hey buds I'm up shit's creek with a paper overdue and work early in the morning so here. if this sees the light of day
. . . .
To be loved is to be seen.
Sentiments scrawled into poetry books he'd read on occasion (just to get the hype of them, mostly. Keigo's mind isn't patient enough to decipher poetry to the extent they deserve) that compound that over and over and over. Seeing is love. Knowing is love.
But to know Keigo Takami is to know far too much. And none of it's good.
Enter you. Exhilarating, earth-shattering you, and suddenly someone sees him. It took you, oh, two dates to begin picking him apart. An intimate little experiment beginning the moment you invited him over after another successful date night (Keigo's too much of a gentleman to say 'no', after all. Especially when you give him that look) and every day since you've surprised him with how observant you are.
"Here! I stopped at a cafe on the way here. Extra sugar and a bit of vanilla syrup? Makes it a little more sweet," you said nonchalantly in his office one day, a popular stop for you on the way to your own job and it takes Keigo's entire energy not to leave you with him. More than that, though, he's stunned.
Did he ever mention his caffeine tastes to you?
"Oh, hey, I was thinking tonight we could watch that horror movie you talked about! You know, the one with all the bad special effects? I think it's, like, three bucks online to rent!" You offered to him as you two lounged on your couch late one night and Keigo again reels. Did he once mention he was into bad horror films? Did he?!
Mind reading wasn't your quirk, last he thought. Maybe lucky guessing is.
But it wasn't until one night that the sentiment of those stupid poems hit him in full force. Another long day of playing double-agent left him spent. Exhausted. He had been forced to turn the other way during an emergency, one that ended in a number of injuries and, to add to the nausea already building in his throat, two fatalities.
The HPSC president tried and failed to comfort him ("Your current duties are to be your priority. Those people were just in the wrong place at the wrong time") and when he arrived at your apartment for another date, he tried to put on the routine. A doting boyfriend whose eyes shined brightly, hands moved gently, and never left you dissatisfied in any sense.
Except, you seemed to read through him.
"Come here." You said, watching him walk further into the room after leaving his coat and shoes by your door. You held your hand out to him, a siren call towards you, and he was powerless to withstand it even if he wanted to.
He grabbed your hand, preparing to pull you up into his arms until your lips gently pressed against his knuckles. He never knew what books meant when they said 'their breathing hitched', but here Keigo's throat clogged.
You opened your eyes to look up at him, lips still brushing against his knuckles as you spoke. "Bad day, huh?
Mind reading quirk. Had to be. "Long day, sweetheart."
You kissed his hand again, spreading open his fingers to trace your lips down to his palm, kissing the warm spot softly. "A bad long day, then."
He only hummed in response, studying you. Trying to find out where you had found a crack on him that you saw how shitty he felt. How shitty today had been.
You didn't ask him what happened, and he's grateful. You know better. It shouldn't be this way (he should be honest with you), but you're patient. Kind. You pulled him to lay on top of you on the couch and Keigo ignored every alarm in his head just to give in to you. To let you guide his head to rest on your chest as his wings puffed out, creating a perfect crimson blanket for the both of you.
He's exhausted. Spent. Drained. But you already knew that. You must have.
You've seen him this whole time, and while that strikes newfound fears into him, it's also almost nice. It meant less talking for him, more deep understanding of how he is and how you are and how this situationship-dare he say relationship-would work.
Maybe seeing Keigo Takami isn't necessarily a bad thing. At least, not yet.
And for now, he'll take that.

Mav: Gross. Me too tho. Me too for real.
Rooster: I'm so sorry I have a loving family -
Hangman: Are you sure?
Rooster: - and, did you just say 'are you sure?'
Ice: Nah, it'll happen in 50 years when Im retired and maybe even dead.
Mav: And if you wanna give a child the heimlich you have to hold their face-
Ice: What if I wanna give you the night of your life?
Mav: And hit their back. Go boom boom boom. What'd you say?
Ice: Nothing.
Phoenix: Hamlets so me for real. Except for the part where I have to call my fake play girlfriend a whore.
Slider: I don't hate your rice crispy treat, I just hate you.
Goose: I FEEL VERY UNSAFE AND NEED TO BE PUT IN A HOME
Ice: You have some very strong opinions.
Mav: Thanks, I'm an Aries.
Mav: I really don't wanna go to class today, can we make out?
Mav: You know what I'd kill for right now?
Ice: Tylenol?
Slider: Dick?
Ice: Everytime I listen to My Play by AJR I get sad, not because my parents are divorced, they just don't love me
Rooster: You look very nice today.
Hangman: You know I have a praise kink.
Mav: Out of complete curiosity and no ulterior motive at all, what's your favorite kind of candy?
Ice: Chocolate. Almond joys specifically. Don't get me anything. You said no ulterior motive but there's definitely an ulterior motive. Every time you open your mouth there's an ulterior motive!

Baby in Blue(WIP)
Summary: Heaven is super excited because today, her and Jinx are having a girls day out. But unfortunately, Heaven is reminded that good days don't always stay happy.
Tag(s):Fluff,Family Fluff, Angst and Hurt/Comfort, Child POV,Parent-Child Relationships.
✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼
I hummed as I skipped into the elevator. "Mommy, do you wanna know a fun fact?"
"Sure! I love fun facts!" Mommy closed the gates and then re-locked them.
"The fun fact for the day is that I'm very pretty."
Mommy smiled at me that made me feel loved. "That's because you get it from your Father, child." She pulled the lever that closed the elevator door and then takes us all the way down.
"You're pretty too,Mommy!" I smiled big because it's true.
I thought she smile big too because it's nice being called pretty. But I felt a little sad when Mommy only nodded, showimg me a little smile, and then petted my hair.
Mommy calls Daddy handsome and pretty all time and it makes Daddy smile. When Daddy calls her beautiful, sometimes she smiles and giggles.
It's always so gross when they kiss on the mouth. I always say, "Ewwwwwwwww!" and have to look away.
We both have freckles, blue hair and I have one pink eye. We all have pointy teeth too! I called them fangs but Mommy said they're called canines-like the dogs!
I guess we be crazy dogs since we like biting Daddy sometimes. Sometimes she hugs me from behind to bite my cheek.
Not in a mean way! She says she bites us in a loving and playful way.
She's like a porcupine 'cause of all the spikes she has. Her earrings, her choker, pants, gloves, and boots are ALL SPIKEY!!!
I tell her if she hugs me too hard that she'll pop me like a balloon or poke my eye out and that makes her laugh and smile. I love making her laugh and smile-it's the best thing ever.
I hugged alot of people before:
My Daddy ,Aunts, Uncle Scar, my friend Anna, Mr. Heimerdinger, Ziggs,Kayn, Great Aunt Cassandra and Great Uncle Tobias.
They're all so warm and it feels nice. But one thing about Mommy is that she's ALWAYS cold. It's like hugging a snowman.
She has blue lines around her around her eyes- and her lips are always purple but not when she puts on lipstick for date night with Daddy.
Her skin is really, very pale. It makes me think of a ghost. I don't tell her that part like the porcupine one 'cause I think that'll be mean and make her sad.
I think that's why she didn't smile. Does she not think she's pretty? I hope not 'cause I love Mommy and I know she's the prettiest girl in the whole wide world.
It's always dark in her hideout but her eyes always glowed. Sometimes I wake up at night and she'll be in my room sitting next to me while she stared.
I like it though.
Mommy said she's been watching me since I was a little baby. I like it more when she's there after I had a bad dream. That way, I can hug her and tell her what happened.
It's with these bright colorful lights and dolls hanging there. There's spray paint everywhere and she even has a bathtub in there!
There are propellers we have to walk on to get to her work table. Mommy said it used to be a thing that was suppose to help Zaunites with clean air but Piltover people gave up on fixing it.
Theres a HUGE,big black hole down there. Mommy's and Daddy take me on their hoverboards really super high and them let me fall.
It's REALLY fun! They always,ALWAYS catch me and been doing it since I was littler so I'm not scared of heights.
I know to never, ever run on it 'cause it's dangerous but Mommy always holds my hand.
She wants me to stand behind the fence thing. Mommy's bigger,so she gets to stand and sit on the propeller. She pulled two chomper pins with her teeth-she's so cool- and watched it beep.
Its mouth started moving faster and its eye blinked really fast. Mommy kicked them and we watched it fall in the pit until...BOOM !
"Yay!" I cheered, lifting my arms up in the air and jumping. Mommy looked at me and smiled big like she always do when I cheer.
We laugh and smile when she did another one. I love watching how the real ones burst into flames as they fall.
Sometimes Mommy gives me her lighter-Well, Grandpa's Silco's lighter 'cause it has an 'S' on it.
She let's me hold it and watch the flames. It's like it's dancing when is moves back and forth. I could watch it forever 'cause it's that pretty.
I love the fireplace at my Aunts and Great Aunt and Uncle. They only use it for winter but I love staring at the fire 'cause it's so warm and beautiful.
It makes me want to take alot of paper and watch it burn. I'm six-years-old now and that makes me a big girl and know not to touch it or I'll hurt myself.
That's why she and Daddy let me sometimes-they call it a controlled fire. We'll go outside in a alley with balled-up paper and a cup of water.
Mommy or Daddy would lit it and we watch the paper turn black and spread to the other ones. I like it but it's always small and that's boring.
When I'm bigger I'm going to do a whole big fire without them 'cause being bigger means you can do what you want without Mommy and Daddy.

Hai! I saw u might be taking requests for characters, and I was wondering if you might do something for Shaxx? Maybe a Solar female or gender neutral titan and maybe something that’s fluffy? Maybe our guardian got hurt and needs a bit of down time, and who better than with our Crucible?
My character is a solar Titan and I too love and adore Shaxx! Thank you for the prompt! I wrote this like a reader insert using 'you' for the character. Also a bit of Saint and Osiris tossed in. I have some other Shaxx things I'll be posting soon too! Please enjoy!
"IF YOU KEEP DYING ITS BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T THROWN ENOUGH GRENADES!" Shaxx's booming voice filled the courtyard of the tower startling a few new lights, causing one of them to fall off an edge they had been peering over curiously.
Saint snorted. Warlock behavor. A titan would have thrown themselves off the tower with purpose. The slight grin it brought him faded as he approached the crucible handler's domain though. He wished he had a better reason for being there.
"Lord Shaxx you are scaring the new lights again. That one fell off the tower in fear of your mighty voice." He stated, gesturing back at the resurrected Guardian who eeped in embarrassment and hid behind their buddy.
"Death is a learning opportunity for a Guardian! Hopefully they learn which side of the railing they prefer to stay on." Shaxx laughed unapologetically.
"What brings you to me today Saint? Did you want in on some of the crucible bets being run? Or are you intrested in a bout yourself?" He asked cheerfully. Saint shook his head.
"Ah nothing quite so fun today unfortunately. The Guardian is unwell. She was helping Osiris with some research and it has led to her being infected with some sort of flu her ghost can't heal. Osiris says she should heal from it naturally but she is quite miserable in the mean time." He admitted.
"The Guardian? No wonder she hadn't come to see me. No matter. After this match is finished I'll go find her. Thank you for the news." He said clapping Saint on the shoulder avoiding the spiked pauldron.
"Of course. This also will allow me to convince Osiris to get some rest and not feel so guilty. It is not solely for your benefit." He chuckled but headed back feeling pleased he was correct in his assumptions over the relationship between Crucible handler and the Guardian.
"IF YOU HAVE A ROCKER LAUNCHER THEN YOU SHOULD USE IT! ARE YOU AFRAID OF YOUR OWN POWER GUARDIAN?"
A booming shout followed him and he grinned. He'd have much to tease the guardian about later once she was feeling better.
Curled up on the couch and wrapped in a blanket with a box of tissues on one side and a fire extinguisher on the other the Guardian sniffled pathetically. You had been helping Osiris study some new variant of thrall when the thing had, as usual, exploded into goop all over you. It was disgusting and smelled bad and was slightly corrosive- of course. The hive were always smelly and gross and slightly corrosive. You really needed to stop taking missions dealing with them.
But that wasn't the worst part. The worst part was that some of it got in your mouth. Just the thought made you want to purge herself with solar fire from the inside out.
Turns out, some sort of weird alien bacteria was there and so by the time you got cleaned up and swore to be like your partner and never take your helmet off again the symptoms had set in.
Fever, check. Runny and stuffy nose at the same time somehow? Check. Sneezing flames out your nose like some sort of solar fueled dragon? Apparently also check.
Osiris had thankfully not been standing in front of you when you found that last one out. The last thing you wanted was to have to explain to Saint that you accidentally murdered his husband via sneezing too hard. A sad Saint-14 made everyone sad.
Osiris insisted that with a few more samples of the hive goop that had made you sick he could process it into an antibody your ghost could scan then use to fix you. But that meant waiting for your fireteam to go collect the goop required without getting sick themselves. It was taking some time to find the right hive thralls too.
Letting out a pitiful whine you sniffled hard and took a sip of the water that had been left by your cacoon of misery. Then you heard the door open and looked up in hope that Osiris had returned with news and a cure.
"Guardian? My love? Saint stopped by and told me you weren't feeling well." Shaxx announced and you made a noise of shame and tried to hide away in yoyr blanket cacoon.
"Ah, I see you have decided to become one of those Eliksni hatchlings you adore so much and swaddle yourself." He said teasingly and it was the only warning you got before he was scooping you and all the blankets up into his arms with a strength that made you melt.
"I would make sure she's facing the opposite direction if she sounds like she's going to sneeze. She already almost lit Osiris on fire." Your betrayer of a ghost warned him and you stuck an arm out to flip the bot off making Shaxx laugh.
You were distracted by how you could feel his laugh rumble through his chest being pressed so close against it.
"Don't worry Guardian. It wouldn't be my first death to your mighty flames. Here, I brought soup for you. I thought it might help you feel a little better." He murmured and you thiught he was going to set you in the seat but instead he sat down at the table and tucked you into his lap.
Blushing you poked your head out. "Ah there's my beauty. I was worried this nee illness had turned you into a pile of blankets." He teased as he pulled the bowl of soup closer to you so you could reach it.
You swatted his arm with a look but your stomach rumbled at the promise of substance and you eagerly reached out for a spoonful. It was warm and savory and felt good on your abused throat.
"Do you like it? I was worried I might have added too much pepper." He admitted and you looked up at him surprised. Pointing at the food then at him, you widened your eyes trying to ask if he really made it.
He chuckled. "I did, though I admit I followed a recipe I got from Saladin ages ago. So I was briefly concerned I might have been making you a pot of wolf food." He said rubbing your back through the blanket as you sighed at him fondly but returned to enjoying the soup.
By the time the bowl was empty you were warm and starting to doze as Shaxx recounted the stars of the day's crucible matches, the soft rumble of his voice and the repetitive motion on your back soothing.
When you woke again, you found yourself in bed, tucked against Shaxx's chest feeling a little better.
"Good news! Osiris got enough samples. I can heal you now!" Your Ghost cheered and opened up to bathe you in a ray of light. You could feel your sinuses clear and your throat heal as well as a headache you hadn't even realized tou had fade away. You smiled thankfully at your ghost but tucked yourself back against your partner to nap a little longer.

can i request like shoto, bakugou, and midoriya meeting their girlfriend’s ex boyfriend. but like she’s still good friends with him. i wanna see some jealous bakugou 🤗 sorry if this doesn’t make sense ,:)
this is so fun omg
Big 3’s Reactions to Meeting Your Ex that You’re Still Friends With
Pairs: Midoriya x Reader, Bakugou x Reader, Todoroki x Reader
Warnings: swearing
Tumblr media
~Izuku Midoriya~
Midoriya loves going out. Going shopping with you, going to the movies with you, going to get food with you. He says that you already spend so much time at UA, so going out is fun.
You don’t mind. You just love spending time with him. He heard about this new ice cream place opening up just a few blocks away. You guys planned to walk their after school.
“I heard they have like cotton candy flavor. Which sounds kinda gross, but people have different tastes. He blabbed the whole way there. He always sounded so anxious yet excited about everything. His voice is one of your favorite things around him.
You get to the building and hear a family voice, “Y/N? Oh my god- Y/N is that you?” You turn around and see him. Kai. You’re ex boyfriend from before you even went to UA.
You guys also dated a while, while you attended, but the distance became too much and it just didn’t work out. You remained friends because you had been friends for so long before that, and you wouldn’t let this ruin it.
You had told Kai about how you and Midoriya were planning to come here, but that’s all you did. You just told him. You didn’t invite him or anything.
“What are you doing here?” You ask confused. He claims he was just “passing by” but he lives nowhere near here. You’ve known him long enough to know when he was lying and he was.
Deku asks who he is. He seems more excited than he does worried tho. You explain to him that Kai is just a childhood friend who you still keep in touch with sometimes.
Kai wraps his arm around your shoulder, “And ex boyfriend. Yeah we had a thing. We were each others first loves.” He says giddily. You sigh and scoot away, causing his arms to drop.
You saw Midoriya’s face drop, but it quickly went back to a smile. He was faking it. “O-oh. That’s nice! And you guys still keep in touch? Wow that- that’s nice. How coincidental that you’re here too.” He squeaks out, hand scratching his neck.
You stand uncomfortably. Kai is just smiling and not giving a single care in the world about how awkward he just made things. “Come on! We’re here to get ice cream right!” He says, ignoring Midoriya but inviting him at the same time.
You stay back and try to tell Kai that you don’t want to. This was your special time with Midoriya. Midoriya widens his fake smile, “No! It’s fine. Let’s go. Y- you guys can uh- you can catch up! I don’t uh.. and I third wheeling or? We could all three go in.” You knew he didn’t want to. He was so uncomfortable, but he just didn’t want to dismiss your old childhood friend because he doesn’t want to make you sad.
You sigh as Kai grabs your arm and drags you into the shop. Midoriya following behind. You order your stuff and sit down at a table.
Midoriya tries to speak first but Kai overlaps him, “So you guys are dating? Weird. I never saw you to end up with the... you know- him, type” Midoriya laughed. Awkwardly.
“W- what’s the me type?” He tried to make it seem like he was joking, but you could tell he was genuinely curious and worried.
When you and Kai were dating, you would always talk about how you could never date a “nice guy” or a “good guy.” You didn’t use to want to be a hero. In reality though, Midoriya is your perfect match. You don’t want to be with guys who can’t take anything serious or are super selfish. You love that Midoriya wants to help people. He inspires you.
“Oh you know.. crybabies. ‘I wanna be a hero’ type beat.” Kai mocked. He squeezed your eyes tight. Why did he have to show up. Midoriya’s eyes dimmed, “Oh.... yeah. Haha.”
You looked at your phone and pretended to be shocked, “Oh! Wow would you look at that. Momo just texted me. Special hero training starting in 5 minutes. Gotta go. Come on Izuku.” He looked confused because he knew you didn’t have anything to do today, but complied without question.
You didn’t even say goodbye to Kai. You just left in a hurry.
The walk back was silent. His enthusiasm was gone. “Izuku. I’m so sorry about Kai. The whole crybaby thing was so unnecessary. I don’t know why he showed up. I’ll stop talking to him.” You said softly.
He half smiled, “No it’s okay. That’s your friend. I don’t wanna ruin your friendship. You’ve known him longer than me.” You could hear the pain in his voice on the last line.
He sighed and took out your phone.
• Y/N: don’t ever talk ab Izuku like that again. Don’t contact me anymore xoxo
And just like that, you blocked him. Midoriya protested but you assured him that it wasn’t his fault. Kai was problematic and you didn’t want him in your life anyway. This was just the last straw.
“We can go back tomorrow. Maybe I’ll try cotton candy.” You say as you get back to the campus.
Tumblr media
~Katsuki Bakugou~
UA was hosting a little “party” for any students who were interested in attending next year. As the spotlight class of the year, Class 1-A was assigned to the welcoming booths.
Luckily, You got paired up with Bakugou. He didn’t want to do it at all, but was less mad when he found out you guys would be together.
Basically all you had to do was greet the people and answer any questions they had. Pretty boring, but you didn’t mind. You liked new people.
After like 20 minutes of greeting and answering, you heard your name being my called. A fingers got closer and closer in the distance and the voice got louder.
“Hey Y/N. I was looking all around for you.” He said out of breath. You were confused, “Kian? What are you doing here? I didn’t know you were thinking of applying here.” Bakugou stared at both of you. He looked so annoyed.
Before he could even respond, Bakugou interrupted, “Who are you?” he always sounded so intimidated. Kian wasn’t easily intimidated tho. He always stood there with a goofy smile like he didn’t have a care in the world.
“I am Y/N’s ex boyfriend. We had a pretty big thing. Each other’s first loves. Whatever, no biggie. Don’t be getting all sweaty by my presence.” Kian said, leaning into the booth.
Bakugou scoffed, “Nothing about you makes me nervous. Run along.” Kian laughed and said he had questions about the school. You rubbed your forehead. You could tell when he was plotting something. And he was.
Bakugou gave him a blank glare. “So... who was that guy they chained up that the sports festival? I got second hand embarrassment through the screen. Weird-o.” Kai mocked.
You could feel Bakugou getting warmer next to you. “Katsuki. Please just-” You started.
Kian cut you off, “Oh! This is Katsuki? Bakugou? Yikes Y/N. What a downgrade. How are you not embarrassed walking around with him?” He always made things seem like a joke
Shut your fucking mouth extra! Don’t call me Katsuki! You’re nothing, but an insignificant speck in society! Talk to me when you’re a real fucking hero.” Bakugou snapped.
Kian backed up in fake intimidation. “Woah calm down boom boom boy. The Leauge of Villians might here and kidnap you again.” He said.
You could hear, see, feel, and TASTE bakugou’s anger rising. He grabbed the guy by his collar and shoved him against the wall, “I’ll blow your ass into shreads if you say one more fucking word to me or my girlfriend. I’m not afraid to kill you.”
You knew he wasn’t. All Kian did was smile, but he was scared. You could tell.
Bakugou’s hands lit up red. He was still holding the boy.
“What the hell!” Bakugou yelled as his quirk was erased. There Mr. Aizawa stood. On the other side of the room. You slapped your hands over your face in embarrassment.
Kian looked over at you with as he faked holding in a laugh. “Bakugou. Go to your dorm.” He dropped Kian, slightly throwing him, and stormed off. Kian was on the floor, still with the goofy expression.
“Tough crowd?” He tried. You rolled your eyes and ignored him then tailed bakugou back to his room.
You didn’t bother to knock, but Bakugou didn’t acknowledge you as you walked in. You say beside him on the bed quietly.
“Why the hell are you still talking to him? I could beat his ass in 5 second if i wanted to.” He yelled breaking the silence.
You sighed, “He’s... I don’t know what’s wrong with him. I’m never gonna talk to him again after this. What an ass.” Bakugou looked at you. He was angry, but also relieved that you weren’t still in love with Kian.
He asked why you never told him about Kian since he was your “first love.” You didn’t answer for a while, trying to come up with the proper response.
“Why would I? You’re the one in my life now. You’re the one I’m with and the only one I want to be with. He’s not important. The only reason we still talked was because we were childhood friends. In all honesty though, I’ve wanted to cut ties with him for a while. This is a perfcet ending.”
Bakugou scoffed again, “If you say so. I could totally kill him if I wanted to.”
“Yes you could.” You responded.
Tumblr media
~Shoto Todoroki~
You and Todoroki were out shopping for snacks for a little end of semester party. He was assigned to get it, but he didn’t know what everyone liked, so he asked you to come.
Right as you were about to check out, you heard a voice call him. “Yo! Are you Endeavor’s son?” The voice called, as it got closer.
“I am Shoto Todoroki. Son of En-” He started, but the boy gasped. “Y/N! Along time no see.” It was Shoyo (ironic right?), your old childhood friend/ ex boyfriend.
You checked in on eachother maybe once or twice a month. You hadn’t told him about you and Todoroki. He knew you were in the same class, but not that you were dating.
“Wow! You never told me you were friends with Endeavor’s son.” Shoya exclaimed. “I am Shoto Todoroki; Son of Endeavor. Please refer to me as Shoto Todoroki though. I’ve pacing my own path.” He finished.
Shoyo’s eyes widened in amusement as he laughed at him. Truth is, you didn’t really like Shoyo. You had a good time in the past, but now you just found him annoying and you were pretty sure he still liked you.
“Okay, come on babe. It was nice seeing you Shoyo.” You tried to move along, but he stopped you guys. “Woah! ‘babe? You guys are dating? Remember when we dated Y/N? Wow. I did not think you’d fall for such a bland guy. Must be in it for the title. You know since he’s Endeavor’s son. Shoto Todoroki.” He said, mocking Todoroki at the end.
Todoroki stood in place. You exhaled heavily. Why did this have to happen right now. “So what’s it like? You know? beint the son of one of the like least friendly heroes ever? Seriously bro- I would never wanna be a hero if my parent was already one. You’re basically set for life already.”
Todoroki stood in silence, thinking of which question to answer first. “I’m not like my father. I want to become a hero for my own reasons. Is this the end of the questioning? We have to get back to school.”
There was a little bit of tone, which you were happy for. Todoroki’s bluntness always made him intimidating for others. Before Shoyo had another chance to speak, you scooted away.
“Oh. Well bye! Tell Endeavor I said hi!” He yelled from behind. Todoroki looked back and glared at him.
(A/N: okay sorry Shoto’s is so like- short and kinda boring. I feel like he wouldn’t really let things get under his skin, and if they did, he wouldn’t blow up or shut down like Katsuki and Deku. Anyways, great request!)

