okay SO, I think she's on board with the pup...... but she says I'll have to talk to my dad about it and I KNOW he's gonna be a LOT harder to convince ;~;
That and I also want to go back to college soon now that I feel like I'm in a more stable place and that's expensive too... and if I do that I'll have to take less shifts at work... a lot to think about

Songbird
Yan!Childe x Singer/Dancer!Khaenri'ahn! reader
Proof-read by: @choquackette
a/n: in a way, does this count as a songfic :D? Also I'm gonna use Lost in Thoughts All Alone for this. And to be fair you're pretty much like Shigure/Azura from fates in this
TW: Kidnapping
Tumblr media
You are the ocean's gray waves
Destined to seek life beyond the shore
Just out reach
Your voice rang out through the crowd who was listening. Your Hydro Vision glowed as you made particles of water float around you. It created an illusion that made them looked like it was sparkling. It was mesmerising. To Childe, it amazed him how you used it so beautifully for a show. Unlike his more....bloodthirsty uses of his. To think a Vision can do something so graceful and morbid at the same time.
Of course he had his Electro Delusion but this is the Vision we're talking about. He uses it as a weapon while you used it for entertainment. To be honest, he never thought he'd see something like this. It was all thanks to a mission he has to do. Tailing a guy who was in debt to the Fatui and all. Childe think he was a fool. Instead of trying to make his business better, he wastes it on shows like these. But now that he sees you, he understand why. Your exotic appearance was a sight to behold. The only known person to have the same eyes as you was that Favonius Cavalry Captain and he only showed one eye. One already can make one look intriguing but having both made you look ethereal.
Yet the water ever change
Flowing like time
The path is yours to climb
Your dance was graceful, fluid movements that did flow like water. Childe think you could've been a good sword fighter if you were able to incorporate these movements into sword fighting. But for now he'll enjoy your voice and dancing. There's just something about it he loved so much. Sure fighting is always the one he loves but there's just something about you that he's attracted to. Was it your appearance? Vocals? Movements? Or those pupils of yours? He thinks it's quite silly, he doesn't even know who you are and yet......
A burdened heart
Sinks into the ground
Here he is, eager to look for you after this whole mission thing. If there's one thing he knows, is to not judge someone's prowess by appearance. Take the traveler for example. They have a petite form and yet they were able to defeat his Foul Legacy form! Who knows what you might have in store for him? Just the thought of you actually being able to fight makes him feel giddy.
Alas, all he can do for now is listen to your song. With that said, he didn't forget his mission. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw his target. The man was also in awe of looking at you. Too in awe of noticing his presence that is. He'll get right back to him when your show's over.
A veil falls away without a sound
Not day nor night
Wrong nor right
For truth and peace, you'll fight
He wondered if his siblings would love your singing. Sleeping to a lullaby sounded like a nice idea to him. Why he even thought of that was a mystery to him. Is this what they called love at first sight? He just can't help but wished to woken up by your voice that will roll out his name softly in the morning.
Sing with me a song
Of silence and blood
The rain falls, but can't wash away the mud
Within my ancient heart dwells
Madness and pride
Can't no one hear my cry?
The song ended and the crowd threw a round applause. You bowed and left the stage immediately. Childe, who hasn't forgot his mission, quickly trailed the guy he was after outsidd. "Ah! Hello there Mr. Wei Xing! I reckon you know who I am yes?" And so from there, he scared the poor man to the death with threats and grim reminder of the debt he owed. But Childe was feeling a bit merciful today "Tell you what I'll give you some more time on one condition." Wei Xing, his target, was confused. The Fatui giving a bit of leverage? Still, he would be an idiot to refuse "And that condition is....?"
Childe chuckled at his quick response. It's natural after all. All of his intimidation must have triggered his survival instincts. "Just answer me this. Who was that singer with a Hydro Vision?" Wei Xing was baffled. That's all he wanted? "A-as far as I know, t-their name is (Y/N). They're a performer that was passing by Liyue to gain more popularity across Teyvat." Childe hummed as he hears it. 'A travelling performer huh? Looks like I'll have to act quick if I want to meet them' There was moment of silence before he asked another question "When are they leaving?" "I-in a few days"
Childe let him go and as promised gave him more time for him to pay his debt. Should he fails again to do so.....he'll be history. He only had a few days to meet and talk to you so he has to be quick. Thankfully being a Fatui Harbinger does have it perks. One of those perks being having informants that can collect informations for you. And since this is no top secret info, it was quite easy to find out where you were staying and exactly how many days before you were gone.
As he wait for you at the road that led guests from Wangshu Inn to Liyue, he thought of what you might say. Maybe you'll recognise him right away? Or perhaps you were too innocent to notice the horrors of the Fatui. As he notices your figure walking on the horizon, he prepared to greet you casually. But then he was perplexed by your outfit. It seemed less travelling performer and more of a......fighter? Interesting. He drops the idea of greeting you and opted to follow your path instead.
He followed you until you reached a domain that was near one of the ruins. You stood in front of the entrance as he awaits your next move, intentionally letting his presence seep out. "You're not doing that much of a great job to hide yourself, Fatui. Or is it intentional?" Childe walks out from the spot he was hiding in and approached you slowly while saying "Well, isn't this a surprise? I just happened to be passing b-" His actions stopped midway as your pointed a spear at him. "Not a step closer, what do you want?"
Your starred pupils were sharped and narrowed. It held an intense emotion in it. Childe held up his hands in some sort of mock surrender and laughed a bit "Hey now! There's no need to get aggressive, is there? I was just curious why someone like you is doing here. Not exactly a good place to perform isn't it?"
"That's none of your business."
"Are you gonna go inside this domain?"
"...."
"If so, can I follow?"
"No."
"Please?"
"I said no."
"I'm very good at fighting you know. It'll be a shame if someone like you gets inju--"
Your spear was closer to him now. Threatening to slice him open any minute you wanted to. It didn't faze him at all. In fact it made him thrilled. He knew there was something about you that was enchanting and perhaps this was it. An unrelenting fighting spirit. In a blink of an eye, he immediately summoned his hydro javelin and parried your spear. You backed away in surprise but kept your guard up.
"Listen I have no time for you Fatui. Leave me be. I have more important matters to attend to." Childe just gave a fox-like grin at your attempt to intimidate him. "Is that so? Like what exactly?" You rolled your eyes at him. He was getting annoying for sure. "Like I said, none of your business." It looks like you might have to halt your plans for tonight. The Abyss Order can wait. "So, what are you gonna do little star?" Without warning you immediately engulfed yourself in a torrent of water and disappears. Childe was shocked when he sees it but still grinned. If you wanted to be a challenge then so be it. If he can't bother you during your 'missions' then he'll bother you during the day.
And that is exactly what he did.
For two days straight he kept trying to talk with you whenever you were out visiting the Liyue Harbour. At first you tolerated him but now he was insufferable. You were glad you were leaving as soon as possible next day but Childe was not having any of that. In just the span of two days his little curiosity had turned into a tsunami of obsession. Your expressions and reactions not to mention the little heart warming moments he saw you cheering up some of the kids in Liyue. He wants to know even more of you.
And precisely why he is fighting you right now.
As he has deducted, your move was as graceful as your dance. Your fighting style was as unique as your eyes. Something he has never seen before. You dodged his flurry of arrows, panting while doing so. How long has he fought you? It felt like an eternity. You tried to dash to him and deliver a swift strike but him and his stupid shield won't let you. You jumped back just in time before he strike his hydro swords at you. You can't even get an elemental advantage here, you had to mostly rely on your weapon.
"Well (Y/N), it's been a fun fight really. But why don't you surrender now? You're tired aren't you? I promise things will go smoothly if you just give up."
You didn't want to. There's no way you'll give up. What does he wants with you anyway? You only stared down at him in silence, refusing to answer. "Ah, stubborn now aren't we? I guess I'll have to use a little force...." He activated his Delusion and immediately dashed towards you, giving you no time to react. The electricity made you groan in pain. You use your spear as a stabiliser from falling to the ground but you were running out of energy at this point.
Before you could fall, Childe took a hold of your body. "See? It's not that hard to give up." You wanted to mutter a remark but darkness shrouded your vision before you fainted. You woke up in an unfamiliar room. Certainly not Liyue's architecture nor your homeland's. Your first thought was to look for an escape.
The door was locked.
Windows were barred.
The wardrobe had the clothes you brought with you across Teyvat along with some new ones.
There was a chain at your leg that's long enough to get you to the bathroom.
Your Vision and weapon was missing.
You waited in silence, pondering what to do. You certainly can't escape like this. But then you heard the door open. And as expected it was him. "Did you had a good sleep? You were knocked out for a while there." You scowled at him "Drop the act, where am I?" Childe hummed before answering "You're in Snezhnaya of course! Where else would I bring you? I'm quite lucky to be able to bring you here and visit my siblings! Say would you like to visi--" "Why would I do that?"
His grin dropped and his eyes stared at you. His eyes was....hollow...empty...devoid of any humanity in them. He walked towards you and you instinctively stepped back. He had you trapped against a wall. He lifted up your chin and let out a small but terrifying smile "Well, because your fate is in my hands. There's nothing you can do now, is there? But I'll forgive your behaviour for now.....if you sing that is."
You hated it. You hated the fact he was right. So you had no choice but to stay obedient and be his 'little songbird' until you found a window of opportunity. He lets go of your chin and sat down on a chair. With a heavy heart, you opened your mouth to sing.
You are the ocean's gray waves
Destined to seek life beyond the shore
Just out of reach
Childe smiled as you sing. He's sure you'll come around and fall in love with him soon enough.
Yet the water ever change
Flowing like time
The path is yours to climb
Shame that you can't meet his family yet. They would've love you. He can't wait for that day to arrive though. He can't help but feel joy. His little songbird, all his and no one else.
You are the ocean's gray waves.

↬ Yamaguchi Tadashi
Tumblr media
『Cookies & Cream flavoured Pocky』
Tumblr media
➳ It wasn't such a bad idea to play around once in a while
➳ So you bought a pack of Cookies and Cream pocky to play with Yamaguchi
➳ He wasn't too big on the idea at first, since you two are just FRIENDS after all
➳ Not for long though
➳ But you managed to convince him, saying that it'll be fun and stuff
➳ He reluctantly gave in eventually
➳ You gave him the advantage of biting his end first, and you scooted closer to bite yours
➳ When I tell you you could feel the heat radiating from his face
➳ The both of you started the game after you counted to three
➳ You started off pretty slowly, then you sped up after noticing Yamaguchi's pace slowing down
➳ You were nearing the middle of the pocky, when all of a sudden Yamaguchi picked up the pace and reached the middle of the pocky
➳ But he didn't stop there
➳ Instead of moving away and claiming his victory, he continued biting until he reached your lips
➳ You were shocked, obviously, so you just sat there and stared at Yamaguchi's closed eyes as he continued to kiss you
➳ After what felt like an eternity, he finally pulled away and looked at you. As soon as he noticed you're a blushing mess, a small smirk formed on his face
➳ “Well, wasn't that fun?”
➳ Your blush darkened and you narrowed your eyes at him
➳ “You sly little….”
➳ “You should've expected that coming though~”
➳ “Well, you sped up all of a sudden!! How was I supposed to see that coming?!”
➳ You grabbed the pocky box and took another stick out
➳ “Let's do it again. I won't lose this time.”
➳ Let's just say that this went on for a pretty long time and at the end of the day, you decided it'd be best to just confess your feelings to him
➳ (Which was also "coincidentally" the sole reason you wanted to play a pocky game with him)
↬ Akaashi Keiji
Tumblr media
『Matcha flavoured Pocky』
Tumblr media
➳ Unlike the matcha pocky, your first kiss with your boyfriend was, minty
➳ You and Akaashi just started going out and one day, during a sleepover that was held at Bokuto's house, all of you decided to play pocky game since it was the 11th of November
➳ Of course, as a new (and also the only) couple in the group, the both of you were targeted as the ones to play the game first
➳ You felt a bit conflicted about this matter. Of course, it would be a dream come true to get to kiss Akaashi (who would even let that chance slip by) but you're also not sure if you wanted your first kiss to be because of a party game
➳ Akaashi noticed your reluctance and figured that you might not be ready to kiss him yet, since you two just started dating after all
➳ (Not gonna lie, he was pretty dejected but he valued your feelings first and foremost like the gentleman he is so he won't force you if you don't want to.)
➳ “I'm sorry, but can we pass this one up? I don't think L/N is ready to--”
➳ “We'll do it!! I mean-- I'll do it! I'm totally okay with doing it!”
➳ You quickly interrupted Akaashi and grabbed the Matcha pocky box from the table before taking one pocky stick out
➳ “L-let's do this…”
➳ You bit one end of the pocky and moved closer to Akaashi to make it easier for him to bite his side of the end
➳ Kaori and Bokuto both whistled at your boldness which made you blush even harder. Akaashi sent a silent glare their way in an attempt to make them shut up, to which they did (but not without smirking and grinning like cats at the sight of you and Akaashi)
➳ The game started and you could feel everyone's stares digging a hole inside you
➳ The two of you started at a pretty slow pace, and it felt like the pocky was kilometres long given how long it took for you to reach the middle
➳ As the both of your faces started to get closer, your heart thumped louder and louder, making you worried that Akaashi would hear it
➳ You took a glance at his face, and just as you did, almost as if he noticed your glance, he looked back at you
➳ Seeing Akaashi's beautiful eyes staring back at yours in such close proximity made your brain stopped working for a moment and in a state of panic, you accidentally snapped the pocky in two and stumbled backwards
➳ Akaashi blinked in confusion at the whole situation, which just made your brain short circuited and steams started to escape from your ears
➳ You became a stuttering mess and you couldn't sit back up until Akaashi held out a hand to help you
➳ As soon as you got to sit up straight again, you immediately buried your face in his chest and murmured “It's my lost….”.
➳ Akaashi finished biting the leftover pocky and held you closer to him
➳ “That was a good game,” he whispered back
➳ Everyone started to give you two lovebirds teasing grins and laughs
➳ The game continued with you still buried in Akaashi's chest, with you occasionally giving curious glances to see exactly what was happening
➳ After some time, everyone started to get sleepy and decided that it was time to sleep
➳ After what just happened, you honestly didn't really feel like sleeping
➳ So instead you whispered Akaashi's name and gestured for him to come closer after you two were ready to lay down on the futon
➳ “What is it, L/N?”
➳ He came closer to you but was surprised when you suddenly pulled the collar of his shirt and tiptoed just enough to reach his face before planting a kiss on his lips
➳ The kiss smelled and tasted a bit like mint, since you two just brushed your teeth and all, but you honestly weren't complaining at all. It was refreshing
➳ Right after you parted your lips, you tried to look at him straight in the eyes (keyword: tried) and explained your actions
➳ “S-sorry I suddenly snapped the pocky….it was an accident...well, kind of. Besides that, I wanted our first kiss to be special so uhm…”
➳ Akaashi understood your intention now and he couldn't help but to give a soft chuckle at your flustered self
➳ “W-what's so funny??”
➳ “Nothing, it's just…..you were too cute so…”
➳ You silently screamed at him and lightly punched his arm as he continued chuckling. The both of you were still careful so as to not make any noise and wake up the others though
➳ (Kind of useless though since they were just pretending to sleep and already witnessed your lovey-dovey couple moments)
↬ Yaku Morisuke
Tumblr media
『Tsubu Tsubu Strawberry flavoured Heart Shaped Pocky』
Tumblr media
➳ It all started with a stupid dare by Kuroo
➳ Of course, how could you chicken out and refuse if that was the case?
