Honestly half the time the "watch something more complicated than cartoons" crowd don't even understand cartoons. When kids' shows are a bit much for you, you don't really get to be sniffy about what people prefer to watch while they eat takeout
Steven Universe did not show an empire being defeated with the power of friendship & empathy and its fascist leaders being accepted as family. It ended with an unstable biological(?) power structure being battled violently & its core constructs conclusively disproven, all its leaders removed from power and replaced, and them spending the rest of their days in basically servitude fixing what they did while being shunned by Steven. And SU Future wasn't about depression being offensively cured with hugs, it was about a teenager under massive responsibility and trauma feeling like he was losing his support network and becoming magically and mentally unstable, and ended with acceptance and him finally stepping away from his roles & heritage to find himself.
Half of the people still mad at Steven Universe can't even place its core themes and blatant messages. You didn't watch the show, you were too busy reblogging dipshit fascism accusations against its Jewish creator and drawing the lesbians in watercolours
#steven universe#it's going in tbe tags i don't care#i'm just mad about the shitty temu item from earlier#hidinginprivate on youtube is doing an amazing series called the point of steven universe. watch it.#then you can get back to being better than others because you also half-watched and didn't parse citizen kane#a phone holder that doesn't fit phones that are in cases are you KIDDING me#it covers the headphone jack are you serious!#(snooty voice) the writer of suc.cession clearly hates lesbians and wants fascists to succeed#yes the phone holder folds to fit in your pocket. yes of course it tips over due to its folding design necessitating it be long and narrow!#(shrek meme) they don't even get steven universe. tmagp 22 ep thoughts. again putting these down for myself but you guys get to read it too haha
spoilers under the cut!
Lena definitely cares for Gwen. It's pretty obvious that she's doing this to forcefully keep her safe. I think her assessment is also like..pretty fair from her pov since Gwen really is not doing great with the horrors (love u gwen you're doing your best with a scary dangerous situation) and she'd really just get herself hurt further.
Gwen could grow and get rlly good at surviving still ofc (you need Experience for that after all) but Lena wants the excuse to not have her be IN that position anymore.
The statement itself was really interesting, and I'm thinking that dark ocean of secret knowledge is an interesting visual (side note, while i dont think the Deep is supposed to be knowledge related... it's reminiscent in my head for some reason and made me think of it. probably the imagery tho) and possible nice comparison to Jon's "it's like there's a door in my mind" ocean of Eye Knowledge tm. Just interesting.
I do wonder who wanted out of a) the guys head or b) the wires/the equipment. Is it a general entity Of wires technology current etc that we have tamed with the advent of electricity? Is it the consciousness of the guy, or even the subconscious? Is it other people who have been ushanka'd and thus can be across anything electric, like an amalgamation of souls? The silver in the wires is obviously important as well as the split consciousness, but...
I know the obvious narrative that, im my opinion, freddie is trying to paint is that they (jmj, supposedly) need out and they're using the transcript to speak that fact. As they have been, in theory, using the casements to speak to tbe team from the start. But in the actual situation, mr. Schmidt's case still resulted in those words, so who?
Side note, I still don't think JMJ are actually in the puters. I think Freddie is puppeting their voices still. But then again... there is some consciousness there. Sam did get an email from Jon. And then you have to wonder, when does a puppet mimicking consciousness actually gain it, if so?
I think they might be taking us on a very interesting route about identity and such. The "some of him" from episode one seems to hint at, well, at least some of jmj still being in there if it isn't only a red herring. On the other hand... I still don't think Jonny and Alex lied to us that their fate stays ambiguous either? It'd make no sense to.
I also don't think Celia knows what's going on fully. I think she is tma Celia but the reason she brings up their names is _She_ might think they're in there regardless of it being the case, because she recognizes their voices immediately.
But maybe I will be proven wrong in a few weeks and it was never a red herring after all, and what Jonny and Alex meant is that it could he a different universe version jmart and jonah.
Who knows! We have the multiverse fully established.
Also Alice and Sam's argument :( The beloveds are fighting. I guess it makes sense why they didn't work out. I wonder what Alice was supposedly controlling about before, and what truly happened. I can't wait until we know.
That's my thoughts, though. If anyone does have a good theory about who was wanting out innthe casement put it below??? I scour the tags but they're exploding right now ahahaha.
Can't wait til next week. Thanks for reading!

Answering/commenting on some of the tags under the cut!
@schniggles
voted for you to follow your truth because it seems to lead you exclusively to winners, however i am ethically obligated to say that if you have more fox & leia friendship anywhere in the works i’d burn a candle to st. francis de sales this very instant
I told a friend ages ago that I would write the Fox & Leia Double date story (mortifying ordeal of Bly thinking he has something in common with you want wants to bond) and it's still on the to-do list!
There's been an idea simmering in the back of my mind for forever of the third part of the Roleswap series, which would be about twelve year old Leia and Luke going on a Let's Discover Our Father tween adventure. Fox would absolutely be living by himself in the woods, fishing and chopping wood, living his absolute best life, and would NOT appreciate two spoiled royalty tweens bothering him. That's what you mean by Fox & Leia friendship, right? Right?
@crandairyy
tbh your sw chip au holds a special place in my heart that i reread regularly, but any option you go for seems golden
Similarly I seriously, seriously want to rewrite More Than Zero. My concept of Cody has REALLY developed and I never got to explore a lot of what I wanted to explore in that story. Not sure exactly what the point would be, but it's bothering me and that's usually 80% of why I write anything.
This is also seriously the reason why I don't put stuff like this up on AO3. A bad story on Tumblr is something to rewrite. A bad story up on AO3 bothers me FOREVER. It's like a pebble in my shoe. It's about quality control.
