It's so dumb dumb stupid but the more I dwell on the Troubadour show the more I'm like, damn that really was nothing more than what Alex kept repeating: a warmup show for Red Rocks lol. I want to see my favorite band play a bunch of songs for almost 2 hours and I want to hear deep cuts and interesting little mashups and seeing that in a 500 cap room should be so sick but. It felt like a stamina practice. It didn't feel like a show for us there. And idk. Great for another big important show at a big important venue, that's cool as hell and everyone is going to have an amazing time. But there was something underwhelming about this underplay that left me feeling dismissed because it wasn't the big show.