➳ Apparently, Kuroo’s older sister bought too many boxes of pocky and gave him some. He thought of sharing them with the team and brought them to school
➳ After practice was done, however, he got a brilliant idea
➳ He distributed the boxes to everyone but when he got to you, he got a different way to give them
➳ “Here you go, Y/N. A heart shaped pocky, special just for you, the manager. Tsubu tsubu strawberry flavoured.”
➳ “Oh, I’ve seen this type of pocky on the internet before. They look so cute! But I didn’t manage to find them anywhere. Thanks--”
➳ Just as you were about to take the box from him, he retreated back his hand and held the box higher and out of reach from you
➳ You looked at him with visible confusion, and he smirked down at you
➳ “Well, this is a special type of pocky you know? It feels like a waste to just give it to you like that.”
➳ “Didn’t you say that I got the special one because I’m the manager?”
➳ You’re starting to get annoyed at his attitude but you tried to cover it up with a forced smile
➳ “Still, this is the only heart shaped pocky I got from my sister…..Hmmm what should I do~?”
➳ You tried to grab the box from him, but he only held the box higher and on top of that, used his other hand to push your face away from him
➳ You finally ran out of patience and started to go full on feral mode at him
➳ “KUROO TETSUROU JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN POCKY!!”
➳ This is why no one messed with you regarding the subject of candies and sweets
➳ It was quite a scene, and Kai had to step in to ease the fight
➳ Kuroo finally lowered his arms and you took that as an opportunity to snatch the pocky box
➳ But he used the same trick again and moved his arms away before you could reach it
➳ “I’ll give you the pocky, under one condition.”
➳ You looked at him with extreme irritation. His name’s going to be in your blacklist for sure now
➳ “What?” You said, rather begrudgingly.
➳ Kuroo smirked in victory. He turned away from you and faced the direction Yaku was in.
➳ “Yakkun! Come here for a sec!”
➳ Your heart literally jumped out of your chest at that moment. Kuroo’s planning something, and whatever it was, you’re not gonna like it
➳ “So here’s the thing. I’ll give you the pocky, but only after you complete a pocky game, with Yakkun. How’s that?”
➳ Your face turned dark red at his proposal.
➳ “Are you crazy?! There’s no way I’ll do that!”
➳ You whisper yelled at him so as to not raise any suspicion from Yaku.
➳ “And why won’t you, hmm?”
➳ Seeing his teasing grin and narrowed eyes, you knew at that moment, that Kuroo knew of your crush on Yaku.
➳ “W-what-- how do you--? Don’t tell me you knew?”
➳ “Knew what? Are you hiding something perhaps?”
➳ You gritted your teeth in frustration. Oh, he knew alright. And he’s gonna pretend as if he doesn’t
➳ “Whatever, and why should I even do this?”
➳ “To get your desired special heart shaped tsubu tsubu strawberry flavoured pocky?”
➳ Phew that was a mouthful
➳ He swung the pocky box in front of you, tempting you even more
➳ Just as you were about to agree to play the game, a realization struck you
➳ “Ha! Nice try there, Kuroo. What makes you think Yaku would even want to play this game with me?”
➳ “Play what game?”
➳ You literally jumped from your position in shock when Yaku’s voice suddenly came up behind you, earning a snicker from Kuroo
➳ “I dared Y/N to play a pocky game with you, and if they did, they’ll receive this special pocky as a prize.”
➳ You internally screamed and tried to keep yourself from murdering this rooster head but Yaku’s unexpected reaction made you forget about the murderous instinct for a moment
➳ “Oh, okay. Sure, let’s play it then.”
➳ “W-wait, are you really, REALLY sure you wanna play it with me??”
➳ “I don’t see anything wrong with that. Besides, you’ve helped us -me especially- a lot by being our manager already. Helping you with something this trivial is the least I can do.”
➳ You tried to hide the blush that was creeping up your face and Kuroo, noticing your heating face immediately nudged your arm while displaying a much wider grin than before
➳ You excused yourself for a moment and took out your phone before googling “Can you stay friends with someone you just kissed?” in the case of you two kissing after the pocky game
➳ “Well then, here you go. I’ll give you mine since I still have some more at home.”
➳ Yaku took the box of pocky from Kuroo after he fished it out from his bag and opened the packaging. He took one out and bit the end without the coating
➳ Noticing that Yaku's ready for the game, you put back your phone inside your uniform pocket. You gulped once and tried to calm your nerves as you moved closer to him to bite your side of the pocky
➳ When you scooted closer to him however, he didn’t notice your presence until you were directly in front of him and biting the pocky with a heavy blush on your face
➳ Yaku stared at you with his wide, brown eyes for a moment before snapping the pocky into two out of reflex and fell on his back
➳ All of the others stared in shock at Yaku who’s now on the floor, covering his face with one hand. It was pretty obvious that he was blushing, even if he tried to hide it. His reddening ears gave it all away
➳ “Yaku, what’s wrong?”
➳ Kai was the first to break the silence. You were still shocked at his overreaction so you were just standing there with the half broken piece of pocky still in your mouth
➳ “Wait--I-- I just--- Uhm--- I thought we were playing a pocky game???”
➳ You had probably never seen Yaku this flustered before in your entire life. It was certainly a sight to see, but it just made your blush grew darker on your face
➳ “And you were….Wait, don’t tell me, you don’t know how a pocky game works?”
➳ Kuroo guessed with a snap of his fingers, as if he just made a great discovery
➳ “Don’t each person just take a pocky for themselves and it’s a game where you compete on who can finish their pocky first?”
➳ Kuroo covered his mouth to prevent any laugh from escaping and your soul had probably left your body at this point. The second-hand embarrassment you were feeling was no joke
➳ Kuroo tried to explain the rules of the game to Yaku, which just ended up making the libero blush even harder than before
➳ “Who even invented this game….”
➳ He whispered underneath his breath after Kuroo’s explanation. He looked at you who were surrounded by the first years poking their fingers at your arms and asking, “Are they dead?” with a troubled sigh
➳ “Okay….let’s do this again.”
➳ He finally got up and took out another pocky stick. Your soul finally returned to your body when he was in front of you and holding out the pocky with his mouth
➳ “It’s okay if you don’t want to do it, Yaku! I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable or anything….”
➳ Yaku silenced you by grabbing both your shoulders firmly, but not so much with force, as if he’s treating a fragile thing
➳ “It’s okay. I really don’t mind if I’m playing this... with you.”
➳ You bit the other side of the pocky and tried to focus on eating without thinking too much on what he just said, which just ended up in a total failure by the way
➳ The both of you went on a steady pace but when you finally almost reached the middle of the pocky, you both simultaneously stopped and stared down awkwardly, trying to avoid eye contact with one another
➳ Many thoughts ran through the both of your heads, and all of it were more or less the same
➳ “What if I accidentally kissed him/them? He/they probably wouldn’t like that….”
➳ “He/they would probably even hate me if that happened…..”
➳ After several seconds had passed, you two finally decided to continue biting on the pocky. And simultaneously once again, might I add
➳ This just resulted in the both of your lips to brush against one another in the end, and you swore your heart just escaped from your chest when you felt the sensation of Yaku’s lips brushing against yours
➳ You and Yaku both moved and turned away from one another, too embarrassed to face the other
➳ “Well, you’ve cleared the dare, so here’s your prize.”
➳ Kuroo casually put the box of pocky on top of your head and left the gym to head back home, followed by the others, intentionally leaving you and Yaku alone in the gym
➳ Okay, maybe you can at least lift Kuroo’s name from your blacklist after this. After all, he did help you get closer to your crush…..kinda

“I’m Mnfhdphf,” you mumble with your mouth full.
"What?" She asks again, annoyed.
"She's Y/N, Meredith," Keanu replies as he walks in, pulling a shirt over his head.
"I'm Y/N," you finally respond clearly.
"Yeah, got that," she chides.
Keanu walks over to you and grabs a piece of cheese, popping it in his mouth.
"Y/N, this is Meredith...my agent. Meredith, Y/N...Y/N is my guest."
"Oooh, your agent. N-nice to meet you," you reply and hold out your hand.
She gives you a curtly smile, but you know it's ingenuine.
"What the hell, Keanu?" She directs her annoyance to him.
As if he already knows what she's thinking, he raised his hand into submission.
"Look, it was a small accident. No one got hurt."
She tuts at him and tosses the manilla envelope on the marble slab counter.
"What's this?" He asks innocently and takes the document.
"A role...they're filming here in the city. Figured you'd be interested since your project has kept you here."
You tug at the hem of his shirt and cough, "I'll leave you to it...just gonna go get dressed."
"That would be best," Meredith snaps.
"Play nice," Keanu says unphased and reviews the script. "Huh…"
You hear him discuss a few things with her as you scamper to the living room to grab you jeans.
"What?"
He scratches the back of his neck and cranes it to the side, "I dunno, Mer. It's um…"
"It's what?"
"Dancing?"
"Yeah, so?"
"I dunno how to dance. I haven't done something like this," he shakes his head and tosses the script haphazardly on the counter.
You jump into your jeans and quickly button the button.
"Did you say dancing?" You ask across the living room.
Meredith crosses her arms and rolls her eyes.
"Yeah, this role requires me to waltz."
"There's this dance studio on Van Ness. We passed it coming here…" you quickly reply, thinking that the last time you were there was with your ex.
"Let me guess, you're a dancer," Meredith retorts.
"No...I work at a bookstore...I mean that's not all I do…"
"She's a chef, Mer. Lay off," Keanu replies.
"Oh fantastic. You almost kill yourself while riding in the rain with a bookstore girl?"
Keanu's hand motioned her to stop, "If this is about the accident, it was my fault. Don't out blame on Y/N."
"You can't just go gallivanting around the city! Or you at least call me to tell me you're okay! I had to call a million people, plus the studio, and lie until I saw you. You didn't answer your phone!"
"I'm sorry…" you pipe up. "I didn't mean for things to get out of hand...if you want me to leave-"
"YES."
"No," Keanu said cooly.
Meredith shot Keanu a death glare, but he shrugged it off and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.
"Keanu…" she started to say as he shook his head.
"You got what you came for, Mer. You saw me, I'm fine. I'll take a look at the script and let you know. I'll call you in the morning."
"But-"
"Now, Mer I know you're coming from a good place, but you've been rude to my guest. So please see yourself at the door and we'll talk later."
Meredith's mouth stayed open like a cod fish and shot daggers over your way.
"Fine. Let me know first thing in the morning. Otherwise who knows, Hugh Jackman might swoop in on this. And don't forget, you have the signing party tomorrow night."
"Yeah, okay, Mer. Thanks."
She pivoted on her heel and headed to the foyer and out the door.
You plopped on the leather couch, stunned at their interaction.
"Gosh…" you were able to say. "I didn't think that would happen to me today."
"I'm sorry, Y/N. Meredith means well. She's tough as nails and has been my agent for years. I get why she was upset, but she had no right to talk to you that way."
He picked up the folder and walked over to the couch to sit next to you.
"It's okay...I mean, I don't know her from Adam. But definitely don't want to be on her bad side again."
"Heh, yeah. Me either."
You gulp as he sits comfortably next to you. Is this what it's like? Being normal next to the global superstar? Just be cool, Y/N.
"So, do you have any plans tomorrow?"
Your voice cracks, "What?"
"I had a fantastic time with you...I hope there will be more…" he smacks his forehead and blushes, "Gosh. I didn't mean it like that."
You stifle a giggle. I hope there will be more moments like that in the bedroom.
"What I mean to say is, I'd like you to be my date tomorrow at this signing thing...that is if you'd like to come?'
***
The next day you're on cloud nine. You've chatted to your brother about meeting the famous actor and he hadn't stopped asking you how he was and is he as cool as he seems. It's as if he wanted to go out on a date with him instead.
“Ask him for an autograph,” he asks.
“You’ve got to be kidding me, CJ,” you roll your eyes as you pace your bedroom.
“What? Not for you, for me!”
“Shut up.”
“C’mon, I have my Matrix poster that I can give you-“
“I’m going? Ceej.”
“No, wait. Ask him more about Cyberpunk...like can he-“
“Bye, dude!” You reply and end the call. It was just you and your brother these days, your parents had passed on and while you loved him, he did drive you crazy from time to time. He was finishing his senior year at Sac state and being your baby brother, you’d think you were the protector. But instead he always was the one to check in on you, to make sure you were eating all your food groups and drinking water. You loved that nut despite his spaziness.
You find yourself going through your closet for an evening with the superstar. You pick up from your bed a black leather pencil skirt and hold it up to your waist. Unsure if you can pull it off and not really knowing what you'd match it with.
Your bedroom door swings open and it's your neighbor's teenage daughter, Cori.
"Oooh, what are you doing tonight?' she teased as she crunched the apple she held in her hand.
"Help yourself, Cor," you roll your eyes alluding to the fruit that she took from your counter. You toss the skirt on the bed, then pick up a pair of your comfy boyfriend jeans.
"I got some Dr. Marten's that would go great with that skirt," she says and plops down the bed, rummaging through your clothes.
"I have worn Doc Marten's before you were born," you laugh. She's a cute kid. Hella beautiful and smart. She's talked about joining the Air Force one day and you hope she gets there.
"You need to show some leg, Y/N."
"What are you doing here?" You tut and she hands you the pretty floral silk mini dress that you bought for a wedding last year and never wore again.
"It's for tonight. It'll be cold."
"Even better, he'll have to give you his jacket."
"How do you even know about these things? You're fifteen."
"Fifteen is the new twenty," she shrugs and gets up to your closet.
You stare at the dress. It's an outfit that does accentuate your legs and you've felt cute in it. Maybe Cori is right…
She returns and hands you a faux leather jacket that you bought at some boutique a few months ago.
"I dunno…"
She shoves it to your chest, "Trust me."
"I'm not sure if this is the right outfit for the event."
"What's it for then?"
"A book signing or something?"
"Ooh, he's an artist?"
"Kind of… thespian…" you blush and pull your shirt over your head and reach for the dress.
"Oh, like locally?" She crunches another bite of the apple and leans on the doorframe.
"Not exactly…"
You pull the leather jacket on and peer at your full length mirror. You look pretty good: chic and cool, not trying too hard, but an effort nonetheless.
"Black tights," she clicks her tongue and waggles her brows.
"Is that seriously in?"
"It's hot. Sheer tights and my boots, c'mon, Y/N."
"I dunno."
"Is he hot?"
You blush at the thought of Keanu and then that you're talking to a teenager about your love life.
"Oh, he is. Okay I'll be back with my boots," she replies and rushes out of the room.
"Cor! Wait!" You yell, but she's already down the hall. You look back at your reflection and bit your lip.
I can do this. What is one little night out with the man of your dreams? Nothing to be worried about.
***
Keanu insisted on picking you up despite your resistance. You told him it was fine and you could just meet up. He wouldn’t take no for an answer. Which secretly you enjoyed.
The roar of his motorcycle echoed down your street and you pretended like you weren’t waiting for him for 30 minutes on your couch. Your palms were sweaty an your hair was falling flat, but the excitement was overwhelming.
The knock at your door startled you despite your ability to hear him approach your doorstep. You take one more look at yourself in the hall mirror and then open the door. He’s wearing a nice coat, a v-neck gray shirt, and jeans. Maybe you overdressed?
“Wow,” he says as you open the door. “I leveled up for sure.” You giggle as he hands you a bouquet of wildflowers. The bursts of yellow and orange are gorgeous and he can tell you’re pleased with them.
“Beautiful flowers for a beautiful lady,” he smirks. You give him a kiss on the cheek.
“Thank you…” you reply. “Come on in, I’ll put them in water and we can head out.”
He nods in agreement as you pivot towards your kitchen, nervous that you have him in your apartment. Keanu Reeves is in your apartment. Get it together Y/N, he was between your thighs the day before. You silently chuckle to yourself as an image flashes to your brain.