@celtarican2
#well if you want ideas in tags I’ll give you ideas in tags#I always thought a fic where Cass was tbe first sidekick would be cool#kinda like new wave#but also not#if that makes sense
That's so fun to think about. What incredible "Hey Alfred remember when I used to bring home raccoons from the street. This isn't the same I promise. OK it's a little the same." energy. I'm imagining hardcore Battinson who's been Batman for like five minutes and he just finds a ninja teenager in a gutter, completely panics because you can't really put a non-language super assassin in foster care, decides that she's the greatest thing since sliced bread (most low matinence child ever, doesn't try to interact with him and subject him to the mortifying ordeal of social interaction) and just like me fr (doesn't talk, ninja). Emo-Goth Autistic 29yo's dream. He doesn't so much adopt her as decide they should hang out in his house and be best friends. They're best friends. It's the Gothest buddy cop show ever now. This is how Cass gets SUPER into Nirvana.
@sibuyanensis
#i've always kinda hoped you'd write something about your namesake#my bestie my dear childhood friend yellow pokespe
WELL I HAVE SOME STUFF ON MY DROPBOX FROM WHEN I WAS TWELVE YOU WANT THAT?
Holy shit ha ha, stealth Meg lore: PokeSpe is my favorite manga ever. I can't begin to describe the serotonin it gives me. It's so important to me. For absolutely no reason beyond the fact that it fucks. Yellow's my childhood friend too. Really early gender goals. My mother's moving house and found my giant collection and I got so emotional about it lol.
I think the answer to that is: not anytime soon, but if I did then it would be the most emotional and tender thing I would ever write. It would fuck immensely.
Poll of Literary Indecision
OKAY SO
I'll be done posting New Wave soon-ish. But I have a problem, which is that I'm wrapping up a new Batman fic that's distressingly long. I was planning on posting the Moon Knight fic after New Wave, but I'm kind of riding a Batman train right now, so I'm not sure and I was thinking of posting that one instead and post MK later.
I thought I'd ask you guys? Both of these fics are basically done, although the Batman one needs some heavy edits.
I'm also serious about the looking at requests thing, I get unbelievably annoying if I'm not working on a current project and I need ideas. I'm also very easily egged on.

"What were you doing, right there?" with her right hand, Amelia pointed to the spot where Jackson had been previously passing you information about the patient you were supposed to watch over during the night.
"What? What was I doing?" Jackson frowned, confused by her sudden approach.
"You were eye fucking (Y/N)" Amelia said, crossing her arms over her chest, paying no mind to the fact that they were in the middle of the hallway and whomever passed around could hear their conversation. Typical of your older sister.
"No, I wasn't" Jackson shook his head negatively, but by the way his bright eyes looked away for a brief of a second and he cleaned his throat, your sister noticed she was more than right.
"I knew it! You like (Y/N), don't you?" she frowned at him, waiting for the response that came when he nodded his head with a sight. "Well, aren't you going to say anything about it?"
"What can I say? (Y/N)'s in intern and I'm an attending, that's..." he stopped when Amelia suddenly slapped him in the arm. "What was that for?"
"You have to say something to (Y/N), not to me!" Amelia explained, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. She saw the hesitation on the plastic surgeon's face and sighted. "Look, buddy, it doesn't matter that (Y/N)'s an intern. You know that this hospital has seen worst when it comes to relationships. And besides, who cares? Enjoy life while you can"
Jackson smiled at the other doctor, happy with the advice. Honestly, he hadn't known what to do for the past weeks were you had been all around, in tbe hospital and in his thoughts. His smile faded away when Amelia slapped him again. "Hey, why?"
"If you hurt (Y/N), you'll have to face me" Amelia put on her best threatening face and then, walked away.

The Road So Far (pt. 1)
Sweet Pea x reader
Summary: Y/n Winchester and her two older brothers go to the small town of Riverdale for a case. Y/n must enroll into Riverdale High to help the case, and meets one Sweet Pea on tbe way.
Riverdale + Supernatural crossover
Requested by: @sgarrett49
Author Note: So Tumblr cut me off from writing any more on this text, so it's going to be stretched out into a mini series.
Chapter 2
Word Count: 3402
"I just don't get why I have to go to school to hunt a werewolf."
Dean closed the trunk of the car. "Because, we heard from some of the people here that the teenagers basically run this town."
"Really?" You said. "Ugh, it's like we got a case inside of some crappy new age TV show." Sam laughed and Dean nodded. You all went inside of a motel next to some trailer homes.
The next day you took your stuff and went to school. Apparently a school got closed down due to some hazardous stuff, so there was only one in the town.
When you got to school, there was a small crowd of teens waiting for you. "Excuse me, are you Y/n Winchester?" You nodded. "Okay then. Hi, I'm Veronica Lodge, and welcome to Riverdale High."
"Lodge, as in Lodge Industries?" You asked. Her smiled faded a bit, then came back just as quickly.
"Yes, but whatever daddykins does with his business, I am not associated with."
You smiled and compressed your laughter. "Daddykins, huh?" She nodded. "That's a new one."
She let out a small laugh. "Well, this is Archie, my boyfriend."
He waved. Then another one spoke up. "I'm Betty, I'm one of the people who run the blue and gold newspaper. This is Jughead, he also runs the blue and gold."
"You guys solved some murders right?" Maybe they could help you with the case. The two of them nodded.
Then Jughead spoke up. "This is Fangs and Sweet Pea." They both nodded.
You look at Sweet Pea's tattoo. "What's that mean?" You put two fingers to your neck pulse, indicating the tattoo.
"It's a symbol for the Southside Serpents." Her said, looking down at you.
"That a gang?" You asked as a joke. When he nodded, you responded with, "Wait really?"
