The girl sits up and looks around, fear written all over her face. “You’re Charlotte, right? I’m Clarke. It’s okay to be scared. Do you want to talk about it?”
Clarke settles down next to Charlotte, as the girl quietly answers, “It’s…my parents. They were floated and they…and I see it in my dreams and I just…”
Clarke’s voice is soft when she answers, “I understand. My dad was floated, too.” You see her fingers brush against her wrist, touching the watch, and the bracelet she’s worn since you were kids. She takes a deep breath, “So, how did you end up here?”
“Well…we were taking my parents’ things to the redistribution center and…I kind of lost it. They said I assaulted a guard.”
“I can’t say I blame you.” She smiles and looks up, past your tree to the clear night sky. She points a bright light in the sky, larger than the stars around it. “See that bright star up there? That’s The Ark orbiting above us. I think whatever happened up there, you know, the pain,” she glances at her wrist, “the loss...maybe we can move past that now. Maybe being on the ground is our second chance.”
“Do you really believe that?”
She pulls Charlotte close, comforting her. “I’m trying to.”
As she settles against the base of the tree, you settle against the branches above her, following her eyes as they seek out the one place you called home before landing on Earth.

Jasper’s groaning affects everyone in camp.
Most of the delinquents keep their distance from the dropship, trying to get away from the sounds of his pain, each scream a stark reminder that anyone could be next. You are no exception, and spend most of your day wandering the camp and picking berries and people watching.
It’s midday when you decide to find Octavia, but she finds you first. “Have you seen my brother?”
You shake your head. “Not since last night. But when you see him, tell him he’s a dick.”
She plops down on the log beside you. “You too?”
“Yeah, we had a moment last night. Brought up some stuff I didn’t really want to relive.” You turn and give her a small smile, “What did he do to you?”
“You know Atom? The one he got to babysit me while you guys were gone?” You nod. “Well, we kissed.” Your mouth drops in shock, but you smile as she continues, “A few times actually. And things were going really good, until Bellamy went on a power trip, and now Atom won’t even look at me.”
“I’m sorry, Octavia.”
“It was the first time I really felt like a teenager. Or a person, really.”
You both sit in companionable silence, feeling the same things, before you bump her with your shoulder. “Was he a good kisser, at least?”
She laughs and elbows you, and you burst into laughter with her. As you both start to calm down, she whispers, “The best.” and it sends you both off again.
You’re both still quietly giggling when a scream rings out across camp. You and Octavia turn to each other with matching looks of alarm, and you mutter, “Jasper.”
His name pushes you both into action and you take off running towards the dropship. She makes it to the ladder first and you follow, and when your head breaches the second level, you see Octavia running towards Jasper, who’s passed out. Finn and Wells are holding his legs down, and Clarke is at his side, blade in hand. Octavia screams out, “Stop it! You’re killing him.”
You walk over to the group and kneel on the other side of Jasper, acoss from Clarke. Finn looks up at Octavia, “She’s trying to save his life.”
A voice immediately follows Finn’s, “She can’t.” Seconds later, Bellamy’s head pops through the hatch and he steps onto the second floor.
Wells stands from Jasper’s legs, and gets right in Bellamy’s face. “Back off.”
“We didn’t drag him through miles of woods just to let him die,” Clarke bites back, while checking his wounds.
“Kid’s a goner. If you can’t see that, you’re deluded. He’s making people crazy.”
“Sorry if Jasper’s an inconvenience to you, but this isn’t the Ark. Down here, every life matters.” You meet Clarke’s eyes, and offer a nod in agreement.
Bellamy’s voice is hard and angry, his glare leveled at the back of Clarke’s head. “Take a look at him. He’s a lost cause.”
You look up at Bellamy, “Why don’t you just go to hell? No one wants you here anyways.”
The room is silent, until Clarke turns to Octavia and whispers, “Octavia, I’ve spent my whole life watching my mother heal people. If I say there’s hope, there’s hope.”
Bellamy responds to Clarke, but his eyes never leave yours. “This isn’t about hope, it’s about guts. You don’t have the guts to make the hard choices. I do. He’s been like this for three days. If he’s not better by tomorrow, I’ll kill him myself.”