“What’s so funny?” he asks as you stare at him, caught in your thirsty moment.
"Oh, uh nothing really."
He smiles and rubs his chin, as if he could read your mind.
"I'm really looking forward to this,' he replies.
"Me, too. I hope I don't get too much in the way," you reply as you place the flowers in a vase full of water.
"Of course not," he leans his elbows on your kitchen counter. He fits here, you think. "I just hope it's not too boring."
"A night out with Keanu Reeves? Anything but boring."
He grimaces and smiles again, "No pressure."
"No pressure."
He claps his hands together and rubs them in eagerness. He's hit with a quick pain and grabs his side.
"Ke...you okay?" You leave the vase on the counter and go to his aid.
He gently touches his shoulder from the fall the day with you.
"Yeah, just got a little excited, heh. Ke. I like that."
A smile is brought to your face as you realized you called him that. It wasn't like you had thought of it before, but it fit.
"Do you need me to look at it?"
He cocked his brow, "Trying to get me shirtless again, Y/N?"
"I mean...not gonna lie. That does sound like a fun time…”
“Hey, I thought it was the intent to wine and dine you.”
“Is that so?” You coo and approach him, placing your hand on his chest. His brown eyes are soulful and deep, you could get lost in them. He leans in for a kiss and you close your eyes. His lips ignite a desire within and he encloses the gap and wraps hands around your waist. You press your body against his, the thinness of your dress makes the apex of your thighs ache.
He reluctantly pulls away, "At this rate I should cancel tonight."
"You can do that?"
"Sure, just let me call Meredith and you can tell why I won't be showing," he teases and pulls out his phone. You quickly grab it from his grasp.
"No, no need for that!"
"You sure? I bet she'd love to hear from you."
You look at his screen and pull open the camera app to take a candid shot of you two. Your first photo together.
"Let's go before I get you into more trouble."
***
BRZRKR. It's a comic book. You're attending Keanu's comic book signing party. CJ is going to flip his lid.
You arrive at a nearby bookstore, smaller than the one you work at, but it's filled with memorabilia, dolls, comics, posters of all types, heroes and anti-heroes.
Keanu downplayed this to the umpth degree. Considering how small the store was, it's jam packed with fans and media.
This is a big deal. Leave it to Keanu to say it was going to be an intimate evening. An intimate evening with 100 people you think to yourself.
The two of you didn't really talk about how to address things considering you showed up together. You were a bit busy hanging onto his strong abs as he whisked you away on his motorcycle through the city. So you weren't prepared with the paparazzi and journalists buzzing your way, trying to get a shot of the mystery woman who Keanu had arrived with.
He was escorted to the back of the store, you saw Meredith and she ignored you, purposefully. As he and the head comic writer dove into a Q&A session of how the idea was brought to life, a woman around your age accidentally bumps into you.
"Oh, excuse me!" She whispers as people continue to snap photos.
"It's okay," you reply and smile.
"This is something, huh?"
"Yeah," you nod, trying to hear what he says about comic series.
"What magazine are you with?" The woman asks. She's wearing Doc Marten's and you stifle a laugh to yourself.
"Me? Oh, I'm not a journalist. I work in a bookstore."
"This one?" She asks as she folds her arms, peering over to the table. Her hair, braided, is a natural red which is ridiculously beautiful. She's like a siren, and particularly calm.
"Oh no, just on Columbus. City Lights."
"Oh neat, so then you're a comic book enthusiast?"
"Me? I mean I've dabbled in Marvel and DC. But nothing like this."
"Yeah, tickets were hard to get for sure. I had to pull a few strings just to get this pass," she says and holds up a press lanyard.
"Oh," you reply. The crowd laughs and Keanu shakes his head smiling. Dangit, I wish I knew what they were talking about.
"How'd you get yours?"
"Um, Meredith gave it to me," you reply and then realized maybe you've said too much.
"Cool," the woman says unphased. "Mischa."
"Y\N," you say and then turn your attention to Keanu. "I'm gonna try to get a closer look," you say as a segway to leave.
"Oh sure, talk to you later," Mischa replies as you snake around the crowd to hear better.
***
After almost two hours, Keanu has done some meet and greets, and other press photos. You hang out in the back and peruse the rest of the store. Meredith approaches you from behind.
"So, what did you think?" She's wearing a slick, blush power suit and she looks amazing. Her short brunette hair is styled and for a second, she actually looks approachable.
"Very educational," you smile.
"Surprised you stayed this long."
"I hadn't realized what this actually was. Ke didn't make it sound like a big deal."
"Ke?"
"Um yeah," you blush. "Just a nickname."
"Already there, huh?" She stuffs her hands in her pants pocket and you don't understand the chip she has on her shoulder.
You ignore her comment,"So should I stay around?"
"He probably wouldn't notice you gone."
You give her a side eye, the nerve.
"Who's gone?" Keanu asks as he turns the corner and is between the two of you.
"No one," you beam as he places his hand on your shoulder.
"Mer you treating my girl alright?"
She grabs a wine glass from a nearby waiter and smirks, saying nothing and then walks away.
"Like a bulldog," you say as she disappears in the crowd.
"How about we get out of here?" He says and draws himself closer to you. "You smell fantastic by the way, did I mention that yet?"
You giggle and shake your head no, "What do you have in mind?"
"Are you up to show me the City at night?"

Californian Dream (Pt. 04 of 11)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Billy Hargrove X Reader
Word count: 3 K
Summary: Being part of one of the richest families of California doesn't mean you're happy. Your life is boring, and you're surrounded by meaningless people and their meaningless talk. Even during Summer, with the break you have from college, there's nothing good going on. Nothing but the new pool guy, Billy, the most handsome man you ever saw. You were successfully avoiding him, not wanting to act like an idiot in front of the guy until Billy accepts to be your date for a fancy gala you're forced to attend. The night was going well, even better when he sneaked you out to go to the beach. But a gang of criminals breaks into the party, kidnapping the heirs to the wealthiest families, which includes you. So, for your safety, your parents want you to stay with Billy, living in his apartment until the criminals are caught. And that could take weeks, maybe even months.

Distance
In the morning, you tiptoe to the living room, but everything you find of Billy is a small note left on the kitchen table. He's at work and must be back by 5 or 6 pm. He said you can make something for lunch, and that he'll bring dinner. So, now that you're alone, you can't help but think. The names of those who died to keep playing back, and Gisele's is the one that comes louder. You feel bad for all the times you were mean to her, when you left her talking alone, storming away. But it's useless to feel this way now. It won't bring her back.
You're pacing around the living room, the news channel on, as they repeat the same things over and over. When you put both hands on your head, out of desperation, you feel as Billy's shirt lifts a little, exposing your thighs. And you realize you'll need clothes. And all your personal stuff. “Ame.” You mutter, going to the phone and calling home. As usual, it's Amelia who answers, and she squeals, happy to know you're fine. After telling her everything that happened and where you'll be staying, you start giving the instructions. Well, she's the one to point out what you'll need and how to cover up who you are.
The goal is to remain hidden, but you won't be stuck inside the apartment. So you need to look different, and for that, Amelia advises you to buy new clothes, normal clothes, instead of using the ones you have. And she kindly offers to buy everything you'll need and bring them over later today. She'll also bring all of your personal stuff. And money. Amelia tells you to keep some money with you, in case you need it. You're not sure what for, but you agree.
She gets here after lunch, with three huge pieces of baggage, and she helps you drag them to Billy's bedroom. Then, after you change out of Billy's shirt, she shows off the last part of her plan. Amelia wants to dye your hair and cut off a few inches. You don't think it's necessary, but she's worried about the situation, and for the sake of the woman who raised you, you let her do it. Once she's done, she helps you clean the bathroom before leaving, giving you a tight hug and asking you to keep in touch and be careful.
Then the rest of the day is pretty boring. You do give some trips to the bathroom, just to check the hair. It's nice having your natural color back, but you never thought it would be in these circumstances.
You're watching the news again, seating on the couch, when the door opens. Turning your head, you give Billy a small smile. When his eyes find you, he furrows his eyebrows. It takes a while for you to understand why the confused expression.
“Oh! It was Amelia.” Quickly, you explain, standing on your feet and noticing the pizza he brought. “I called her and she helped me get some stuff done and well...” You gesture at your hair. “I've been bleaching it since Elementary school so I bet nobody will recognize me now. Amelia is probably the only one who remembers my natural color but... This is it.” You're speaking too much, and maybe a little too fast, but you're not sure why. “What do you think?”
He squints his eyes, moving to put the pizza on the table. “I think you're already planning on going out.” Well, obviously. He can't possibly expect you to stay locked up in here.
“I was talking about the hair, but ok.” Shrugging your shoulders, you gesture at the pizza. “Can I eat it?”
“Yeah. I'll take a shower.”
“I'll wait for you then.”
“Alright.” Billy stands there for a few seconds, awkwardly, before walking to the bedroom. “The hair is good, by the way.”
“Thanks.” You mutter, smiling a little.
“(Y/N)!” He calls out suddenly, startling you. “Why is there a bag full of money on my bed?”
“Oh!” Rushing to his bedroom, you find a very confused Billy. You left the dark blue bag on the edge of the bed, and you completely forgot about it. “Amelia said I should have money with me, just in case I need it.” Running a hand through your hair, you sigh. “But, uhm, if you need or want to buy something, you can, I mean... It's fifty-seven thousand dollars.” Reaching out inside that bag, you take one of the many piles. “Every pile has one thousand... So if I fall and break a bone you can use it to pay the hospital.
“Break a bone? Should I worry about that?”
“Just trying to light up the mood.” Giggling, you glance at him. “I won't jump from the window or anything. And those are my things.” You gesture, at the pieces of luggage. “Amelia got me new clothes. Normal clothes, not the expensive ones my mother makes me buy.”
“Amelia has everything figured out.”
“She does... I'll let you do your stuff.” Nodding to yourself, you walk away. You can't help but feel a little weird with all this, and the sensation of being nothing but a bother to Billy is starting to kick in.
You patiently wait for him, watching the news again. And the content of the tape was finally made known. And it's not good. Everyone was expecting a normal rescue. They'd say how much they want, get paid, and let the kids go. But apparently, that's not how it'll be.
“(Y/N).” The mention of your name startles you, your heart skipping a beat, and that's when you notice how focused you were. “Everything alright?”
“No.” You breathe out as Billy turns the TV off. “They have thirteen kids, right? It means they want thirteen parts. They'll let the media know how much, and when they get paid, they'll release one. Whoever they want. It doesn't mean that the Whaylands will get James out if they pay up.”
“These guys know what they're doing.” Billy looks down, thoughtful. “This will create chaos between the families.”
“Yeah... I'm even glad I'm stuck here because I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that mess.” Standing from the couch, you move to the kitchen table. “Can I?”
“Sure.”
Drumming your fingers on the table, you sit down, thinking about everyone they got. Alice, James, Daniel. Melissa, Candace. Michael, Antony, and Ryan. There are more... But you can't remember. Where are they now? Are they hungry? Are they being treated nicely? You doubt it. By the violence those men showed, they're not being nice. It could've been you, who knows where now, maybe starving, terrified... They're not your friends. They're just people you know, but still, you want them all back, alive and well. You want to hug them, to talk to them again, even if it means being part of their superficial conversations. You just want to have the chance to.
“Hey,” Billy calls, and you snap out of your thoughts, noticing you were biting your lip too harshly. “You ok?”
“Yeah.” Muttering, you take a slice of pizza, taking a bite.
“What did you have for lunch?” The question comes in a careful tone. Low and steady. He knows what you're thinking about.
But you can't answer it. It only hits you now that you haven't eaten anything all day, and the pain in your stomach is only surrendering because you're eating now. So you clear your throat, giving Billy a look. “Uhm... I haven't.”
“What?” He puts his slice down, a serious face on. “Couldn't you find anything you like?”
“That's not it I... I was watching the news all day and the police did next to nothing.” Gesturing at the TV, you sigh. “And I just can't understand how those big ass vans just disappeared into the night. It's just... One of the three people who were in the hospital died. Five of those working in the kitchens died in the explosion. They found the bodies today, and I just... I just wasn't hungry...” Maybe you should just say the last part. Billy doesn't need to know how desperate you feel.
“(Y/N), you gotta eat. What would your father say if he knew–”
“Billy, I need you to stop thinking about my father.” Cutting him off, you push some of your hair back, out of your face. He has to stop doing that. You don't want to be a job, you don't want him to see you as someone he has to look after. “What? Do you think I'll give him daily reports on my routine?” Making a pause, you take another bite, now a little annoyed. When you swallow it down, you stare at Billy again. “Day one. I woke up in Billy's bed, wearing one of his shirts. He left a cute note. I spent the whole day watching the news, freaking out a little, crying a little. Them Billy came back and brought me pizza.” You make sure to sound as annoyed as you feel. “Day two...”
“Maybe you should do that.” He says, those blue eyes locked on yours. Why is he staring at you like that, so intensely? Is he doing that thing again, trying to understand you? Because he always succeeds.
“Maybe you're crazy.” Shaking your head, you focus on the pizza again, silently finishing your slice. It might be so weird for him. Billy doesn't bring girls here, and here you are, invading his private life, stealing his bed. “The bed is yours today.”
“Alright.”
“Yeah...” As you take a second slice, you remember the gala. From the moment he picked you up until right before the explosion. It was easy talking to Billy, you didn't have to think before speaking. It was... Good. Effortless. You couldn't stop smiling, and you did wish you could hang out with him more. You felt free from all the rules and regulations, finally able to be someone genuine. Not the fake version you present to people.
But now... It's weird, uncomfortable. You did expect it to change as the days go by, but it didn't.
You started to count, obviously. Day three, day four... And it only got worse, if that's even possible. He always brings something to dinner, and you eat silently on the kitchen table, only to sit on the couch for a while, as far from the other as possible, and watch TV in silence. It's like two strangers sharing a roof, and you slowly give up the idea of this being something good. It isn't. Billy doesn't want you here, that's pretty clear. And it got even more obvious after the weekend. You told him he could go out if he wanted to, but he didn't. And it was just the same. Few words were spoken, a cold distance kept. He's like someone else entirely, not the same Billy from the beach.
And on the eighth day, you had enough. So you wait for Billy to go to bed, since it's his turn, and wait an hour before tiptoeing to the phone. Amelia is the only one you can talk to, whose advice you trust. So you call the private line she keeps in her bedroom, nervously biting your lip as you wait for her to pick up.
“Hello. Who's this?”
“Ame. It's me.” You whisper, giving the hall a look before turning around, leaning against the wall. “I'm sorry to call so late but I needed to talk.”
“Of course, honey. You know you can call me whenever you need.” When you were at the house, you used to bug her even late at night when you needed help, or just to rant about something. She was always there. “What's going on?”
“Uhm... Ame, this... This isn't working. Living with Billy is... Complicated.”
“Why?” You hear something in the back, maybe a glass being put down. “I remember you were getting along just fine since the day he saved you from drowning.” She giggles. “I saw you going around with him, laughing and chatting.”
Sighing, you shake your head a little. It was different back then. You don't know how, but you know it was. “Yeah, but he just... It just...” Damn it. Of all people you know, if you had to pick someone to do this, as crazy and insane as it is, you'd pick Billy. In any other house, those mansions, you'd have to act on your best behavior, participate in those formal rites for every meal, be always polite and kind. Here, you thought it would be better. You thought you'd have fun, as you used to on those days, with funny comments and quick remarks. Now... You don't know. “Billy doesn't want me here.” You burst out, keeping your voice low.
“Why do you think that?”
“He's just... Distant. Cold.” Why does it bother you so much? The Billy you met before was the one treating you as his boss. One of the owners of one of the houses he works on. What did you think? That he'd keep the act? “I'm an inconvenience. He's just doing that because my father will pay him in the end and no, I have no idea why it bothers me so much, but I just... I thought it'd at least be nice, but it isn't so...”