Y/N let out a low groan into her pillow when her phone started ringing, the noise so loud it hurt her head, which already felt like she had been hit with a shovel. She reached her arm out and patted across her bedside table for a moment so she didn’t have to open her eyes, which felt like they were glued shut; and managed to knock over a bottle of water and a photo frame in the process. By the time she had picked up the phone she was frowning, huffing as she answered it and put it to her ear.
“Hmm?” She managed to briefly hum as she rolled onto her back, her body aching and sore.
“Good morning sweetcheeks,” Her best friend’s voice boomed over the phone and she groaned, immediately turning the volume down. “Woah, ouch, not happy to hear from me?”
“You’re too loud Reggie,” Y/N complained quietly as she lifted her hand to rub her eyes. “Why are you calling, shouldn’t you be in class?”
“Shouldn’t you?” Reggie countered, and she winced a little.
Y/N had meant to tell him she wouldn’t be in school the night before but she must’ve passed out before she had the chance. She hadn’t been feeling too well for the whole weekend; her fever kept getting worse and each throb of her headache felt like a direct shot to the brain. To make it worse her parents weren’t home as they were out for two weeks on a trip, so she was on her own. And she definitely didn’t have enough energy to even crawl out of bed, let alone go to school.
“Sorry Reg I meant to say, I can’t come in today.”
“Why not?” She could practically hear him pouting over the phone and couldn’t help the slight smile that passed over her lips.
“‘Cause I don’t feel too well. I’ll sleep it off today and I’ll be back tomorrow, promise.” She said quietly, before she lifted her arm to muffle a coughing fit that came along suddenly, leaving her chest and throat burning as she frowned.
“Shit, Y/N, that sounds bad. Are you okay?” Reggie asked, his voice softer than before and full of concern, something rare for the jock. “Can you ask your parents to get you some medicine or something?”
“They’re not home,” Y/N told him, wheezing slightly when she started feeling another coughing fit coming along. “Look Reg I need to go, don’t worry about me I’ll be fine. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Yeah okay, see you.” Reggie responded before she lifted the phone from her ear and ended the call, sighing as she just dropped her phone onto the duvet, too tired to reach over and put it back on her nightstand.
As quickly as she had been woken up her eyes started closing again, drifting off into an uncomfortable and achey sleep that she expected to drift in and out of all day.
What was not expected was a loud knock at her door just over an hour later, followed by four impatient rings of her doorbell.
Y/N scowled as she opened her eyes, hoping whoever was there would go away, though after six more impatient rings of her doorbell and bangs against the door that she was sure could leave a dent she groaned and forced herself out of bed to open the door.
Everything was sore as she got to her feet and shuffled into her slippers, still in the same pyjama trousers and an old Bulldogs jumper that she had stolen from Reggie that she had been in for the whole weekend. Her hair was still up in the same beyond messy bun too, loose hairs spreading out like she had been electrocuted. The flush in her cheeks from her fever was prominent, sticking out against the pale sickly colour of the rest of her face.
By the time she had gotten to the door she was wheezing from another coughing fit, and had to cover her mouth with her arm again as she pulled it open to reveal who was there.
Reggie Mantle.
“M’lady.” He bowed falsely as she had opened the door and she frowned in confusion, eyeing him up.
He was still dressed like he was going to school, his backpack still slung over his shoulder, though in his arms he carried a flask, a handful of sunflowers that looked suspiciously like the ones she had in her front garden, a water bottle, and a bottle of medicine.
“Reggie, what- what are you doing here?” Y/N’s mouth opened as she stared at him, more confused than anything. He didn’t particularly like school but he never skipped Mondays - Mondays were the days for Bulldogs practice.
“I’m here to see my favourite little honey-bun of course.” Reggie teased as he reached out a somehow free hand and gently tapped the edge of her nose before he held everything with two hands again as he stepped inside without waiting for her to let him, allowing the door to shut behind him.
“You have school.” Y/N deadpanned, and he rolled his eyes as he looked at her.
“Thanks Captain Obvious, what a real find you have there.” Reggie responded and Y/N huffed as she crossed her arms.
“No seriously Reg what’re you doing here, you’re gonna miss class and-“ Y/N started before she cut herself off as she started coughing again, wincing as the pain spread through her chest with every cough she let into her sleeve.
“Okay calm down before you end up dying on me,” Reggie shook his head, emptying his arms onto the nearest surface so he could gently rub her back as she coughed. “You said your parents weren’t here and it’s really shitty to have to be sick on your own so I wanted to help.”
When Y/N had turned to look at him he was smiling genuinely which caused a similar expression to form over her lips, thankful that he would do something so kind for her. “Thanks Reg.”
“No problem,” He shook his head, before he paused and moved to grab the flowers again and held them out to her. “These are for you, sugar plum.” He teased and she rolled her eyes but took the flowers nonetheless.
“Thank you, I’ve got some sunflowers just like this outside.” Y/N smiled and almost laughed out loud at the panicked look that briefly crossed his face.
“What a coincidence,” Reggie mumbled, scratching the back of his neck, before he cleared his throat and took the flowers back from her. “Okay, you go get in bed and I’ll get these in a glass and sort everything else out.”
“Everything else? Reggie what-“
“Go, now, don’t make me count to three.” He threatened jokingly, and though she rolled her eyes she still turned to walk back upstairs, leaving Reggie to fumble around downstairs. He had been in her house enough times to know where everything was already. Reggie usually came to her house when things were getting hard with his dad, and although her parents claimed to have no clue what his situation with his dad was like, there was always a blow-up bed prepared on her bedroom floor when he happened to stay for dinner.
Y/N got back into bed and propped her pillows up so she was sat against the headboard, signing as she leaned back. It was another ten minutes before Reggie walked through her bedroom door, carrying a tray with him that he placed on her bedside table. On the tray sat the sunflowers in a glass of water, a bottle of water, a bottle of medicine, and a bowl of soup - which was what she was assuming was in the flask he brought. Even though he didn’t seem like the type, Reggie was an amazing cook, and made the best soup. She had mentioned how much she liked it once, and somehow since then whenever she was feeling sad or unwell Reggie brought her some of his soup for her to have.
Y/N couldn’t help but smile softly as she watched him carefully place the tray down before he moved to sit on the bed beside her, passing over the bowl of soup with a spoon.
“Thank you, Reggie.” Y/N said softly, her voice full of sincerity as she leaned against him slightly, smiling further into her first spoonful of soup when she felt his arm curl around her shoulders.
Y/N and Reggie had always been very close. It was normal for them to hold hands, or for him to carry her, or to pretty much do everything that a couple would do, other than kiss. Half of the time Y/N didn’t know where they stood on terms of their relationship, whether they were best friends or whether they were more, but she knew for a fact that she wouldn’t trade it for anything; she had the best person on the planet all to herself.
Y/N ate the soup quietly as she listened to Reggie telling some story about football, letting him do all of the talking as she had the soup that he had made for her. She didn’t look away from him as he spoke, and before she knew it she had finished the whole bowl of soup and half of her bottle of water by the time his story was over.
She wheezed again as she coughed which prompted Reggie to reach over and grab the bottle of medicine, causing her to frown a little.
“The liquid stuff’s really gross.” She pouted, and Reggie just rolled his eyes as he poured a spoonful out.
“Take it or I’ll spoon feed you.” Reggie threatened jokingly, and thinking he wouldn’t she just shook her head and didn’t take the spoon from him, leaving him holding it up in the air.
Reggie just shook his head and lifted his spare hand up to her, a finger underneath her chin which he used to tilt her head upwards. Her mouth fell agape upon shock of the action, her heart suddenly fluttering in her chest madly, so he used the opportunity to fit the spoon into her mouth so she could have the medicine.
Y/N pulled a face as soon as the bitter taste hit her tongue which prompted the jock to laugh as he took the spoon back, and handed her the water bottle to wash away the bad taste.
“Aww you’re so cute, you know that snookums?” He teased as he tucked her underneath his arm again, and she just groaned quietly as she nudged his ribs with her elbow.
“Cut it with the pet names, Mantle.” She huffed quietly as she let her head drop to rest on his shoulder.
“Why, pumpkin, you’re just way too adorable to stop.” Reggie teased again and grinned, causing her to just roll her eyes in response.
After a moment she watched as Reggie reached over to her bedside table to grab her hairbrush, and before she could ask what he was doing, she felt his fingers carefully pull the current hair tie out of her hair before he started running the brush through her hair gently. Her eyes fluttered closed as he brushed her hair, and then ran his fingers through it after; which caused butterflies to pool in her stomach and a stupid girlish smile to paint over her lips.
She stayed quiet for another few moments as she leaned into him, fiddling with the sleeves of his jumper she was wearing to keep her fingers busy before she turned her head to look up at him again once he had finished brushing her hair, leaving it in a loose ponytail once he was done. “Thank you for coming today,” She said softly, meeting his eyes as he smiled genuinely too. “It means a lot.”
“It’s no problem, I just didn’t want you to be alone.” He said softly and shrugged a little.
Y/N smiled softly, though yawned before she could say anything else, her eyes closing for a brief moment. With being exhausted from being sick anyways, paired with the warm soup in her belly and the comforting arm around her shoulders, it was extremely tempting to fall asleep there and then.
“Get some sleep,” Reggie mumbled as he gently rubbed her arm, prompting her eyes to close properly. “I’ll still be here when you wake up.”
“Thanks Reg.” Y/N whispered softly with a sleepy smile across her lips.
“Of course.” He muttered, and pressed a kiss to the top of her head which caused her to smile a little more as she relaxed into him, sleepy and happy in the arm of her best friend.
Best friend, though maybe more.

Watching You
Draco x Y/n
Summary: You get mad at Draco and find yourself in a bad situation
Warnings: Alcohol, angst, Cormac being gross, fluff.
Tumblr media
You & Draco had been together for a little over a year now and things were amazing to say the least. He treated you like the princess you truly were. He showered you with expensive gifts even when you told him it was too much, he made sure to walk you to every class, he held you close when you were stressed out or upset, he took care of you when you were sick, there really wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for you.
Draco was head over heels for you and you knew that. Yet you still had trouble with accepting the fact Pansy Parkinson would never stop pining over him. For years now she’s been obsessed and Draco’s shot her down plenty of times. You thought your relationship would cause her to back off, but it only got worse. She was constantly trying to prove she could be better than you, which in Draco’s eyes was impossible.
You and your roommate Daphne were making your way to the quidditch field to watch Slytherin’s 2nd match against Gryffindor. The two of you were conversing about Slughorn’s latest assignment when you heard Pansy’s god awful voice.
“Oh Drakey, you’re going to do amazing in todays game against Gryffindor I just know it!” Pansy said in a giddy tone while running her hand up Draco’s arm.
“Thanks Pansy.” Draco replied while giving her a look that basically said to go away but that didn’t stop her.
“Potter has nothing on you. I mean look at you, you’re so fit and you’re so good at everything you do.” she said while batting her eyelashes at him and gripping his bicep. That’s when you had enough and you stormed off walking back up to the school not sticking around to watch the match. Why the hell was Draco letting this happen? you thought to yourself. Little did you know he had a select choice of words for Pansy after you left.
You were sulking in your dorm when the match had ended. You didn’t care to come out of your room and congratulate the team. Daphne had just busted through the door in search for you, “Y/n! There you are, we won!! And before you say anything I know your upset but I am going to drag you to the common room party whether you like it or not!” she said while making her way over to you.
“Daph, ugh. I’m just so annoyed with Draco right now I don’t know if I wanna see him.” you replied to her while she gave you a sad smile.
She leant down in front of you, “Y/n, that’s the whole reason we need to go. Let’s get you up, get dressed all pretty and make Draco all flustered over you, yeah?” she said while pulling you to get up, you let out a sigh and nodded.
You put on an emerald green & black checkered high waisted skirt and a black sweater crop top to pair with. You clipped your silver necklace with your initial on it around your neck, slipped on your rings, and put on black booties to tie it all together. You looked in the mirror, fixed your hair a little bit and were satisfied with your look. “You look so hot y/n, now let’s go!” Daphne said while dragging you away from the mirror and into the common room.
The lights were dim, music was blaring, the smell of alcohol was prominent in the air, and students were all over the Slytherin common room. Daphne and yourself headed over to the drink table to start your night. Theo and Blaise were already handing the two of you fire whiskey shots, and you both downed them ready for another.
The four of you had been standing by the table for a couple minutes now conversing and taking shots when you started to feel the alcohol rush to your head. You spotted your boyfriend across the room looking as good as ever in his dark black suit. The alcohol was making you feel confident and you got the sudden urge to make him jealous. You leaned over to Daphne and whispered in her ear to dance with you.
The two of you were standing in between other students swaying to the music and giggling while tripping over each other’s feet. Draco’s eyes have been locked on you the entire time, he knew you were upset with him and he knew to let you cool off a bit before saying anything. So he kept his distance all while keeping a close eye on you. That’s when he noticed the disgusting look on Cormac McLaggens face as he watched you sway your hips.
You were starting to feel extremely hot and a little bit dizzy so you told Daphne you were going to slip out into the hallway quick for some air. You had no idea as you were heading out Cormac got the idea to follow you.
The air in the halls was ten times cooler than in the sweaty booming common room. You decided to walk down the hall a bit and lean against a large pillar in front of a window. You were gazing into the night sky catching your breath when arms wrapped around you from behind. You rolled your eyes thinking it was Draco to turn around and be met with Cormac’s dark eyes.
You could smell the alcohol coming off his breath as he pushed you back into the wall, “What the hell are you doing McLaggen?” you questioned him trying to push him away.
“Oh don’t act like you don’t want it sweetheart.” Cormac said while pushing his left shoulder into your chest. Your right arm was pinned against his torso, and you were trying to push him away with your left.
“Stop, come on don’t!” you cried, as his hand started to slide up your right thigh and he leaned down to whisper in your ear.
“Draco doesn’t have to know don’t worry.” he said breath hot against your skin making you cringe.
Draco had only taken his eyes off of you for a minute to get another drink. When he walked back to his seat he realized you were gone, and that’s when he noticed Cormac gone too.
“Get off Cormac, i’m serious!” You yelled one more time trying to plead with him. As you said that Draco came busting out of the common room coming your way fast.
“Get your filthy hands off her! Stupefy!” He yelled raising his wand and shooting the spell at Cormac sending him flying to the end of the hall.
He stood up abruptly trying to brush himself off and started to speak “Malfoy its not what it looks li- But Draco cut him off, “Get the bloody hell out of here before I use my fist instead of my wand!” he yelled to McLaggen causing him to book it back to the dorms.
Draco spun around fast to be met with you sitting on the ground back against the wall, a blank stare on your face as tears rolled down your redden cheeks. He knelt down in front of you grabbing your hands in his own. “Hey, hey love, it’s alright. You’re okay now I promise.” Draco said delicately brushing a strand of hair from your face.
“Dray.. I’m sorry!” You cried dropping your head low.
He quickly wrapped you in his arms, “No.. no Y/n don’t be sorry. I’m sorry! I had been watching you all night I swear I had my eyes on you the whole time and next thing I knew you were gone. You have no idea how I felt seeing you out here in that position. I shouldn’t have let you out of my sight..”
You looked up into his eyes, “Don’t be, I shouldn’t have been ignoring you. It was stupid, I was jealous and I decided to get stupid drunk in spite. It was my fault.” you said tears filling your eyes again thinking about what just happened a few minutes ago.
Draco grabbed your face to meet his stormy eyes, “Don’t you ever say something like that is your fault. No matter the situation you did nothing wrong y/n, absolutely nothing. And I hope you know when you left the match earlier today I told Pansy off. I told her she’d never compare to you, I told her I wouldn’t give her the time of day because I have you... Now please tell me what you need love?” he said while caressing your cheek.
“Please just hold me Dray..” you asked with pleading eyes.
“Of course, whatever you want. But let’s get you back to my dorm, alright?” he replied and you nodded.
You stepped into his prefect dorm taking in his intoxicating scent that filled the room. You slowly walked over to his bed kicking off your boots and flung yourself down. Draco sat next to you and put a hand on your thigh, and you shifted your gaze to his.
“May I?” he asked gesturing to your clothing, and you nodded.
He started to slowly take off your sweater, and then your skirt, all while simultaneously kissing around your face. He then folded your clothes and laid them on his dresser, and pulled out a large black t-shirt for you to sleep in.
You slipped it on and laid down getting comfortable as you watched him change into his sweats. He made his way over to you and gently crawled under the covers. Draco wrapped his arms around you, letting you lay your head in the crook of his neck. He looked down at your now relaxed state and kissed your forehead softly.
“I love you y/n, and I’ll never let anyone hurt you.. Sleep well my love.” he whispered.
You nodded against his chest and mumbled a quiet “I love you too.” as you fell into a deep sleep in his arms.