A person bursted through the doors. "Ignore the hoodlums. Don't pay any attention to the raggamuffins, they're only important in their greasy, Southside bar. Hi I'm Cheryl blossom. Maybe if you lose the flannel and band shirts I could consider you to be a River Vixen."
"So you're captain of the cheerleaders?" You asked, amused.
"Yup." She said, smug. "I basically run this school."
You bursted out laughing. "Okay, let me get this straight. There's turfs, gangs, murders, and, no offence Ronnie, a mobster in this town?" They all agreed. "And yet, for some reason, cheerleaders and football players are still important? And the head bitch in charge is a ginger?"
You had began to laugh again. "Aw, this is a bad new aged TV show, isn't it?" Jughead snorted.
"You you have a problem with my hair color?" She looked pissed.
"Of course not, gingy #2, I think gingy #1 seems like a nice guy. Look, minus Carrie White over here, you all seem like pretty cool people, but unfortunately I won't have the pleasure of getting to know you. My brothers and I will probably be gone in a week or two. So where do I go to get my schedule?"
"Um, I have it right here." Veronica said. You were going to grab it, but she took it away. "But, we have been asked by principal Weatherbee to make you feel at home."
"No, you and Betty were and you two dragged us into it." Jughead said.
"Well, either way, I want to become friends with you, even if you will only bless us with your presence for a short amount of time."
You looked at her, amused. "Okay then."
She beamed her smile. "Alright, well you have a class with each one of us, and also four classes with Sweet Pea, so we will be with you for the whole day."
Sweet Pea had been watching the entertainment you had been giving this whole time. Who was this girl? One of the first people who didn't care about the social status in Riverdale.
The bell rang. "Alrighty then. You ready Sweets?" You asked. He was taken aback by the nickname. You did the same with Veronica earlier. Was that just a thing you did?
"Uh, yeah, let's go."
As you walked down the hallways, you see signed about some Red Circle group. You grabbed one off the wall. "The Red Circle? What is that?"
"The bulldogs made a group to terrorize the Southside. Trying to clean up the streets and protect their people."
"Really?" You giggled, confusing him. "What kind of piss poor excuse is that? They want to pretend that their in a gang so they can sound cooler than just being a group of sex deprived football players."
He laughed. He was so intrueged by you. You said what was on your mind, and your logic was that of an outside perspective. You were funny and adorable, and came with an I don't give a fuck attitude.
You walked into class together. The teacher told you to sit next to Sweet Pea, who sat in the far back, since you seemed to get along with him. As you walked to your seat, a guy said, "Careful sweetheart. I wouldn't get too close with the snake boy. He's not like us."
You stopped, looking at the letterman jacket he wore. You then held up the red circle sign. "You in this?"
"You know it. The name's Reggie Mantle."
"Wow!" You said in a fake overly happy voice. "You know, when I first walked through those doors I thought you were a douchebag, but I was totally wrong. You're a wanna be ghetto ass douchebag!"
You crumpled up the paper and threw it at him, continuing to walk. Everybody gasped and Sweet Pea smiled excitedly, nodding in his seat.
You silently laughed at him. "Woah."
"What?" Sweet Pea asked, still smiling.
"You look adorable when you're happy." You turned back to the front, missing the smile slide off his face as he stared at you.
As classes went by, you both enjoyed each other's company. Turns out that in every class Sweet Pea is in the back because the teachers fear him. You liked being in the back of the class with him though.
When it came to lunch Veronica practically dragged you to their table. This was your chance to get some information. "So," you said, looking towards Betty and Jughead. "I heard there's been murders of people and animals recently. Do you know anything about it?" They all looked at you, confused. "I'm just really into that stuff."
"Well you'll fit right in here." Veronica joked.
"Not much, but people have been saying things about werewolves." Betty said. "Ethel said that they had a pack at Fox Forest. We were gonna check it out tonight. Do you wanna come?"
"I'd love to." You genuinely smile. If you were to ever stay at one place, it would probably be this one.
Betty smiled. "Okay. This'll be fun."
"Gee gang, sounds like the start of a new mystery." You said without much thought.
"Did you just quote Scooby Doo?" Jughead asked.
"Yes?"
"I think this is the beginning of a new relationship." He said as he munched on his food.
When you got to PE Sweet Pea heard girls talking about you. They were talking about how you had scars covered up, and laughing about how they were ugly on you. He was about to go and tell them off, but was stopped by you calling out for him. "Hey, Sweets!"
"Yeah?"
"We're supposed to partner up, and I think you're the only one who could be close to keeping up with me." You playfully put your hands on your hips.
"We'll see about that, won't we sweetheart?" He gave a smirk.
"Sweetheart, huh? My brother calls his one night stands sweetheart." You counter.
"Don't worry Winchester, you're worth more than that to me." Your cocky smile faded and was replaced with a small, genuine smile with some red on your cheeks. "What's wrong? Not used to the praise?" He slyly said.
"Not at all." You said truthfully. He faltered a bit, but you just brushed your embarrassment off. "C'mon, let's just start the stuff."
Sweet Pea learned just how in shape you were. No matter what exercise was being done, you seemed to excell in it. It was a hassle trying to keep up with you, but he did.
PE was your last period, so the two of you were seen talking together right after school. It seemed that everybody saw, because the five others who greeted you in the morning, except Cheryl, went to go talk to the two of you. It was a rare thing, to see Sweet Pea even give a second glance to someone who isn't a Southsider. But here he was, happy as can be right next to you.
"Hey guys." Betty said. You waved.
"Well well well," Veronica said. "It seems that the new girl in town has found herself a man, and no other than the toughest guy in Riverdale." She was smiling slyly.