“(Y/N), Billy is a guy. I'm sure he's just making sure you don't feel uncomfortable.” She speaks slow, and you start bouncing your leg nervously.
“Amelia, I don't want him to fall in love with me, ok? I just thought we'd become friends or something like that.” The words come out fast, and you're a little pissed. “Billy doesn't want me here.” You repeat.
“Why does it bother you so much?”
“Because I had a nice time with him.” You burst out, throwing your free hand in the air. “He's so different from the idiots I'm surrounded by. I don't have to fake it, I can just say the stupid things that come to my head and I never had anyone I could be myself with. And God, I was so stupid to think this would be fun, or...” Taking a deep breath, your voice fades as you collect your thoughts. Moving from the wall, you start pacing around. “I'll just look for some apartment to rent, Ame. I don't want to be–” The sentence is cut short when you see a figure standing by the end of the table. Your eyes go wide, a hand on your heart as you recognize Billy, arms crossed, his eyes on you. “Ame, I'll have to go. Talk to you tomorrow?”
“Alright, honey. Try talking to Billy before making any decisions.”
“Ok. Good night.” You mumble before hanging up. Swallowing hard, you step back, leaning against the countertop. “Did you... Hear anything?” That's a stupid question, of course he did. He wouldn't be looking so pissed if he didn't. But it doesn't matter. This gotta be over soon, so you both will feel better.
“From the very beginning.” He says, tilting his head at the phone. “Heard you talking to someone and decided to check.”
“Ok.” Nodding to yourself, you look down at your feet. “I was thinking and I believe it will better if I look for some place I can rent around here. But don't worry, I won't tell my father so you'll still be paid.” As you speak, you make your way back to the couch, but Billy grabs your arm, forcing you to stop.
“So you think I don't want you here,” Billy mutters, his face lit up by the bluish light coming from the TV. He's gorgeous, so gorgeous that it's hard to say something to his face.
“That's crystal clear, Billy.” Giving your arm a pull, he let it go. “You said it yourself, you don't bring girls to your place and you were forced into having me here and I totally get that you don't like it.” Turning your back at him, you sit on the couch, eyes on the TV, but not paying any attention.
“You got it wrong.”
“I don't think so.”
“I just...” He makes a pause, so long it makes you look up at him. “I'm trying to give you some space.”
“Well, you gave me so much space it actually feels like I'm living alone.” Angrily, you move to lie down, fixing the blanket on your legs. “It'll better if I just move out.”
“Listen, I know you don't like this place.” Billy turns the TV off, and if it wasn't for the dim light coming from the street, you'd be in complete darkness. “It's tiny, your bedroom is bigger than this apartment.”
“How could you possibly know that?”
“Remember when the railing of your balcony was broken by a storm? I fixed it.”
You remember it. There was a huge summer storm, and a branch was ripped from a nearby tree, knocking down half of your railing. When you came back home on the next day, it was fixed. But you'd never guess it was Billy. “Thanks.”
“You don't have to thank me for doing my job.”
“Goddamn it, Billy.” Kicking the blankets away, you stand up. “Stop treating me like some rich chick! Stop putting words in my mouth and stop saying I can't thank you for doing something!” You're yelling, despite the late hour. The neighbors won't like it. “You never asked me what I think about your place so you can't possibly know if I like it or not. And yes, thank you for fixing my railing, thank you for keeping my pool clean, for cleaning the leaves, for... Hell, for sheltering me! But it's getting tiring. I thought you'd treat me like a normal girl like you did on the beach, but I get it now that it was just an act so I'll just leave.” That said, you're already in motion, not sure why. But you're unlocking the door and storming out, furious, easily finding the stairs and rushing down.
“(Y/N)!” Ignoring Billy, you don't stop, wiping some tears that escaped when you push the building doors open, the fresh night air making your breath in deeply.
You're overwhelmed. There's nothing new about the kidnappings. The criminals asked two million dollars for the first kid, but that was it. The police can't seem to get any closer to finding them, and the same goes to the many private investigators on the case. And the only good thing that came out of this shit, being with the only person on Earth with who you felt like you could be yourself, backfired. You feel stupid, deceived. Walking down the sidewalk, you roll your eyes when you hear the building doors banging, quickening your pace.
“(Y/N).”
“You wanted to give me space. Then give me some freaking space.” Your voice is cracking, which only makes you feel more like an idiot.
“Alright. I'm sorry, ok?” He raises his voice, and soon enough he's grabbing your arm. But you push him away until he let it go. “I shouldn't assume you would turn out to be like the other girls. You're not like any of the rich kids I met.”
“You don't have to do it now. You made everything very clear.”
“Would you listen?” Billy furrows his eyebrows, stepping back, a hand on his head. “I have this habit of expecting the worse, it always kept me from being caught with the guard down. But I'll admit I was wrong about you.” Avoiding his gaze, you pace around, not sure if you want to believe it. “I had a nice time with you too. That was the worst party I've ever been to, but it was good to know there's someone from their world who isn't completely rotten on the inside.”
You don't know why but the insult makes you giggle. But it's only because he's right. The fact that they're being held hostage doesn't change how some of those people are mean and rude. Their situation doesn't change who they are. And, being born into what Billy called ‘their world’, made you see the worst side of everyone. Money corrupts weak minds, you've seen it. The more they have, the more they want.
“Fine then...” Finally turning to face him, you sigh. “What now?”
Billy reaches out his hand, and you look at it, not moving yet. “First, let's get inside. You're in pajamas in the middle of the sidewalk.”
That makes you laugh, looking down and taking in the leggings and the baggy shirt you're wearing which leaves one of your shoulders exposed. “My mother would literally squeal if she saw me now.”
“She doesn't have to know.” That makes you smile even more, and you feel like you just got a glimpse of the Billy you were with at the beach. So you take his hand, breathing in, and letting him guide you back inside.

Do You Trust Me?
Someone To Stay Ch. 6
Spencer x fem reader
Tumblr media
Y/N POV:
*whack*
You smack your alarm as it goes off for the third time this morning. You look at the clock: 7:15AM. Was it later than you get to sleep in for work? Sure. Did you want to get up this early on your day off? Nope. Between JJ being the planner and Penelope's excitement for the weekend, they had convinced the the group that it would be best to get an early start. It was a several hour drive the to the lake, and they wanted to make the most of our time there.
You roll out of bed and look in the mirror. Sweats and a spaghetti strap tank...this will have to do. You leave your hair in the messy bun that you slept in. Half asleep, you fumble around for some socks and slip on some sandals. A horrific choice you know, but we're going for comfort here, not fashion. It'll be fine. You're not trying to impress anyone, and you'll fix yourself up once you get to the lake. You fully intend to nap part of the way there. You don't even bother to grab breakfast. Instead, you grab your bags you packed the night before and head downstairs. Spencer is probably waiting on you already.
You see him pulling the car up, right on time, as you make your way down the stairs. You slide into the passenger side, setting your bag down in the back seat. Reaching into a road trip bag in your lap, you pull out a blanket and pillow and curl up in your seat.
"Good morning sleepyhead" he chuckles. "Not a morning person, huh?"
You grin. "What gave it away?"
He hands you a paper bag and a coffee cup.
"Don't worry, it's green tea and honey" he reassures you, sensing your hesitation.
"I also got you a bagel."
"I don't know who's been giving you trade secrets but food is really the number one way to win me over." You glance over to see a slight smirk on his face. "How are you so awake? You had time to get ready, grab food, drive to my apartment, and you still seem more awake than I do."
"I'm kind of used to not getting much sleep." He shrugs this off as if it's nothing. You sense he doesn't intend on explaining any further, so you decide not to push him.
"I brought some snacks too. You're welcome to anything you'd like." You pull out a some goldfish, fruit gummies, and Capri suns.
He responds with a laugh.
"Ok you have the appetite of a ten year old."
You feel embarrassed for a moment until you see the smile he's giving you.
"It's cute though."
You find yourself blushing, not used to compliments. "Yeah I guess sometimes I just like to let loose, let my inner child out. Not everything has to be so serious all the time, ya know? What we do, both of us...it's stressful stuff. Sometimes eating whatever the heck I feel like helps with that. If that means chocolate milk and cocoa crispies cereal for dinner then so be it!"
Spencer gives you another smile before holding his hand out. "Alright, you won me over. I'll take a Capri sun."
You can't help but laugh as you watch him try to insert the straw with one hand and drive with the other. After awhile you decide to help him out.
"Here, let me see that." You fix the straw and hand him back the drink. "Goober" you laugh as you rolls your eyes at him.
"So what all are you planning on doing at the lake this weekend?" He asks.
"The question is...what am I NOT going to do?"
"Ugh." He rolls his eyes and laughs. "No fair. You're athletic, coordinated. You can actually do all the fun stuff."
You turn to face him with an incredulous look on your face, jaw dropped. "You're kidding me right? Me? Athletic? That's funny!" You laugh shaking your head. "Nahh I'd say we're on a level playing field. I'm not coordinated at all! I just like go have fun, try adventurous things. Like kayaking, I'm just mediocre but I still love doing it. The only sport I ever did was swimming."
"Ha! You were a swimmer, we're going to a lake, and you think we're on a level playing field?"
"Ok fair enough" you concede. "Will you at least try something new this weekend? Please?" You bat your big brown eyes at him, a technique that rarely failed you.
He feigns a look of annoyance, before a smile finally starts teasing at the corner of his lips. "Alright, alright." He throws his hands up in surrender. "But only if you help me with whatever it is we do. A swimmer and a nurse, you're practically our lifeguard for the weekend. Don't let me drown, ok?" He teases.
"Well since you asked so nicely." You give him a playful punch in the arm as you both laugh.
After a brief moment of silence you hear Spencer speak up. "Did you know that Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian of all time, winning 28 medals in total, 23 of those being gold medals? He swam in his first Olympic Games at only 15 years old, and won his first gold medal at 19. And you...already knew this didn't you?" He stops when he sees your eyebrows raised, giving him a slight smirk.
"Yeah Spencer" you smile, shaking your head at him. "I don't mind though. I like hearing all the cool stuff you know."
You spend awhile listening to Spencer talk about everything from Olympic swimming facts to CPR statistics and the origin of the different swimming strokes. A lot of it you don't know already, and you enjoy learning all of this stuff from him. After awhile, you unintentionally drift off to sleep.
He looks over and smiles, he doesn't mind. This happens to him quite often, and the fact that you encouraged him to share his knowledge gives him comfort. He reaches over and pulls the blanket over your shoulders. Hoping to drown out the sound of the highway, he puts on some classical music at a low volume.
You wake up a couple hours later as you hear the loud sound of gravel under the tires.
"Morning sunshine" he grins at you.
"Oh I'm sorry! I wasn't going to make you drive the whole way."
"It's ok, you got your rest. Better you be rested up and have fun today than stay awake just to drive."
"Thanks Spencer." You smile to yourself. He really was very sweet. Good friends are hard to come by, especially ones you can trust that will stick around. You secretly hope that Spencer doesn't plan on dropping you as a friend anytime soon.
You climb out of the car and take a look around. You've arrived at a modest log cabin, sitting right on the edge of the lake. It's surrounded by y'all trees, so thick that you can't see any buildings anywhere else, if there are any. You stand there for a moment taking it all. You lean your head back and close your eyes, enjoying the sounds and smells of nature. It felt like home. You grab your bag out of the backseat and make your way along a dirt path toward the cabin. You stick yourself hand out by your side, brushing the leaves on the trees as you walk by.
"You really are in your element here, huh?" you hear Spencer call out from behind you.
"Oh you have no idea. Just wait till I get in the water" you shout back over your shoulder.
The two of you make your way into what appears to be the common living room. The cabin appears to be completely wooden everywhere, floors, ceilings, walls, beams. There's rustic decor and lots of plaid, but it's done tastefully. It feels so cozy, and you love it.
"Y/N! You made it! We're in here!" You see Penelope's head pop out of a doorway. You enter a room to find two sets of bunk beds. Penelope and Alex have taken bottom bunks. JJ has her stuff placed on the top bunk above Alex. You set your suitcase in an empty corner and throw your pillow on the bed above Penelope. You feel her sneak up and pull you into a tight hug. "Hey bunk buddy! This weekend is going to be so fun!"
"I'm surprised Penny, the outdoors don't seem like your type of weekend."
"Oh don't worry honey! I brought a float with coasters and a tray for the lake! I'll be sipping on wine and tanning all weekend."
"Just make sure to wear sunscreen okay." You give her a nudge and a smile.
"Okay Nurse Y/L/N." She rolls her eyes and laughs.
"Don't worry! I brought enough sunscreen for everyone."
"Haha, of course you did Aunt JJ."
You look over to see her unpacking her suitcase and organizing her things in the drawers and closets. You decide to do the same, that way it will be easier to find all your things later. After you've all finished unpacking, Alex says she's going to take a quick nap. After getting ready in your swim wear and coverups, you, Penelope, and JJ wander over to the guys room to see what they're up to.
You peek in to see Spencer reading on the bunk above Hotch, who appears to be on a FaceTime call with his son, Jack. Rossi isn't in the room. He's probably already started organizing things in the kitchen. Derek looks like he's ready for the lake, already in swim trunks and rubbing on sun tan lotion.
"You need any help with that, hot rod?" Penelope jests.
"You know it mama."
At this response, Penelope runs quickly across to room and helps Derek to finish rubbing in the suntan lotion on his back. She looks to be enjoying it a little too much.
You and JJ stay leaning in the doorway, laughing.
You finally speak up. "I don't know about y'all, but I've been stuck in a car all day! So if you need me, I'll be out at the lake!"
"I'm right behind, ya." JJ turns to follow you.
At this, Spencer finally pops up from behind his book. "Oh umm, we're going outside now? What are you going to do?"
"I don't know yet Spencer, come with us and we'll figure it out."
You wait on him while he changes into some swim trunks and a t shirt. He stands in the doorway a bit awkwardly, hesitant to leave the cabin.
"Come on!" You grab his hand pulling him out onto the porch and down toward the lake, following behind JJ, Penelope, and Derek.
When you get to the waters edge, you see the group has already spotted a rope swing. Derek appears to be climbing into a position to jump from. JJ stops him, to test the integrity of the rope first.
Penelope watches as Derek effortlessly climbs up the rocks. "My monkey man" she smirks.
Once JJ seems satisfied that the rope won't break, Derek swings out over the water, doing a back flip before making a splash in the water that sprays everyone watching from the shore. A chorus of groans rings out, half from annoyance at the show off, half from not wanting to get splashed.
You remove your shoes and your coverup as you prepare to get in the water. You can tell Spencer is making a conscious effort to avert his gaze. You blush, suddenly remembering the girls' previous comments about how good you looked in the slick back two piece.
You quickly make your way up the rocks and grab onto the rope as it swings back towards you. Spencer gives you a concerned look.
"Are you sure you want to do that? You could get hurt!" He shouts up at you.
Instead of answering you give him a quick smirk. You back up and get a running start for momentum, holding onto the rope as you swing out over the water. You let the momentum push you out as far as it will take you, as you angle your arms and body to dive deep into the water, just like you used to off the starting block in swimming. As you feel your body dive down into the water, you angle back up and do a quick, few dolphin kicks, propelling yourself much further from the shore. When you finally surface, you're about 20 or so meters from the shore. You see the group staring at where you dove into the water, confused and concerned.
"Over here guys!" You shout at the group to get their attention. They look up to see you much further away than they expected.
"Hey, you weren't kidding!" Spencer laughed.
"We might have to have ourselves a little competition little miss mermaid!" You laugh at Derek's new nickname for you.