For the fic requests? I just love Ben and Devi when they're bantering! Maybe something with that? I need something light and happy until season 3 lol
“Boom! I finished my homework in record time, suck on that, Gross!”
“You’re kidding yourself, Devi,” Ben smirked. “I already finished my homework thirty minutes ago.”
“Joke’s on you,” Devi folded her arms and leaned back onto his headboard. “I finished my English extra credit assignment too.”
“Damnit,” Ben curses under his breath, then exhales to calm himself down. Not to brag, but he learned mindfulness techniques from an exclusive Zoom workshop by… Oh, wait. This was his narration. He didn’t need to brag. “Well whatever, I beat you in the debate tournament today so technically, I was just letting you catch up.”
“You’re just jealous because you know I’m more efficient than you.” Devi turns up her cute little nose triumphantly, and Ben’s heart bursts in his chest.
“Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to watch a few episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians to reward myself for a job well done.”
“Again, Devi?” Ben groans. He usually found her reality TV obsession and colorful commentary endearing, but this was her fourth rewatch of the week. Vanderpump Rules was way better, but she refused to watch it because of how much he mentioned he’d been to her restaurant. (Whoops, here he was mentioning it again. Maybe he did bring it up too much) “You know, Khloe’s not that great. She ate way too many crab puffs at my dad’s holiday party for his clients.”
“You housed two double doubles right after school today.”
“Hey, I need that protein to stay jacked!”
“Whatever, dude. Anyway, can I watch here on my laptop while you scroll Rick and Morty theories?”
“Oh, yeah, sure,” Ben blinks. Why didn’t Devi want to watch with him? Coming up with Rick and Morty theories was something he did when he got lonely, and well… he wasn’t alone right now. He didn’t want peruse Reddit by himself when he could have been hanging out with her, babbling about how Kris Jenner was the ideal businesswoman. “Sorry, I didn’t realize you wanted to watch alone, I can get out of your hair if you need…” He turns over to get his laptop and leave when Devi senses his hurt and rests her hand on his arm.
“Ben, you don’t have to leave,” Devi softens a bit as she sits up in bed. Her eyes widen as she speaks, her voice fluctuating up and down. As annoying as she could be, Ben loved listening to her talk. Whether she was angry, sad, happy, or annoyed, she was always vibrant and lively. Ben, a quiet, lonely kid most of the time, loved being around that energy. “I just thought you wouldn’t want to watch because you don’t like it.”
“I’ll still watch with you, Devi,” A wave of affection comes over him as he watches her blush. He seizes onto his emotions, weaves his hands in Devi’s hair and presses a deep kiss into her forehead. She stutters after, and he’s happy and embarrassed at the same time. He doesn’t know what’s gotten into him. He’d never been so affectionate with Shira, but then again, he didn’t have the same level of feelings he held for Devi. He’d known her all his life and he never expected to like her the way he’d started to in the past couple months, even though she made some, dare we say, questionable decisions. Now even with all her shenanigans, he couldn’t even imagine life with her when she left for India in a couple weeks. “Who else will I go to for colorful commentary on Kim’s social media presence when you move at the end of the semester?”
“Why are you so nice to me?” Devi’s voice cracks as she plays with the corner of his silk pillowcase. Ben conceals his surprise as tears gush out her eyes. It’s okay, he rationalized, calming his initial worry down. She was probably going through a lot, with spreading her dad’s ashes and moving to India and leaving everything she knew behind. Ben wouldn’t be handling it the news well if he was her, too. “All I do is trash your In N Out order and rub my homework efficiency skills in your face.”
“Devi, you deserve someone who’s nice to you.” He assures, and he really means it. She could be difficult and capricious, but she was kind, caring, and felt deeply, just like he did. She deserved to be with someone who treated her well. Ben couldn’t wait to be that person, even as she moved across the world. He was already ordering going away gifts for things she couldn’t get in India and learned how to make the Meat Lover’s Omelet for her and had Patty set up care packages he could send her the first week she was there. He wanted to be a good boyfriend to her. “And honestly… I like that we challenge each other the way we do. Remember how many trash bags we filled up yesterday?”
“Honestly we turned that damn park into Walden Pond,” Devi sniffled and wiped her tears with her sweater sleeve. Ben pats away the rest as more come and smiles softly at her. “But I definitely filled up more than you.”
“Eh, I’ll let you have it. Although there’s no way all those headshots could’ve filled up an entire trash bag.”
“Shut up, Ben you know I beat you,” Devi laughs hoarsely through her snot and punches him in the arm. She calms down for a moment, then leans forward and kisses him again through her damp eyes. Ben holds her closely to him and gives her another kiss on the forehead . Devi lets out a little noise of happiness and pulls up the Kardashians on her laptop. He loved holding her like this, and wanted to cherish every moment of their time before she left- that is, until he sees he’s trying to convert her to a Kardashian lover.
“Seriously, Devi? We’re going back to season one?”
“You need to understand their origin stories!”

TAMAKI BUYING FLOWERS FOR HIS GIRLFRIEND? PLEASE AND THANK YOU, I LOVE YOU
ambrosia | tamaki x reader
Tumblr media
a/n: hello! this is a reupload from my previous blog, katsukisprincess. this was a sfw bnharem server collab piece and you can see the rest of the fics here.
warnings: none, sfw
word count: 2.7k
It had been one week since Tamaki overheard you telling Nejire that he never gave you flowers.
She had been so excited over receiving some of her own as a gift from her partner that morning and came nearly bouncing down the hallway to show them off. Tamaki happened to round the corner right in time to hear her ask when the last time you received any was. His breath caught in his throat, and suddenly he was searching his brain for the last time that he gave you, the partner he loved so very much, something as gentle as the gift of flowers.
Had he ever given you flowers?
“It doesn’t bother me, Nejire, seriously.” Stopping himself from fully entering the hallway, Tamaki laid against the cool brick of the corner wall and listened in. He heard you giggle in response to her comments, but he could hear a slight sadness in your voice. “Graduation is coming up soon, yeah? There will be plenty of flowers there. Now come on, we’re going to be late!”
Tamaki held his breath for a moment, hoping that you two wouldn’t come bounding around the corner to find him eavesdropping, but as he heard your synchronized footsteps disappearing the opposite way across the school, he let go of his breath and allowed his heart to fall into his stomach.
***
Tamaki spent the rest of the day in angst. How could he be so stupid? He knows the impact that flowers have on relationships, especially when he has a partner like you that loves them so much to begin with. He was no stranger to your green thumb; he himself spent hours with you tending to your own in your personal greenery.
After discussing it with Mirio, who tried his best to cheer him up, Tamaki decided that he was going to make up for all the time lost. Instead of sitting through lessons like normal, he decided to say he wasn’t feeling well- something the nurses were quite familiar with when it came to him- and head home early for the day. From there, he got to work.
Researching flowers was more complicated than he was expecting, if Tamaki was going to be honest with himself. He felt overwhelmed as he scrolled through pages and pages of breeds and meanings, scrawling down lists and calling around to see where he could get them all. Once he was finally organized he grabbed his jacket and headed out for the city.
Seven days, he told himself. Seven days to make up for the time lost.
***
That night, you started to worry when no one had seen your boyfriend. It wasn’t like him to disappear, and it definitely wasn’t like him to not answer your texts. The man had his phone nearly taped to his forehead at all times to make sure you were always okay, but now that the roles were reversed, you could see why.
You were seconds away from reaching out to his own mother when Tamaki came busting through the doors of the common room. He was incredibly out of breath and soaked from the rain, and it looked like he was using his umbrella to protect… something else.
“Tamaki, what the f-”
“These are peonies.” Tamaki wheezed out, reaching out with a shaking hand to give you the bouquet. They were beautiful, so beautiful, and the sight of your drenched boyfriend holding them out for you brought tears to your eyes. Had he heard you talking with Nejire earlier? “Apollo used to turn nymphs into these flowers if Aphrodite caught him flirting with them. UH- these aren’t, I’m not flirting, I just-”
You cut him off by kissing him, praying that he held tight to the flowers as you collided with his chest and laced your arms around his neck. Ignoring the grossed out sounds from your classmates behind you and how soaked your shirt was getting because of him, you relished in his wet embrace before pulling back to look at him.
Tears were freely flowing down your face now. Not only was it the first time he had ever gotten you flowers, but you could only imagine the trek he endured to get them to you.
“Thank you, Tama. You’re the best.”
***
The next day was Saturday, meaning that you could sleep in as late as you’d like. You would, normally, but today you were woken up by your curtains being pulled open and the smell of pancakes floating through the air.
“Good morning, baby.” Tamaki whispered, sitting next to you on your bed and pressing soft kisses across your face to help pull you from your sleepy state. When you were finally able to open them, he kissed the tip of your nose and reached out to grab the plate he had made you. Next to a glass of your favorite juice was the most breathtaking vase of red roses.
“Oh gosh, Tamaki.” Your eyes widened, looking between him, the food, and the flowers with a starry-eyed expression. You looked so innocent in that moment, Tamaki decided, that he was silently vowing to himself to wake you up like this much more often.
“Red roses symbolize beauty and perfection.” He filled you in, setting the plate back on the side table. He leaned over where you were laying down, resting his forearm next to your head and his forehead on yours, using his free hand to brush your cheek. “You’re as perfect as life gets.”
***
Day three was soft and sweet.
Walking down the hallway, you noticed Tamaki coming in the opposite direction. You lifted your hand to touch him, but instead he slipped a flower behind your ear before you could speak. He grabbed your chin between his fingers and looked down at you with a gentle smirk. “Red chrysanthemums symbolize passion. I’ll show you what I mean tonight.”
With that he continued to his destination, leaving you doe-eyed and open mouthed in the middle of the hall.
***
“Delivery for (Y/N) (L/N)!” Lecture on day four was interrupted as a delivery man came in, sporting the largest bundle of ambrosia flowers you had ever seen in your life. Your eyes widened as your face grew blushed, realizing immediately who they were from. For someone who hated being in the public eye, you thought, Tamaki sure loved to embarrass you.
“OHHHH LOOK AT THAT! YOUNG LOVE!” Present Mic boomed, nearly rattling very desks you all were sitting in. You buried your hands in your face momentarily before dashing to the front to grab the flowers from the man. Thankfully, Mic was the last person on the planet to be upset over an interruption like this.
You sneakily lifted the card from the bundle, flipping it open to read while Mic rambled on in the background.
Ambrosia flowers are my new favorite, I think. The card read. They symbolize love, like all of the flowers this week, but these feel deeper to me. Deeper is the only word I know how to use to represent how you make me feel, bunny.
In Greek mythology, the word means “food for the gods that bestows immortality.” If we had the chance, I would take that risk if it meant getting to have you until the end of time.
***
Walking into evening training on the fifth day, you noticed Tamaki was nowhere to be found.
“We’re down a pair today,” The instructor noted, and you realized then that Mirio was gone as well. “So you might have to change up your training partners. Get together!”
By the time you made it back to the dorm, you were beat up and ready for a hot shower. Tamaki missing training meant that you had to work with another classmate, and not luckily for you, he was the hotshot that was usually paired with Mirio. That level of strength, you decided, was not for you yet.
Swinging open the door to your room, you were met with one of the most surprising sights of your life.
Tulips covered every inch of your room. Vases of different colored bulbs on your tables, laced from the ceiling so they dangled down exquisitely. From your bed to your door they were placed, all leading up to where Tamaki stood in the middle of the room, holding a single stemmed bulb in his hand.
“Tulips.” You whispered, still unable to take your eyes off of the sights around you. Never had someone put so much effort into a display for you, and you were quite lost for words.
“They symbolize perfect love.” He nodded, pulling you into your room and allowing the door to close behind you. “I plan on loving you ten years for every bulb in this room.”
Looking around, you saw there must have been at least a hundred different tulips. When you smiled at the thought, his own grew with it.

From: Tamaki <3
Meet me after class. Was thinking ramen and bubble tea.
You smiled at your phone as you got ready that morning, already drifting off into the haze that your boyfriend had put you in the last week. Tamaki was an attentive lover, but you’d never seen such a romantic pull from him in your year of dating. Maybe it was because he did hear you with Nejire, maybe it was because graduation was coming closer, but all you knew is that you didn’t want it to ever end.
Lessons, as expected, went by terribly slow. You were nearly vibrating with excitement by the time you were boarding a city bus with your arm laced around Tamaki’s arm, filling him in on the latest in your training experience.
The chatter continued all through the trip, all through eating and all through the dessert after. You decided to walk around the city for a bit before taking the late bus home, wandering through gardens and parks and embracing what it really felt like to be so close to freedom. Your conversations soon fell to silence, but it was comfortable to just walk with his arm around your shoulder and yours around his waist through the incredible park lights.
“What are you thinking about?” You whispered, not wanting to shatter the soft silence of night.
“I’m thinking about how you fascinate me.” Tamaki responded. You looked up at him, which he noticed from the corner of his eye, so he continued. “I’ve never met someone like you. You know how to calm me, you know how to love me just perfectly. You’re so good to me, bunny.”
His words drifted into a whisper as he reached into his pocket, pulling out a long, velvet jewelry case. You gasped, but he didn’t let you argue, setting the box in your hands and nodding for you to open it.
The necklace inside was unlike anything you had ever seen. It was rose gold, metal folded up to form a carnation flower.
“Pure love, adoration, fascination.” Tamaki listed off the meanings, smiling softly as you looked up at him with teary eyes. “You’re my carnation.”
***
It had been one week since Tamaki overheard you telling Nejire that he never gave you flowers.
While a week was short in comparison to your relationship as a whole, it might have been his favorite week in the entirety of it. Nothing compared to seeing the look on your face every single time as he gave you one new- it was addicting to watch you melt.
The seventh day he had prepared a picnic. It was perfect outside, thankfully, and amidst his research earlier he discovered a meadow of flowers that would be the perfect wrap up to the week. He had invited you by note, one he slipped under your door the night before. When you came out right to meet him right on the dot of the time listed, adorned with your new necklace, his heart felt like it grew ten sizes.
The meadow looked like something from a painting, especially under moonlight. You were able to place your belongings in the center of the field, laying out to see the stars. A lot of it was spent in silence, feeding each other grapes and other snacks Tamaki had brought with.
“I don’t think I’m ever going to be someone that isn’t… enamored with you.” Tamaki broke the quiet air, letting his face fall towards the ground, directed to where his fingers were busy twiddling blades of grass. “I go to sleep every night looking out my window and t-thanking the stars for you, bunny. I know that might sound... ” His voice faded off as he reached the end of his thought, his gaze finally pivoting up to meet yours.
Tamaki’s mouth fell open as if he was going to continue, but instead, nothing came out. One hand lifted off from the greenery to trail down your cheek, the awe in his eyes more radiant than the prepossessing full moon behind him.
“I-I love you… fuck, I love you.” He finally whispered, his bottom lip trembling harsher with every syllable. Before you could react minus a hitch in your breath Tamaki had his hands cupping your cheeks, pulling you closer to him so he could crash his lips onto yours. He was shaking like a bug in front of you, and you could feel his heart nearly beating out of his chest as you scooted yourself further into his lap. His hands left your face to help pull you onto his thighs, giving him better access to deepen the kiss and steal your breath further.
When Tamaki pulled away, you could see his face lit up perfectly by the light of the night. His lips, now swollen from your rendezvous, were always so soft. He tasted like the strawberries you had been feeding each other, interrupted slightly by the tang of chocolate they were dipped in. His long lashes batted as he sat in a daze, and you had a good feeling he was thinking the same demure things you were.
“What are you thinking about?” He murmured, letting his eyes fall closed and his forehead rest on yours. You smiled softly at the question, one you asked each other often in your relationship. Gently, so gently, you allowed your hands to wander up to his face, tracing the texture of his cheeks and the dip under his lip. Before you responded, you relished in the feeling of goosebumps rising to the surface of his body as one hand traced the shape of his ears.
“I’m thinking,” You breathed, letting your hands fall to Tamaki’s neck for leverage so you could brush your lips against his. His dragged against yours, and he couldn’t help but reach out for an unassuming peck. “That I know I’ll never be someone that isn’t enchanted by you, Tamaki. You’re a part of my heart.”
Tamaki let a fleeting smirk cross his face before he laid you back gently, allowing your head to tip back and give him access to the soft skin of your neck. One kiss he planted to the right side of your jugular, lingering for just a moment, sucking so slightly, before speaking against you.
“I stand in the presence of Zeus himself and take my fill of ambrosia.” He whispered, falling back onto the place he was kissing on and repeating his pleasant motions. You giggled at his mocking of classical words, thinking back on the recent moments of your life where the flower of ambrosia was woven into your relationship. The vibration of your laughter on his lips was enough to make Tamaki grin, pleased that his playful antics had an effect on you. His lips trailed softly up and down you now, making sure to cover every inch. “You are as sweet as nectar, bunny. You put these flowers to shame… if ambrosia was an option, I would make you mine in every city of the world.”
“We can always pretend.” You whispered, your eyes shifting between either of his. “Ambrosia may be a myth but we can pretend.”
“Forever it is, then, butterfly.”