They have never seen Sweet Pea so happy, at least not at Riverdale High. Nobody had even seen him look at any girl except Toni, who was one of the guys to him. So having someone crack a smile on his face was a sight to see, and they all automatically wanted the two of you to be together. After all, you made him smile.
Betty then had an idea spring up in her head. "Sweet Pea," he turned his attention towards her, his face unintentionally being a little more colder. "You should come with the three of us tonight to Fox Forest. We're working on the deaths of those people and animals."
Sweet Pea thought about it for a bit, but looking at your waiting face made him not need to think about it at all. "Sure. You guys will need protection, so it's smart if I tag along."
Your face perked up into a smile. Just then a 1967 black Chevy Impala pulled up to the front of the school, classic rock being heard from inside. Two men stepped out and were both leaning on the side of the car. You were guessing that they wanted to look tough to show people not to mess with you.
"Nice ride." Sweet Pea muttered.
"Thanks." You said, everybody turning to you.
"Oh my God, who are those beautiful men standing over there?" Veronica asked. "Especially the one on the left." She said, staring at them.
"That would be Dean. The other one with the long hair is Sam. Those are my brothers." Everyone was in awe of how badass the two looked.
"Well now, some new blood hotties have rolled into town." You all turned your heads to see Cheryl enjoying the view as well. "Who would have known that they were related to a greasy little raggamuffin like you."
"Okay, let's not check out my brothers guys, this is weird and gross for me."
You look at Sweet Pea, who seems to be in a trance as well. "Really? You too?"
He laughed. "No, it's not that. I'm looking at the car." You laughed back. "Don't worry y/n, you're the only Winchester I like to look at." You giggled.
Dean spotted you laughing with some guy. "What the hell?"
"What's wrong?" Sam asked.
"Look at that kid, getting a little too chummy with y/n. I'm gonna have a little talk with him."
"You don't know if he's doing anything bad, they could just be talking Dean."
"The kid has a neck tattoo. He's a douche." They watched as you nudged him, smiling and talking. Sam cleared his throat, not knowing how to defend you anymore.
"Oh hell no." He angrily went over to the group of teenagers, ignoring Sam's calls. Everybody brought their attention to the eldest Winchester walking up. "Hey there." He said to Sweet Pea with a smile. "Wanna tell me why you're standing so close to my sister?"
"Dean." You said, standing in between the both of them, although not making a difference from you being a lot tinier than the two. "Don't."
"We were just talking sir." Sweet Pea said, sweating bullets. He stood up straight and his voice was clear, but he was more nervous than anything.
"Oh, you were just talking. Well to me it seemed like flirting, and if you think I'm gonna let-"
Suddenly a hand clasped hard on Dean's shoulder. "Okay, that's enough. Sorry you all had to see that." He smiled at everyone, making the females melt.
Dean took a few steps back before pointing to Sweet Pea and saying, "We have guns."
"Dean!" Sam said in a sturdy voice.
"Are you satisfied big bro?"
"Get in the car." He said in a strained voice. You mouthed the word sorry to Sweet Pea, then looked at Betty and Jughead, nodding. They nodded back.
When you got to the motel, you were on your way to the bathroom. "Imma go take a shower."
Dean grabbed your arm and plopped you on one of the beds. "Oh no, you're not." You innocently smiled at him, making him even more annoyed. "What the hell were you doing with that kid?"
You looked at him, dead face. "Talking."
"Talking my ass! I saw you two, way too close for friendliness. I don't want you around that guy anymore."
You huffed, kicking off your shoes and getting comfortable. "Why not?"
"Because that kid is bad news. He has a neck tattoo of a double headed snake, I mean, that says it all." He smiled, although unamused.
"It's just a tattoo! I have one too." You were referring to the anti possession tattoo just below your collarbone, which was the same place your brothers had theirs.
"That's different."
"Sam, help me out here."
Sam sighed. "I don't know y/n, you guys were standing pretty close."
"Ha!" Dean said.
"But you really could have only been talking."
"See?! Thank you Sammy. You know what, whatever. I'm gonna head to that 50's themed diner. Want anything?"
"Burgers."
"Just a salad. Thanks."
You nodded and opened the door. "Don't forget the pie!" Dean called out as you shut the door.
You huffed as you went into a diner called Pop's, heading to the front. You didn't notice the four people with leather jackets. You smiled as an old man with the name tag of Pop came. "Do you have pie?"
"Cherry's our best slice." He smiled.
You smiled back. "Perfect. I'll have that, two combo #1's, and a Caesar salad to go please."
"Sure thing. What kind of milkshakes?"
"Milkshakes?"
"Of course, everyone who comes here gets a milkshake. They're the best you'll ever have."
You shrugged, still smiling. There was something that you liked about him. He was just so peaceful. "Surprise me." He nodded and headed to the back. You sat at the counter, waiting for your food.
Meanwhile, Sweet Pea ducked his head when you walked up to the counter. "What's with you?" Toni asked.
"He's into the new girl over there." Jughead said.
"Until her brothers came and scared the crap out of him." Fangs teased.
Sweet Pea flushed from both embarrassment and anger. "No they didn't, I was just showing them respect."
"Then go up to her and ask her out." Fangs said all too casually.
As his three friends stared him down with their evil grins, he awkwardly stood. He knew he couldn't get out of this. He walked over to you, sitting next to you. "Hey."
You swiveled your seat in his direction. "Hey. Sorry about my brothers. Dean likes to get overprotective sometimes, especially when it's with guys that have tattoos on his neck." You have him a teasing smile.
"It's fine." He chuckled out, rubbing where his tattoo was.
"We still on for tonight?" You cocked your head as you waited for his answer, which he found adorable.
"Yeah, I have to be there in case you get yourself in trouble Winchester."
"My hero, but how do I know you won't leave me hanging with Jug and Bets?" There it was again, the nicknames.