You do a few strokes to bring you back to shore as you climb out of the water. You slick your hair back out of your eyes as you wring your hair out.
"Alright Spencer! Your turn!"
You giggle as you grab his hand and drag him towards the rocks.
"Umm yeah this is definitely not a good idea. You clearly know what you're doing, but I will definitely hurt myself. Did you know that drownings are the third leading cause of unintentional deaths?"
"Stop being such a party pooper! Loosen up a bit. Now climb." You cross your arms giving him a look that lets him know you mean business.
"If you fall, your knight in shining armor, Y/N will catch you!" Derek shouts from his spot where he's swimming in the lake. JJ and Penelope are watching from a float shaped like a giant unicorn. Typical Penny.
"Shut up, Derek!" Spencer shouts back at him.
You can tell that he's actually nervous, and not just unwilling to participate, so you decide to climb up after him.
"How about we go together?" You smile at him.
"Can we do that?" He asks, clearly not believing you.
"Yeah! See how there's a plank of wood on the bottom here? There's room for both of us to stand. And then we just hold onto the rope. We'll back up to get some momentum, then right when we get to the edge, we'll hop on the rope ok. But make sure to let go before it swings back towards the rocks."
The look he's giving you says he still doesn't think this will work.
You take his hand in yours, giving it a quick squeeze. "Do you trust me?"
You see the anxiety wash away as he's overcome by comfort. "Yeah, I do actually" he smiles, squeezing your hand back.
"On three okay? One...two...three!"
Before you know it, the two of you are landing in the water. You both come up for air as he starts a splash fight with you. You're both giggling and splashing like little kids, but having the time of your life. You feel water peg you in the back of the head. You turn around to see Hotch and Rossi armed with oversized water guns, peeking out from behind the trees on the shore.
"Hey that's not fair! We're unarmed!" You shout at the two men.
"Come join our team!" Rossi yells back. You and Spencer look at each other confused. You look up to see Alex carrying four water guns out to the water toward Derek, JJ, and Penny.
You and Spencer turn to each other, each with a huge grin. "Oh it's on!" You say.
"It's so on!" he replies before you both make your way onto shore as quickly as possible. Hotch and Rossi hand you each a weapon and the war commences.
After a long fight, the team in the lake finally surrenders. Your team is the clear winner.
"Winner's get dinner first!" Rossi shouts before the four of you make a mad dash for the cabin. You grab your towel, guessing that Alex had laid it out for you, as you see the other ladies' towels laid out as well well. Rossi had the dinner on warmers, so it's all ready for you. As the four of you take your plates full of food to the dining table outside, you pass your opponents. A series of snickers and goofy faces ensues as your team teases them endlessly.
You felt so comfortable around all of them. For people with such serious jobs, they sure do know how to let loose and have fun.
A/N:
I hope everyone is still enjoying it! I know it's a slow burn but it's so cute right 🥰I plan on picking up right where we left off! Please reblog or comment if you liked this chapter! I love hearing feedback!

Saturday night's alright for fighting (but Sundays are meant for rest) - Curious New Hobbies
Part 11!
My god this took a while to write! Special thanks to @st0rmy-w1th1n and @mysnis (hope this is your correct Tumblr) for bouncing ideas with me and @kceedraws for giving permission to use her breakdancing au as inspiration for this!

~---~
They had meant to go the arcade for their date tonight. In fact, they'd even walked in and started scoping out games to play, but alas it wasn't to be.
Within moments of arriving, who else but Damian would single Mari out and immediately tell them to leave.
And of course she protested. In response, Damian only pointed at Jon over at the pacman machine (how dare he, that's the game Marinette was searching for!) and mentioned his lack of ability to keep secrets and suddenly she turned and dragged Tim right back out the door.
Walking down the sidewalk, he side eyed her, considering the best way to start his interrogation.
"So. You trying to keep me secret then?"
"No! Of course not. Just might've forgotten to mention something like… over a month ago."
"And it involves not letting Jon know we were there?"
"Only because he's a nark who would've ruined the fun. And heaven knows Damian and I wouldn't be satisfied with a void bet."
"You made a bet about our relationship with Damian?"
"About your family," she partially corrected.
"Do I even want to know."
"Was supposed to tell you a bit ago so you wouldn't ruin the stakes, so probably not, but im telling you anyways."
Sighing with false exasperation, he gestured for her to continue.
"We have an ongoing bet over how long it'll take everyone to figure out that you and I are together and not Dami and me."
With that, she relayed all the details of their bet and his part in it, manic grin spread across her face as her gait gained a small skip to it. Tim couldn't help but shake his head at her antics, amused despite an itch in the back of his mind saying this wouldn't end well.
"Alright, I'll play along. Honestly, I think you'll both lose. Your predictions are too specific. Too many potential outlying factors."
"True, but we did give set time frames. So at least one part of the bet will absolutely be clear on who won. Plus, I find victory in the fact that Damian didn't think of that possibility. That we'd both be wrong."
"On another note, we need to find a plan b. Anything in mind?" He asked, reaching out and snagging her hand to draw her closer.
Shrugging, she looked about them, seeing if anything caught the eye. Suddenly Tim stopped, accidentally yanking her back when she kept walking. She let out a sound of protest only to see his eyes locked on the building across the way with a considering look.
The building was gray brick with no windows, however a neon purple sign to the right of the black wood door declared it "The Underground", a well known club amongst Gotham dancers and while neither were necessarily that, word had gotten around enough for both to have heard of the place before from word of mouth.
"How do you feel about checking it out?" Tim asked, a curious look about his eyes, studying her.
"I'm not opposed to the idea. Little surprised you're interested though," she commented, letting him lead the way inside.
A quick ID check and they were in, the room dark with neon tube lights flashing across different surfaces and strategic spotlights placed to bring attention to the various raised platforms. It was strange actually. The wall directly to the left of the hall they entered from held the bar on a raised level only to slide into a ground level dance floor which was normal enough, however in the opposite corner was a raised platform where different people would hop up to take advantage of the spacing to show off both freestyle and blatantly choreographed moves. Another few spotlight platforms raised up randomly in the floor, but the main focus was a rather large circular one in the center of the place, raised just enough to make it easy to see from anywhere in the place, but not so high as to block the view across the way. These places were the most lit up, allowing the anonymity to the dancers below while allotting the attention to those who choose to step up. Beyond that, there were many crevices and alcoves holding tables into the walls and a small hallway across the way presumably heading to the bathrooms. An upper balcony held only the DJ.
While Mari took in her surroundings, she felt Tim lead her out into the crowds, before turning back to her with a questioning look. Leaning in she spoke into his ear, a spark gleaning her eyes, "You've been before, haven't you?"
"A few times. It's the perfect place to destress without the nonsense of keeping an image. As long as you stay in the crowd, no one cares who you are," he replied, spinning her around before stepping in so her back pressed to his chest.  His hands ghosted down her sides to grasp her hips, starting to guide her into the beat.
For a while, they stayed like that, separating slightly and coming back together to follow different dances as the music flowed and changed around them. Turns out Tim was a surprisingly good dancer.
Cheers broke out as a new song turned over, the first beats of Bum Bum Tam Tam coming over the speakers drawing attention towards the main platform as a pair jumped up, starting to get into the beat, working around each other only to burst into perfectly synced choreography at the first breakdown, resulting in more cheers. The two dancers would break away after that into a more freestyle, only to flow back into more rehearsed moves once more.
"Wait is that," she trailed off to a groan pressed to her shoulder.
"Yeah. That's them. Didn't know they came here."
As the song came to an end and the two on the platform jumped down, they could only stare as none other than Dick and Kori unknowingly made their way towards them. Tim pulled back from Mari subconsciously, not quite comfortable being so fully on display in front of people who actually knew them. Which made exactly zero sense when considering how much they cuddled in the manor.
Finally the two spotted them, their grins widening and a new energy emerging as they rushed over.
"Timothy! Starshine! You guys are here!" Came Kori's exuberant greeting, grabbing them both up in a hug.
"Hey, Mar, Damian not like dancing enough? Had to drag Timmy out?" Dick teased.
"Dami's at the arcade with Jon. And actually, coming here was Tim's idea," she answered amicably, conforming to the rules of the bet and not correcting Dick's obvious assumptions. "That was amazing by the way. You two looked great up there!"
Tim smirked down at her, seeing through her antics, especially now that she'd let him in on the rules of her game. Doesn't mean he couldn't play into it himself, he thought as he wrapped an arm around her waist and placed his chin atop her head.
"She's a great dance partner," Tim mentioned after both Kori and Dick had thanked and waved off Mari's compliments. "Considering learning something more structured with her, myself. Maybe give you two a run for your money."
"You definitely should! I can help with figuring out a style for you two if you'd like!" Kori offered immediately as Marinette turned to look at him in excitement.
"She has to agree first. Who knows, maybe this was a fluke and Mari will never dance with me again," he sighed in defeat.
Marinette turned, practically bouncing in anticipation, "Are you kidding? I'd love to! I want to come here again too."
"Even if you don't take my help with the dancing, I can record you two so you can look back and see for any needed improvements? That's what Richard and I do," Kori further offered up, Dick jumping back in right after.
"Oh yeah, it helps immensely. Especially if you were wanting to perform it on the platforms here."
Tim and Mari met eyes, before coming to an agreement, "Yeah, we'd appreciate that actually."
"Great! We'll set up some time here soon. In the meantime, I could definitely use a drink," Dick stated, looking back towards where he'd originally been headed. Kori grabbed onto Marinette instead, leading her back into the fray of dancers.
"We should invite Stephanie next. She would make a most interesting dance partner," Kori rattled on, suggesting a girls night that Mari agreed to immediately before getting back into the music with her new dance partner of the moment, Tim and Dick rejoining them shortly after.
The night continued on this way, the four trading off between them, two not aware that it'd become a double date by this point. Eventually parting ways from the two, Tim and Mari made their way back towards his apartment, breathless and happy despite the unexpected interruptions to their night.
"How come we never end up at your place?" He asked suddenly.
"Because my apartment has become workzone number 2. Seriously, the place has essentially become a studio for my work that just so happens to have a kitchen and bedroom. Among other secrets not meant to be divulged… yet."
"Is that pertaining to the mystery of your magic."
"Perhaps."
"Mmm, whenever you're ready, I'll be happy to keep them for you. Though I can't imagine anything bigger than holding two technical gods in your pockets at all times."
"Shhh, don't let them hear you say that!"
He only chuckled, leading her into the complex and up to his penthouse. Silence overtaking them until the door had clicked shut.
"You staying the night, sweetheart?" Tim asked, toeing off his shoes and walking towards his room to get changed.
"Mm, think I might," she replied, following him in and stealing a shirt before wandering into the bathroom to get first dibs on a shower. She still found it lucky that while he might be the shortest of his brothers, she was still small enough to be buried in his clothes. Made it easier for night like these.
Finishing up, she plopped herself on his bad as he went to shower as well.
Eventually, the door reopened, Tim entering in only pajama bottoms, hair still damp and in his face. She hummed her appreciation, enjoying the view and reaching out to tug him closer.
"Is it weird how comfortable we've become in so little time?"
"Only if you're uncomfortable with it."
"I'm not."
"Good."
With the affirmation, he picked her up only to lay her out further up the bed. Stretching out at her side, he pressed kisses to her cheek and down her neck, hand trailing against exposed skin, clearly enjoying having her in his home, in his bed, in his shirt.
'Hmm, what were two raging insomniacs to do with the rest of their night?'
…
Bonus:
Not a week later, after a long discussion with Damian to ensure that Kori was not included in the bet and swearing the alien to secrecy, they asked her to film something for them. A dance they had come with that was just for them. Not anything that could be performed in a club or for anyone to see. Maybe one day they'd post it somewhere or show Dick, but for now, it was theirs alone.

The Maze Trials: A Gally Fanfiction
Pairing: Gally x Emi(OC)
Summary: Emi, first girl the Glade has seen. Tougher than she looks and more than ready to prove it. Since day one her and Gally have been at each other's throats. Fighting constantly and not just with their words.
(Gally fanfiction which will include smut. It also has an actual story line. Think of it as an AU to the original Maze Runner. It'll mostly follow the main story line with some changes. Mostly focusing on Emi and Gally and their relationship.)
Chapter Twenty-Seven
Tumblr media
In the distance beyond the smoke from the flames I could see a few figures coming towards us. They were walking quickly. Once they got beyond the smoke I could see that it was Gally leading the way. He looked angrier than I had ever seen him. In that moment I didn't care about the grievers. I didn't care Gally had called quits on us. All I cared about was the big angry builder coming straight for us.
"Gally" Thomas said timidly.
Gally's answer was a severe right hook knocking Thomas to the ground. Several of the boys grabbed Gally pulling him back from the boy on the ground.
"This is all you Thomas! Look around!" Gally shouted angrily.
"Back up!" Fry shouted.
"You heard Alby! He's one of them! He's one of them and they sent him here to destroy everything and now he has!" Gally shouted furiously as he fought back the gladers holding him.
"Look around Thomas! Look around! This is your fault!" Gally continued to shout.
I moved to pull the gladers away from Gally making myself the only barrier between Gally and Thomas. Gally continued trying to scream and rant at Thomas. I grabbed his face making him look down at me. His eyes narrowed like he was about to turn his words on my instead of the other boy.
"Thomas! No!" Chuck and Teresa shouted from behind us.
I turned around quickly to see Thomas fall to the ground with a griever stinger sticking out of his stomach. I darted toward the boy falling to me knees beside him as Teresa ordered Chuck to get the other syringe. He was seizing. His eyes rolling back. I pulled the stinger out of his stomach and tossed it a few feet away.
"It's going to be okay. It'll be okay." I whispered as I held his face in my hands.
Chuck came running back with the syringe. We quickly stabbed it into his skin giving him the medicine.
"Take Thomas and Teresa to the pit." Gally practically growled.
I jumped to my feet to look at him. Who does he think he is? He's not Alby. He isn't our leader. I opened my mouth to chide him but he grabbed my arm roughly as he dragged me behind him to one of the barely standing huts. He opened the door then pushed me inside. He stepped in slamming the door behind him.
"Gally?" I questioned watching him start to pace.
He put his finger up at me then continued pacing. He turned towards me taking three large steps to put himself right in front of me. I didn't say a word. I couldn't. He was so on edge I was actually scared of what he might do. To my surprise he grabbed each side of my face holding me still as he crashed his lips against mine. I instantly melted into him. His arms moving to wrap around my waist as he pulled me closer. After everything that happened knowing Gally was safe was all I needed. I knew this kiss was the same for him. We shared too much to just completely fall out of each other's hearts.
He pulled away leaning his forehead against mine. We stayed like this for a few silent minutes just enjoying being close to one another again. I had missed him warmth. His touch. His lips.
"Gally" I whispered.
"Please, I just want to stay like this for a little longer." He whispered back tightening his arms around me.
"I do too but you know we can't. The Glade is literally on fire. We have to figure out what to do." I said quietly holding him just as close as he was holding me.
"I already know what to do." He said simply.
"What?" I asked looking up to lock my eyes with his.
"I don't want to talk about it. It'll just piss you off and I'd rather just hold you for what little time I have left to do so."
I pulled myself out of his arms stepping back so I could glare at him. He sighed crossing his arms over his chest.
"All I can say Emi is choose your side. Thomas or me. Just know that no matter what I will always love you." He tried to look stern but I saw the softness in his eyes as he watched me.
"What are you planning?" I asked hesitantly.
"You'll have to wait till tomorrow to find that out." He said simply then turned and left back out the door.
It didn't take long for Gally to take complete control of the Glade. The only ones not in his circle was Minho, Newt, Chuck and myself. We all stood to the side watching the others move about doing whatever Gally had ordered them to do.
"Can't you talk some sense into him?" Chuck asked me.