“I’d like to see you try.”
Bellamy ignores you and turns to leave, stopping only to look at his sister. “Octavia, let’s go.”
“I’m staying here.”
He says nothing, and turns back to the ladder, climbing down quickly. Monty watches him leave, glaring. “Power-hungry, self-serving jackass. He doesn’t care about anyone but himself.” He turns and looks at Octavia, “No offense.”
Finn looks around at the group. “Yeah. Bellamy is all that. But he also happens to be right.”
You all turn to glare at Finn, before Clarke looks at you. “Can you get me some clean water?”
“Sure, be right back.”
You climb down the ladder, dropping to the floor below, and head out of the dropship to the water supply. As you’re filling up the containers, you watch as Charlotte looks around before sneaking off, away from the camp. Curious, you put the water containers on the ground and follow her. You find her quickly, darting in and out of bushes, ducking behind trees, eyes trained on something up ahead. You jog ahead, light on your feet, reaching her in a few seconds. You touch her lightly on the shoulder, “Charlotte?” She nearly jumps out of her skin and turns to face you, looking scared. When she recognizes you as one of the 100, she calms. “What are you doing out here?”
“A hunting party just left. I wanted to go with them, but I knew they wouldn’t let me, so I decided to follow them.”
You nod, “Mind if I walk with you? I could use the air.”
She nods her head, and you both start walking again, following the path of the hunting party. You keep your eyes on the horizon, the faint outline of the group of boys just visible enough for you to follow them. “I heard about your parents.” You glance over at her, and sadness passes across her features. “I’m sorry. I know how hard it is.”
“You do?”
“Clarke’s my twin. Our dad got floated while I was locked up.”
She turns to study your features, “You’re the invisible twin?”
You cringe at the only name people ever seem to call you. “The very same.”
Up ahead, the hunting party stops, growing larger as you both move closer. “What’s it like?” You look down, a question in your eyes. “To have a sister, I mean. A twin.”
A smile graces your features as memories flash across your brain. “I have a built in best friend. Someone that truly understands me. Someone to tell all my secrets to, cry with, laugh with. We shared everything.” You glance over at her, “You know, sisters don’t always have to be related by blood.”
“They don’t?”
“Nope. Sometimes, you find people in your life that become your family, even though you aren’t related by blood. Sisters included.” You pause when you hear the loud sounds of a boar, and you grab Charlotte. “Stay close, there’s a boar nearby.”
She nods and you both creep forward slowly, the group of boys now within walking distance to you. Up ahead you see Bellamy inching closer to the boar, axe in hand. Charlotte must see it too, because she steps forward quickly, snapping a twig in the process. You see Bellamy turn, and instinctively you grab Charlotte and pull her behind you. Your eyes meet Bellamy’s, just as his axe lands in the tree inches from your head. He glares as he stalks towards you. “What the hell are you doing? I almost killed you.”
He steps forward and pries the axe from the tree, and you glare back as you answer him. “Charlotte wandered from camp and I followed her to make sure she was okay. She wanted to see you hunt.”
Charlotte steps from behind you, into Bellamy’s line of sight, and his gaze softens. “Okay then,” he reaches down and pulls out a knife, handing it to Charlotte. “But you can’t hunt without a weapon. Ever killed something before?”
Charlotte shakes her head and he smiles, “Who knows? Maybe you’re good at it.”
He turns and walks towards the rest of the group and you and Charlotte follow. As you near the fallen pig and the rest of the hunting party, a horn sounds through the forest. You turn and look around, confused. “What was that?”
“Grounders?” someone asks, and you step closer to Charlotte. Suddenly, a sound comes rumbling through the trees, preceded by a group of screaming teenagers. “It’s a poisonous cloud, run!”
You grab Charlotte’s hand and take off running, with Bellamy right beside you. You turn and look over your shoulder at the approaching fog, yellow and electric. You trip over something and stumble, losing Charlotte’s hand, and barely catching yourself from falling.