"I'm not that kind of guy." He put a hand over his heart jokingly.
"Then why are your friends staring at me?" You squinted your eyes a bit at him.
He put his hand on the back of his neck and rubbed it nervously. "They, uh, wanted me to ask you out." You raised your eyebrows at him in an unimpressed manner. "But, I know that you deserve more than some date from a dare. The date will come, but it will take more time. And I don't care if you'll be leaving soon, I'll drive out to wherever you are and pick you up, and we'll have a good date."
You giggled. He suddenly felt hot, having watched him just pour out his soul. He probably seemed like an idiot right now. "That might have been the sweetest thing anyone has ever told me." You nodded. "Okay, you've got yourself a date. Full warning though, never been on a date. So if I'm weird I'm sorry. But on the bright side, you won't have to top anything from my experience."
He put up his hands to his eye level in victory. "I hit the jackpot."
"Just one thing," you put up your index finger. "You didn't answer my question. How do I know you aren't lying and leave me waiting for you?"
He took off his skull ring and put it on your middle finger. "I have to get my ring back from you." He saw you looking back behind him, then at you. "They're still watching aren't they?"
"Yup." You then leaned to him in your seat and gave him a hug. "Don't worry, I'll put on a show for them." You whispered in his ear, turning your head to kiss his cheek.
"Sorry to interrupt you two love birds up," Pop said, with a bag and a cup holder with three drinks in hand. "But your order's ready. The pie is on the top, and I labeled the flavors of milkshakes on the cups."
You leaned away from Sweet Pea. "Bless your beautiful heart Pop." You reached for your wallet, but Sweet Pea smacked some money down before you could get your own money out. You gave him a side smile. "Ever the gentleman."
"Does that surprise you?" He looked you up and down.
You grabbed your dinner, hopping off your chair. "I bet it would surprise most in this town."
He ignores your comment, and instead focuses on your situation. "Do you need a ride?"
"Um, on your bike?" He nodded, to which you responded by raising the items in your hand. "I have precious cargo."
"Then I'll walk you back to your place."
You gave him a questioning look. "And possibly see my brothers again?"
He shrugged. "I have to protect you, remember? I'm your hero."
You rolled your eyes and smiled. "If you insist."
You both walked and talked, you holding the food and him holding the drinks. "I'm thirsty." He said. "Which one of these milkshakes is yours so I can steal some?"
You laughed. "I have no idea. I told him to surprise me, so that's what he did. Which one do you think I'd like?"
"Peanut butter cup. Definitely." He then took a sip of it, taking it out of the cup holder and putting it towards you. "Try it. Maybe it'll make you stay."
You look at him as he smiled. "I wish. If it tastes bad I'm releasing my brothers onto you." He chucled. You then took a sip, not ready for that level of tastiness to be in that shake. "Holy crap that's amazing!"
"See?!"
"What is up with this ghostly bipolar town? I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone." You then both got to the motel. "You can go if you want."
"You're living in a motel?"
"Always. Well, sometimes we sleep in the car." You said casually, knocking on your door.
Dean answered the door, eyeing Sweet Pea. "What are you doing here kid?"
"He was at Pop's, and wanted to help me carry dinner." You said with a smile. "He also bought our food! Isn't that so nice of him?"
Sam came to join in. "How considerate."
Your smile became even wider. "Right Dean?"
"You two go on ahead, I'm gonna have a little talk with Mr. Nice Guy outside."

The Road So Far (pt. 2)
Sweet Pea x reader
Summary: Y/n Winchester and her two older brothers go to the small town of Riverdale for a case, and meets Sweet Pea on tbe way.
Riverdale + Supernatural Crossover
Word Count: 2006
Chapter 1 • Chapter 3
Sweet Pea handed Sam the drinks, and you stepped inside. "Dean." You said. He reluctantly gave you his gun that he was hiding behind him. "C'mon dude." You put the gun on the table as he closed the door.
You and Sam sat down at a small table and started eating. "So, what's up with Mr. Nice Guy?" He teased.
You smiled and looked down at your food. "I don't know. Almost everybody seems afraid of him, but he's been nothing but nice to me. I asked around about him to see if he's a player, but everyone says that he's scary or that he's loyal."
"Why do people think he's scary?"
Mm, probably because he's in a gang, and has a neck tattoo, and rides a motorcycle, and is known for hating the Northside, and his name is Sweet Pea." He stared at you, amused. "But I'm just guessing. Could be wrong."
"So it's like he's a scary mafia leader who's respected by his people but feared by everybody else, and also protects his girl and treats her right despite everybody's warning about him to her."
You sat there in silence, taking in the truth that he was saying. "I don't see the comparison at all." You said quietly, picking at your food while Sam laughed.
Meanwhile, Dean and Sweet Pea were having a conversation that was not as lighthearted. "What's your game here?"
"What?" Sweet Pea asked nervously.
"Why are you trying to get into my little sister's pants? Don't think I don't know the kind of guy you are."
"I'm really not trying anything bad." Although Dean was tall, Sweet Pea was still taller, and Dean hated the fact that he had to look up in order to face him.
Dean didn't believe him. "You know we won't be here for much long right? A week max, and the three of us will be on the road together, just like it's always been."
"Yeah, and she deserves more than that." He stepped closer, gaining some new found confidence to the Winchester. "She should be enjoying the things that's in front of her, not just saying 'Who cares, I'm gonna be gone soon' like she has been. She deserves a life, and she's not getting that."
Dean looked away and wiped his mouth with his hand in frustration. Maybe he was right. Maybe the hunting life wasn't for you. "Look, if I see or hear about you trying anything with her-"
"You'll shoot me?" He asked, some of his confidence gone.