"He doesn't listen to me anymore." I said sadly.
"Then what do we do?" Minho asked.
"We wait for Thomas to wake up then see what he has to say." I stated matter of factly.
---
The night and most of the next day was incredibly long. Gally kept us mostly out of the loop but we had caught on to what he was intending to do for the most part. We were able to get away from the other gladers and make our way over to Thomas and Teresa who were still locked in the pit. We huddled around the bars as soon as we saw that Thomas was awake. He looked at us grimly before moving closer so we could hear him.
"It's not a prison. It's a test. It all started when we were kids. They'd give us these challenges. They were experimenting on us. And then people started disappearing every month one after the other like clock work." Thomas started to explain.
"Sending them up into the maze." Newt said.
"Yea, but not all of us." Thomas said grimly.
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
There was a pause before Thomas continued.
"Guys, I'm one of them. The people who put you here. I worked with them. I watched you guys for years. The entire time you've been here. I was on the other side of it. So were you." Thomas said stopping to look at Teresa.
"What?" She questioned him.
"Teresa, we did this to them." Thomas told her quietly.
"No, that can't be true." She whispered shaking her head.
"It is, I saw it as well as you." Thomas turned to me this time.
"I'm sorry?" I asked him.
"I saw you. The day they took you from me. The day they separated us. I felt completely lost without my twin sister." He said with a ghost of a smile.
"We really are twins?" I asked him.
He nodded.
"Why would they send us up if we were with them?" Teresa asked pulling Thomas' attention back to her.
"It doesn't matter." Thomas whispered.
"He's right. It doesn't matter. Any of it. The people we were before the maze they don't even exist anymore. These creators took care of that. What does matter is who we are now and what we do right now." Newt said glancing between all of us.
Then he turned to look straight at Thomas.
"You went into the maze and found a way out." Newt told him in amazement.
"Maybe if I hadn't Alby would still be alive." Thomas said trying to hide the pain he felt.
There was a pause as Thomas and Newt stared at each other.
"Maybe but I know if he were here he'd be telling you the exact same thing. Pick your ass up and finish what you started. Cause if we do nothing then that means Alby died for nothing and I can't have that." Newt spoke passionately never tearing his eyes away from Thomas.
Thomas sighed then nodded.
"Okay, okay, but we gotta get threw Gally first." He stated.
Instantly all the heads turned to look at me.
"What? I'm not gonna be able to talk sense into him. I've already tried that." I said matter of factly.
"I have an idea." Minho spoke up.
"And that is?" I asked leaning closer to him.
"We know Gally is going to try and banish you. We give the spears to certain people then use those people to catch them by surprise. We get you free then get out of here." Minho explained quickly.
We agreed that it sounded good enough then broke off to not draw too much attention. Chuck, Newt, and I went back to the rest of the gladers. Gally sent one of his builders to help Minho bring Thomas and Teresa to him. He had set up two wooden poles in front of the doors. The rest of us stood around them watching Gally pace.
The builder Gally sent came back holding a bound Teresa. Minho tossed a fake unconscious Thomas to the ground. They didn't seem to expect anything.
"This is such a waste." Gally said as he looked at both Thomas and Teresa.
"Gally!" Winston said suddenly making most of us turn to look at him.
"This doesn't feel right man." He told Gally.
"What if Thomas is right? What if he can lead us home?" Jeff asked.
"We are home. Okay? I don't want to have to cross any more names off that wall." Gally said walking closer to Jeff.
"You really think banishing us is going to solve anything?" Teresa asked him.
He turned to face her.
"No. This isn't a banishing. It's an offering." Gally said quietly.
"What?" Both myself and Teresa asked in shock.
The builder holding her moved to tie her to the wooden post.
"Gally! What are you doing?" Teresa asked frantically as see was tied up.
"You really think I'm gonna let you and Thomas back into the maze? After what he's done? Look around you." Gally spoke towards Teresa.
He then turned to the other gladers.
"Look at our Glade. This is the only way. And when the grievers get what they came here for. Everything goes back to the way it was." Gally stated like he'd never been more sure of anything.
Newt, Minho, and I shared a look. Newt nodded making me turn to see Chuck a few feet away loaded down with everything we needed.
"Are you listening to this? Why are you all just standing there? He's crazy!" Teresa said turning around on the post.
"Will you shut up?" Gally asked calmly.
"If you stay here the grievers are going to come back. They're gonna come back and keep coming back until you're all dead." Teresa stated harshly.
"Shut up! Tie him up!" Gally ordered finally loosing his cool.
"Did you hear me? I said tie him up!" Gally shouted at the two gladers who hadn't moved.
As they pulled Thomas up he suddenly "woke up". He elbowed them both to make them let go then he grabbed the spear out of one of their hands. He used the spear to his the glader knocking him to the ground. Newt moved pulling out his knife. Chuck tossed me a spear. Teresa kicked the boy who had tied her up. Gally started forward but Minho gently placed his machete on his shoulder to stop him. Frypan quickly cut the ropes holding Teresa as Chuck ran towards us. Thomas, Newt, and I stood at the entrance to the maze. Our weapons at the ready. Teresa and Chuck both getting behind us. Minho slowly rounded Gally as he made he way over to us.
"You're full of surprises aren't you?" Gally asked.
"You don't have to come with us but we are leaving. Anyone else that wants to come now is your last chance." Thomas said loudly towards Gally.
I watched as the keeper of the builders scanned the faces until he stopped at me. I could see the clear pain and betrayal all over his face.
"Don't listen to him. He's just trying to scare you." Gally said to the gladers behind him.
"No I'm not trying to scare you. You're already scared. Alright, I'm scared. But I'd rather risk my life out there than spending the rest of it in here. We don't belong here. This place is not our home. We were put here. We were trapped here. At least out there we have a choice. We can make it out of here. I know that." Thomas spoke sparking life and awe into all of us.
Winston was the first to step forward. Then Clint then Jeff. A handful of others followed all coming to stand behind us at the entrance. The only ones left were mostly the builders and a few slicers.
"Gally, it's over. Come with us." Thomas said.
"Good luck against the grievers." He said as he nodded.
I felt the tears falling. I stepped forward but Newt grabbed my arm holding me in place.
"Gally, please come with us. Come with me." I pleaded trying to blink away my tears.
"I love you Emi" he said quietly then turned his back to me and walked back towards what was left of the Glade.
I was pulled by Newt as everyone started running. I forced myself to turn away and run with the others. I tried to push Gally out of my head but all I could see was his pain filled face and all I could hear was his last words he'd just spoken.

Expectations ( Natsuo/reader)
Tumblr media
When it came to bringing you home to meet his family Natsuo was...hesitant to say the least. It was no secret to you that his family was tough, especially when it came to his father, who he seemed bent on that you never have the misfortune of meeting. You had already met Fuyumi. You had shown up at the Todoroki household to meet Natsuo for a date and you happened to run into her. She stayed with you until he was ready and luckily Enji hadn't been home that evening. You met Fuyumi a few other instances away from their home as well. She seemed to like you a lot and you liked her. She was always friendly and welcoming towards you. She was nice. Really, most of his family seemed nice given the circumstances. All of them but Enji.
The moment Enji learned his son had a girlfriend he insisted on meeting you. He had no real interest in you, Natsuo explained. He just wanted a chance to determine if he thought you met his standards. To determine if he'd allow his oldest son to say with you. Of course, Natsuo didn't care if you were up to his father's standards. You exceeded his own standards and left him breathless with every smile you gave him. His father's petty views wouldn't ever determine how Natsuo felt about you.
You never pushed Natsuo to take you home to his father and he was thankful for that; however, one sunny afternoon you almost left him speechless and stuck in his tracks. The both of you had been walking to the campus bookstore during your shared break so he could grab a last-minute textbook and then you planned to grab a quick lunch before having to part ways. The sun was beaming in the sky, the air held a slight breeze and the campus smelled of freshly cut grass- it was the perfect spring day. He was chatting about his day so far and sidetracking to plans to do something together later in the evening as usual. You listened to him, paying only half attention as your mind wandered to what Natsuo had told you that morning before class.
"My dad's bugging me about you again" he sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "I don't think he'll ever take the hint and just leave you alone. You don't have to do anything just because he wants you to."
You knew it bothered Natsuo. His father always bringing you up and trying to get more information about you. You were pretty sure he was right about Enji not dropping the subject anytime in the near or far future.
So, without much of a thought, you spoke up. "Tonight you should tell your dad I'll come for dinner and meet him."
Natsuo grew silent almost immediately as his eyes widened and he stopped just short of the bookstore's front doors. "You want to meet him?" He asked, stepping up to hold the door open for you. You quietly muttered a "yeah" before walking in and disappearing into one of the isles. He followed you quickly, "Why?" he questioned, "did he say something to you? You don't have to do anything for that man really-"
"No, he didn't." Natsuo had always been worried that Endeavor would get tired of his excuses and seek you out himself. "I'll have to meet him eventually, right? Let's just get it done with."
Natsuo frowned, "I know, but...I just don't want him to..." he gave a sort of half-shrug as he gave up trying to find the right words. He pressed his lips together and thumbed at one of the books on the shelf.
Smiling you took his hand, "it'll be alright. He's not going to scare me away from you. If he wants to judge me then let him, it doesn't matter what he has to say anyway."
Natsuo squeezed your hand lightly with a delayed nod. "I'll tell him...come to my place around six?"
"And we can go to my place afterward" you smiled, knowing that Natsuo likely wouldn't want to stick around with you after dinner.
You hadn't been nervous until you found yourself standing at the Todoroki's front door, waiting patiently for someone to answer. You had gotten ready as you normally did, besides taking a little more time in piecing together a nicer looking outfit and trying a little harder on your hair. While you didn't care what Enji thought, you figured you'd look nice for Natsuo at least. While on your way here you could feel the slight stir of nerves in your stomach, but now they were jumping to life and threatening to eat you up. Waiting at the door would always be the most nerve-wracking part. What if Enji answered and not Fuyumi or Natsuo? What if Shoto was home and answered? You hadn't met the young UA student yet.
Thankfully, when the door swung open you were greeted with Natsuo's nervous, but smiling face. "Hey" he breathed, welcoming you in and taking your jacket. "You're right on time, the food is pretty much done." He grabbed your arm, gently tugging you back to press a kiss on top of your head before you entered the living area.
You had seen Endeavor before, but never in person. Just judging by the pictures or new clips you'd seen of him in action you knew he was an intimidating man. You couldn't imagine what he'd be like standing before you in person. Enji was standing as if waiting for you to come in and greet him.
Oh yeah, he was way more intimidating in person.
Swallowing your nerves you smile and greet him politely. "It's so nice to finally meet you. My name is y/n"
"I had thought the day would never come, you seem so fond of excuses."
"It's been a long time coming!" You beamed a smile rather than returning his rudeness. "I would've come sooner but the university is just so busy this semester, work and everything else keeps me pretty occupied."
He almost scoffed and kept his arms crossed over his chest, "Enji Todoroki" he finally introduced himself.
Your introductions had been rocky and awkward, but as dinner progressed you found it becoming easier to be there. Enji hadn't wasted any time in questioning you about everything. You university career, what kind of job you were holding down at the moment, how you had met Natsuo- all of the basics really. Eventually, he'd move onto your family, which left Natsuo with a frown. He knew what was coming. Everyone else had left the dinner table at Enji's silent request. He sat at the head of the table, staring you down. "You're last names sounds familiar." He began, not paying much attention Natsuo as he shifted in his seat uncomfortably and, despite knowing what was going to happen, rather unprepared to listen. "Are you related to that old pro?" He questioned.
Your grandfather had been a hero in his prime, a rather well-known one at that. Your father had gone the same route, while your mother had stayed away from the public eye. Your family was known for a pretty powerful quick and a rather good heroism track record.
"I am" you nodded, predicting his next question before he had the chance to answer. "I inherited my grandfather's and father's quirk." Enji didn't smile at you, it was more of a grin as he glanced to Natsuo. You spoke more about your family before the words that Natsuo had been dreading all night left his father's mouth.
"I was worried Natsuo would bring home some weakling- or even worse some quirkless nobody, but you have potential." You were about to thank him, but he didn't give you the chance. "You and her will have extraordinary children, don't you think Natsuo?"
Natsuo didn't reply, just grabbed your hand under the table and grit his teeth. "If you'll excuse me" you smiled awkwardly before getting up to find the bathroom. Natsuo stood up as well, grabbing the plates on the table and taking then to the kitchen. Enji followed his son, leaning on the doorway as he watched the young man clean up.
After taking a few calming seconds to yourself in the bathroom you washed your hands and took a deep breath before heading hack to Natsuo. You were surprised to hear laughing coming from the kitchen and even more surprised to recognize it as Enji’s. It hadn't been hard to hear Enji's booming laugh and voice from where stood unseen in the hall. Enji was talking more about you and your quirk; about the kids, you’d have would keep the Todoroki name strong. Your face flushed red in slight embarrassment over what you had to hear, it was uncomfortable, to say the least. Enji was talking about you like some breeding stalk- as if you as a person wasn’t even on his mind.
“Stop talking about her like that!” Natsuo snapped. Your heart jumped when you felt Natsuo breeze past you and disappear. You didn't stay to listen to what Enji was muttering under his breath. Instead, you spun around to follow your boyfriend.
Natsuo was in his room, the door left unlocked as you slowly opened it and peeked inside. Your lips turned to a frown to find him pacing the length of the room. His face was heated in anger before he stopped to drag his fingers through his hair with a deep breath. He plopped down on the bed, leaving you room to step in and take a seat beside him. “Natsuo?” You asked, “What's wrong?” You rubbed circles on his back with one hand with the other cupped his face and urged him to turn his head to you. He didn't meet your gaze, his eyes were filled to the brim with tears as more and more began to drip down his face. His jaw was clenched as if he was stopping himself from spilling out to you. He wouldn't talk until he calmed himself down. "Natsuo" you cooed softy, moving your thumb to brush away a few stray tears. "don't cry it's alright." The moment you moved to hug him he gladly wrapped his arms around your shoulders, squeezing you tightly and pressing his face into the crook of your neck. Tears melted into your skin as he took a shaky inhale and nuzzled into you. "Whatever your father says, it doesn't matter." You wracked a hand through his hair before he pulled away from you a bit.
His eyes were puffy and red now, along with his cheeks. His eyes seemed to be signed red in slight embarrassment for falling apart like this in front of you. He rubbed his sleeve over his eyes and swallowed the lump in his throat. "I'm sorry" he began quietly.
You shake your head, "don't apologize, we all break down sometimes."
"It just makes me so angry to hear him talk about you like that." He clutched the blanket in his fist, "I don't care if you have a powerful quirk or if we'll have strong kids- You're so much more than that to me!" He slipped his hands into yours. "You're beautiful and kind and funny and smart- there's so much about you that I love- I love all of you."
A small flurry of butterflies rushed through your stomach and your face began to heat up at his words. "I know you do...I love you too Natsuo. The things your dad said are wrong and just...horrible, but I don't care. I don't care what he thinks of me. I know it must be hard, he's your dad after all, but all that matters is how you and I feel. I love you Natsuo."
His lips curved into a small smile as he moved to wrap his arms around your shoulders once again. You hugged him back, trying to match just how hard he was squeezing in his bear hug. “I love so much” he sighed.

Abandoned -M-
Warning - Sexual Content, Some dumbass plays with an Ouija board, Knifeplay, a smidge of Bloodplay, Master Kink, small bit of cockwarming/Impregnation kink, Demon Possession, Porn with no plot, Violence, Exhibitionism/Voyuerism, literally just utterly shameless, lusty filth. Please don't read if uncomfortable with the above.
