Ofc, I talked about how pretty they are so many times- the amount of times I moved the camera at an angel so I could see their face and gush about how gorgeous they are is,, a lot. 1- I think they'd be ecstatic to hear you slandering their enemies, there would be a weird dissonance if you were fond of the villains. Not because they're jealous no, never, how could you assume that. they are and they are impossibly bad at hiding it, their hatred of seeing you praise someone else in their game might be your first clue that something is wrong with your game They also just get a good laugh at how creative some of your insults can get <3333 it's not like they hear any genuine ones often!!!!

2- it's almost impossible to play a zelda game without fawning over how cute link is (I myself have so so many screenshots of him and just can't go more than five minutes without complimenting him) and I think they'd love it!! though it makes them a bit upset that they're still trapped and can't return any of the compliments without scaring you into resetting or deleting the game :( they've got to work up the confidence that you won't abandon him before he does anything (or simply the desperation to) despite how much you've told them you love them, they've still got enough common sense to know that this isn't normal

Why tumblr user donottearmedown/luciequeenofelfame/luciehvrondaie is an embarrassment: a Masterpost

Hi if you’re here it’s because you’ve heard that tumblr user donottearmedown is an embarrassment and you’d like to know all the details! Let me break it down. It all started with this post by @minacarstairs (Tessa (yes @minacarstairs’s name is Tessa sorry if that makes this post confusing)), in which donottearmedown originally reached out to Tessa by sending her something along the lines of “Do you ship heronstairs/herongraystairs?” And Tessa replied with something along the lines of “Yeah lmao herongraystairs rights!”

(I wanna note that Tessa was being very polite, and continues to be very polite to people who disagree with her opinions on heronstairs/herongraystairs. She even began her original conversation with dont tear me down by saying it’s a matter of personal interpretation :) it’s donottearmedown who made the conversation mean-spirited)

(Also Tessa pls correct next if I’m wrong on any of this thnx)

And then sometime later, the conversation above ensues in which donottearmedown, seemingly perfectly reasonable at first, disagrees with the ship and offers a link to look at. (She throws this link around any chance she gets. She really fucking loves this link.) I got involved because in her answer, Tessa replies back with a link from a post I made from my own blog starting back in 2018, and then continued to add to it until my account got terminated (long story). You can read through both posts and check out all the replies! But basically we realized during this interaction that donottearmedown wasn’t looking to have a friendly conversation and was, in fact, batshit crazy. They were saying some absolute brain dead shit like that people shipping heronstairs is the same as people shipping Alec x Clary. Here’s the screenshot:

donottearmedown came back the next day to reply on several of Tessa and mine’s post which she wasn’t even tagged in, such as this one, and this one that had absolutely nothing to do with her because I make that same post every year. Here’s a screenshot from my old account last year via Instagram:

So, Tessa received this anon which tipped us off to some of the other tomfoolery on donottearmedown’s blog. We decided to look for ourselves and lo and behold, here’s the post of donottearmedown accusing Cassandra Clare of having a “Chinese kink” for writing Jessa:

Which, first of all, makes no sense because there’s like 2 Chinese characters in TSC total. If anything CC has a straight white boy kink lmao. But by saying this she was basically implying that the ONLY way Tessa (book!Tessa), or anybody who loves Jem, can love him is if they have a “Chinese kink”. Which donottearmedown can’t seem to be able to understand is an incredibly racist thing to say and think.

They also reblogged this BLM link and proceeded to tag it with absolute nonsense like “#smoke weed #lose weight #wessa”. I don’t know if her intentions were to mock the BLM movement but I still found this to be so incredibly disrespectful and tone deaf.

I also feel like I should mention this ask sent to Tessa in which donottearmedown implies she ~could be~ Asian, but it’s “none of her business anyways” (as if being Asian would absolve anyone of being racist akjsksjsj), but based on the fact that she has a track record of lying and pretending to be a person she’s not (as you will soon see :)) I call bullshit lmao:

I think that was the last of our interactions until today? Tessa and I were distracted because we have, you know, real lives.

But anyway, that brings us to today.

donottearmedown started replying to posts from mine and Tessa’s blogs which she wasn’t tagged in, again, and made several days ago. This one literally wasn’t even about her, it was about someone else that had engaged with one of Tessa’s posts. I made that post over a week ago and had already forgotten about it, but clearly donottearmedown never stops thinking about us 😳

NOW I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THIS POST SPECIFICALLY.