"Oh, no, I'll be standing right next to you watching while she shoots you." He smiled at patted him hard on the back, going back inside.
"So, how'd it go?" You asked with a teasing smile.
"Where's my food?" You and Sam looked at each other. If he avoided the question, that meant that he came to a conclusion he didn't like.
You silently put his food in front of him on the table, and he pulls up a chair to eat. "Oh, by the way," you said. "After dinner I'm gonna go out to Fox Forest with a few other people from school. They have a lead."
"Sure, as long as we tag along." Dean didn't look up from his food.
"What? No." You whined. "It's fine, I can handle myself."
"And what about your friends?" Sam caught on to Dean's bitter tone. He understood that Dean didn't like it that you were attaching yourself a little too much to a town that you will be leaving.
"They've been in a lot of dangerous situations before. Jughead and Betty have caught this kid's murderer, a serial killer, and have figured out a lot of sketchy crap that goes on in this town. They're good at solving mysteries, and have stayed alive in the process."
Sam looked from you to Dean. "That's... actually impressive."
Dean ignored all of that. "Jughead? What kind of a name is Jughead?"
Your face fell. "Is that all you got from that?" He sheepishly looked at you. "I'm going. Don't worry, if anything happens I'll call. Promise."
Sam and Dean looked at each other. "Fine."
You hugged Dean, to which he grumbled and hugged you back. You then took the pie out of the bag and opened the packaging, handing Dean a plastic fork and kissed him on the top of the head in a fun manner, ruffling his hair. "It's cherry."
A small smile came onto his face as he excepted your rare, playful love. You put on your jacket, put your knife in your pocket, and headed out. "Love you guys."
"Love you too." They both called out as you close the door.
You then head out to Fox Forest, meeting with the other three. You all search around, finding nothing for a while. Once you're deep into the forest, you found some tents. "Hey guys." You said. "Over there."
We all hid, trying to see whether someone would come out or not. Someone did. "It's a Ghoulie." Sweet Pea whispered, with Jughead nodding.
"A Ghoulie?"
"It's a rival gang." Betty explained. You breathed out a small laugh. Until they shifted into their true form. You were hoping that this stake out was going to be false, but that wasn't the case. "Oh my God." Betty whispered.
You took out your phone, quickly calling Dean. "Who are you calling?" Jughead whispered harshly.
"My brothers. Trust me."
As he answered, Jughead ended the call. "No. That won't help."
"Let's all just go before they see us." You said. "We need to think about what to do next." They all agreed, swiftly leaving.
The four of you stood in the cold near the bridge. "Okay, I need to process this." Jughead said. "We'll all meet up tomorrow to talk about what we're going to do."
Jughead and Betty left together, leaving you and Sweet Pea alone. "Hey, you okay?" He gently touched your arm.
"Uh, yeah. Still processing. Are you?"
"I'm a little freaked by it, but we have to do something so I guess I should try to be calm right now. Come on, I'll give you a ride."
You both got to the motel, and you stopped him from leaving. "Wait." You put your hand on his, causing him to stop. You then take off the ring you've been wearing. "Here."
He smiled at it and put it on, taking off his dog tag and putting it on you. "I know this was a scary ass night, but I'm still not letting you get away from me. Hope you feel better."
You blankly stated at him before giving him a light hug. "Thank you. I hope you feel better too." He then took off.
You put the dog tag underneath your shirt and went inside. "So," Dean said from his bed. "How'd it go? You called me but hung up right after."
"Heh," you nervously laughed. "So funny story-"
"You saw the werewolves." He uncrossed his arms. You nodded. "What'd you do?"
"Nothing. We decided to figure out what to do about it tomorrow."
"Damnit y/n." He sighed.
"I thought it would be a dead end." You defensively said. "I didn't know that they actually knew what they were doing."
He scooted over. "Well go to sleep. We have to go to school tomorrow."
The next day at school you prayed to Chuck that Sam and Dean wouldn't do anything while you were at school. It was then that there was an announcement that you, Betty, Jughead and Sweet Pea were to go to the principal's office. Damn you Chuck.
The four of you were all sitting down in Mr. Weatherbee's office, and as soon as the principal left your two giant brothers came in. "Aren't they your brothers?" Jughead asked.
"I wish I could say no." You gave them an embarrassed look.
"Hi." Sam said. "I'm special agent Hoff. This is my partner, special agent Hassel."
You let out a snort. "I'm sorry, is there something funny?" Dean asked.
"Wow guys, that's good. Special agents Hassel and Hoff. David Hasselhoff. Nice."
Dean sighed. "Really?"
"Dean cut the crap, they know what they saw."
"You two aren't agents." Betty stated.
Sam sighed. "Y/n's right Dean. They're smarter that they look."
Jughead leaned in his seat. "Why would you two have different last names when we know that you were brothers?"
Your two brothers were silent. Dean then looked at you. "You wanna give your smart ass friends the hunter's talk?"
You looked down. "Not really." You felt Sweet Pea stare at you, but you refused to look at him. He'd want to stay far away from you now, you were sure of it.
Sam and Dean finished explaining everything. The three teenagers sitting next to you were staring at you. You kept your gaze on the floor. "So that's why you all have to stay away from that place." Dean said. "At least until we take care of them."
"No." Betty said.
"Wha- were you not just listening to what they were saying?!" You exclaimed.
"You need more people, because knowing the Ghoulies, the whole gang's probably werewolves."
"Betty's right." Jughead nodded. "Strength in numbers. You need the Serpents."
"Serpents?" Dean looked at you for answers. You put two fingers to your neck pulse. He understood that you were talking about Sweet Pea's tattoo. He huffed. "This ain't some game for kid 'gangs'."
"The Serpents aren't a kiddy gang," Jughead protested. "They're a family. And my dad is the serpent king."