Synposis - A night that led the group to a haunted house and when a few members decided to play with some spirits, one latches onto Taeil, giving him the power and confidence to have fun with the girl of his dream in the most lustful way best.
Tumblr media
Taeil had Y/N bent over the rusted sink, skin slapping together, hiding in a bathroom of an abandoned house Chenle suggested they explore. The rain pounded on the windows in tune with Taeil's hips as he clawed into the girl's flesh.
"Just let any of the guys walk in right now, see how good I'm fucking you," Taeil growled, "your shirt pulled under your nice tits, your shorts around one ankle, your bra and panties ripped to shreds."
Eyeing the torn undergarments on the floor, Taeil pulled Y/N to his chest, putting his fingers in her mouth as he forced her to look in the broken mirror. He had been acting weird since Haechan, Mark and Yuta opened an Ouija board, playing with it as Johnny protested.
"You idiots just took your hands off of it without saying goodbye! That's rule fucking one!"
"It's just a stupid game, nothing is coming to kill us, Johnny," Yuta folded up the board, placing it back in the cardboard box, "If something happens, we know the plan."
"Push Mark, trip Doyoung, run and try to find a photobooth, call the guys from Buzzfeed Unsolved," Haechan jumped as Taeil started to rub his forehead, "Yo, dude, you good?"
Taeil nodded, "yeah, just a headache. I'll be fine."
"Maybe Y/N can kiss it, make it feel better," Chenle made kissy noises towards the eldest member as Y/N brushed against Taeil's arm, a shiver falling down his spine.
"Don't listen to them, Il-ie, they're just being assholes," Y/N rubbed his arm, a sign of affection she did to everyone, a sign of affection Taeil was used to, but he found it so much more sensual this time and the blood in his face quickly went downwards, "they're going upstairs, come on. We shouldn't get left behind."
Taeil ripped a shard off the mirror, dragging it along the side of Y/N's neck, "You fucking love the danger, don't you? Knowing I hold your life in my hands makes you wet, huh?"
"Oh my God, yes," Y/N kept the tempo up as she stared at her distorted reflection, the pleasure on both of their faces prominent.
"What's my name?"
"Taeil! Oh m-"
Taeil slapped her ass, "that's not the one."
"Ma-ma-master!"
Keeping the glass shard in his hands, Taeil pulled out of Y/N and turned her around. He dropped to his knees, kissing her thighs while he dragged the shard from her ankles and up her leg, stopping at her hip.
"I could mark you right now, those fuckers won't ever think about touching you," Taeil looked up as Y/N threw her head back, "I should go fight Yuta right now. The way he wanted to hang on what's mine was disrespectful."
"Where is this coming from?" Y/N threaded her hands through Taeil's hair, as Taeil avoided the area she wanted him to kiss the most, "I kinda like it."
A chuckle came out of Taeil's lips as he begun eating Y/N out.
"This place is so huge," Yuta put his arm around Y/N's shoulder, "maybe we can sneak off and find a sex dungeon."
"Those only exist in Fifty Shades, you perv," Y/N pushed the boy away, falling into Taeil who pulled him up by his shirt and threw him against the wall, "Whoa! Taeil!"
"Calm down!" Yuta pushed Taeil's arm away as Y/N stayed as still as a stone.
"I don't think I should. She's my girl, why touch her, Nakamoto?" Taeil pulled Y/N, positioning her behind him as he punched Yuta, a bloody nose soon dripping.
Yuta threw his own punch, knocking Taeil to the ground. The two soon began wrestling as Y/N screamed for the others to help break up the fight. As the guys appeared, Taeil was on top of Yuta, landing blows to his face until he was pulled off by Johnny and Haechan. The area was tense, only broken by Taeil coming to his sense for a brief moment.
"Listen, dude. I'm sorry I don't know what came over me," Taeil genuinely apologized as he helped Yuta up off the floor.
Yuta was dazed, swaying as he tried to get his footing, "Nah, it's o-okay, it'll heal. Ca-can we find a be-bed or some pl-place for me to lay down?"
"I'll look for a first aid kit or some towels," Y/N ran off as Johnny, Haechan and Chenle helped Yuta down the stairs to a couch.
Y/N had found a bathroom, opening cabinets and drawers, only finding a small rat. Taeil had appeared behind her, a blank stare on his face. He put his hands on her hips, causing her to jump. When she tried to turn around, Taeil held her in place, trapping her against the sink. His hands dragged along her hips as he begun to push her shirt up.
"Just let me know if it becomes too much."
Y/N started to shake as Taeil continued eating her out, scratching down her legs as her moans echoed in the bathroom.
"I wish I had done this earlier," Taeil stood up as he picked Y/N up, pushing her into a wall, an evil smirk painted on his face, "Guess I just need a demon's confidence."
Y/N put her head on Taeil's shoulder as he pushed into her, a high-pitched moan escaping her lips as she looked up, noticing two blurred figures standing at the door. Y/N tried to get Taeil's attention by smacking his back. As her vision got cleared, she saw Johnny and Yuta, staring with mouths agaped.
"Finally!" Yuta cheered Taeil on as he watched the older male thrust at an inhumane space.
"Looks we have an audience now, darling," Taeil waved the glass shard at Johnny and Yuta, the two boys coming into the bathroom as they shut the door, "one more position change, darling, then you'll get your reward, okay?"
Y/N nodded as Taeil pulled out, leaving her empty, legs wobbling underneath. Taeil sat on the floor, patting his lap, Y/N inching her way over. Taeil reached for her hand, gently grabbed her wrist as she goes to sit on his lap cowgirl-style.
"No, turn around, let them have a look," Taeil signaled for the two younger boys to come closer and sit on the floor in front of them, "such a beautiful picture. They'll never get to touch, only watch."
Taeil slipped into Y/N, who let out a yelp as he dragged the glass shard along in her inner thigh, "Master, please let me cum."
"Soon, darling. We should've done this so much sooner," Taeil nicked Y/N's shoulder with the glass shard as he sucked thd blood that released from the wound, "you taste so good, your blood, your juices, your skin. Everything is so sweet."
Y/N begun to squirm in Taeil's arms, she hasn't been able to cum and she's not used to edging. Taeil's free hand came to rub her clit as his thrusts begun to go harder. She felt a rubber band snap and an unusual sensation befell her as Taeil came soon after.
"You're going to take every drop," Taeil kept thrusting, making sure Y/N doesn't waste a single speck of his cum, "beautiful girl, you've done well."
Y/N looked towards the two unexpected audience members, their faces covered in a liquid she assumed came from her.
"You two fuckers know she's mine, you can go," Taeil stayed in Y/N as he waved his hand again, "I see you two dumbasses flirting with her, I won't be gentle like I was this time."
Johnny and Yuta broke out of their trances, amazed at the sight in front of them, an exhausted Y/N, clothes all torn to bits and Taeil's dick inside of her with a puddle in front of the pair. The two scattered, Yuta hitting the door before Johnny opened it and leaving.
"Taeil, I'm not sure what came over you. But I would be lying if I said I wasn't extremely turned on with you fighting Yuta and keeping your cock in me," Y/N grabbed Taeil's arms, wrapping them around her as she snuggled into his arms.
"I'm not sure either, but I think I'm going to stay like this for awhile. Let's get into a more comfortable position," Taeil pulled out, picking Y/N up as he places her on a counter.
"I thought you said no more moving," Y/N whined, leaning on his shoulder as Taeil teased her, rubbing his cock up and down her folds before pushing in once again.
"I lied, sue me," a smirk appeared on Taeil's face as he rubbed her back, a much-welcomen soothing motion to otherwise harsh moment they just shared.
"Maybe I will, maybe we can have another round, but right now, just hold me," Y/N wrapped her tired arms around the boy.
While Taeil was holding Y/N, caressing her body like he has always wanted to do, he catches a glance of himself in the broken mirror. He noticed something comfortably strange that was like a blanket over his body.
His eyes weren't the same they were this morning, one was blacked out while the other was now red instead of his usual deep brown.
The demon started his takeover of Taeil and he wasn't about to stop it.

Note
I think i have adhd, my family doesn't believe me. They really support me, but they don't want to notice all the symptoms, i think because they think it'll be worst...
That sucks anon, and I’m sorry to hear that! I want to first caution you that I am ultimately just a random stranger on the internet and you should always back up or verify elsewhere advice you get that way before proceeding just on someone like me’s say-so.
But if you were looking just for ideas on where maybe to go from here….am I assuming correctly from your context that you’re still a minor or in school? If so, is there any kind of guidance counselor that you feel or would feel comfortable expressing this to, to ask their opinion on how to go about having a productive conversation about this topic with your family?
That would be my first suggestion, IMO….always seek out someone you can interact with face to face who specializes in helping with this very kind of thing (or whatever the problem may be). In order to get somewhere productive with anything like this, its really really ideal that you find someone to bounce thoughts off of who knows you personally, face to face, or can get to know you that way…that you also feel comfortable enough with that you’re not likely to give them misleading or half-answers to questions that are only helpful if they’re answered fully and accurately….and above all, you feel SAFE with them.
I can not stress that last part enough. Your safety in anything sensitive is paramount, and its really hard to make the most out of any situation if you don’t feel comfortable and secure with whomever is helping you through it. And something like this is a situation that really ultimately benefits the most from someone who can interact with you real time, in real space.
But back to your specific situation, since you said you do feel safe and supported by your family, which is really great and puts you in a really good position to find a positive resolution to this that you’re happy with….if its not a matter of being scared to approach them about this, but just having trouble coming across as credible….
Ultimately I think the best thing to do is just….keep trying to have this conversation. Try not to get too frustrated with them for not responding the way you really want or ultimately need them to, and when one approach doesn’t work….try again.
I know being ADHD that kind of trial and error thinking isn’t the easiest thing in the world to commit to, so if you truly do have ADHD like you suspect, it might be that you have trouble committing to that exact kind of approach and that’s the problem…..and so my advice there is just take a step back, breathe, and try your best to lower your stress and anxiety about this matter, because those things only exacerbate ADHD, just in my personal experience. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to resolve this as fast as possible, even if (understandably) you really want to see progress on this sooner rather than later. As long as you’re in a safe, supportive environment….you have time.
Your situation may not be as ideal as you’d like it to be, compared to if you got your parents convinced to help you get tested and find a possible diagnoses and from their, potentially either medication or behavior/mindset tricks and skills aimed at helping ADHD individuals compensate for the ways our brains work even when medication isn’t viable….
But from the sounds of it, your situation also isn’t one where time sensitivity is actively worsening or threatening to worsen your situation. If I’m wrong about that, let me know, as a lot of this doesn’t apply then, or isn’t the best train of thought….but if I’ve assumed correctly there, the best thing you can do for yourself is cut yourself a bit of a break. Commit to not abandoning this and still seeking ways to convince your family to hear you out the way you feel you’re not being heard, currently…..but don’t put too much pressure on yourself to get that accomplished immediately or according to any kind of arbitrary deadline. You don’t need to give yourself more reasons to stress. You need to find yourself more room to breathe.
So even if your thought patterns make it hard to sit down and have a conversation with your family that’s as productive as you want it to be, or where you make your case as strongly as you feel you’ve made it to yourself…..the second you allow yourself TIME to work towards those goals without putting pressure on yourself to achieve them NOW NOW NOW…..you’ll be doing yourself a world of good.
If you have trouble saying everything you want to say in a conversation and tend to be hard on yourself afterwards as you only then remember things you wanted to say but forgot to….just remember its not too late just because you didn’t say them in the previous conversation….you can still say them in the next one you have. Also, try planning ahead. Don’t try and do too much at one time, just whenever you’re fairly relaxed, have nothing else weighing on you, and you’re thinking about this, jot down what you want to say for as long as your brain cooperates and you’re getting out the words the way you want them to get out…..and then when they stop flowing….just give yourself permission to stop.
You were still productive. You still accomplished something. You didn’t figure out everything you want to cover all in one sitting, but you don’t need to. Put your notes aside until the next time you find yourself in a similar spot of free time and cooperative headspace, start naturally thinking about this again….and pull out that piece of paper or open up that file, don’t even try reading or going over the whole thing….just refresh yourself on the last couple things you put down to help synch up your thoughts then with your thoughts now….and right down whatever comes to you as something you want to say while you’re thinking of it now.
Its okay if you write the same things twice or repeat yourself. You can always just delete one of them later when you review everything you wrote down before you try and have the actual conversation with your family. And its okay if its slow going. Its better to be thorough than to be fast, as long as urgency isn’t a factor, and instead of focusing on not getting as much done as you wanted to get done in a sitting, focus on the fact that you productively made progress, actual steps, closer towards getting you to where you want to be. That’s all that matters, ultimately. Once you reach your end goal and get results you’re happy and satisfied with one way or another, its not going to matter how you went about getting there or how long it took you.
In matters like this, the end goal, the destination, is really what matters most, and so don’t stress so much about what the road getting there looks like, so long as you can keep making steps forward, in whatever amounts and however often you can without wearing yourself out…and eventually, you’ll get there. Momentum isn’t important. Just that you keep going, period, and you keep moving in the right direction.
And as for convincing your family specifically…..obviously there’s specific things about yourself and your ways of thinking that make you suspect you might be ADHD….write down what those are. However works for you without also putting too much unnecessary stress or pressure on yourself, google ADHD symptoms, signs, find official sources online that say things about ADHD that coincide with the things about yourself you think match these specifics. Write down those links or print things out, have them with you when you ask your family to sit down and have a conversation about this.
Prepare ahead of time a list of examples of your own behavior or mannerisms that you feel match up to certain ADHD tendencies. If any of them are things your family probably has noticed about you or seen happen, all the better, because you can point them to something they already have a mental image of, connect that to a source saying this might be a sign of ADHD, and then ideally, link it back to something you’ve thought about that makes clear to them why you feel this is something you need to see addressed, and how you might benefit from getting diagnosed and seeing this addressed one way or another.
The more you can manage to prepare and gather together ahead of time, before you bring this up with them next, the more this is likely IMO to convey how important this conversation is to you and how seriously you’re taking this….and that, more than anything, is what’s likely to make them sit up and take notice, and hopefully get them to match your energy in ways that make you feel like you’re being heard now and they’re taking this and taking you seriously.
And try and keep in mind, if you’re having trouble convincing them to believe you as you said…..don’t jump to assuming the worst at any point if you don’t have to. Don’t assume it means they don’t take you seriously or don’t respect your opinion….remember that your parents and family are human too, and none of us are infallible, and we all have things we have preconceived opinions on. If for some reason your parents are seeming particularly resistant to the idea you might be ADHD….there could be a million different explanations for what’s going on in their heads that’s making them resistant, and its very likely that most of them don’t even have anything to do with you.
They’ve been around a lot longer than you no matter how old you are, lol, which means they have both a lot more experiences and a lot more things influencing them towards whatever beliefs they already have about this subject, before you even bring it up.
If worst comes to worst, it might be worth a try to shift gears and stop trying to convince them to believe you at all. Instead just focus on expressing to them that right or wrong, this is something you feel very strongly about and is very implanted in your head, and if nothing else, getting tested and an official diagnosis could suggest that you may not be ADHD or there might be another explanation for the things that made you suspect that, and being diagnosed in this direction could still be to your benefit, as it might open up more avenues for you to explore.
I don’t think this would be lying to them or misleading to them as long as you’re open….even though you’re convinced you’re right and a diagnosis will bear this out….there’s nothing dishonest about you simply expressing that regardless of whether anyone actually believes you’re right, you strongly believe this is something you need explored, and that’s worth attention in and of itself. As long as you feel supported and safe as you talk this through with them, that suggests that the basic matter of how important this is to you….that’s going to be important to them as well. If they care about the fact that right or wrong, you care very strongly about this….that can be more than enough!