How Shouta got here was anyone's guess. Sitting on the edge of the roof of UA looking at the shifting colors as night began to fall around him. As the shades of reds mixed with the blues and yellows, how they washed over the buildings and trees with a gentle golden glow, Shouta closed his eyes and smiled. The tear-stained face of the Pro was hidden from view under foundation and tired eyes. With the still night air, he heard the roof entrance unlock and movement behind him.
“Hello, old friend,” Shouta said not even turning to look at him.
“What the hell are you thinking, step away from the edge now.” Mic's voice boomed over the concrete and echoed in the tranquil night air. “Please, people need you…. I need you.”
Shouta took a deep breath and stood to face his old friend. Mic’s face was panicked and he could see the crumpled note in his hand. Shouta was glad to see his friend one last time. He shook with adrenaline as he spoke in a quiet voice barely louder than a whisper. Years down the road Shouta in the confession of therapy would say he said it this way because whispers make people listen while shouting just falls upon deaf ears.
“All my life, I have been in love with the sky. Even when everything was falling apart around me, the sky was always there for me. I’m glad to see it hasn’t changed. Goodbye old friend.” And he stepped off the roof Mic’s voice echoed in the night sky as Shouta plummeted down and down until darkness.
---
That was five years ago. Shouta had been getting better about talking about his depression and the struggles but the one thing he could not do was hurt Mic again. Hizashi also died that day, his cheery disposition of the world changed, and he hasn’t been the same since. He had improved but Shouta still had guilt deep down but would never admit it. Hizashi's confidence was always so fragile, like a child’s, it took him years to return to radio and music. He once in a foggy drunken state told Shouta that music died the day he fell and all the sounds of the world that created such unique and beautiful different melodies, fused into one agonizing wave of sound that made Hizashi hate music and his Quirk. He had gotten better they both had recovered from that day but if they were both being honest, they were still those scared little Pros inside.
When winter came the vows of in sickness and in health were tested. Hizashi got sick first and Shouta played the role of nursemaid and helped him get better therefore it was no wonder Shouta got sick. When he was a child Shouta would hide under his bed to avoid being seen as sick, he had enough of name-calling at school he did not need it at home too. This continued into his adult life even after the accident 5 years ago.
The next time he had woken up he almost suffered acute heart failure from the number of stress hormones that were immediately pumped through his system as long-term best friend and husband Hizashi better known as Present Mic had busted through the bedroom door with a shout of “Shouta” with his remarkably deafening voice. “Wow were you sleeping?”
As if it would be a shock that he was. He has been up most of the night coughing and generally feeling ill. Shouta was having trouble getting out of bed today as a dull pain racked through his body pulsing through every limb. He merely grunted in response and the strawberry blonde-haired man sat down and rubbed his back.
“Shouta,” he asked his voice worried with concern and suddenly Shouta was back on that roof. He shut his eyes and winced at that memory and shook his head. The movement of his head caused the room to spin and he reached out to grab onto something stable the only thing near him being his husband.
The pressure in his cranium had built itself up to the point where he knew he had to get away to get checked out. Somehow, he had to take a trip to get medicine, the question was how would he succeed with such a mission when Hizashi worried about his every movement.
Mic continued to rub his husband's back. After receiving no answer, his usual jovial expression continued morphing into one of pure concern. “Hey, Shouta are you okay?”
The tired pro sighed but when he went to open his mouth the tickle which had been prominent in his sinuses flared to life and he quickly turned his head to the side gripping the side of the bed as the sneezes ripped through his body.
“Heh-R'SSHH! Hh-Hih-AET’SCHHH! ESCCH!”
Hizashi jumped in surprise. “Woah, many blesses,” he said. “I’m going to pick you up some meds, okay?”
Shouta grabbed his arm and said, “no you barely over being sick, I can get some.”
As he went to put on his shoes, he sniffed back the congestion that was threatening to flow. Hizashi watched him gathering his wallet and keys before hugging him tightly and whispered in his ear.
“I know how you get with these things; I call you in a few hours and you better pick up or you’re in trouble. I love you Sky.”
Shouta hugged him back and said, “I love you to songbird.” And he left the house with the sound of thunder in the sky boomed over him.
---
His feet hurt.
It was a stupid thing to focus on. Stupid because Shouta was still heavily limping his way through darkened alleyways and shuffling through crumpled up newspapers and puddles of...something. His breath came out in ragged gasps, the medicine still clutched close to the chest. Shouta had no idea where he was going. He just kept moving- one hand drifting along chipped brick walls and graffiti-stained cement, something to keep him steady. Focused. Home was the mission but it wasn’t the goal. The goal was-
Freedom from the pain.
His knees buckled and Shouta couldn’t stop himself from tumbling forward. He smacked into a dumpster; the weak thump of a body against rusted metal ringing in his ears. The stench of rotten food clawed its way into his nose; the pain now liquid fire in his veins. Get up Shouta told himself even as his eyes started to flutter close. You have to get up. His fingers twitched; they landed in a puddle of something gross. “Please,” Shouta whimpered, squeezing his eyes shut. “Please~” Thunder rolled off in the distance- a heavy, almost shuffling sound. Maybe- maybe he could get clean in the rain? Maybe-----
“Ah, your awake!”
Fuck! Shouta started, brain a sluggish mess. He- the last thing he remembered with solid clarity was collapsing against a dumpster. Rain pattered against the rooftop- a strange melody that did nothing to put the Pro at ease as he stared at the old man before him. He was heavyset, a long red beard neatly trimmed and a topknot giving him off an old school look. Shouta glanced around the room, just a little more awake now. He still felt like shit, wet from the clothes he had when-
“My shoes,” Shouta rasped, gaze falling to his feet. They were bare, his socks neatly placed on the floor with his shoes beside this...futon. A sad, threadbare thing on the floor. It took all he had not to run his hands over himself-no. No injuries. The only thing Shouta wasn’t wearing was his shoes. Shouta inhaled congestion thick and he wiped his nose on the back of his hand. An oven mitt was sitting on the floor between them, a teapot gently clutched in the old man’s hands. “You put band-aids on my heels?”
“I did,” came the quiet hum. “You’ve traveled quite a way. Those blisters are impressive.”
Shouta’s gaze flicked to the two clay cups- one by his feet, the other next to the old man’s knees. Steam started to curl out of the teapot; a fire Quirk perhaps? “...You’ve got a fire Quirk.”
The old man smiled, the corners of his eyes crinkling. “You’re very observant. Yes, I do. Would you like some tea? I have some delicious Herbal Spring at the moment it might help with that cold you got.”
Shouta eyed the teapot in question- the steam was barely more than a little trickle of a cloud. Could he have poisoned it while I was out? He shrugged, looking away.
“Ah good!” The old man leaned forward to pour tea- Shouta first, then himself. “Herbal Spring is a very fragile tea, you know. Raise the temperature too much and you’ll ruin it. Keep the water too cold, and it loses its flavor.”
Shouta didn’t reach for his cup. He heard the soft clink of China being set down on the oven mitt. He- he saw the near-empty room he was in. “Where am I?”
“My tea shop! Aaah well,” the old man smiled again as he reached for his cup. “Soon to be my tea shop. This is a storeroom of sorts.”
Shouta watched the old man drink first. A happy hum, a deep sip that made the Pro finally reach for his cup. He brought it to his lips, taking a tentative sniff. Even with his blocked nose, it smelled sweet. Shouta took the tiniest of sips; the warm liquid sliding down his parched throat with ease. It had a soft note to it; sweet and almost fruity, enough to make Shouta …breathe. “Who are you?”
“Just a simple tea maker.” Another calm sip, the old man closing his eyes for a moment. “Who are you?”
It...it lacked the same venom that Shouta’s question had. The same cautiousness, an almost feral edge to it. The old man’s question was simple. Calm and steady; Shouta bit the inside of his cheek before he took another tentative sip. “No one.”
“It is an honor to meet you, No One.” The teapot was held out like a porcelain olive branch. “More tea?”
Was this...a joke? Shouta bit the inside of his cheek before he held out his cup. There was still plenty of tea left in the small cup and it took all the Pro had not to wince at how hands were still shaking. Hot liquid sloshing about, threatening to go right over the dull rim. Yet...if the old man was going to say anything, he didn’t. He merely poured Shouta more tea, careful to keep the liquid from the rim.
Shouta brought it up to his lips, taking a bigger sip. “You’re,” this time he winced. His throat was still a raspy mess. “You’re not going to ask me why I was outside?”
“Mmm, you’ll tell me when you’re ready.”
Shouta watched the teapot be set gently on the oven mitt, the old teamaker once more quietly enjoying his cup. The two sipped their drinks in relative silence- only broken by the steady drumming of the rain overheard and Shouta sniffling. An odd sort of silence, almost peaceful; Shouta wasn’t bombarded with questions. The old tea maker was content to drink his tea; he’d already downed three cups by the time Shouta had managed to finish one. He sneezed 3 harsh sneezes and drank more tea hoping to soothe the throat. The teapot seemed to rise without being asked; a second cup poured, a second cup that Shouta found himself willingly drinking. “Aizawa,” he whispered, staring down at the amber liquid. The Pro’s voice was painfully loud in the quiet. “My name is Aizawa Shouta.”
The old man gently smiled; callused hands curled around his cup. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Aizawa Shouta.”
“What-” Shouta shifted on his futon; the tremors had finally left his hands. “Who are you?”
“Just an old man with wisdom and regrets,” came the happy reply. “You can call me Enji if you wish.”
Enji? It was a familiar way to address someone he’d just met. Right. “...I’m not calling you Enji.”
“Fair enough,” the old man chuckled and there was something warm in his voice that begged the Pro to relax. Maybe he has another Quirk? Can someone have two Quirks?
Shouta glanced down at his cup, his thumbs brushing the rim. “Why are you doing this?”
“Sharing tea with a fascinating stranger is one of life’s true delights~”
That...was not what Shouta was expecting. He frowned; was it too late to make a run for it? He was pretty sure he had strength in his legs now, even if he still felt awful. “That’s some bullshit,” the dark hair huffed, settling on something solid. Something he could trust. He attempted to rise to his feet and he wobbled for a moment. Pain that rolled through Shouta, begging for him to plop his ass back down. “You’re crazy, old man.”
The old man didn’t move from his spot on the floor. He merely hummed, a red eyebrow rising at the uptick of rain against the roof. “You will need a proper raincoat then. You’ll be soaked if you leave now.”
“...You’re not going to stop me?”
“I cannot stop you from your long journey, Shouta. Just as we cannot stop the fire from burning the log or ice freezing a pond.” Shouta watched the old man set his cup down; empty. “But please,” he groaned as he lumbered to his feet and Shouta was pretty sure he heard joints pop. “Let me get you an umbrella at least.”
His chest hurt. Shouta’s throat was stupidly tight. Painfully tight as he stood there, watching Enji dig around in the storeroom for an umbrella. “...You,” Shouta tried to clear his throat. To stop himself from crying like the idiot he was. “You don’t have-”
He shouldn’t have wasted his breath.
The umbrella was pressed into his hands with care. It was an old thing that had seen better days- a raggedy blue thing with a few frayed strands and a scuffed handle. It was old and worn and the most precious thing Shouta had ever held in his life. “Thank you,” the Pro whispered, clutching it close to his chest.
“Of course,” Enji hummed, bowing in return. “Please stay dry.”
---
Shouta descended the step of the tea shop, his body aching with every step. The medicine still clutched to his chest. The words still echoed in his mind. “You tell me when you’re ready.” He found himself walking the feeling of cool water running down his wet body was quite unpleasant. The wind blustered and the rain pattered on the antique umbrella and the way home seemed twice as long as usual. His mind raced, how could a stranger see so clearly into his mind was it that transparent to everyone that he was broken. As his feet hit the sidewalk a single thought crossed his mind. Hizashi. His songbird. His love. He was probably worried sick. As he pulled out his phone, he saw the screen was broken and as the light lit up his face, he could see 54 unread messages. Fuck. He ran, he didn’t even notice the tightening of his chest and the pain in his limbs, as he rounded the corner almost slipping on the wet pavement. He saw the lightly tan building of his home; the outside light was still on. As he unbolted the door and took a step inside, his heartbeat deafening in his ears, a pair of arms wrapped around his torso and pulled him inside.
As Shouta panted, Hizashi's grip gets getting tighter and tighter. No words were said but the silence spoke volumes. Shouta felt tears spring to his eyes and choked back a sob as Hizashi guided him to the living room sofa and sat him down. Wordlessly Hizashi began to take Shouta's shoes off, gently searching his dark eyes for some kind of answer of where he was. Shouta could not meet his gaze, and just shook from the wet clothes and clutched the sofa tighter. Hizashi nodded and went off down the hall. He returned a moment later with fluffy towels and the first words were spoken.
“Out of those clothes.” Shouta blushed but did as he was told and as each soaked article of clothing was removed from his body it was replaced with a warm fluffy towel. However, it didn’t stop his shivering and Hizashi started rubbing the frozen skin of his lover. After a few minutes, Hizashi suddenly stopped and stood up, turning his back from Shouta.
Suddenly the blond jolted forward. “heh… ehh…. heh'ISSShooo!" and went into the kitchen to grab a box of tissues.
As he sheepishly returned and met the gaze of his husband, he muttered an apology. “Sorry.”
Shouta was at a loss for words. Why was he sorry? It was not his fault Shouta got sick, not his fault he was broken. He had done everything right, Shouta was wrong. He blinked in rapid succession before finding his voice. The voice of Enji filled his head ‘When you’re ready. He spoke with a voice broken and small.
“The day that the rain smelled like ice cream, my cat went to heaven in front of my eyes. The day that the copper pipes in the old building smelled like burnt food, my best friend... went to heaven in front of my eyes. I couldn't save them. It's sad. Neither one had the chance to become an adult. They should have become adults. They should have had children of their own and loved those children. And I want to make that possible for other people. So don’t be sorry. You saved me. I love you.”
He had never expressed that amount of raw emotion in his whole life, not even to his therapist but it felt right. The nerves he felt flowed out of him as his tears decorated his face. As he sat covered in the towel he sobbed, all the emotions he had been holding released like the steam from that teapot that brought him warmth not a few hours before.
Hizashi cradled him, as his body racked with sobs, gently like how a mother would cradle a baby, pausing to kiss him and repeat gentle nothings. As Shouta began to wind down, all the strength he had been pretending he had disappeared and he slumped against Mic and closed his eyes and soon unconsciousness took him.
--
Shouta slept for hours it seemed like. Each dream he had was confusing and odd as if he had two brains competing for the dream. His tired muscles ached and the dull pain between his eyes had increased to a dull migraine. Truth be told he felt awful. But soon his body had had enough and he felt the being of a sneeze. He tried to hold back for a while longer but found it futile. He opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling as the tickle reached its climax.
“Eschht, Eschht eh ugh sniff heh hhh AET’SCHHH!”
The last sneeze ripped through him with such force all the blankets and towel that had kept him warm fell off of him and he was left sniffling chest exposed to the room and his husband who look just as surprised as himself.
“Goodness bless you Sho, you have caught my cold.”
The tired man just groaned and said with a voice still raspy and strained “Not a cold, it's probably the flu, I should have told you sooner, I just- ugh sniff again heh hhh Hit'choo!! Hih-tschh!! Hihh…hih-tsCHEW!”
With the last sneeze, he felt his Quirk go haywire and soon his hair was floating above him and his eyes had turned a red hue. Luckily for him, no one was in the radius but he still felt awful. A hero could only depend on two things in this world, their Quirk and the one they loved. If Shouta could take one of those away without realizing it, it could mean trouble.
Mic had knelt in front of the laying down Pro and gently cupped a tissue around his husband's nose. “Bless your hon, come on blow for me.”
Shouta did a wet gurgling blow and groaned as the Quirk deactivated his dry eyes yearning for water. Mic dabbed at Shouta slowly being red nose and stood. He made his way over to the linen closet and grabbed the warmest winter sweater and returned to his sick husband.
“Arms up you know the drill.” As Mic helped the Pro get dressed, he called out to Siri.
“Hey, Siri, text Doctor Green we are coming in an hour.” As Shouta's head came through the sweater hole he simply frowned. This Doctor had treated him after the accident but was a close friend of theirs. As Siri confirmed the appointment Mic sensed Shouta's discomfort and replied to him. “I know sweetie you don’t like the doctor but you know he can help better than over-the-counter drugs. He continued and I will be there the whole time.”
Shouta shook his head. “Together,” he said in a small voice
Mic helped the sickly Pro stand and guided him to the mirror next to the door and kissed him on his flushed skin. “Forever Together.”
--
The train ride for the first leg of the journey was uneventful. The hum of the fluorescent lights and the moving subway train was distracting enough to distract other passengers from Shouta's constant sniffling. Mic was stood holding on to the overhead bar while Shouta was sitting with his head in his hands. Mic was constantly asking if Shouta needed anything even though he would not be able to provide much relief besides encouraging words. As the overhead speakers announced their stop Mic helped Shouta stand as the train came to a hard stop be cursed in English as Shouta stumbled forward again him.
The misty afternoon after the rainstorm was heavy in the air but still, Shouta shivered a clear sign of a fever and the couple picked up the pace to the doctors. As they rounded a corner a few blocks away they were met with the flashing blue and red of a line of police cars. As heroes, they knew a situation was happening. Mic half dragging Shouta went to them who seemed to be in charge of the crowd of citizens and asked what was happening. The short man with light brown hair replied with the normal answer for any citizen. “Nothing to worry about Sir heroes will handle it.” Mic frowned and dug in his pocket and grabbed his Hero license and flashed it at the man. Taken aback the man quickly responded. “Oh, um sorry, a Jewelry store has been taken hostage, he paused before continuing “my chief might need an extra few hand…he paused and looked at the struggling man Mic was holding up “is he also able to help.” Mic didn’t have time for this and he ducked below the police tape and began walking to the line of cop cars. Shouta followed but sluggishly. As he neared the chief of the police, he quickly scanned the street. He could see the jewelry store in question had a broken window and was heavily surrounded by local heroes as well as other members of the police task force. As Shouta caught up his eyes were half-closed and looked like he was going to pass out any second. Before Mic could attend to Shouta a round of gunshots filled the air and out of instinct he grabbed both of them and they hit the pavement hard. After a few moments, he helped Shouta lean against a cop car tire and checked over his body. ‘No wounds’ Mic thought ‘I don’t have time for this we need to get through this street.’
Mic looked at the task force and saw the numbers had decreased whoever was in the store had an amble firearm. As a local hero approached the car Mic asked what the status was and what they know. The local hero stating that the man inside the store had a bullet-type quirk and could shoot many rounds of ammo and was demanding everyone to leave and no one would get hurt.
Mic thought ‘a bullet type quirk, like Pro hero Edgeshot’ Mic continued to question. Did they have any other people with them? The local hero shook his head no they are alone. Mic could work with this. He waved over the chief, a man he had worked with a few other times.
If they could stop the man quirk do, they have enough to help the hostages and defeat the villain. The chief simply nodded his head and Mic set to work.
He gently shook the arm of Shouta who barely raised his head. “Hey love I know you are exhausted but we need you Quirk right now can you aim your Quirk over to the storefront.
Shouta tried Mic had to give him credit for that, but as soon his hair started to rise it quickly fell. Shouta mumbled a response thick with congestion. “I. Can’t…tired”
Mic rubbed his arms in understanding and replied “What about if we use your illness as an advantage, you can’t control when it happens right, what if we use that.”
Shouta turned to look at Mic. “What are you suggesting?”
Before he could reply another round of gunshot shot at them and he quickly covered Shouta's body with his. He immediately felt the sharp pain as a bullet entered him under his ribs, and he could feel the blood start to spill. With an adrenaline-filled body, he quickly pulled Shouta into a somewhat kneeling position and aimed his head toward the storefront. “I’m sorry about this love this isn’t going to be big on dignity.”
He grabbed the end of his ponytail and brought the split ends to the underside of Shouta's nose. The already irritated organ began to twitch as the strands of hair slowly twisted around.
Shouta tried to ignore the incessant prodding of the frizzy hair against his sensitive nose, but with each swipe, the tiny hairs that shook loose were soon sucked up into his twitching and quivering nostrils.  He shuddered and froze in place a tear slowly trailed down from his eye to his cheek as his nose began scrunching and wriggling from the irritation.
“Come on Shouta you can do it,” Mic said. Shouta’s chest heaved and he couldn't help but give in to the itchy and tickly urge to expel those irritants from his nostrils.
“H...hhih...” The beginnings of a sneeze showed as his eyes began to droop. His chest expanded further “Haaahhh! Aaahhhh!”  His eyes fully closed, head tilting back and signaling the oncoming release.  Mic aimed his face toward the storefront and sent a silent prayer that this would work.
“Hit'choo!! Hih-tschh!! Hihh…hih-tsCHEW!”
As Shouta sneezed his hair lifted with ease and soon the storefront was temperately Quick free. Mic activated his Quirk and told the task force to go. Shouta was still panting from sneezing but his eyes were open however Mic didn’t know how long he could keep them open. As the task force ran in the subject found his Quirk would not activate and soon found himself being put in handcuffs and a medical device being placed that would stop his Quirk without the help of Erasure.
As Mic received the thumbs up, he spoke to his shaking husband who was struggling to keep his eyes open. “Bless your hon you did it, you can relax now.” As Shouta did all the energy slipped from him and he lost consciousness and slumped over on the wet pavement. Mic grabbed the fragile man and began to walk to the nearest ambulance, as he stepped into the back of the ambulance the medic and himself helped Shouta into the gurney, and soon the siren wailed and they were finally off to their destination.

As they entered the hospital fast lane and the medic was ready to receive both of the ProS, Mic was insistent to be placed near Shouta as he wasn’t comfortable around hospitals. The medic nodded and escorted them to their joined room. Shouta was seen to first. They took blood and gave him fluids; they also provide pain medicine and sadly they had to wait until he woke up.
Mic surgery was quickly scheduled. He met with the surgeon while sitting next to Shouta and rubbing his arm. The female was fairly tall and had blue tint to her eyes and white hair. She explained the surgery before Mic consented.
“Upon examination, we identified 1 cm diameter entry wound at the left lower abdominal wall, Sir. The images we took showed the bullet in the peritoneal cavity but no injured intraperitoneal and retroperitoneal viscera. We decided to remove the bullet laparoscopically.” Mic nodded. She noticed the band around his finger and smiled. “How long have you two been together?”
Mic smiled and replied “4-year next month, but I have known since we were 14 that this is what we both needed.” He paused before swallowing hard “We've been through a lot but I can’t imagine life without him. He is my whole life, my Sky. He bent down and kissed the sleeping man's hand.  The surgeon smiled and spoke “I see, well that must be hard with both of you rushing into battle all the time,” she looked down at her clipboard before continue “I have treated a lot of patients in my day but never have I seen a love quite like your, it’s very special.”  A monitor beeped and the surgeon motioned him to follow. “Well, shall we take care of the bullet Mr. Hizashi. Mic kissed Shouta’s hand before leaving the room.
--
Shouta was hot. It was too bright wherever he was. His mind was foggy. He groaned as he sat up, he immediately recognized the smell of a hospital. What happened. The last thing he remembers is the sound of gunshots and Hizashi…Shit Hizashi he jerked into a sit-up position and looked around. The nurse that had been changing his fluid jumped back. “Calm down you’re okay! Just relax.”
“Where is he…what happened?” He asked rage filling his croaky voice. The nurse replied, “Sir he is in surgery he will be out soon don’t worry he is okay.” She laid him back against the pillows before continuing “We need to make sure you’re okay Sir make sure you don’t have a concussion. He pulled out a light and shown it in his eye without much warning. The tickle flared to life and he turned his head.
“Issh’iIEWW!....hhh..heh… “TSCHTIEW” Thankfully his Quirk did not activate he wiped his nose on the back of his arm as the nurse apologized.
“Sorry Sir, but the good news is you don’t have a concussion so you will be out of here as soon as we can get some medicine and your husband is awake.”
Shouta relaxed slightly and closed his eyes and tried to keep the panic from getting too much to handle. Within the next 2 hours, Shouta tried to not be a bother to any of the staff but his flu had proven a little too much for him to handle.
As a nurse with a gravity-type quirk was walking down the hall with floating plates of dinner, he groaned as another tickle forced him to sneeze and he felt his quirk activate and he heard the crash as the dinner plates fell and crashed on the floor. Many of the nurses were understanding but he still felt awful. When his husband was wheeled into his room Shouta's eyes began to water and he had to fight back tears. The surgeon explained the surgery was a success and he would be discharged later today. She told Aizawa in a voice soft and comforting. “He loves you so much, you are a very lucky man.” She sat on the edge of his bed and looked into his eyes. “I know you feel broken but he is trying so hard to make sure you are taken care of. The world is a cruel place and I know you have suffered more than most. But know this, he loves you and has sworn to protect you. You might be a Hero to the public but he is your Hero, let him save you. She wiped a tear from her eye and turned to leave. Before leaving the room, she said “Oh and you have a gift make sure to grab it before leaving.” And placed a small box on the counter next to the door before leaving him.
When Hizashi woke and passed all the discharge tests and Shouta had his medicine they left the hospital holding each other’s hand and holding a box of tea that they would use for the rest of their life.
The end.