Bellamy turns back to you and Charlotte, “Come on! There are caves this way.”
You both follow Bellamy, frantic, and he turns and grabs Charlotte’s hand, pulling her in front of him. He reaches back and grabs yours, guiding you as he stumbles through the trees and over a small hill. He pulls you both around a corner and pushes Charlotte into the cave first, before pulling you in afterwards. As you make it through the doorway, Atom yells from somewhere outside. “Bellamy!”
Bellamy steps back into the fog, which makes him instantly cough, and you pull him back through the doorway. When he’s inside, you both look down at your joined hands, and you pull yours away angrily, before moving deeper inside the cave, as far away as you can get in the enclosed space.
-
Before long, night falls, and you stand from your spot. “I’ll take first watch, you two get some sleep.”
Bellamy nods and pulls off his jacket, draping it over an already sleeping Charlotte. You move to the front of the cave and look out into the night, keeping an eye for any sign of danger.
Bellamy isn’t asleep for long when Charlotte starts to cry out, tortured by another nightmare. You stand and move closer to wake her, but Bellamy wakes up and puts a comforting hand on her shoulder. “Charlotte, wake up.”
“I’m sorry.”
Bellamy’s voice is quiet when he asks, “Does it happen often?”
She says nothing, only letting out a sigh, and Bellamy nods. “What are you scared of?” She’s silent and he shakes his head, “You know what? It doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is what you do about it.”
“But… I’m asleep.”
He smiles softly, “Fears are fears. Slay your demons when you’re awake, they won’t be there to get you when you sleep.”
“Yeah, but…How?”
“You can’t afford to be weak. Down here, weakness is death, fear is death.” They stare at each other for a minute, before he gets an idea. “Let me see that knife I gave you.”
She pulls the knife out and passes it to him, and he holds it tightly. “Now, when you feel afraid, you hold tight to that knife and you say, ‘screw you. I’m not afraid.’”
He hands the knife back to her and she grips it in both hands, quietly repeating, “Screw you. I’m not afraid.”
He gives her an unimpressed look, and she repeats it with more confidence. “Screw you. I’m not afraid."
He smiles at her and pats her knee. “Slay your demons, kid. Then you’ll be able to sleep.”
He turns away, and his eyes meet yours. He stands and moves to the mouth of the cave, near you, as Charlotte rolls over and falls back asleep. You sit there in silence, stewing, before you spit, “It’s interesting to see you play nice, when you make a joke out of assault.”
His head whips towards you, face in shock, and he mutters, “Assault? What are you talking about?”
You roll your eyes before standing up. “I’m going to bed. Wake me up if something happens.”
-
Shumway steals your dreams. And you are full of relief when Bellamy shakes your shoulder the next morning, freeing you from the nightmare of memories stuck on repeat in your head. He ventures into the morning air first, unharmed, before turning to you and Charlotte. “It’s all clear.” He raises his voice and yells into the trees, “Anybody out here? Jones?”
Somewhere to the right, Jones' voice reaches you, “We’re here!”
You follow Bellamy through the forest, and soon, you are standing amongst the hunting party from the day before. Bellamy appraises the group, “Lost you in the stew. Where’d you go?”
“Made it to a cave down there. The hell was that?”
“I don’t know.” Bellamy looks over the three members. "Where's Atom?"
They all shrug, and Bellamy shifts into leadership mode. “Split up, we have to find him.”
Everyone branches off, searching for any sign of Atom. It’s not long before Charlotte screams out in fear, and you run closer to her, “What? What is it?”
She’s standing at the top of a hill and she points down at the base of it, where a body rests on the ground. You cover her eyes, and pull her into a hug, “Hey, don’t look.”
She cries into your jacket and Bellamy runs up a second later, watching Charlotte as she sobs in your arms. He looks up at you with a questioning gaze, and you tip your head towards Atom’s body. “Son of a bitch. Atom!”
He rushes towards Atom, and you step away from Charlotte. “I’m going to go help him, okay? Stay here, and don’t look.”