You knew it was supposed to be serious, but you couldn't help but find it a bit funny. "Well shit." You said, smiling. "This town is so weird, and I love it."
"Y/n, you can't be serious." Sam said.
"Well, we have to take out a big nest. You heard them, there's about 70 Ghoulies. We need all the help we can get." You then turned to Sweet Pea. "Doesn't your gang have a law about unity or something?" You cocked your head, a smile on your face.
He nodded, feeling pumped up. "In unity, there is strength."
"In unity, there is strength." Betty and Jughead echoed.
Dean huffed. "Fine, I'll call Cas."
"I'll call Crowley." You perked up.
"No." Both your brothers said.
"Why?" You whined. "He's changed. Now that he's got human blood in him, he's good. And he has a soft spot for me. Admit it." They didn't respond. "Silence is acceptance. I'll call him right now."
"Who's Crowley?" Sweet Pea asked. "And Cas?"
"Um, they'll probably introduce themselves when they get here." As Dean left the room to call Castiel, you shifted towards Sweet Pea. "Hey, uh, I get it if you don't want to talk to me anymore. People usually stay away when they find out I'm a hunter."
"Are you kidding?" Sweet Pea asked with a smile. "You're a total badass superhero! That just makes me want to spend more time with you."
You gave him a huge grin. "Really?"
He nodded, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. He began to lean in, and your lips were about to touch before Sam cleared him throat. "You should call Crowley now."
You felt heat spread on your face as you nodded, taking out your phone and calling The King 😈. He put that as his contact on your phone.
"Hey Crowley. Whatcha doin'?"
...
"Sounds boring. So, I was wondering if you'd wanna help out on a case. Please?"
...
"No, not demons. Werewolves. About 70 of them."
...
"As soon as Cas is here, so about two days."
...
"Perfect! You're the best Crowley."
...
"Don't get too cocky on me now. I'll let you know when he comes. Bye!"
You then hung up the phone. "He's coming!" You happily said. "So while we wait on Cas, we have two days to help these Serpents to become a hunter."

- one of the biggest fucking plot holes to me is. tessa, j & doll. how did they meet up. what exactly were they discussing and why. why was doll so willing to work with a dd (j) where did doll get the patch?? if it was from tessa, why was tbe solver so willing to give doll an upper hand?
WELL. we know, or atleast can assume, that doll has spent a whole lot of time out on the waste. and meeting j and tessa must have happened by chance. there would have been obvious tension between doll and j, and while i dont remember doll's exact opinion on humans/think it was ever expanded on, she probably would feel less tension with tessa.
however. CONSIDERING yeva was patched, it makes the most sense to me that doll would recieve the patch from yeva? BUT... why exactly would doll wait until Later to have the patch on? if she already had it? could she sense something from tessa? did she KNOW what tessa was, and was trying to prevent being affected bt the callback signal or anthing similar???
well im gonna just spin a wheel and say yeva gave her the patch, but she felt no need to have it on until she came across tessa & j. she trusts herself more than anyoen else, so she needs to stay cautious ESPECIALLY around a dd. perhaps she doesn't explain to tessa or j exactly WHY she wants to go down into the labs, but briefly explains that she thinks something happened to her parents in the labs and wants to learn more, and since tessa must have initiated the topic ([what are you doing here, human?] "investigating some old laboratory. you?") she decided (or rather for her own benifit, as the solver,) to have doll tag along so she could take care of doll easier, in a place where she couldnt easily escape (the tunnels!)
but of course, this plan is interrupted, and she has to improvise.
- the labs themselves. "the humans thought they could control it, but they only managed to spread it..." tessa is an unreliable source, so we don't know how much of this is true. we DO know that the humans seemed to be restraining nori (hosting the solver,) in an attempt to learn more about it (as a means of utilizing it or eliminating it, i don't know) but this backfires. we know there were other solver hosts, so why were nori & yeva chosen in particular? yeva to recieve the patch, and nori by the solver or humans to stay alive? was yeva the only one to survive being patched? WHY? was nori simply the only one to survive the solver/being deactivated by humans? just... purely out of chance? same thing with yeva, why EXACTLY did they call on her when nori went apeshit? how did it get to the point that nori andyeva were the ONLY TWO LEFT? considering alice doesn't show up on the cf labs experiment list, instead replaced bt another character's name (an oversight or they used her deadname i don't know, but i'm going to regard it as canon) and alice PRESUMABLY isn't a solver drone (unless she somehow was and replaced her own core? that could be a cool potential explanation, especially considering beau probably helped. ) i think there's the potential for TWO types of test subjects. drones who were meant to act as essentially the therapy dog to the nervous cheetah (solver drone) and also were meant to monitor their behaviours so the humans didnt have to. my idea is that yeva accidentally got infected (how? not sure!) and in an attempt to salvage the data from being eradicated by the solver, they tried to patch her -- and it worked! so now yeva & her charge (nori) were both infected. perhaps the humans, or the solver, saw this as an opportunity to collect more data/carry out its evil plans more effectively Respectively, and eventually yeva & nori were the only solver drones left and all of the monitor drones (alice, the two drones at the start of ep 6...) were dismissed to simply work in the labs offices rather than take care of the solver drones that no longer existed. hooray! i think i got very off track but u get my point.
- alice. what's her deal? WELL. i really like the ad astra explanation (a fic series on ao3 by ladydaybreaker -- read it if ud like it is rllt good) so i'll go with that, combined with my personal view of the labs.
ok i need another nap ill keep adding more to this post until i am satisfied
i have a. lot to. fucking say. about the finale. a lot.

Okay, going to respond to the rest of your bullshit but to explain the comment you took a screenshot of: the last Targ Stan i was arguing with and blocked because I don't feel like arguing with people, i don't need or want your bullshit right now. I said that there was still a lot of pro Targ propaganda because truthfully Targs aren't special they're mostly fucking awful. They tried to say that Targs weren't still celebrated after Robert's Rebellion. Thank you for proving my point that despite being terrible people that mostly destroyed themselves and tons of innocent people in the mean time, they're still seen as heroes when Jon and Arya were growing up.
You may believe that the Dothroki aren't going to rape or pillage, but I just think it's a matter of time. And yes, I think Arya trusts her beloved brother's judgement more than a stranger that is trying to conquer Westeros.
Dany isn't going lock up the dragons again, not after seeing the dragon pit. She around with cow eyes at the skulls and blamed locking up the dragons for her family's downfall. Not all the kinslayer or madness from imbreeding or just general shitty management. Nope, locking up the dragons. Jorah explained why it happened, because the dragons destroyed entire villages of innocent people.
Listen, I don't care about your opinion. You aren't going to change my mind. It you want to make your own post about all tbe reason Arya will love Dany, feel fucking free on your own post and own blog. This is an anti post that I wrote in 5 minutes while I sat at my mom's bedside listening to a machine breathe for her. Is it 100% fact check? No. I tagged it anti, blacklist it if you don't want to see anti stuff. Leave me the fuck alone, don't replay to my post and don't tag me again. I will block you. Like i said, don't want or need your bullshit.
People think Ayra’s going to fall at D*ny’s feet but like… There’s so many reasons why she won’t. Her disrespecting Robb and Ned, her keeping Jon prisoner, the first time Dothroki get out of line with the small folk, finding out she actually believed Cersei, when she finds out the Wall fell because of her stupid wight hunt, finding out she doesn’t get to kill Thoros because of the wight hunt, threatening Gendry when she finds out who his father is, the dragons eating small folk like they have in the past… I mean, the list just doesn’t stop.
Dragons seem amazing until you see the reality of their destructive powers. Even is post-Targ Westeros they’re still spoonfed Targ exceptionism but the reality isn’t as pretty as the stories. Will Arya think she’s a hero when she realizes that those men she met on the road, who were kind to her, who offered he food and shared their longing for home and family suffered agonizing deaths and D*ny enjoyed it?

endless-obilvion
It even surprised Jeff how he gone from this playboy, swooning women with just a flash of that smirk, and a few sweet nothings uttered to them. Now? He couldn’t even get himself to actually strike up a conversation with the woman, and the only reason he knew her name was because of the name tag that was pinned to her shirt. He could’ve easily blamed it on his discharge as if you asked the United States Marine Corp what he faced out there that he didn’t dare utter a single word about would change a man. Which it very well indeed changed him, and his long time girlfriend leaving him shortly after. For Jeff though he rather pin the blame on the fact that he been rusty, and blonde that he found being the only reason he even came was a completely different scale of attractiveness. Causing a first for Jeff the feeling of having something caught in his throat every time he even thought of starting a conversation with the woman.
“If I’m honest with you. Most of them end up sitting in the bottom of my fridge begging to be eaten until they go bad.” A light chuckle leaving his lips, before his tongue glided across his bottom lip. His eyes seemed to narrow as he looked down at her listening to her closely, as this been the first time they even had a conversation for this long, and it been only a couple minutes. Plants-Now that, that would be the perfect reason to make his weekly visits more believable. “Never been much of a plant guy. One succulent I bought from the store, and week later it was dead. Positive I’m the only person in the world to kill a succulent.” The tone in his voice been one of lightheartedness. Self deprecating himself over his lack of having a green thumb, but even if it meant buying a plant that would ultimately wound up dead in a week was worth it having a few more minutes of talking with the blonde beside him. “But I’m sure you could find me something that I won’t end up killing.” The right side of his lips cracked into a half smile down at the woman.
“I’m Jeff.” Feeling the urge to push this conversation in a more personal route even if it been something as simple as her finally knowing his name. “Figured that I’ve been here enough times that might as well know who I am.” His stance moved to beside her standing left hand side, as they were heading over to the section of the green house. “How long have you been this? You know the whole plants thing.” His hand gesturing to the plants around them as his head was faced to the side still glancing at her, and his eyes flickering forward to watch his steps every few seconds. “Don’t imagine that one day you just woke up decided you were going to be working at a greenhouse.”
"Oh." Was the only thing Cam was able to mutter as she didn't know how to reply to the fact tbe mam dropped, she chuckled along, mostly confused as to why he kept buying the food but then again, it wasn't her business. Instead, the blonde offered him something else, just to talk to him a little longer and hoping she'd be brave enough to ask for his name.
It was no surprise when he mentioned not having the best hand at plants, the brief anecdote bringing another chuckle to her lips as she tried to cover her smile. "Oh, you'd be surprised the amount of people that can actually kill a succulent so don't worry about it but yeah, I can show you some thing." Camila nodded, pleased that he'd stay a while longer. Before rey started their way, the man surprised her introducing himself and Cam smiled, finally getting a piece of personal information on him. "Jeff, it's nice to meet you." She said holding her hand out to him. "I'm Cam but, you might have seen it already." She added with a chuckle as she pointed to her name tag, then they fell into a slow stroll side by side. The question made her smile, or was something that school kids that came on trips tended to ask her but she felt she could give Jeff a more honest answer. "I don't know, the whole taking care of them helped me heal and focus during a bad period in my life." She said when a small, rather sad smile. "And when I got better I just... I had this money and figured that I might as well keep up with that, help other people, too. So I got loan and I bought this place, and look after it." She said, her arms slightly up and out motioning the green house. "What do you? You work nearby? I figured that much since you came here so often." Cam pointed out.