five.
“Oh, fuck, he’s good,” Yeji gasps, shoving her phone into Maddie’s hands before faceplanting into the table.
“Are you H-T-T-P because I’m colon-slash-slash without you,” Maddie reads with a chuckle, thumbs hesitating over the keyboard. “Quick, YN, look up some pick-up lines.”
Closing the tab on the article you should be reading but has been long forgotten, you promptly do as you are told and open the first link from your search, Minho and Jisung leaning in to help. “There,” Jisung stops you, pointing to one, “’Are you a parking ticket? Because you have fine written all over you.’”
The table can’t help but burst into laughter at such a sentence. It’s stupid, but ever since Yeji and Kim Sunwoo began texting, their conversations have been full of tacky puns and emoji-filled compliments.
“Damn,” Maddie whistles, setting the phone back into Yeji’s limp hand, “he’s already typing back.”
“Gross,” Ryujin teases, busy typing away on her laptop. How she manages to multitask so well is a skill you certainly lack. “Why don’t you just like, I don’t know, ask him out?” Jisung asks and when you glance up, he’s looking at you. “Because that’s the guy’s job,” Maddie quickly saves the day, winking to you when you send her a grateful smile.
“Bullshit,” Jeongin scoffs. Everyone, even Ryujin, stops to look at him.
Did he just curse?
“I mean, like,” he stammers, cheeks turning rosy at all the attention, “it’s 2020. Guys have insecurities, too.”
“I agree,” Minho hums, looking to Maddie with hearts in his eyes, “that kind of confidence is enough to make any boy fall in love.”
“Yeah, but—”
Lia rebuts, but your attention quickly falls elsewhere when a text message first appears on your laptop, then your phone.
hwang hyunjin🦔🕺🏻💞🧻 [now] Where r u rn?
Unable to fight your smile, you quickly type back.
[3:39 PM] YN: outside hollin st café [3:39 PM] YN: why? :)
“Have you seen their new house, YN?” Minho asks, prompting you to click your phone off and set it back on the table. “Whose house?”
“Changbin’s parents.”
“Oh,” shaking your head, you distantly curse Chan for keeping your friend busy today. Unlike Jisung, Changbin likes to write lyrics and do whatever other music stuff during the day at a normal time instead of the middle of the fucking night while stoned and trying to finish his computer science assignments at the same time. “No, he forgot to send me pictures.”
“Dude,” Jisung sighs dreamily, “it’s huge. So nice. I think the front door alone could cover tuition.”
“Is it really that nice?” Maddie asks in awe.
“He started to show me pics the other day but couldn’t finish but the kitchen… unnecessary,” Ryujin quips, pausing her work to check her phone. “Yeah, it’s insane. The whole place is unnecessary but the kitchen is like, a house in itself,” Jeongin hums, head shaking in disbelief.
“Damn, now I really want to see it,” you sigh, making a mental note to hunt Changbin down so he can show you. “It’s like Hyunjin and his rings,” Minho snickers, “he has so many. Whenever we’re out, if he sees a ring, boom. It’s his.”
Well, he’s not wrong but… You bite your tongue no matter how badly you wish to defend Hyunjin and his affinity for rings and jewelry in general. The boy has taste, what can you say? You certainly are not complaining about Hyunjin’s long fingers and the way he chooses to decorate them.
“I never thought I’d hear Changbin’s parent’s kitchen be analogous to Hyunjin’s jewelry collection, yet here we are,” Maddie chuckles, leaning over Yeji to peek at her conversation with Sunwoo.
“Wow, speak of the devil,” Jisung pipes up of course as soon as you have reopened the tab to your assignment. Changbin or Hyunjin, you don’t know, head whipping up to find out and a peculiar mix of relief and panic settling over you once you spot the latter. “Uh oh, YN’s gonna go into cardiac arrest.”
As subtly as you can, you elbow Jisung in the stomach and smile at Hyunjin as he nears. “Hey,” keeping his eyes on you, Hyunjin approaches your table and stops behind Maddie opposite from you, “I’m sorry, I should have asked if you were busy.” His cheeks, already flushed, burn pinker once he looks away to smile weakly at everyone else.
“I’m not busy!” You squeak, scrambling to close your laptop and shove it in your bag. “Are you sure? I can come back later?” He offers, tilting his head and this is when you realize he is holding a bubble tea in each hand. And from the looks of it, one seems to be your usual order. “No, she’s not,” Jeongin answers for you, recognizing your stupefied expression.
“I was just – yeah. No,” rushing to stand and swing your legs out around the bench, you nearly fall flat on your face, “I wasn’t doing anything, actually.” Steadying yourself with a hand on Minho’s shoulder, you heave a labored breath before carefully walking to meet Hyunjin.
“Okay,” he beams, either oblivious to how flustered you are or simply choosing to ignore it. Turning to wave to your friends, he hands you one of the cups and you realize it is, in fact, your favorite boba. Oh boy. “See ya later,” you wave to them as well, nose wrinkling when both Jisung and Maddie wink in return.
Following after Hyunjin, you finally allow yourself to take notice of his attire and can’t help but feel confused. He looks good. And not in the good attractive way—he always looks good. But good as in formal. It’s four o’clock on a Tuesday in October and he’s out here looking as if he just got out of a business meeting. White button-down tucked into fitted black slacks, dress shoes, black tie, and he even has a black suit jacket draped over his arm. His hair is styled, too; ever since he dyed it back to black, he’s been growing it out long enough for his bangs to cover his eyes. Now, however, it’s parted down the middle and seems as if he’s ever so slightly curled it away from his face.
Suddenly, you feel ridiculous walking beside him in mom jeans and a baggy sweatshirt from high school.
“Thanks for the boba,” you mumble around your straw, brain still preoccupied trying to get over how utterly handsome he is. “Why do you look so fancy?”
The side of his mouth twitches up at your words, but his eyes stay glued to the sidewalk as you continue to your unknown destination. “I had an audition,” Hyunjin admits, voice devoid of emotion as if it’s not important at all. “An audition?” You echo. “Why do you sound so not super mega excited? How did it go? What was it for?”
“Well—”
“Wait!” You interrupt, stopping your walk once you realize he had an audition and you didn’t know. “You had an audition? What – why didn’t you tell me?”
Hyunjin frowns, avoiding your gaze and dragging his bottom teeth over his top lip. “I didn’t tell anyone,” he finally says before reaching for your hand and tugging you away from the walkway and into your campus’ main courtyard. “Why? Is it some sort of secret or something, Hyunjin?” You scoff, sounding way more annoyed than you intended. But you are annoyed; why didn’t he want to tell anyone?
“No,” he sighs, finding an empty area in the grass and lowering himself to sit, “I just… didn’t want anyone to know. Didn’t want to make it a big deal.”
“Hyunjin,” you sigh, visibly softening for him and settling down next to him, crisscrossing your legs, “it is a big deal. I don’t know what it’s for, but if it’s important enough for you to audition, then it’s important to us, too. You don’t need to be humble twenty-four-seven, you know. I’m sure you could have used our support.”
“I didn’t get it, though,” Hyunjin whispers, “they just – I didn’t get in. I wasn’t good enough.” Sensing the sadness in his voice, you find a lump forming in your throat when you notice the way his bottom lip trembles. “Hey,” panicking, you set your boba down and sit up on your knees to wrap your arms around him, cradling his head into your chest once tears start falling, “no. Don’t ever say you’re not good enough, Hyunjin.”
“But if I did better, practiced more, than I would—"
“Stop,” you hush, combing your fingers through his hair and brushing strands away from his eyes, “I’ve never met someone who works as hard as you do. You can’t beat yourself up over this. Everything happens for a reason. You don’t know what could have happened if you got in. You could have hurt yourself eventually, or maybe met someone who’s a real asshole.”
“Yeah,” is all he says, quiet and muffled when he turns to press his forehead into your sternum, body still trembling as he lets out all his tears. You stay like that for a while, holding him against you and soothing a hand up and down his back until his sniffling falls quiet. “Listen,” you finally sigh, grabbing him by the shoulders and pulling him back. Your heart sinks once you take in the wet trails down his cheeks and the puffiness of his eyes. “Forget about it. Was it something for dance?”
When he nods subtly, you cup his face in your hands and swipe his cheeks with your thumbs. “You are an amazing dancer, Hyunjin. You can’t let this get to your head. And I don’t want you working your ass off more than you do already. Practice makes perfect, sure, but you need to rest. What about the idea Changbin came up with?”
“The YouTube thing?”
“Yes! Filming dance tutorials or just posting your routines is a really good idea,” you remind him, wiping your hands on your jeans once he falls back onto the grass with a gentle thud, hair flaying around him like a halo. Your limbs twitch with the urge to lie beside him, maybe throw an arm around him and rest your cheek on his chest, fingers tracing the soft features of his face, stroking through his hair and reminding him just how innately perfect he is, inside and out. You, of course, resist such a temptation, flopping down beside him and staring up at the clouds with a heavy heart.
“I could do that. Maybe,” Hyunjin huffs. Tilting your head to look at him, you find yourself knee-deep in that familiar longing feeling, pausing simply to appreciate how pretty he is in the evening sun, cheeks rosy from crying and hair begging to be touched. Shaking your head to rid such daydreams, you remind yourself how fragile his emotions are right now. Now is no time to get caught up on a fantasy. Reaching for your tea, you lean up on an elbow and redirect your gaze to the trees, the promise of winter having turned what was green burnt sienna and butterscotch, leaving trees barren and branches swaying gently in the crisp breeze that leaves you curling into yourself. “You should,” you hum, distant, mind clawing to come up with the words you want to say.
“Come here,” Hyunjin says now, voice stronger than before and when his hand wraps gently around your wrist, you can’t find it in yourself to resist. Allowing him to pull you back down beside him, you curl into his side, resting your head a safe distance away from his own and onto the curve of his arm. “Thank you for being so good to me,” he expresses. You squeeze your eyes shut when the arm you lie on wraps around your shoulders and pulls you substantially closer. “I need to tell you something.”
A long stretch of silence falls upon you and for a moment, you are unsure the words even left your mouth. What are you thinking?
“Wait! I have something first,” Hyunjin sighs, missing the way your breath hitches. “Okay,” you whisper, fiddling with one of the buttons on his shirt and focusing all your attention there.
“I just – I think… I owe you an apology,” he finally says, “I need to apologize for something that I did a while ago that I know probably hurt.” Your chest tightens. There’s a lot that has hurt you when it comes to Hyunjin, but none that he’s done purposely. None that are his fault. None that he should be apologizing for.
“I feel like we came to some mutual understanding to not mention what happened when we were freshmen, but it kills me to know that – that something happened, and we never talked about it,” Hyunjin starts, grip tightening on your shoulder and suddenly, you think you are dreaming. This cannot possibly be real. “I know it was awkward but, I also know me and Yiren dating was… ah. I don’t know.”
When he falls silent, you are unsure of what to say or do. You have no idea what the end goal of this conversation is. Hardly a minute ago, your heart and your brain decided it was time to tell him. Now, you’re not so sure you can do that until he finishes, and you are not about to give him your two cents if his reasoning for bringing it up is not the same as yours.
“I just want to apologize for not being brave enough to talk to you about it. I know I was confused, but I’m sure it was worse for you when they told you about her,” Hyunjin continues, sensing your rendered silence, “and it’s been so long since that happened, and now, you’re one of my closest friends.” Ouch.
“But I’ve been thinking,” when he picks up again, your eyes fly open in a panic. He’s been thinking. Hyunjinhas been thinking. You think you are going to pass out. “And I just feel like we… me and you, I mean—"
The standard iPhone alarm blares from beside you, promptly cutting him off and you think it is the biggest cockblock known to man. “Shit,” he hisses, leaning up to tug his phone from his pocket and in the process nudging you from your comfortable position. Sitting back up, nerves aflame and heart racing, your brows shoot up in confusion when all he does is stare at the number calling him. “What are you doing?”
“It’s the studio I was just at,” he scoffs in disbelief, barely glancing at you before looking back to his phone. You have never wanted to shrivel up and die as much as you want to right now. “Well? Aren’t you going to answer?”
Hyunjin makes a noise of acknowledgement before tapping the green icon and bringing the phone to his ear. “Hello?”
Sitting quietly beside him, you watch with a forced smile as his hummed responses and subtle nods morph into enthusiastic laughs and wide, beaming smiles. Hyunjin notices your confusion when you tilt your head, mouthing a ‘What?’ to him.
“They made a mistake,” he whispers, covering the speaker of his phone, “read off the wrong Hwang. I’m in.” When he grins excitedly at you, your response isn’t as cheerful as it could be. As it should be. “Yay!” You whisper, clapping gently but quickly turning to your boba when the other line begins speaking again. Looking away, you take a hefty sip, nearly choke on a tapioca ball, and build the walls around your heart up all over again in a matter of seconds.
“I’ve gotta go,” whispering, you manage one more pained smile before getting to your feet and wiping your butt of any possible grass stains, “good luck!” When he shines you one more breathtaking smile and waves excitedly, you hastily head in the other direction, wrapping your arms around yourself and swallowing past the lump that threatens to form the farther you walk.
It must be nice, you think, frantically wiping at your waterline. Must be nice to put yourself out there and have things work out the way you want them to. Must be nice being told you’re ‘in,’ you’re wanted, you’re desired.
It must be nice.

six.
Pick up food, you said. Ask Jisung, you said.
Your conscience is a big fat oompa loompa ass bitch. You would have never called Jisung to ask him if he wanted anything from Taco Bell if you knew he was with Changbin. And not just Changbin, you realized four minutes into your call; Seungmin and Hyunjin, too. Apparently he went over their place to record, or something, and didn’t care to let you know. Not that you’re his mom and he has too—but it would have been nice, and would have saved you from spending almost fifty dollars at Taco Bell.
“I tried calling Jisung but he didn’t answer,” you snap once Seungmin answers your call with a muffled hello. “Can one of you please come out and help me carry this in?” You glance at the five large sodas and two bags full of food in your passenger seat with a grimace. “Sure,” he agrees and you make a mental note for the umpteenth time just how much you love Seungmin, “I’ll be out in a sec.”
True to his word, you spot him making his way out of their apartment and across the small courtyard to meet you by your car not even a minute later, hauling each bag under his arms. “Thank you,” left only with the cupholder, you hurriedly lock your car and follow after him. “No problem. Thanks for being our Uber Eats,” then, pursing his lips, “how much was this?”
“Forty-seven something,” you grumble unhappily, knowing this was a big hit to your debit. “We’ll pay you back, don’t worry,” Seungmin smiles, leading you up the final flight of stairs and kicking open the ajar door.
Immediately, you’re hit with the smell.
“Dear, fucking hell,” making a face, you rub your nose to keep from sneezing, “it reeks in here. How have you guys not been kicked out yet?”
The stench of weed generally does not bother you anymore, but still—they could light a candle, or something. Seungmin shrugs, setting the bags down on the kitchen counter. “Luck, I guess.”
“IS THAT YN?” From another room, you hear Changbin shout, followed by an excited shriek from Jisung. “They’re high. Very high. You’ve been warned,” Seungmin whispers just as tweedle dee and tweedle dum themselves come flying around the corner. “YN!” Jisung grins, engulfing you in a dramatic hug. “Watch,” you hiss, regarding the blunt held between his fingers that comes dangerously close to your hair.
“Sorry,” he smiles, then, without warning, sticks the thing right between your lips. “I didn’t even offer.” Well, when life gives you lemons…
You hesitantly take the hit and blow the smoke away from him. You weren’t planning on getting high today, but here you are. “Thanks,” shaking your head as if that will clear it, you turn to Changbin and snugly wrap your arms around him. Every day you thank the heavens that he is a chill, calm high, unlike your maniac of a roommate.
“Thanks for the food,” fishing into his pockets and pulling out a crumpled ten-dollar bill, he slaps it into your palm. You only hum in reply, shoving it into your own pocket and praying you don’t lose it before you remember to put it in your wallet. “Where’s Hyunjin?” You ask, no longer caring about being slick.
“In his room,” Seungmin answers, rummaging through the bags to find what he ordered. Then, “HYUNJIN!” You jump, reaching for your soda and standing away from the other three until they have claimed whatever belongs to them. No sooner than Seungmin calls for him, you hear a door being cracked open and out comes Hyunjin.
He looks extremely disheveled. Like, just woke up from a two-month hibernation, disheveled. In the blink of an eye, however, he rakes a hand through long blonde hair and promptly sets a baseball cap backwards to keep the strands away and suddenly, he doesn’t look so disheveled anymore. You force yourself to look away, cursing the way your gut twists.
“Gimme my crunchwrap,” you say around your straw, snatching the blunt from Jisung’s fingers and moving around him to fetch your dinner. He doesn’t even protest.
He knows you need it more than he does.
“That’s a lot of food,” Hyunjin says once he has finally entered the kitchen, voice groggy and eyes puffy from sleep. Or from being high, you can’t tell. Pressing his chest to your back, he wraps one arm around you to keep you against him while the other reaches into a bag to take what’s his. Swallowing past the desert dryness of your throat, you manage a thick inhale from the blunt before tilting your head to look at him and mentally thanking the other three for taking it as their cue to head out.
“Not my fault you guys eat like animals,” you chuckle shakily, trying to ignore the firmness of his body against yours, veins prominent on the arm that holds you against him and the ripple of muscle along his abdomen noticeable even through his shirt and yours. Dear god, it is too early for this. Not even seven o’clock and you are already drooling in more places than one.
Hyunjin pouts as if it is not true. “How much do I owe you?” He asks, finally moving away to grab his drink and you can’t help your disappointment, quickly finishing the blunt before tapping it out into one of the many ashtrays. “Don’t worry about it,” you wave off, digging through their drawers for a paper plate.
“YN,” Hyunjin deadpans, regarding you with a raised brow once you come up and begin unwrapping your food. You refuse to look him in the eye. “What do I owe you?” He repeats, firmer this time and it sends a chill down your spine when it most certainly should not. Sighing, you retrieve the receipt from your pocket and count everything he got. “Thirteen.”
Humming in content, Hyunjin reaches for his wallet on the counter and pulls a ten and five out. “There,” he beams, tucking the bills into your pocket himself. Rolling your eyes, you pray he does not notice how you flush and hurry out of the kitchen to join Seungmin on the sofa.
“House Hunters?” You ask with a laugh, looking at the TV once you have settled next to him. “I told you HGTV is the best.”
Seungmin hums in agreement. “I thought it was stupid at first, but Hyunjin was watching Fixer Upper and I got addicted,” he says, nodding to the older boy doing a little dance in the kitchen as he eats one of his tacos. Your heart does somersaults at the sight. “They’re all so good,” you agree after taking a few bites of your own food, eyes trained on the television, “House Hunters is a classic, though.”
“I like the international one,” Hyunjin adds on his way over, crashing unceremoniously next to you. Out of the corner of your eye, you notice Seungmin wrinkle his nose when Hyunjin sets his free hand casually on your thigh. “Shh,” he grumbles, vaguely gesturing to the screen and chewing a mouthful of food, “I wanna hear what the house has.”
One episode turns to two, which turns to three, which turns to four, and suddenly you have been watching House Hunters with Seungmin and Hyunjin for almost three hours. It definitely is the weed, always making time perpetually slower, and it did not help when Jisung and Changbin reappeared sometime during your binge with one of Felix’s bongs. Not necessarily how you intended to spend your precious Friday night, but there is no sense in complaining when you are with your buddies and Hyunjin, of course.
Taco Bell long gone, you watch with blurry eyes when Hyunjin gets up from his slumped position against you to head into the kitchen and open the freezer. This, as well as the realization that House Hunters has ended and gone to some other, not-as-cool show, brings both you and Seungmin somewhat back to reality.
“It’s almost ten,” Seungmin announces, staring dazedly at the time on his phone. You hum in acknowledgment, certainly sober enough to reply but simply too lazy to. “I think I’m going to bed. Or play something. Don’t wreck the place,” he sighs, dragging a hand down his face before standing up. “G’night, Minnie,” you smile, watching with a furrowed brow as he continues down the hall and into his room. It isn’t until you hear his door click shut does the weight of being alone with Hyunjin settle on your chest.
It’s not like you haven’t spent time alone with Hyunjin before. In fact, that usually is the way it’s been in the past three years; whether the two of you decided to do your own thing or the rest of your friends eventually left or went to bed, you are used to this feeling. Used to ignoring the butterflies in your gut when he does something particularly cute and used to tampering down the mental images you conjure up knowing it’s just you and him.
But that doesn’t make things any easier. No matter how hard you try, you simply can’t help but feel this way around Hyunjin, especially when you’re alone. That’s just the way the cookie crumbles.
“Whatcha wanna watch?” Hyunjin asks around one last spoonful of ice cream before setting the pint back into the freezer. “Uhh…” You drone, blinking heavily at the TV and back to him as he makes his way back over. “I dunno, I’m sure you’ve been watching some drama. You can put that on.”
“You sure?” He asks with a raised brow, collapsing next to you and slumping dramatically halfway down the cushions. “Yes,” laughing, you find yourself reaching out to tuck messy strands of hair back behind his ear without hesitation, “also, why are you wearing a hat inside?”
Hyunjin pauses, straining to look up as if he will be able to see the back of his cap against his forehead. “I’m wearing a hat?”
“Yes, you idiot,” in comes the endless weed giggles and you find yourself unable to stop laughing, watching with teary eyes as he sits up and takes his hat off. “I don’t remember putting this on,” he chuckles airily, flipping the cap back and forth in his hands before tossing it onto the coffee table. “Should I cut it?”
“No!” You shout a little too quickly and a little too loudly. Shrinking against the arm of the couch, you ignore his amused smile and look to his long hair, freshly bleached strands falling down to his neck and shorter pieces brushing against his cheeks. Fuck, it should be illegal to look this good. “I like it long. It really suits you.”
“It’s annoying,” Hyunjin grins despite his complaint, lifting his legs onto the couch and flopping onto his side, head now resting on your lap. “I don’t know what to do with it.”
Now that he’s offered playing with his hair on a silver platter, you don’t hesitate combing your fingers through it, tugging out pieces stuck under his head and brushing it out completely. “You could pull the sides back,” you hum distantly, separating a section of hair near his temple to pull back, “or make a bun with what you can. You just have to play around with it.”
Humming in agreement, Hyunjin resituates himself after reaching for the remote and switching to Netflix. When you go back to simply raking your fingers from root to tip in irregular directions, you don’t miss the way his eyelids flutter at the motion and make sure to pay extra attention to his scalp. When this turned into a head massage, you’re not entirely sure.
The drama Hyunjin puts on is unbearable. You stopped paying attention a while ago, focusing more on him and how he seems to enjoy it, fingers busy braiding random sections of hair, taking them out, and then braiding them again. With two finally done the way you want them to, you are midway through the third when your fingers begin to cramp up.
“Why’d you stop?” Hyunjin asks seconds after you drop the braid and stretch your fingers out. “Fingers are cramping,” chuckling at the disappointed pout of his lips, you crack what knuckles you can before going back and undoing the unfinished braid. “Oh,” he mutters, cheek still pressed against your leg, “feels good.”
Humming in response, you ignore the way his words make your heart swell and begin gathering all his hair into a ponytail, pressing the braids to lay flat and finally tying it with a hair tie once you have combed up all that you can. Immediately, his bangs and hairs closer to the nape of his neck fall out, leaving the ponytail spikey and messy. At least the braids look good. You can’t help but giggle.
“What?” Hyunjin asks, pausing his show and leaning up. “What’d you do?”
“Go see for yourself,” pointing to the bathroom, you comb out a looped piece of hair before he stands to do just that. His ponytail bobs the entire walk there.
When he reaches the door and flips the light on, you watch from your position as he checks himself out, brushing away his bangs and flicking the pony. You frown when he accidentally yanks at a braid.
“Come here,” you say, sitting up, “you messed up the braid.”
“Honestly,” Hyunjin considers his reflection one last time before skipping his way over, “it doesn’t look half bad.” Expecting him to sit back next to you, your pulse quickens when he anchors a hand to the armrest and leans in front you, only inches away from your face. “No, definitely,” you say once you have gotten over the shock of him being so close so suddenly, “I like it in the ponytail. You’d really impress the girls if you braided your hair yourself.” Reaching up to tuck hair back into the braid and press it down flat once more, you don’t miss the way his brows draw together and lips twitch down. “What?”
Time ceases to exist as Hyunjin begins to come closer. In reality, you know it simply is a matter of seconds, but all of space and time seems to still once he leans forward. It feels as if an eternity goes by, allowing you to count each individual eyelash, memorize the details of his skin, take note of the smoothed lines on his plump lips. The way time slows is cruel; it allows panic to set in, the realization that he most certainly is looming over you with his eyes on your lips sending a spark of excitement and anxiety through your veins.
And then, just as this realization and this panic has set your nerves aflame, a gentle hand comes to cradle your jaw before Hyunjin’s lips press against yours.
It is so easy to surrender to the taste and touch of him. Instantly, an eruption of emotions and thoughts spiraling out of control fills you, yet your brain focuses only on Hyunjin, Hyunjin, Hyunjin. This is not the first time you have kissed him, nor the first time simply having him so close, but the feeling that radiates from your heart outward is unlike anything you have felt before. This is uncalled for. This is not like two years ago. You were not expecting this.
Hyunjin sighs into the kiss when you lean up to loop your arms around his neck. No sooner have you done this, he breaks away to sit beside you once more, hands reaching for your waist and guiding you to sit over his lap.
You could kiss him all day, you think, palms lying flat by his collarbones before fisting the material of his shirt when his tongue prods at the seam of your lips. Blood seemingly coming to a boil and nerves sparking dangerously, you find yourself quickly sobering up as the minutes tick by, completely and utterly addicted to him and this feeling, this feeling you have craved but never crossed the line for. And now, it’s yours to keep.
Forgetting the braids, you seize the opportunity to rake your fingers through his hair. Different, than how you did earlier. Desperate. Combing it away from his face once, twice, swallowing his groans when you tug at the roots, you realize with a whine that his hands have left your face in favor of dragging down your sides, circling back to squeeze at your breasts, rubbing at your thighs and finally sliding back to your ass, situating you more comfortably on his thighs.
When Hyunjin finally breaks the kiss to journey elsewhere, littering chaste kisses across your jaw, below your ear, down your neck, the weight of your actions finally hits you. It is overwhelming, the way you come spiraling back to reality, and you are not sure if the quiet moan that leaves you is due to the press of something else against your thigh or simply the realization that you are making out with Hyunjin.
You have to stop before you get hurt again.
“Hyunjin,” you gasp, shuddering when his soft lips brush against your jaw, “wait. We need to talk.”
He pauses at this, fingers digging into your sides and you feel his frown against your neck. “What’s there to talk about?” He murmurs, arms sliding around you and tugging you closer, prompting you to wrap your arms around his neck and hug him close and pretend like his boner isn’t digging into you.
It’s your turn to frown. “About us,” whispering, you lift one hand to stroke through his hair, “we need to talk about us.”
“I thought my feelings were very clear,” Hyunjin scoffs, all tenderness in his voice gone. Instinctively, you lean back, blinking at him in surprise. “Unless this is just another one of your games? Does this not mean anything to you, YN? I don’t think I could stomach you running off to Changbin or fucking Chan again.”
His words pierce your heart before you have even fully processed them, hurt flashing across your features and your body goes numb. “What?” Is all you can manage, scrambling to get away from him, chest heaving and eyes suddenly burning with the brine of tears. “What are you talking about, Hyunjin?”
“You know exactly what I’m talking about!” He shouts. You flinch, not from the way he raises his voice, but from the genuine sadness in his eyes. “The past three years have been a constant battle with you. We’re best friends, for fucks sake, I figured out a long time ago that you have feelings for me. Feelings more than best friends. Yet every fucking time we started moving in the right direction, you turned your back on me.”
You can do nothing but stand there and let the tears fall. All the words and bottled emotions you wish to say are right there on the tip of your tongue, but you simply cannot bring yourself to voice them. Not when he’s right. Not when you have turned your back on him time and time again.
And then, he hisses more to himself than you, “Is this just sloppy seconds? You never once thought about my feelings in all of this?”
The anger brewing within you suddenly bursts from the dam and hisses through your body like deadly poison. “Sloppy seconds?” You snarl, fists clenching. “Who the fuck do you think you are? Your feelings? You just said you know how I feel about you, so why didn’t you ever do anything about it? How was I supposed to know you felt the same?”
“I thought it was pretty fucking obvious,” Hyunjin spits back, gaze narrowing, “didn’t think I had to spell out the fact that I like you, YN. You’re a smart girl.”
“Do not treat me like a child,” clenching your jaw, you have to look away for a moment, pacing one, two, three steps, hands raking through your hair and wiping away the stream of tears from your cheeks. You have never been filled with such rage. Having finally reached its boiling point, it now consumes you whole, sweeping off in waves and destroying all boundaries. “Confessing is not an easy thing, as you apparentlyknow, so don’t make me seem like the only idiot here. But maybe I was wrong about you if you think of me as just sloppy seconds.”
“I never said that!” Hyunjin barks, standing up to grasp your wrist when you turn away to grab your keys. “Don’t put words in my mouth! I would never, never think of you that way. I just don’t understand why you never spoke up after all this time. I’ve been dying, YN, you have no clue how badly I have been—”
“Oh, believe me, I know,” you snap, yanking your arm away from him, “I told you, Hyunjin. Telling someone you love them isn’t as easy as learning to ride a bike. You’re right, I have turned my back on you. But not intentionally. I’ve been scared, I’m a pussy, whatever.” Biting your top lip as if it will stop the tears that continue to fall freely, you avoid looking at him and glance back to find not only Seungmin, but Jisung and Changbin, too, peeking out from their doors with eyes blown wide with shock. Once you have noticed them, however, they panic and scramble to get out of sight.
Sighing shakily, you look back to Hyunjin and cannot ignore the way your heart sinks at the sight of him. Even upset, he is beautiful. You wonder how much you will see him after this.
“You don’t have to tell me you like me back to make me feel better, Hyunjin,” bouncing on your heels, you suddenly feel exhausted, body and soul heavy with the words you not only spoke, but heard, too. “We can figure this out another day, but for now, I need to go home. I’ll see you.”
Turning away once more, you do not make it very close to the front door before he stops you once more. “Wait, YN,” Hyunjin huffs, smiling softly when he reaches for your hand and you do not pull away. Running his tongue over his lip, he seems to hesitate for a moment, trying to gather his thoughts.
“Did you mean it when you said you love me?”

Your Love Means More (Tech x Reader)
Hello everybody, this is my first ever fic so I’m sorry if it’s not the best, and kinda corny. I was inspired when going through my own pains and wanting someone to take care of me. Hope you all enjoy. Feedback is welcome!
Also I wanted to say thank you to @just-some-girl-92  for giving me the confidence to finally write my own story and for always being there when I want to talk about The Clone Wars.
Warnings: Is having a period a warning? I guess blood is a warning so... PG-13? Also there is a sexual reference, but nothing explicit.
*Coruscant, night, your apartment*
You’re laying on your couch, clutching your stomach as another wave of cramps surges through your body. The room is completely dark, save for the glow of the holo you stopped trying to watch a few hours ago, the colorful pictures only creating a mild distraction from the pain you are going through. The hot water bottle that was across your stomach went cold a few hours ago, but you were too tired and in too much pain to get up and change it for what felt like the hundredth time that day. You sigh and close your eyes, trying to not let your disappointment get the better of you, but you don’t succeed.
Today was supposed to be a great day. Your boyfriend was coming home from a two month mission today and you had the whole week planned. Unfortunately your body had other ideas this morning when you woke up covered in a small pool of blood, which led you to the position you were currently in.
You squeezed your eyes shut again as another wave of pain shot through you. You were so focused on it that you didn’t notice your apartment door open, revealing your very concerned boyfriend.
ooo
Tech couldn’t sit still if his life depended on him. His knees bouncing with anticipation as The Bad Batch made their way back to Coruscant. Back to you.
It had been two long months for Tech, and he wanted nothing more than to see you and hold you in his arms.
Crosshair looked at his brother from across the room, his eyes had a far off look to them despite the fact he was working on a project in his hand. He knew exactly what he was thinking about. You.
The whole Bad Batch knew about you and Tech, not from a lack of trying, but Tech wouldn’t stop talking about how sweet and wonderful and kind you were. It was nauseating. After watching his poor brother take the same gadget apart for the fourth time he knew it was time to intervene.
“You’ve got to calm down Tech,” Crosshair said, “you this nervous around your girl?”
Tech was so focused on the piece in his had that he jumped at his brother’s sudden statement. He narrowed his eyes at him from across the room. “What do you mean?” Tech said, looking mildly confused now.
“Aw, leave the kid alone Cross,” Wrecker boomed from the next room, looking at his little brother with mischief in his eyes, “like you wouldn’t be daydreaming like that after not seeing your girl for two months,” Wrecker playfully punched his brothers arm, much to his displeasure.
“I wouldn’t be so obvious about it,” Crosshair stated rubbing his now sore arm. Crosshair and Wrecker started bantering each other, but Tech was barely listening to them. He was thinking about you, obviously, but something was itching in the back of his mind about this day, something he should have remembered, and it was bothering him that he couldn’t think of what it was.
He prided himself on knowing a lot of information for missions; research about the planet they were on, medical information incase of an emergency, cultures and customs of the people they might be interacting with. But he also prided himself in knowing a lot about you.
Over the year you had known each other he learned a lot about you, what your favorite movies were, your favorite snacks, your childhood, your favorite things to listen to when you were happy and sad, all this information he could pull out of his head at a moment’s notice, which is why he was so anxious to get to you now. He knew something was important about this day, but he just couldn’t put his finger on it.
He was more than relieved when the Havoc Marauder touched down on the landing platform. He waisted no time in exiting the ship and making his way to you, not bothering to listen to the calls of his brothers back on the ship.
ooo
Tech made his way through the wet and crowded streets of Coruscant, his mind thinking of you, but for a whole other reason now. You weren’t picking up your comm. Perhaps you were just busy at work? His mind tried to put him at ease, but he knew that wasn’t right. Today was your day off, so he knew you would be home in your apartment. Tech picked up his pace a bit more as he headed towards your building trying not to let the panic overwhelm him.
He loved visiting your apartment, it was so different from the harsh environments he was constantly introduced to during the war. The inside always smelled like freshly baked goods and the string lights you had hanging from your ceiling created a beautiful, warm glow that made your whole face light up. But the thing he loved the most, was no matter the time he got back from a mission, you would always be waiting up for him, embracing him in a warm hug as soon as he entered your apartment door.
So Tech was extremely confused and border line panic mode, when he opened the door and the whole apartment was cast in darkness. It was cold and silent except for a quite moan that he heard coming from the living room couch.
Immediately Tech’s training kicked in and he scanned the room looking for any signs of danger. The glow from the holo illuminated the room a bit and it’s light finally hit your curled up form on the couch. Tech’s breath hitched when he saw the look of pain on your face and didn’t waste any time in coming over and kneeling in front of you.
“(Y/n)?! Love? What’s wrong?” He put his hands on your face to try and see if you would respond to him, but your eyes just remained squeezed shut. You shook your head, your breathing a bit ragged.
He quickly scanned your body for any injuries but came up empty, which relieved him but he still couldn’t figure out why you were ---
Oh.
Tech’s eyes landed on the hot water bottle laying in your lap and everything suddenly clicked in to place.
Your mensural cycle.
That’s what he forgot. You were starting your period today.
His shoulder’s visible relaxed as relief suddenly flooded his system. He closed his eyes and leaned his forehead gently against yours trying to ground himself from his earlier panic. You weren’t in any danger. You were safe. You were ok. He kept chanting this in his head for a bit until he calmed down more, the hand on your face rubbing soothing circles on your cheek. Tech kept himself in this position for a bit until you finally opened your eyes.
ooo
You knew Tech was back home, but you couldn’t get up to greet him like you usually would. Which immediately made you feel guilty. He did so much for you and went through so much out there and you couldn’t get your stupid butt off the couch to greet him hello. Pathetic.
When Tech made his way over to you and pressed his forehead against yours in a keldabe kiss, that’s when you lost it.
You didn’t even realized you were crying until you felt Tech pull away and hold your face again with both hands. You opened your eyes and looked at your boyfriend through clouded vision, the concerned look in his eyes only made you cry harder, which naturally made Tech panic even more.
“My love, does it hurt that bad? Do you need more medicine? Food? I could reheat your water bottle? I can make you that chocolate drink if you’d li---”
“I’m so sorry,” you blubbered, cutting him off mid ramble, through your choked sobs. “I’m so sorry Tech, I had the whole week planned with stuff for us to do, I-I got us tickets to the new museum exhibit tonight, a-and I was going to make your favorite dinner and I was reading this book online and it gave me an idea, so I bought something new for us to try-- but I can’t now because I’m bleeding and it’s gross and I just wanted to do something nice for you, you’re always so sweet and you deserve to be happy and relax and-- and I can’t stop crying.”
You continued to sob, too embarrassed with your overdramatic outburst to look your boyfriend in the face. Were you aware you were crying for practically no reason? Yes. But your hormones wouldn’t let you see that.
Your heard Tech tut and his hands left your face and encircled your body and brought you closer to him, so your head could rest on the spot between his neck and shoulder. He continued to hold you there while you cried, his strong arms keeping a firm and secure hold onto you while his hands rubbed soothing circles on your back. He rocked you both slightly back and fourth not saying anything except for a calming, shhh, or a quite, I’ve got you, whenever your tears picked up again.
It wasn’t until you finally stopped crying that he finally spoke, “(Y/N), your love means more to me than any of those things. The fact that you went out of your way to try and make today special means a lot, even if you don’t feel well enough to do them, it’s the thought that counts. Besides you’ve seen me at my worst and taken care of me, I have no problem spending my time taking care of you.”
You sniffle some more before pulling away from him and wiping the tears from your face. The look on his face is not one of disappointment, which is what you’ve been dreaming of for the past few hours. No, he’s looking at you like you hold the answers to the universe. It’s so sweet you can’t help but give a small laugh, that sounds more like a hiccup.
“What did I do to deserve you?” you whisper, looking at him fondly.  You lean towards him again and press a tender kiss to his lips which he immediately reciprocates, giving a quiet hum of contentment.
You pull away after a while, his arms are still around you, but have switched to being stationed loosely around your waist, keeping you nice and close to him.
You look down at his shoulder and you fail at stifling a small laugh, “sorry I got you wet,” you say with a giggle.
He looks down at the water marks on his armor, the tears making a nice clean trail down his dusty body. Tech makes a sound of indifference and shrugs his shoulders, “it needed cleaning, you just got the process started a bit sooner than I originally intended.”
You laugh at that. His face is breaking into a smile now too, taking pride in the fact that he was the one that made you laugh again after feeling so down on yourself.
Tech never understood why you always put so much pressure on yourself, to him you were absolutely perfect. Any guy who would get upset over their girlfriend having a period was a karking idiot.
You bring your hand to his cheek and swipe your thumb underneath his eye, coaxing him to close his eyes and lean his head into your hand. Your eyes widen when you realize there is now a streak left behind where you thumb was. You put your hands on his shoulders and lean back some more, finally taking a proper look at your boyfriend. He was FILTHY! Tech’s armor was caked in various amounts of mud, dust and debris, you don’t know how you didn’t notice it sooner.
“Babe. Why are you so dirty? Did you fall in a mud pit?” You weren’t trying to make fun of him, honestly you weren’t, but you had never seen him come home looking like this.
He huffed and looked at you with slight annoyance, but you could tell it wasn’t directed at you. “For your information, I did not fall in a mud pit... Wrecker pushed me.”
You eyes widened considerably at that. This new information did not surprise you one bit, you tried not to laugh at him, not wanting to hurt his pride any more than the incident apparently already did. Instead you leaned forward again and pressed a sweet kiss to his nose. His face scrunched up at that, but afterwards all annoyance seemed to melt from his face and you were met with that lopsided and dopy grin of his that you had come to know and love.
“Why don’t you wash up in the fresher for a bit and relax?” you suggested.
His shoulders relaxed a bit at the mention of the fresher, you could see the tiredness seeping onto his face.
“Ok,” he says, taking your two hands in his and raising them to his lips for a quick kiss. “Do you need anything before I go in?”
You thought about that for a minute. The pain in your abdomen was still there, but it wasn’t as severe as it was before, in fact you were quite a bit hungry and your stomach chose that moment to make that known to your whole neighborhood. You blushed slightly looking down in embarrassment, but Tech just laughed.
“How about I refill your hot water bottle and order from that place you like down the street? Hum? You can pick out a holo for us to watch too if you want.” You smiled sweetly to him at that and pecked his lips again. “Only if you promise to cuddle with me on the couch.”
He grins at you again and presses a kiss to your forehead before standing up, “I would have it no other way.”
ooo
An hour later you were fed, dosed up on a concoction of pain medication from your boyfriend that you really had to write down for later, and half way thru your favorite holo. Finally, you were starting to feel like a human being again. Your boyfriend had cocooned you in various soft blankets before taking his place behind you on the couch and letting you use his shoulder as the world’s best pillow. Tech had his arms draped protectively around you securing you against his warm body, which was doing far more good for your cramps than your small hot water bottle did. You were in heaven.
You looked away from the holo and up at him after a few more moments of quiet, thinking he had finally fallen asleep, but you are met with a look of confusion written on his face.
“Babe? What’s wrong,” you question from your place on his shoulder.
Ever the thinker, he looks down at you after another pause and speaks softly, “Before, you said you got something new for us to try? What is it? A new recipe?”
Oh. My. Gosh.
Was he joking? He must be, this wasn’t the first time you had bought something new for you both to try in the bedroom. You thought he was messing with you until you looked up at him again and were met with only soft, innocence eyes shining through his large glasses. You couldn’t help but chuckle at him and press a loving kiss to his cheek.
“Well...” you say looking up at him thru hooded lashes. You leaned closer to him until your lips were reaching the shell of his ear, “It’s not a matter of something we could eat, as it is something we could put in our mouth.”
The choked noise and large blush overtaking his features had you laughing so hard your abdomen was now hurting for a whole other reason.