She nods and wipes away her tears, and you jog down the hill after Bellamy, who is now kneeling beside Atom. He looks over at you, unsure what to do. “Your mom’s a doctor, and Clarke…”
“I’m not her. I only know a few things that I picked up over the years, I wasn’t in training like her.”
You look down at Atom, and work hard to hide the fear in your eyes. His skin is bloody and covered in blisters, eyes cloudy, and his breath struggles as it leaves and enters his lungs. Atom turns towards Bellamy, begging, “Kill me. Kill me. Kill...me.”
Bellamy stands unsure what to do, and Charlotte steps down the hill and wanders closer. Eyes still locked on Atom, she reaches into her pocket and pulls out her knife, before sliding it into Bellamy’s grip.
His eyes lock on her in shock and she whispers, “Don’t be afraid.”
Regaining his composure, he turns to the others, “Go back to camp.” They follow his command and walk off, and Bellamy turns back to Charlotte. “Charlotte, you too.”
She turns and walks away, and Bellamy kneels back beside Atom again, watching him. “Kill...me. Bell...a...my... pl...ea..se.”
Bellamy holds the knife in his hand, over Atom’s body, watching in horror as he struggles to breathe, but unable to do anything about it. You watch as Bellamy lets out a shaky breath, and he looks over at you. You place a comforting hand on Atom’s chest, and he turns towards you. "Plea...se."
You look up at Bellamy and see his jaw clenching as he hears Atom’s pain. You take a shaky breath and smile down at him, “You’re going to be okay, Atom. You won’t be in any more pain.”
You start humming a song your dad always hummed to you when you didn’t feel well, ‘Clair de lune’. As you hum the familiar song, you reach towards Bellamy, and slide the knife from his grip, before pushing it into the side of Atom’s neck, killing him almost instantly. When you’re sure he’s no longer suffering, you stop humming, and look over at Bellamy, who’s watching you closely. “We should, um.” You wipe away a few tears, “We should get him back to camp. Do you have something we can carry him with?”
Bellamy nods, and pulls out a piece of parachute from his pack. “Okay, we need two thick branches, and we can make a stretcher.”
You both split off, each returning minutes later with a long branch. You tie the parachute between the branches, and place the stretcher beside Atom’s body. Then you each take a side and carefully lift him and place him into the parachute, before you take off your jacket and use it to cover his face. When you’re finished, Bellamy turns to you, “I’ll take the lead.”
You agree before you each lift one end, and make the trip back to the campsite in mutual silence, both of you still in shock. When you arrive back to camp, Wells is the first to meet you. “I’ll get started on the grave.”
Bellamy nods and you both lower Atom’s body to the ground carefully. Octavia comes running from the dropship, eyes locked on Bellamy, “It’s about time. Where have you been?”
You step forward and grab her arm to try to stop her from getting any closer, “C’mon, you can update me on Jasper.”
She pulls her arm free and gives you a weird look before making a beeline for Bellamy. “Octavia, just stay there. Please, stay back.”
He grabs her and tries to stop her, but she pulls her wrist free. “Bell, stop.” She sees the stretcher on the ground behind him and walks towards it, kneeling down to get a closer look. She pulls your jacket down, revealing Atom’s face, and her breath comes out in a shaky gasp. “Atom.”
Bellamy looks at her, the hurt obvious in his eyes, “There’s nothing I could do.”
She holds up a hand to silence him, “Don’t.” She starts to cry before covering his face again, and running off.
You stand to the side, watching, and when you meet his eyes, you seem to sense the question in them. Nodding once, you run after Octavia, preparing to comfort her.
You find her sitting in a small clearing, sobbing quietly. She turns when she hears your footsteps, and you offer her a sad smile. “Can I join you?”
She says nothing, only nods, before wiping away her tears. You sit beside her, and reach for her hand. “I’m sorry about Atom.”
She inhales a shaky breath, “I guess we’re gonna have to get used to people dying down here, aren’t we?”
You give her hand a light squeeze, and whisper, “Probably. But that doesn’t stop the hurt you’re feeling right now.”
She rests her head on your shoulder, and you both sit in silence for a long time, lost in your own worlds.
