I truly do not fucking trust algorithms after.....i mean okay i didn’t just in general before but especially after playing SOMA like i know these motherfuckers will get just close enough to sentience to start recommending and instructing me on how to kill myself send me ads for exit bags and handguns and shit because they see me making suicide jokes, fucking link me to the wikihow article on tying a hangman’s knot and shit i know these things don’t have moral safeguards! I know it! And right now we just use them for advertising shit! Can you fucking imagine if we we started actually programming algorithms to do shit for us? Dystopia