Chapter Six
Habitat Worksite – 11:25am
The rest of the morning goes by pretty smoothly much to my surprise. The group that I help Eddie orient is from a pub in the neighboring town. They’re so much nicer than the last scarring group I had to deal with, and they’re actually listening to my directions.
I’m pretty sure I have tears in my eyes as I supervise them cutting plywood like professionals – but that could just be the sawdust.
When I become confident that no one is going to injure themselves with the power saw, I recruit some other volunteers to help me transfer the cut wood inside.
As we walk into the house, I almost drop the plywood onto my foot. Jungkook is shirtless, mixing cement together. When had he even arrived? I stare unabashedly at him – The height. The build. The broad shoulders. The veined forearms. The ridged stomach. The tattoos…
Tay, the middle-aged mother of two helping me, follows my line of vision, “Oh my... please tell me you’re hitting that, darling.”
“Tay!” I hiss, my eyes darting around to see if anyone heard her. Sure enough, Jungkook is looking at us and smirking like he was just crowned king of the fucking universe. “I am not hitting anything, thank you very much.”
She makes a derisive noise, “I might be old, but I'm not blind. He’s looking at you like you’re the best thing since sliced bread.”
Jungkook hands off his mixing duties to Matt and saunters over to us, “Hey, noona. You look nice today. Do you need any help?”
“Not hitting that, my ass,” Tay mutters and shoots me a triumphant look as she walks back outside.
I roll my eyes at her antics and turn to Jungkook, “Hi, Kookie. What happened to your shirt?”
Jungkook blushes, “I may have taken it off, and then it may have fallen into the cement.”
My eyes wander around the room until they fall on a sad lump of fabric and semi-dried cement in the corner. My lips twitch.
“Noona-a,” Jungkook whines, “Don’t laugh!”
My body doubles over, shaking with laughter. Tears stream down my face as I try in vain to catch my breath.
“Is she okay?” I vaguely hear Hobi ask before I feel his hand run soothing circles on my back, “(y/n), are you crying?”
I straighten, wiping my tears, “H-he… cemen-nt… sh-shirt…” My cackles resume.
“She’s lost it, hasn’t she?” Yoongi enters the house with eyebrows raised, “It was only a matter of time. Jungkook has that effect on people.”
“Hyung!” Jungkook punches Yoongi in the arm.
"Am I wrong, Hobi?" Yoongi turns to the other boy, who's hand is still firmly on my back.
Hoseok shoots Yoongi a dirty look, "Don't drag me into this. The last time I tried to argue with the two of you I almost got a concussion."
Jungkook smirks, looking way too pleased to receive such an accusation, "I seem to recall you liking it, Hobi-hyung. What was it you were screaming?"
Yoongi snickers as he leans into Jungkook, effectively teaming up on poor Hobi, "I believe the phrase was 'harder, oh my god, harder!'" He and Jungkook collapse onto each other in fits of laughter as Hoseok turns an amusing shade of magenta.
I turn to face Hobi. "Is that how you like it?" I murmur, tilting my head to stare up at him, "You like it hard? Rough?"
Hobi swallows as his pupils dilate. His hand on my lower back suddenly clenches, crumpling my shirt within his fist. "Yes," his voice comes out deeper than I had ever heard it.
Vaguely, I notice the other two boys have stopped laughing. Good. No one would tease my sweet Hobi in front of me and get away with it.
My decision solidifies. "Well," I say, "Then that's how I'll give it to you."
"No one will be giving anything to anyone until we finish this project," Namjoon's voice booms, breaking up your little moment with Hoseok.
The four of you swing to face him, blinking owlishly.
Namjoon's eyes are shut as he pinches the bridge of his nose in frustration, "Jeon Jungkook, for the love of god, where is your shirt?"
Tumblr media
An hour later, I found myself stuck in the backseat of Jungkook's black Range Rover. After Hobi, Yoongi, and Jungkook had loudly voiced their opinion in front of the entire worksite that it was their turn to drive me, I had quickly jumped into the car to avoid further humiliation.
Now, I sat wedged in between Hobi and Yoongi who both refused to sit in the front next to Jungkook and also forbade me from doing so. I only agreed because I was not one to miss an opportunity to be pressed up between two hot guys. Sue me.
Glancing down at my thighs, I marvel at the way both of the boys have placed possessive hands on them. "This is so lame," Jungkook complains for the hundredth time as he glances at the three of us in the rearview mirror. "I want to touch noona, too!"
We ignore him.
Yoongi's slim fingers dig in slightly into the softness of my inner thigh, "(y/n)," his hushed words ghost over my neck, "Come home with us?"
"Please," Hobi echoes from my other side. His hand is more brazen in its placement. His pinky just a fraction away from the apex of my thighs.
Perhaps I could close my legs like the proper lady my grandma wanted me to be... but fuck that. I would woman-spread however I damn well please. "Hmm," I pretend to think about it, "No."
"But why?" Hobi pouts, making puppy-dog eyes in my direction, "You said you were going to give it to me."
I shrug, noncommittally, "I never said when."
Jungkook sighs from the driver's seat, "Ah, I love it when noona is evil."
"We fucking know, Jungkook," Yoongi groans, "You only bring it up a thousand times a day."
"Hey!" Jungkook whirls around in his seat, "Stop exposing me, hyung!"
"Eyes on the damn road, JK!" Hobi grips the 'oh shit' bar as the car begins to veer into the bike lane. Jungkook whips back around and quickly rights the car. Meanwhile, Yoongi smirks like the little shit starter he is.
"Looks like I'm not the only evil one here," I roll my eyes, "You're a menace, Min Yoongi."
"Yes, I am," the boy puffs up his chest and grins that gummy smile that he knows makes me melt, "But I'm your menace."
"Ah, gross!"
"Ew!"
Jungkook and Hobi yell as I try not to smile at Yoongi's rare display of cuteness and fail miserably.
"Stop trying to butter me up so that I'll come home with you, Yoongs," I smile and thread my fingers through his.
"Why?" He leans into me, "Is it working?"
"Not at all," I breathe, eyes darting to his lips as his tongue slips out to wet them.
"Liar," Yoongi moves in closer. My eyelids lower in anticipation.
Jungkook slams on the breaks and jolts the three of us forward, "We're here!" Grumbling, I pull my seatbelt away from its death grip on my body.
"Well played, Jungkook, well played," Yoongi comments from beside me.
"Tell that to my fucking neck," Hobi moans as he massages the front of his neck where his seatbelt must have dug in.
"Aw," I take pity on the poor boy and offer half-jokingly, "Want me to kiss it better?"
"YES!" Hobi's hand flies off his neck at the speed of light and thrusts his neck out in my direction.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, he is adorable.
I place the lightest of kisses against the growing pink mark on his skin and revel in the shudder his body emits.
"Bye, Hobi," I place one last kiss on him and slide out of the car, using the door that Yoongi vacated from.
"Bye, angel!" Hobi cries out after me, waving furiously. So damn adorable.
Once I exit the car fully, I am faced with a pouting Jungkook and an annoyed-looking Yoongi.
"What now?" I eye them warily.
Yoongi gives Jungkook a dark look, and the younger boy backs off slightly. Turning back to me, Yoongi steps forward. "Bye, (y/n)," he says lowly, brushing a fallen strand of hair behind my ear. A light dusting of pink floods his cheeks at his own soft actions. I bite the inside of my cheek to contain my innate reaction to shower him with affection.
That time would come later, I'm sure.
"Bye, Yoongi," I press my mouth his cheek, "Keep your menacing ways to a minimum while I'm not around, would you?"
"No promises," Yoongi drawls, before hopping back into the car.
And just like that I'm left with one tall bashful boy.
"Oh, Jungkook..." I walk towards where he is propped up against the front of his car. His lean body slouches against the hood as his left leg props itself up on front tire. He still has yet to put another shirt on.
"I'm sorry, noona," he speaks to the pavement in the tiniest voice, "I got jealous that I wasn't getting to be that close to you."
I lift his chin up with my finger, "Baby, you were the only one who had my nipples in your mouth last night, and you're jealous of them?"
He swallows hard before grinning, "Well, when you put it like that..."
"Yeah, that's what I thought," I give into the urge to trace the muscles of his stomach. They bunch up under my touch and I smile at his responsiveness. "You know," I continue, "You're going to have to get over this jealousy thing if I do decide to date you all."
"I know, noona," the pout returns, and this time it's paired with a devastating pair of imploring doe eyes. "I just like you. A lot.”
"Well," I smile, "It's a good thing that I also happen to like you. A lot."
"Really?" Jungkook's neck snaps up at an alarming rate, "You do?"
"Yes, you giant idiot," I grip the back of his neck, "Now, kiss me goodbye."
He kisses me. His teeth pull at my bottom lip in a faint bite, and goosebumps spread across my body. I bite him harder in retaliation, but it only seems to urge him closer against me, body hard, warming me everywhere we connect. His fingertips drag down my skin until they reach my waist. His hands slide up under my shirt, and he rests his palms against my skin, fingers splayed down over my hips.
His hold is undeniably possessive. And that would not do.
I lean up and kiss him harder, digging my nails into his back as I tug him against me, feeling every inch of his body respond to my touch. A groan rumbles deep from within his chest.
“Do you think they’re going to come up for air soon?” An amused voice cuts through our make-out session.
Jungkook rips his mouth from mine, “Fuck off, Hobi.”
I open my eyes and blink a couple times before focusing on the smirking faces of Hobi and Yoongi. Their heads are sticking out of the open back window of the Range Rover as they cackle in amusement.
"Hobi," I say sweetly, "Do you need another mark on your neck today?" My hand flexes tauntingly in his direction.
Hoseok's eyes widen, "N-no! Bye again, (y/n)!" He retreats back into the car as Yoongi continues to chuckle before rolling up the window once more.
"You can mark my neck, (y/n)-noona."  Jungkook's voice jolts me from my second thoughts on not going home with them.
This boy really is shameless, I think to myself as I shake my head.
"Maybe next time, Kook," I grin at him, "It'll give you something to look forward to."
"For as long as there are next times with you, noona, I will look forward to them."
My heart swells. "You're such a sweetheart, baby boy." The nickname has its desired effect as Jungkook's cheeks blush and his smile widens.
"I'm baby," he nods.
"Yes, you dork, you are," I place a swift peck to his cheek and head into my apartment before I get any more tempted to jump back in his car and initiate a foursome.
God, what were these boys doing to me?
Tumblr media
(Y/n) & Luna’s Apartment – 4:15pm
A few hours later, I am deep in an argument with Luna over who the best Queer Eye guy is when my phone buzzes.
[Unsaved Number] 2 New Messages
Luna notices my confusion. "Who is it?" she asks, leaning over to look at my screen.
"No fucking clue," I reply, swiping open the messages.
[Unsaved Number] 4:15pm: “Hey, babe! It's me! Namjoon!” 4:15pm: “Want to meet at Hannigan's tonight? Just the two of us!?”
"What the everliving fuck?" My eyebrows rise at the completely obvious way that someone was poorly attempting to impersonate Namjoon.
"That's how Namjoon texts?" Luna sits back, "What a letdown."
"I don't think this is even Namjoon," I mutter and save the contact before swiping over to SnapChat. "Let's see if I have this person's Snap."
"Oh, your mind!" Luna exclaims, running to go grab a bag of pretzels from our tiny kitchen adjacent to our also tiny living room, "That is some top sleuthing right there."
"Why thank you, my good sir," I nod at her playfully before focusing back on my screen. Opening the 'Add Friends' tab, my eyes immediately hone in on the imposter.
"Oh, that little shit," I cry, chucking my phone onto the other end of the couch.
"What? Who is it?" Pretzel crumbs spew out of Luna's mouth as she ambles over to where I had just thrown my phone. She picks it up, turns it over, and lets out a long whistle. "Oh, fuck. What are you going to do?"
Luna hands my phone back to me, and I reopen the messages to respond.
Me 4:21pm: "Hi, Namjoon. I'll meet you there." 4:21pm: "9pm."
It'S mE! nAmJoOn! 4:22pm: “Yay! It's a date!” 4:22pm: “See you at 9!!!”
"Well," I lock my phone and set it down on the coffee table, "It looks I’ll finally get the chance to teach Kim Taehyung a lesson."
Luna springs up from the couch, "I'm calling Jenni. Let's do this."
Tumblr media
Hannigan’s - 9:09pm
I'm nervous with anticipation.
Why?
Oh, that’s right – motherfucking Kim Taehyung thought he could pull one over me by impersonating Namjoon, and, so far, he's nowhere to be found.
I grasp my beer tightly as I slouch lower on my barstool. Since arriving about twenty minutes ago, I had set up camp in the corner of the bar. Luna and Jenni had immediately ditched me upon arrival, claiming that they were meeting friends.
I would have believed them if I hadn’t noticed that they just relocated to a table within vision of me and were scouring the room for any signs of Taehyung. I pull out my phone and once again debate texting him.
Fuck it. I'm just about to construct a text when my phone pings with messages from the group chat:
Bee Gang 9:10pm, Luna: “HE'S HERE” 9:10pm, Jenni: “HE LOOKS SOOOO GOOD KSKSKS” 9:11pm, Luna: “HOLY SHIT I THINK HE JUST SAW YOU” 9:11pm, Jenni: “TAEHYUNG IS LOOKING AT YOU LIKE YOU'RE THE HOTTEST THING HE'S EVER SEEN. HE'S GONNA FUCK YOUR SHIT UP I’D BET GOOD MONEY!!!” 9:11pm, Luna: “NAH DUDE *SHE* IS GONNA FUCK UP *HIS* SHIT” 9:12pm, Jenni: “OMG U RIGHT” 9:12pm, (y/n): “1) YOU BOTH SUCK AT HIDING, 2) NO ONE IS FUCKING ANYONE UP, 3) MAYBE THE SECOND THING IS A LIE”
I lock my phone and place it face down on the bar.
Looking up to see where Taehyung is, I immediately lock eyes on him. He's slowly making his way towards me with people constantly pausing him to chat. Taehyung’s all smiles, but I can tell he is a bit annoyed. That strikes me as odd – I thought he loved the attention?
The boy emerges free from the crowd, and I finally get to take him in.
Damn, he does look so good. His tight white t-shirt emphasizes his toned stomach while his overlying black leather jacket makes his shoulders look a mile wide. My gaze drops lower and take in his black pants with a black belt cinching the waist. I have to fight the urge to grab it and use it to pull him into me.
He’s almost to me when he turns his gaze to the bartender and flicks up two fingers. And just like that two beers and an annoying but hot-as-sin man appear in front of me.
“You don't look surprised to see me,” he says as his greeting, sliding me one of the new beers. He shoots a look at the group of boys occupying the stools next to me and they immediately make themselves scarce.
I arch an eyebrow, “You do realize I had all of your SnapChats to double check the number with, right?”
"God-fucking-damn," Taehyung plops down in the barstool next to mine, "No wonder it was so easy to convince Joon to let me do this." He shakes his head and glances up at me beneath his blue fringe, “You still came? Even though you knew it was me?”
I roll my eyes at his cute actions, "Yes, I figured you had something important to say if you went through all that to get me here."
He blinks, clearly still caught off guard that I wasn't surprised to see him. "I do," His voice cracks and he flushes deliciously, "I mean, yes, I have something to say."
"Okay," I nod and sip from my beer, "So, tell me."
His fingers fiddle with the label on his beer bottle as he begins, "I know I'm not your favorite person... I'm loud. I'm bratty. I know that. But I just have to know if you felt anything that night last semester; because, I did, and I can't stop thinking about it. I know that you probably haven't. It's been killing me to see you with everyone else that I love, and I just need to know if there's a chance you might want to be with me like that, too, and-"
I clamp a hand over his mouth. His eyes snap to mine.
"Baby," I sigh, "Is this what's been making you act out?"
Taehyung's head bobs as he nods swiftly.
"Now, that just won't do," I murmur, my mind whirring as I think of all the times I had thought he wanted to annoy me when all he really wanted was my attention.
"Listen," I continue, pulling my hand from his mouth, "I don't know where you got those ideas stuck in your head from, but they're wrong. I do think about that night last semester. All the fucking time, Tae. And, yes, you're loud, and you have a tendency to be a brat... But, it only makes me more interested."
Taehyung's eyes burn into mine as I lean closer, "It only makes me want to teach you some discipline."
I watch as Taehyung’s knuckles go white as he clenches his beer. Concerned that the glass might shatter in his grip and hurt him, I slowly place my hand over his, “Relax, baby.”
"You can't just say things like that, noona!" Taehyung moans, shifting in his seat.
"And why not?" I tease as he takes a long sip of his beer with his head tilted back and his throat muscles moving in a way that made me want to do bad things.
I blink, "You know what? Forget it. Let's just start over, okay?"
Taehyung bites his lip, “Okay, sure.” He gestures to the bartender for another round, “Let’s play a game.”
My response is automatic. “Alright, Jigsaw. What kind of game?”
“Just a nice harmless game of ‘Never Have I Ever’, (y/n). Nothing untoward, I promise.”
My eyes narrow at his way-too-innocent smile and his archaic use of ‘untoward’. “Fine,” I arch an eyebrow, “But I have a few stipulations.”
“I would be disappointed if you didn’t, noona,” he scoots his stool closer to me, “Lay ‘em on me.”
Oh, I will, my inner hoe responds.
Out loud, I reply, “The game can be stopped at any time, and you have to explain your answers if the other person asks.”
“Done,” he grins, “Never have I ever gotten my nipples pierced.”
“That’s targeting!” I exclaim indignantly, “You’ve seen them, you prick.”
“I haven't tasted them. At least, not yet,” his eyes squint at my boobs which are currently well-covered by a jean jacket. “Jungkook has… That fucker,” he mumbles under his breath.
These boys and their jealousy... I shake my head. How had they managed to stay in a relationship with all of this possessiveness they clearly had going on? It's truly a mystery.
"My turn," I grin, "Never have I ever dyed my hair blue."
"This is really more of a teal-ish green, noona!" Taehyung tries to argue, and I scoff.
"Fine," he relents and mumbles under his breath, "Should have brought my paint swatches." After taking a sip of his drink, he switches gears, “Never have I ever wanted to date a frat boy?”
I sip my drink. He immediately demands clarification. I grin, “Those EXO boys are fine.”
His jaw clenches. Ooh, he does not like that answer.
“EXO?” he snarls, "Over my dead body."
My eyebrow quirks up, “Well, that's a bit dramatic. They seem like nice boys.”
"Nice boys?" Taehyung cocks his head, "Noona, those aren't your type."
He's right. I push him further, “And what is my type then, Tae?”
“Boys that challenge you.”
He’s right again, but I’d rather not give him the satisfaction of knowing it. His ego is already inflated enough. I smile inwardly and say, “You think you have me all figured out, Kim.”
Taehyung surprises me as he breaks into a loud laugh, “No, not even close. But I’m a persistent boy so maybe I’ll get there one day.”
Just then I realize how close to one another we’ve gotten. Our sides are touching, and his hand has apparently been gripping my thigh for who knows how long. I stare at it, examining the adorning rings on his pointer and index fingers.
Are those fucking Gucci?
He must notice my gaze on his hand because he squeezes my thigh, and I smily at him. “I wouldn’t hold your breath.”
Taehyung looks at me like I’m something precious, something divine. I want to shatter that image. I want to ruin it. I want to ruin him.
“Taehyung?”
“Yes, noona?”
“Kiss me.” And he does.
Taehyung kisses me over and over. I’m honestly a bit overwhelmed it. His mouth is tender on mine, and with every exhale, he lets out the slightest moan, which almost seems like a plea for more.
He’s gentler than I remember. His mouth is warm and soft; his caresses are leisurely and unhurried.
I pull back slightly to look him in his eyes. They are dazed, unfocused.
My lips brush his ear as I whisper, “Be a good boy and meet me in the bathroom in two minutes.”
With that, I saunter away towards the back bathroom which usually tends to be cleaner due to its slightly hidden nature.
Knocking on the door, I strain my ears for any sign of a reply. Nothing. I enter the dim room and immediately catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror.
My hair is everywhere, and I immediately grab the hair-tie around my wrist.
I pause, a sinful idea coming to mind.
A knock sounds. “Noona?” A deep voice calls, and I open the door, grab Tae by the collar, and tug him inside.
“Noona, you’re feisty tonight I-” I cut him off with my mouth.
I don’t hesitate as my mouth consumes his and my body presses him against the wall. My tongue finds his as my hips grind into him. He whimpers, and it’s such a beautiful sound.
After feeling him throb through his clothes, the thought I had earlier returns.
Stepping back, I grab my hair-tie and tug my hair up into a ponytail. Taehyung whines as I slowly sink to my knees before him, “Jesus, fuck.”
“Is this okay?” I question, gazing up at the beautiful boy above me, “Do you want my mouth, baby?”
“Shit, yeah,” Taehyung wraps my ponytail in his hand and lightly pulls me closer.
Does he think he’s suddenly in charge?
I flick open his belt before tugging his pants down. His cock strains against his silky black boxers and I give into the temptation to suck on it through the fabric.
“F-fuck, please, noona,” the stuttered curse comes from above, and I smile.
I pull his boxers down, grasping his cock and stroking lightly.
And, without warning, I take the head of his cock in my mouth and suck. “Goddamn,” Tae hisses, fingers sliding into my hair. He pulls my hair-tie out and replaces its hold with his fist.
I take him as far as I can, blowing him and stroking the parts of his cock I can’t get to with my mouth.
“Shit, fuck, please,” he begs, looking down at me with wild eyes and a fucked out expression, “Don’t stop, (y/n).”
Stop? Never. The power trip is too delicious.
My mouth bobs on his cock as he bucks, trying to fuck my mouth. My hands grab his ass to control his movements as I slide my mouth off of him.
“Do you want to come in my mouth, baby?” I tilt my head to the side as one of my hands resumes its ministrations.
“Y-yes,” The boy gasps above me, his breath coming in pants, “Please, I’m so close, noona.”
“Hmm, are you going to be my good boy, Taehyung-ie?” My hand halts, and he whines, his hips straining to keep moving in my hand. I squeeze him, “Well?”
“Yes!” He moans, repeating, “I’m your good boy. I’m noona’s good boy.”
“That’s what I thought.” My mouth closes around his cock again and sucks him hard.
“Fuck.” I watch enraptured as Taehyung’s head falls back against the wall, and then he’s coming.
His body convulses above me as I swallow ever last bit of him. After he finishes, I pull my mouth away to kiss the underside of his cock, his balls, the insides of his thighs. Above me, he’s muttering my name like a prayer.
“You can let go of my hair now, Tae,” I laugh, my voice slightly hoarse. Reaching up, I lightly tug his hold from me and slide my discarded hair-tie off of his wrist. Standing, I pull my hair up into a messy bun and turn to face him.
He’s tugging his pants up and staring at me with a darkening expression, his nostrils flared. “Let me taste you, noona. Ride my face.” The tenor of his voice washes over me, tempting me with its rough words.
“You haven’t earned that yet.” I start towards the door, but Taehyung darts in front of it, effectively cutting me off.
“I just want to please you, babe. Come on,” his begging only solidifies my resolve.
“You already have pleased me, Tae,” I swipe a thumb across his cheek as he pouts.
“But I could please you even more with my mouth!”
This boy. I grab his neck lightly, “Listen, baby, I’m going to say this once. When I ride your face, you’ll be tied up across my bed at my mercy. Got it?”
His body becomes pliant under my words and my light grip. I gently shift him out of the way of the exit. “Now, I’m sure I’ll be seeing you soon, my good boy.”
The parting smile I send him is absolutely lethal, and it only grows bigger when I hear him blurt out a grumbled “holy fuck” as I strut away from him.