Why? Because donottearmedown and luciequeenofelfame (now luciehervndaie) interacted on this post, as 2 seperate entities. luciequeenofelfame had also interacted with Tessa and I’s original posts at the beginning of June (you can check the replies on the posts!) coming to donottearmedown’s defense, and praising her for her opinions and other shit like that.

Here’s the screenshot. As you can see here, luciehervndaie reblogs from donottearmedown and adds on to their opinion:

Now here’s the kicker: donottearmedown and luciehervndaie are the same person.

As in, this bitch literally made up a second blog so that she can pretend to be someone else agreeing with her own opinions and cheering herself on.

do you have any tips on how to make your town pretty without hacking?

what makes a town pretty to you? it’s definitely possible to make a cohesive, visually pleasing completed town without hacking. it will take longer and could benefit from lots of careful planning. i do have some town planning suggestions which may be helpful, let me know if you’d like more specific advice 🌱

tldr tips: research > collect > plan > apply! 

t i p s  i n  m o r e  d e t a i l  :

suggestions for planning a new town-

research research options for your town that are appealing to you, that compliment your town’s backstory or theme if you have one. if you don’t have a theme, just choosing a color palette alone helps narrow down the options and creates a nice cohesive feel for a town.

mood board make a folder or pinterest board with lots of inspiration photos, maybe flower color combinations, pics of all the pwp you’d like in your town, screenshots of landscaping from other people town’s, illustrations, photography, whatever inspires you and helps you to visualize how you want your town to look. 

rough draft make some sketches of your town map and create a general layout for your more permanent features and paths.

collect if you’re ok with time traveling, time travel a lot so you can get weeds if you want them and to collect tons of saplings, bushes, mushrooms, flowers, etc. every new day you time travel, talk to villagers to unlock the pwp you want while you’re buying up plants from leif and bringing home flowers from island tours. also, breed special color flowers on the beach so villagers don’t mess with them.

plan imo, extensive planning before committing is really important when it takes so long to unlock features and gather sources. spend time planning out where e v e r y t h i n g will go using design tiles in game so you can be aware of spacing and placement restrictions. google acnl pwp placement guide and find out how many tiles a building/pwp occupies and the buffer area around places in which things like bushes and trees cannot grow. your town might look like a qr code wasteland for some time but having to rearrange things once they’ve been built can create a domino effect and change the way sections of your town relate to each other. it’s easier to change that stuff if you just have to move the design tiles. also, it’s helpful to use fruit trees and bushes you don’t like to test out tree/bush placement which you can later switch out for the ones you want in your town. 

work big to small place houses/pwp and connect these places with other points of interest like the town plaza, retail, the beach and so on, with paths first. then plant trees and bushes around these spots. stuff like flowers and mushrooms can be rearranged easily so those are the things i like to place last. this process is made much easier when you have markers dictating where things will go. i like to place small objects next to/ in front of focal points and keep larger objects like trees and bushes deeper into the background. i personally enjoy a more staggered random plant placement rather than a fence like row of trees or bushes or flowers. i absolutely do not condone copying other people’s landscaping layouts, but it do think it’s helpful to take note of where other people are placing their plants. study how they arrange plants by size, how to visually round out a sharp corner, how to frame a focal point. every time you pan up the camera you have an opportunity to create a little stage. i really enjoy when there is a focal point, which could just be your mayor or a pwp or whatever, that is directly surrounded by short plants like clovers weeds and flowers, and towards the edges of the screen the plants get bigger and more dense. 

that’s kind of all i can think of right now, again if you additional advice or suggestions feel free to reach out!

Yin and Yang in The Last Jedi

Ok, I’m going to try to list all the instances where Yin and Yang appear in the movie. They really did beat us in the head with this symbolism, didn’t they.

Some of the images I included aren’t so much Yin/Yang symbolism as things divided in two, which is another recurring theme and it is related to it. I love to find symbolism everywhere and you can’t stop me.

At the end I’ll link a couple of metas that treat the subject, which inspired this post. - Also saw the symbolism in the cave scene (when she asks to see her parents and sees two figures aproaching and they become one and the blurry reflection sure as hell looks a lot like Ben and then the barrier vanishes and she sees herself). What, pray tell, the fuck.

- Also, the lighting in all the force bond scenes was reminiscent of Yin and Yang. I’m not going to take screenshots right now. I am tired.

- The gold dice. They’re not really remotely Yin and Yang related but I feel there’s something more to them than Han’s memory.

- I also noticed that every time there was a shot of the sun in Luke’s last scenes (you know, where he dissapears along with what was left of my heart) there was always a cloud covering half its face. Look, I have proof:
