Also!! I finally got assigned/the name of my little first year mentee!!

Since there's not a lot of incoming grads for my concentration (from what I could see of the screenshots for the spreadsheet) each first year will be getting like 2-3 "mentors"

Another classmate in the group chat went, "[redacted] and I will co parent this young man to the best of our abilities😌" and that made me chuckle, that classmate is always pretty funny (he's also only 22-23 though, so he's also so young!!)

We'll be getting contact infos and stuff on Monday apparently!!

#personal #the substitute concentration rep did admit that not a lot of the first years filled out the form #so MAYBE we have more than just 9 coming in?#but she also said that bc of this she tried to best pair up people based on interests/vibes and being introverted/extroverted #so we'll see how random the pairings kinda are????#it'll probably be fine and I'm gonna try my best to be a little mentor for my first year regardless #it'd be nice if we clicked through similar interests though but there's no guarentee of that bc of how few responses and stuff that the reps #got back