What Happened To You?
Pairing: Kirishima x reader
Genre: angst with fluff :)
Word count: ...
Synopsis: You were a very positive girl, but when you have one of the hardest weeks ever and break down, who will be there to comfort you?
——————————————————————————
This week was so great, perfect justttttt perfect. <— that was sarcasm, it was most definitely not perfect. :(
Y/n was a very positive girl, not only for others but also herself, if she was struggling she would focus on the good. She would constantly go to bed and try to clear her mind, de-stress and not talk to others about negative stuff because she knew it would bring her down and make others worry. She would wake up everyday with the idea that no matter how busy she was, she could make the day great.
This week was no different, but as you know, time carries on, stress builds, it can wear a person down. Exams were coming up, y/n’s family had been really busy and although y/n loved her family she just couldn’t talk to them right now. All of her clothes looked weird these days, thank goodness UA had a uniform. Her classmates seemed so cheerful, she didn’t want to ruin that, so she carried on.
She would run everyday, it became a routine and it helped her cool off, today was just like other days. She tied her shoe laces, pulled up her hair, stretched a bit, and got on her way. She usually went the same route and she knew her way well.
She was running when she lost her footing. Ouch, what the heckkk, that never happens. She had twisted her ankle, she could tell, not from the pain but from the grossly worrying ✨crunch✨ she winced, couldn’t even feel the pain yet but she had fallen too. As she tumbled down the hill the earphones in her ears were ripped out, covering her head she came to a stop.
A large sigh escaped her mouth. ‘It’s alright, it’s okay’ is what she said to herself, she got up and it was very apparent that the adrenaline rushing through her body was basically gone now because her ankle hurt like hell. ‘It’s alright, it’s okay’ she mumbles to herself. She can walk, she can. It just ~really really hurts~ and she can push through.
She’s almost up the hill when she remembers her earphones weren’t with her. Another sigh. She turns and waddles down the hill again. ‘It’s okay, you can get you music going, make it back, get a hot shower, and then sweatpants. :) sweatpants.’ and that became her motivation.
She bends over, grunting loudly, much like a hippo, and gets her earphones, she’s plugging them in as she makes her way up the hill and starts her music.
?? Starts her music. ?? ‘What the hell?’ Pressing the volume button, she turns it up. Pauses and unpauses the music, checks her data, even wastes one of her precious skips on her free Spotify plan 😩 The next song was her favorite-most recent add. She unplugs her earbuds and presses play, the music loudly booms out.
‘It’s alright, it’s okay my earbuds are broken it’s cool it’s not like their expensive’ and she carries on. Tosses them in a public trash bun and makes her way back to the dorms. Smiling and waving at people on the street and ❤️boy does her foot hurt❤️ She’s just back at the building when she sees Momo.
“Hey y/n!! How was your run?” She smiles at you and you smile back.
“It was good, how are you?” Momo says she’s well and they go their separate ways. A very tiny part of y/n is sad that Momo didn’t notice the pain she was in, but then again, it’s not like she gave any evidence of the ache in her ankle. This was her fault.
She opened her dorm room door and closes it up. She sighs and takes off her shoes, her socks are sweaty and gross as she removes them (🥵) she had missed dinner and she groans in disappointment. Hopping in the shower she stretches her back.
Update: the water never got hot enough and she had run out of conditioner.
‘It’s okay some people don’t even use conditioner, it’s fine...’ she thinks, but her hair already felt uncomfortable. The idea of her favorite soft sweatpants she bought from the men’s section is all she wants right now, and luckily for her she had cleaned them that morning. Her ankle is crying at that point and for some reason her shins and thighs really hurt. Maybe she can text and ask Jirou to get them for her :D
“Heyy Jirou 👋🏻”
“What’s up?”
“Your dorms right by the washing machines 🥺 I was wondering if you could get my sweatpants from the farthest right machine, their pretty big and dark blue.”
“Oh y/n, the machines broke, the water pipes burst this morning 😯 I can’t believe you didn’t know, all the clothes were soaked”
“What? oh my gosh :( well it’s okay, how are you?”
It wasn’t okay, things were getting progressively harder for y/n to be positive and now she can’t even be comfy while she stresses out about exams. Y/n spent another hour and a half going over school stuff while icing her ankle. And she’s embarrassed to say she went through a few toilet paper squares whipping away her angry tears, her tissue box empty as it was also allergy season.
She went to bed stressed and sad. But she still went to bed with ‘it’s alright, it’s okay, tomorrow is a new day, I can do this’ her eyes closed and luckily got some shut eye.
She did not wake up from her alarm, nor the sun, nor a villain attack, no, it was the 🙂throbbing pain🙂 in her ankle. But heyyy it’s alright just choke down a few ibuprofen, probably some acetaminophen since she finished off her ibuprofen last night and God knows she doesn’t have the extra $$$ to buy name brand meds right now.
And dangggg did her legs hurt, she shimmies up her skirt and tucks her shirt in, she’s looking in the mirror as she ties her shoes when she notices her bruises, ya know the purple and yellow globs of skin all along her knees. Great.
It was hard to keep a positive mindset that day. She was really struggling to keep it up. And it wasn’t hard for others to tell. She smiles as she takes her seat in class, Ochaco immediately notices her bruises.
“Y/N WHAT HAPPENED?!” She wails, y/n shakes out a laugh sorta sound and shrugs,
“I don’t know, like they just come outta nowhere, it’s so weird, I probably got them on my run or in training.” She smiles at Ochako.
“Y/nnnnn” she wines, “you gotta be more carful!” And then she turns around to respond to iida calling her.
Y/n sighs, you were tired, unmotivated to even focus on the lesson, your normal happy vibe wasn’t there anymore and you were definitely not the only one who could tell.
Kirishima was a really observant guy, he knew from past tests how worked up you got over you’re studies but this didn’t seem like the same stress. You looked overworked and tired, not to mention the bruises, ᵂʰʸ ʷᵉʳᵉⁿ’ᵗ ʸᵒᵘ ᵗᵃᵏᶦⁿᵍ ᶜᵃʳᵉ ᵒᶠ ʸᵒᵘʳˢᵉˡᶠˀ :(
He spent most of the lesson focused on you, the frown on your face made his stomach hurt.
“Hey y/n! :D” Kirishima dances over to you.
Your face immediately brightens up, “Hey Kiri, how are you?”
“I’m doing well, I just wanted to check up with you.” He has a kind of concerned look on his face, a cute eye smile but his eyebrows furrow together.
Y/n pauses, but then smiles, “D’awe Kiri that’s so sweet, I’m doing well, thank you for asking”
Kirishima isn’t dumb, yeah he’s not the smartest book-wise, but he’s really good at reading people.
“Oh, okay, just making sure.” He’s disappointed and a little sad you didn’t confide in him. He rubs your shoulder and gives one last smile.
As he leaves your hand traces over the phantom chill of his lingering touch. For some reason his concern brings a tinge of tears to your eyes. ‘Geez get over yourself y/n’
In other news, your ankle was doing terribly 😁.
——————————————————————————
There’s a certain line for you, a certain line that if crossed you just can’t help but break down. At this point you were close, but not in the danger zone. You shoulda known better than to spent the night studying again.
You wake up feeling terribly rested but what did you expect? There was a noise at the window and you thought you were imagining it at first but it continued. The blinds screech open and you make a mental note to try to never provoke that noise this early ever again. But all thoughts leave you at the sight of a baby bird.
Laying on your window ledge is a baby bird, probably not a week old, there was nearly no fuzz on the innocent creature, definitely no wings yet.
Y/n is kicked into action. The baby was hurt, barely moving. Y/n’s tentative hands scoop the lil guy and he’s cold, shivering, and still as loud as ever, a strangled noise comes from y/n. She did not care if she was gonna be late, this bird was gonna die.
And this is the part I hate the most because there’s nothing, nothing she coulda done, nothing. And she just watches as the little bird wiggles slowly and then just stops. Her mind is as silent as ever and her lips are sealed, her eyes water and she doesn’t know what she’s supposed to do, just let it sit there? Does she bury it?
As tears roll of her cheeks she sets the little bird in an empty shoe box, she sets the box on the window sill and then she leaves.she leaves as if nothing just happened. She’s still taking it on okay? That was literally he most sporadic thing she’s ever done, there was no plan, no thought in that event, she just watched a creature die. ‘It was just a bird, it’s alright, its okay y/n’
But tears are still rolling off her cheeks and she knows it’s not just about the bird, it was about everything, not talking to her family, her friends, stress over school, her bad days piling up, it just crashed. She hid herself in the bathroom and washed her face with the sink water. There were no towels so she had to dry it off with tissue paper that stuck to her face. Her tears never stopped, though her eyes clenched painfully, and her hands kept rubbing and she kept taking those deep breaths it seemed that nothing helped and then she sniffled and then a choked squeak left her. Her eyes kept watering and her head ached. Her legs ached. Her bandages foot ached. Her heart ached. She cried loudly, she can’t remember the last time she cried audibly, but she’s gasping and wailing.
At some point she picks up her feet and splashes her face again, this time drying it with the bottom of her tucked shirt. Her eyes are red and swollen but if she walks into class with her hair and head down nobody would notice.
People noticed. She was late, Aizawa scolded her and she cleared her throat before apologizing. Nobody could tell yet as she took her seat. Froppy pokes her back from her desk,
“What happened, ribbit?”
Y/n clears her throat loudly and coughs a bit, she leans back and tilts her head, “I just slept in.” Her voice does ~not~ sound like her. And everyone can tell. Bakugou is staring and from the back of the room kirishima watches carefully again.
By the end of class y/n’s head is down and covered by her arms, her eyes are closed-the light only worsening her headache.
The girls whisper about her, nothing malicious, just about their worries, she wasn’t herself, y/n was a morning person, never late, never. She always greeted the class and today she sounded so distressed.
“Hey y/n, lets head to lunch, todays lesson was so boring I was just thinking about how hungry I was all lesson.” Ochacohad a smile on her face as she looked down at your sunken form, your head still on the table.
“Nah, Ochaco, I’m not too hungry today.” You mumble.
“You okay y/n? you seem kinda down.” She squats down to try to look at you.
You clear your throat and take a deep breath to fix your voice, “yeah I’m just tired is all no worries, you lift your head up and smile at her. Her face only grows more concerned at your swollen eyes. “O-oh okay, hang in there y/n we’re here for you.”
She walks sideways to share glances at the other girls and also look at you. They leave to the cafeteria and you scold yourself for worrying them. Everyone else is gone, you sigh and tug on your hair.
The noisy drag of rubber on stone fills the room and you flinch up, full attention. A chair drags it’s way in front of your desk, a mop of vibrant red hair clears your view. Oh. Well... that’s a thing.
“Hey.” He says
“Hey.” You say, trying to sound little congested as possible, but your nose is just so clogged and your throat is a bit scratchy. “We’re you not too hungry? You should still get something, I have somthing in my bag if you want- oh well maybe I don’t but I have some cash for a vending machine.” You spew out, he doesn’t respond.
He just looks at you, and he feels the guilt he felt yesterday once again, he should pressed kn more, her shoulda made sure you really were okay, he could tell you were upset yesterday but he shrugged it off and now you were pretending to not care and offer him snack money.
You had obviously been crying, why? It had to have been this morning, what happened, were you stressed again? He doubts you would’ve cried about sleeping in, so what was going on, why didn’t you confide in him? Did he make you uncomfortable?
“Y/n.”
“Yeah? What’s up?” You quickly answer, trying to clear the air and make it as little awkward as possible.
“What happened?” His eyes hone in on yours, his deep rooted compassion always shines through his eyes. “What’s wrong?” He asks quieter.
You would be lying if you said this didn’t make you want to cry again. “Ahh yeah I’m just so tired these days, but it’s really-“
“Nah” he breaks you off, “nah that’s not it, I’ve seen you tired, we’re classmates y/n, this isn’t like you.”
It stresses you out even more to have to talk about this and years are vèrÿ ćłôšē to spilling out. Nevertheless you mumble out, “what do you mean? It’s me, Kiri.” The pained smile you wear hurts him physically.
“No, no, y/n I can tell. What happened to you? Why are you so... sad?” He weighs his words, questions wether or not he should be saying anything at all. “You would light up a room, what happened? What made you like this?”
And bam. Wow kirishima, thanks, you have officially made y/n cry, do you feel good about yourself?
Tears slip over your cheeks and he doesn’t look up until they hit the desk. He pulls his legs together and suddenly is on his feet, “oh, oh no!!! Y/n I’m sorry, what’s wrong, hey, hey it’s okay.” Officially freaking out®
He dashes over to the back of the room to grab some tissues while he violably hits his head, ‘why did you say that??? What’s wrong with you? You made a girl cry!’ He internally yells at himself.
“Here.” He hands you some tissues and awkwardly rubs your back. “I’m sorry. I never meant to make you... upset.” His feet fiddle and his knee bobs on up and down with the pitter patter of his shoes.
“No, I’m sorry, I never meant to worry anyone, I want to go back to normal, this-“ you swallow, choking on air, “this week just, just sucks.”
“Hey.” He bends his knees and balances on the balls of his feet. At your eye level, he yanks your chair towards him, pulling you in so you’re facing him. “No, don’t apologize, I want it.”
What. The. Fwak. Is you saying kirishima?
“I want you to worry me, I mean I don’t enjoy worrying about you but I want you to be comfortable with me, and tell me when your stressed or bothered by something, or when you’re excited about something or when your sad about something, it’s not a burden you know? I want it, I want you to be close to me.” ̶L̶a̶y̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶c̶k̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶n̶’̶t̶ ̶w̶e̶
You just stare at each other, his eyes are dead serious, he doesn’t break eye contact for a second.
“Y/n?”
You look at him again, not having found your voice quite yet you simply nod.
“There is no pretending in friendship, in any relationship, y/n. We have to be honest with each other, you need to- to let others care about you, ya know? The girls were really worried, we all were, so when you feel like this you gotta tell us. Okay? Can you do that for me?”
And for the first time that week, it really was alright, it really was okay, and just like always, tomorrow was another day, and even though today wasn’t the best y/n now realized the incredible importance of her friendships, the increasing admiration for Kirishima and the growing hope for today’s tomorrow.

(Unedited) I’m not the most happy with this, I wrote it so quick because my original writing of this was deleted suddenly and I had to rewrite it and I didn’t want to forget anything, anyway, I’ll make it better in the future, hope you enjoyed it, even just a little.

Shadow work vs Self Reflection
Occultism and spirituality are taking the world by storm. You can’t go on any social platform today without seeing it mentioned, referenced, whether seriously or lightly. Like most things that gain popularity, words start to lose meaning and the true definitions become lost. That’s what inspired me to write this post today to the empty void of Tumblr.
The term shadow work is very rarely understood, but it’s a favorite to use because of the imagery it triggers. It sounds dark, mysterious, complex, and social media Occult Practitioners gain their notoriety by capturing their audience with that appeal. In fact the allure of that practice title probably played a big part in pulling anyone that’s reading this post, in.
So without further ado, let’s get to the the differences! We’ll start with the easiest and  most common first:
Self Reflection
This is what most people on the planet do. When we look back on a situation we aren’t particularly proud of, and think “What could I have done different?”. When we reflect we’ll feel harsh emotions that we’ll want to run from. Shame, sadness, embarrassment, and our thoughts take us to “I can’t do that again!”
To put it simply, self reflection is a review of your actions. In this situation, you are the Cause, and you created an Effect you don’t like. This is healthy and something everyone should do daily. It’s a form of mindfulness, a baby step to being fully aware and accountable for your Vibration, i.e. your Effect.
Simple enough, right? So let’s move on to what people commonly THINK self reflection is.
Shadow Work
Shadow work could be explained simply as “self reflection” but it is so much more than that. It’s a deep investigation to how and why you respond to Effects. It’s deeper than thinking of a previous scenario you don’t like, because that still only shows you the situation from your conscious/earthly perspective, and that’s not the point of shadow work. Our shadow selves are the ugly things our family and society told us were undesirable.
As a result we tucked these things deep within ourselves and suppressed them. This starts from birth. We watch our caregivers and look for ways to get a positive response. Tucking these pieces of us away causes us to react to Effects in ways some people might be confused with.
I’ll use a personal example:
I use to get irrationally angry anytime I heard Amy Winehouse or anyone mentioned her. She invoked hot, liquid rage within me. This person I never even met, got that strongly of an emotional response from me. I dealt with this for years, to the point I shrugged at my friends that were sobbing over her passing. It wasn’t until shadow work that I discovered why. To do this, I pretended she was there with me. I did two sided conversation myself.
As me, I asked her why she did what she did. Why did she glorify addiction and drugs? Why did she mock rehab and make it trendy to refuse help? I had to go deep within my subconscious in order to give myself answers. Which, was me answering myself as her.
This is where shadow work can be dangerous. You can lose yourself. You can go too deep. The point is, is to become the other person so you can get a sort of closure on your pain to their Vibration, to whatever their Effect triggers in you. You can only do that by opening yourself to their experiences, their perspective, and ultimately their Vibration, taking it as your own.
Then, when you’ve asked all you needed of them, it’s their turn to ask you.
“Why do you care what I sing about?” Amy asked.
“Because it’s dangerous.” I answered.
“That’s a lie. You fear danger, you don’t get angry. Why do you care what I sing about?” She pushed harder.
“Because it’s wrong!”
“Why is it wrong? What makes what I’m doing as a grown adult, sooooo wrong?”
“Because we couldn’t do it! We couldn’t sing that song, we couldn’t keep partying. My mom told me I was disgusting, I was a loser addict slut like my dad and said my friends were trash and I couldn’t see them! We’re disgusting, my friend is dead, and you’re cool FOR BEING JUST LIKE US.”
Boom. Just like that, I understood years of suppressed emotion. Self reflecting never would have gotten me to that level of understanding. Self reflecting made me run from what the answer was because I was embarrassed by how I felt. And there was no real action, or Cause, to examine. We had never met each other, we were strangers. Self reflection only took me to the repulsion I felt, and that repulsion was given to me by my family and society. Addicts are viewed poorly all across society and I felt my issue with Amy Winehouse was me being on the right side of society. Having the ‘right” view. I was no longer addicted to and popping pills, so I was right and how I felt was right.
This was just one small example of how Shadow Work has taught me about myself, and given me control of my response to an Effect.
Earlier I said, self reflection is examining your Cause in a Cause and Effect situation, reviewing your actions. So that would make Shadow Work a review of your reactions, even when they’re unprompted. Such as my reaction to Amy Winehouse. She did nothing TO me. My reaction was related to my family telling me a trait I was exhibiting was gross and needed to hidden.
So in a way, Shadow work is the ultimate self reflection. It tests how you process information, and how you change and react to that information.
To be clear you can do shadow work on ANYONE that elicits any strong  negative emotion. In future posts I’ll go through various shadow techniques to give advice to beginner, but currently I really wanted to get the differences explained so people can better use them to serve in their life.

He left X Reader X Damien Haas
So after a long time of staring at an empty page I have finally wrote something again. This request: Hey! I don’t know if you’re taking requests, but if your are then could I request an imagine where reader and Damien Haas break up and they’re sad and stuff, so the rest of the smosh fam try to get them back together, please? @lula132
I’m so sorry it too so long.. but here is one of two ideas I had. I can post the other when I finish it. I finally got over my writer block.
You were lying face first on the sofa yet again. In the background you could hear some anime show playing but you had no energy to move and actually watch it. Swimming in your own thoughts the sound of your front door opening made you jump.
"Jesus Christ!" Courtney's voice boomed across your open plan living room.
You lifted you head revealing two wet patches from your tears. "Hey." You sniffled.
"Awhh buddy." She pushed your gross tissues off the sofa with a pen and sat down next to you. "How you feeling?" She wrapped an arm around you and pulled you in for a cuddle.
"Erm.. I'm gonna be honest, not so great." You sniffled again "I feel like my heart got shit on."
"I don't understand man.. None of us do." She squeezed you tighter.
"He just left.. No reason, no sorry, just gone."
"He's in Japan at the moment."
"I know, I saw his instagram." You snuggled closer into her "Maybe he met someone over there the last time he went. That's literally the only thing I could think of."
"I never thought he would ever do that to you man... Did he leave any of his things here?"
"A few hoodies, some games, not much." You pulled on the jumper you were wearing "I swear this one stills smells like him."
"No offence dude, but you straight up smell like beer and Cheetos."
You half smiled at her "You're an asshole."
"But Ian said you were coming back in tomorrow."
"Yeah, I am. I can't stay away forever."
"Okay then, " She pulled away from the cuddle "Lets sort your stinky ass out. Get a shower, clean up this place, get you outside, fresh and ready for tomorrow."
"Christ." You sighed as you stood up "I guess I have to."
--
The beeping of Courtney's car snapped you out of you day dream, almost spilling your coffee. You picked up your work bag, placed your mug in the sink and headed out. She sat in the car smiling and waving like a mad man as you locked the door.
She wound the window down and music blasted out. She sung at the top of her voice, while you prayed none of your neighbors were watching you.
"Hey!"
"Oh jesus!" The creepy old lady that lived next door popped up from behind her fence scaring the life out of you. "Good morning Mrs Kersh."
"Nice to see you out of your pajamas, not crying."
"Thanks!... You nosey old bitch." The last part was under your breath.
You jumped in the car, "Who the hell is that?" Courtney tried looking around you at the old lady.
"One of the noseyest old bags I've ever met." You slapped your knees "Anyway, lets do this.. I'm ready to go back to my shared office, that I share with the man you broke my heart."
"No!" Courtney shouted at you "You got 3 days before he's back from Japan. None of this sad shit. We are all coming together to cheer you up."
"Fine." You smiled at her.
--
The first thing you saw as you pulled into the parking lot was Shayne’s smiling face. You jumped out the car and he ran to you squeezing you as tight as he could.  "Oh" he spoke into your jumper "I wanted to come see you.. but I didn't want to upset you."
"It's okay man. I understand, he's your best friend." You squeezed him a little tighter till you both let go.
Walking into the office everyone was smiling at you but in such a weird way. You walked to the ballpit and sat at your desk. You were faced with a photo of you and him just smiling your dumb faces off. "Ugh jesus." You put your head on your desk.
"Hey." Noah's sweet little voice came from behind you "I made you a coffee."
"Oh thanks.. That’s super sweet."
"How are you?"
You smiled "I'm fine man.. yanno its a break up. Yeah he broke my heart but I'm not dying. Everyone is just looking at me super weird."
"Yeahhh, they just don't want to upset you. It's a difficult situation."
"I'm just going to get my head down today, got so many emails and scripts to look at at."
"Good, if you need anything." He gently patted you on the back.
"Thanks Noah." You smiled as he walked over to his desk. You put your head phones in and focused on your computer.
Only a few minutes had passed and you were trying to ignore the commotion going off behind you. Usually it was just Shayne doing something stupid. But then again you could do with cheering up a bit. You took your head phones out and spun in your office chair. Looking across the office everyone was stood in a group. That's when your heart fell out of your ass. He was stood there smiling as though nothing had happened. Your mouth was dry and you felt cemented to your chair. 'I gotta get out of here.' You thought to yourself. As you stood you felt as though the whole room had shrunk and everyone was looking at you. It wasn't true, you grabbed your mug and ran to the kitchen as fast as your could.
While the coffee machine did it's thing you stood with your hands on the counter, just staring at nothing. Your heart was pounding out your chest when someone in the door way made you jump "I'm making coffee!" You almost screamed it.
"Okay dude.." Luckily it was Courtney.
"Sorry, I'm just freaking out..." You looked at her "Like bad."
She ran over to you and hugged you  "Awhh, I didn't know he was going to be back today. I'm sorry."
"Its okay." You hugged her back. "Do you reckon I could sneak out the window?"
"This is your work as much as it is his." She put both her hands on your arms holding you in place "Now, get out there, flip that hair and show you are a strong woman!"
"Sir yes sir.." You mocked her. She kicked you as you left the room. You ran back into the kitchen.
"What! Do I need to walk out there with you?"
"No, I forgot my coffee." Taking the mug you left again. You took a deep breath and held your head high. Making no eye contact with anyone you sat at your desk.
"Hey."
"Jesus.. I swear like 5 people have made me jump today." You turned to the person on the desk next to you and your smile dropped.
"You look nice." Damien tried to smile at you.
You took a breath to gather some courage "What are you doing?"
"Y/N I'm sorry but.."
You cut him off "You don't get to say anything, look I don't want to argue or even talk about this while we're surrounded by all our friends and colleges. But I know we have to talk so.." You looked around "I know Smosh games is empty because Mari said she won't be back for a few days."
"Okay, I'll go put my lunch in the fridge and I'll meet you there."
--
You had been waiting for around 10 minutes and you were getting more and more wound up. Going over all the things you wanted to say to him. The door opened and the look on hias face just stopped all that anger instantly.
You groaned "This is so much harder than I thought it was going to be."
"What?" He sat in his gaming chair.
You sat in yours that was of course right next to his. "Well, we had this whole life together. A house, cats, we wear each others clothes, we work basically on each others knee everyday, we even have the same friends." You sighed "How can we possibly live normally with out being together? And I know we did it before but..."
"Y/N" He cut you off this time "Stop talking... Just for a second and breathe." He took both of your hands in his, you wanted to pull away but your heart was aching for him "I know I messed up really bad but I still love you."
"How can you say that?" A tear fell down your left cheek "You left me alone in our house, went to another country with out even a good bye. No explanation, nothing." You sniffled and looked at him dead in the eye "You broke my heart Damien."
"I am so so sorry." His voice was low "I panicked and I wish I could change what I did. I know how much I hurt you and it hurts me knowing I was the person to make you feel like this. But I pray deep down that one day you can forgive me for leaving you."
"What do you mean you panicked? Damien... We've been together for 4 years. Nothing new was going off."
"The day before I left I bought this." He reached into the front pocket pf his bag and passed you a small box.
"What the flying fuck is this?" You opened it and was faced with a beautiful engagement ring. "Are you serious?"
"Look.." He sounded panicked "I don't want to to answer but I bought this then I freaked out and I just fucked up big time. I don't even know if we're actually together right now but just hold onto it and I stay in our spare room for now."
"Okay.." You put the ring on your pocket "I suppose I'll think about it." You walked over to the door and pulled the handle down but the door was locked "What the hell?" You pulled on the door a bit to no avail.
"Sorry guys!" Courtney's voice came from the other side of the door "You're not coming out till you sort this out."
"You were made for each other so fix it!" Shayne screamed at you.
You turned and smiled and Damien "Fuck."