They don’t need to believe you yet themselves, just to believe that it matters to you to see this explored, even if its to have your own belief refuted and given alternative explanations. I know its frustrating to be sure you’re right and can’t get anyone else on board with that - believe me, I do - but just keep in mind your ultimate goals! The successful outcome for you isn’t getting your family to believe you’re right, specifically….its getting your family to believe this is important enough to you to be worth exploring, no matter what the end outcome is. It’ll be frustrating to feel like they might just be humoring you, but as long as that’s still advancing you towards your ultimate goal of getting answers for yourself….you’re still being productive, you’re still getting closer to your goal.
It doesn’t cost you anything but pride to accept that they don’t need to fully believe or agree with you to at least cooperate with you in taking things to where you feel this conversation needs to lead. It might suck, but again, just keep your eye on your ultimate goal and what you feel you stand to gain from that. I think in the longrun, looking back in hindsight, any pride it costs to feel like your parents weren’t totally convinced by you and needed an official diagnosis to concede you’re right……like, that’s still nothing compared to the relief and improvement to your mental health and quality of life that you could potentially get from actual answers to your questions about yourself and why you do or don’t do certain things.
Find your specific goal, focus on what you hope to gain from it, and just….keep your eye on that at all times as you move forward, and don’t sweat the small stuff along the way. In the end, once you get where you wanted to go, its all gonna be small stuff in comparison….you likely won’t even remember the specifics of how you felt at various stages along the way, and even if you do, it won’t matter compared to you feeling good about where you are by then, and how you’ve benefited from reaching that point.
I hope there’s something helpful for your specific situation somewhere in all that, and again, don’t just take my word for it, back up or even challenge anything and everything here with other POVs on this. Explore what makes the most sense to you, what feels the most actionable to you, and what is ultimately the most comfortable for you. And again, above all else, just prioritize feeling as safe and secure and supported as possible through all of this. Don’t underestimate the power of having a family you feel is actually supportive of you. As far as anyone I’ve ever met goes, people generally don’t feel confident about saying their family is supportive unless there’s reasons they actually feel that to be true.
Oh, lots of people might generically express they’re sure their family loves them, just on general principle, like, of course they do, that’s what families do, right?
*Shrugs* Regardless, you said you feel supported by them, and that was your word choice, and in my experience that tends to mean something. You wouldn’t have led with a word that specific if you didn’t have something in mind making you feel that was an accurate one word description of them…..so focus on whatever it is about your family that makes you feel that way, makes you feel that’s true, and just…..remember not to forget that at any point through all of this, even when you’re most frustrated or feel furthest from getting where you want to be.
But don’t underestimate the power of having a family who genuinely just wants what’s best for you - and in that specific context, don’t forget there’s a potential avenue to explore if you decide its enough that you convince them to believe this is really important to you, that you really need their support on THIS specifically, even if just to settle yourself and get peace of mind one way or another. Don’t make it about convincing them you’re right, if that’s not what it actually has to be about, to get the end results you’re most trying to reach. All of that can come later…..just focus on getting them on the same page as you in feeling this is worth exploring.
And btw, apologies if you’re not a minor, which you very well might not be. I figured it was safer just to assume that and approach this question from that specific context. I think all of this applies pretty equally no matter what age you are, I just wanted to make sure I didn’t leave out or overlook any angle that might specifically affect the situation in the case of a minor or a teenager still under legal age.
And again, just to reiterate the most important part of all of this:
I AM NOT AN EXPERT OR AN AUTHORITY. PLEASE DO NOT TREAT MY WORD OR OPINION ON THIS AS BEING EQUIVALENT TO THAT OF AN EXPERT OR PROFESSIONAL ON THESE MATTERS.
I’m just a random older guy on the internet who is glad to be of any help he can, but wants to make sure that you not only stay safe and comfortable as you go about this with the people in your day to day life….but ALSO that nobody gets in the habit of getting too comfortable with just trusting the word of any random tumblr user in terms of specific advice…especially with family matters or matters of health or mental health.
I’m honored you value my words enough to approach me about this and I hope my response treated this with the responsibility it deserves, but please always make a habit of running any advice you get from social media past a couple different sources. And don’t just look for repeats of what’s already been said….look for contrary opinions, challenge what someone told you to see if that knocks any holes in it….and decide what to believe based on what holds up best under the scrutiny YOU apply and YOU believe is more relevant to your situation.
Ultimately its your life, you have to live with wherever any advice you take leads, so the most relevant advice is still always going to be the advice that you personally trust the most….because that’s ultimately the only way you’re going to be able to take comfort with whatever else happens at that point, knowing that you at least did your due diligence, challenged the advice before acting on it, and went with the advice that you felt was strongest or prepared you best.
And I also just want to express to you and any other followers in general…..I do try and be as genuine as possible on here, and I do genuinely just want the best for anyone who sends me an ask like this….but I don’t want to encourage it and also I don’t want to discourage it.
By that I mean, I don’t want to say don’t ask me for personal advice ever…..because if something is weighing on you that you need someone’s opinion on and you honestly can’t think of anyone else you trust more to give you an answer you think will help….then I’d rather you ask me or someone else online than just not ask anyone at all. Because I know for a fact that not everyone does have people in their day to day life that they can trust with sensitive questions, and everyone needs some help or insight or even just a sounding board on occasion. Better you ask someone at all, rather than just shove it down and remain bothered by it, with no outlet.
BUT. BUT BUT BUT.
At the same time, please ALWAYS keep in mind when asking personal advice of a stranger on the internet….no matter how genuine we come across as, we are still ultimately strangers on the internet. That doesn’t necessarily mean the advice you get won’t be helpful or is automatically untrustworthy….it just means….consider whatever advice you get PURELY on its own merits. Look at simply in terms of what was actually said, and how that compares to other things you’ve read and heard, and how it might or might not apply or benefit your situation. Wherever and whenever possible, remove the tumblr user giving the advice from the equation….don’t make them and your overall impression of them relevant to how much weight you give to the advice. Don’t follow advice you ultimately don’t feel comfortable with just BECAUSE its a big name or popular tumblr user who said it.
Treat the advice as if you just found it written on a piece of paper that just appeared on the sidewalk in front of you, with no idea who left it for you or what their intentions in doing so might be…..and just weigh the words themselves. Where the advice you found online came from shouldn’t influence how much weight you give that advice UNLESS it came from someone or somewhere online that you can VERIFY as an ACTUAL expert or authority on the specific subject the advice is intended to address.
If the advice you get is solid, it should be able to stand on its own under scrutiny, regardless of who said it. If the advice seems flimsy or causes doubts for you at ANY point, to ANY degree…..seek additional advice and viewpoints elsewhere. Get a second, third, fourth opinion if need be. Compare and contrast, seek as many viewpoints as you can devote time to looking for.
And above all, guys, please stay safe. Keep in mind that however trustworthy I come across as to you, I’m glad for that, but just as a general habit and good practice (especially the younger you are yourself)….always keep in mind I’m a fair bit older than the average users on here, and that neither makes me an automatic expert or authority on anything, nor should it make me your first choice to discuss sensitive matters with. I would prefer anyone who does feel a need to seek my advice with questions like this….please stay anonymous, keep your privacy secure, and ask your question in ways that the answer will be helpful to you even without me ever knowing who you are. Keep this practice in mind with all adults you interact with on a personal level here.
There’s no reason for me or any tumblr user my age to need to carry on a private conversation with unpublished private asks back and forth on personal matters about your private life, if you’re anywhere under twenty. Not only am I likely not to answer those (because even a follow up anon question that sounds similar is likely to be from the URL I’ve already seen you use), they’d make me personally uncomfortable and set a precedent I don’t want to encourage, and for your own safety, I don’t think its a good idea to get too comfortable interacting with any older adult blogger in privacy, or approaching them privately. Same goes for direct messaging.
Anything like this, I am happy to help if I can and I’ll be honest about not being able to if I can’t….but any advice I can offer in situations like these will be just as relevant as a response to an anon ask published in public, as it would be in private. Just protect yourself and remove all identifying information you don’t feel safe seeing posted publicly even WITH you being anonymous…..and just ask whomever you’re seeking advice from on anon in a way that will help you even if they just answer in more general terms, directed to their blog audience as a whole.
Better safe than sorry, wherever possible. Your safety online is just as paramount as your safety in real life physical spaces. Above all else, always stick to spaces where you feel comfortable and secure, and like you have power and agency to protect yourself and remove yourself from any situation that makes you feel uncomfortable or anxious. Don’t make this a reason to feel you have to stay isolated and afraid to connect with others online at all - definitely not what I’m trying to say. Just….always keep in mind what you do or don’t know about another person, before deciding whether they’re the best person to entrust with various things you might want to tell them. Err on the side of caution.
Seek out peers in your own age group first, and ideally prioritize interacting with them first and foremost. Doesn’t mean you can’t have older friends….just….its okay to have different styles and different levels of friendship with different friends, relative to their different ages. Focus sharing your more age specific life experiences with other friends your own age. Just…all things in moderation, you know? You can certainly value the insight and words and friendship of someone much older than you, but don’t make them the be all and end all of your online social circles is all I’m saying. Have people you feel are at the same stage of life as you and going through the same kinds of things currently, who you can turn to or fall back on when you need to. Its important to keep people in your life that you feel are your clear peers in every way….who you don’t feel intimidated by to any degree because of them being older or more experienced or whatever. The most valuable friendships IMO are going to be the ones that not only can do the most for you, who give you what you’re seeking most in a friend or friendship…..but that at the same time, you have just as much to give them, offer them, in terms of what they’re looking for in a friend or friendship. Don’t ever underestimate the importance…the necessity…of feeling like an equal partner in a relationship rather than a junior partner. Its ideal to feel like you’re contributing as much to their life as you feel they contribute to yours. So you don’t feel dwarfed or overshadowed, and because its important to be aware of our own importance to other people. To feel that reassurance that we matter, we make a difference in someone else’s lives….that they are the richer for our friendship and we offer them something unique to our particular bond that they’re not going to get in the same way from any other friend.
Seek out and prioritize friends that make you feel like you’re worth as much to them as they feel they’re worth to you. And if you maybe feel this doesn’t characterize a friendship you have already, once you look at it in these terms….if this makes you uncomfortable once its in your awareness, that doesn’t mean there’s necessarily something inherently WRONG or BAD about that friendship or that friend….it could just be that you’ve realized that whatever that friendship is like now, maybe its not everything it COULD be. And if it bothers you to be aware of that discrepancy….there’s no reason you can’t try and change that to a dynamic you’re more comfortable with, as long as you make a point to keep their feelings and POV about all this in mind as well.
Anyway, I think I’ve wrung all possible blood out of this stone, lol, so that’s enough from me. Just….I get a lot of asks, but not usually ones as specific to individuals’ lives as this one is. So I don’t have a ton of precedence for this particular scenario, and I’m not saying that as a bad thing at all, anon, just FYI…..I just mean I didn’t want to answer this ask without also addressing the overall scenario and making sure I didn’t overlook or leave anything out.
Again, just one last time - I don’t want to in any way suggest or scare anyone into not seeking out advice or help or even just a conversation when they find themselves in need of help and have no one to turn to in their personal lives. If online acquaintances (I’m not talking online friends, mutuals, etc, those friendships are every bit as real and valid as offline friendships and I include these when I say “personal lives” and am talking about if for whatever reason they can’t help in the way you need either)…then yeah, absolutely reach out to anyone you feel can safely help you or give you a good starting point for actionable advice. I do not mean to encourage people to isolate themselves and NOT build bonds online just because its online.
I just mean….be safe, guys. And just….dot your t’s and cross your i’s, and don’t neglect to treat your personal safety and comfort as an absolute priority at all times. Its not just a matter of physical safety or overall mental health, its a self image thing….no one should fall into the habit of thinking that their safety and personal comfort doesn’t deserve to always be a priority, or that its ever something you should take for granted instead of always maintaining an awareness that the best place and way to challenge yourself, stretch yourself, grow, try new things, learn new things, experience new things….always, always, always comes from first and foremost, starting from a place of being safe and feeling confident in that safety. THEN do all of the rest, from that particular spot and state of mind, with it there as a fallback if stepping out of your comfort zone to any degree starts to make you feel actually unsafe.

The Pub
(Y/n)'s POV
"Come on, you have to come with me. I'll be bored without you and you need a break." You begged.
"You know I can't, besides, if I don't get my work done then I won't finish it before my deadline" She argued.
You couldn't believe it, your friend was freaking out about a project that had a deadline... IN 3 WEEKS. She was always super crazy about getting her work done but this was getting a little irritating and out of hand.
"(Y/b/f/n/n), you need to stop. It's not due for 3 weeks and you will get it done. I can bet you $50 that you will get it done before next weekend if you come and do this with me."
"What if I don't want to risk it? You know I will end up only thinking about work and I won't be any fun. Then you won't get to enjoy your night out."
"I don't care if you end up only thinking about work, as long as you go I will have fun. Now, no more arguing, we need to get dressed and you need to do our makeup. I would do it but it won't be nearly as good as if you do it." You said as you stood up from your bed and walked towards your closet.
"(Y/n)...." (Y/b/f/n) said, dragging out your name just to be dramatic.
You ignored her as you continued looking in your closet for something to wear tonight.
"Even if I go, which I haven't decided yet, I have nothing to wear and I am not wearing pajamas."
"No duh," You said as you walked out with a couple options for both you and (Y/b/f/n). "I refuse to let you look like a bum. Plus, I have a couple dresses that you could wear."
"Nuh-uh. I am not going to wear any of your clothes, I wouldn't be comfortable showing that much skin."
You had to bite your tongue to keep from calling your best friend out and saying she dresses like an old lady. You just felt a little more comfortable with your body than she does and so you would wear SLIGHTLY more revealing clothes than she would.
"(Y/b/f/n), I would never make you wear something slutty, but if you feel uncomfortable with what I pick out you can take one of my tank tops and wear it underneath. Okay?"
"Fine, but you seriously owe me big time."
"I'm fine with that. Now please pick something out while I get dressed." You said as you walked to your bathroom that was across the hall.

(Y/b/f/n)'s POV
Each dress was a little, and by a little I mean A LOT, out of my comfort zone. But I already gave into (Y/n) and I don't feel like being lectured again. I decided to look at the dresses, figuring that I could give them a chance. Each dress was stunning. The silver dress was a little low cut but it had sequins all over it that sparkled brightly in the light. The Navy dress was higher cut but a little shorter, however it was made of breathable fabric and happened to be my favorite color. The red dress was a satin fabric and cut a little lower than the blue but hugged my body in just the right places. I didn't want to admit it, but I loved the way this dress looked on me. I walk over to (Y/n)'s mirror and look at myself. Honestly, I actually look kinda cute and I wouldn't mind being seen in this dress.
"You look absolutely beautiful (Y/b/f/n/n)."
You jumped and turned around at your friend's comment as she walked in, wearing a gold, velvet dress and heels.
Tumblr media
"You need to learn to knock. What if I was naked?"
"Two things; 1) You weren't and 2) This is my room. I have the right to barge in."
"Whatever." You said with a smirk as you turned back around to admire how you looked.
"Is that what you are wearing? Because if not you're going crazy."
"Yeah, I'll wear this. Do you have any shoes I can borrow?"
"Sure," Your friend said as she walked back into her closet, reappearing in seconds with a pair of gold, strappy sandals in her hands. "I know you can't walk in heels let alone be able to dance with me, so here."
"Thanks, how much time do we have until we have to leave?"
"About an hour, I figure it'll give you time to do our makeup and then we can leave. We should have enough time to get drinks before the band starts. Hopefully I can catch the drummer's eye tonight, maybe I can even take-"
"(Y/n), I love you but I don't think I wanna know all that." You say with a giggle.
"Okay, suit yourself," She said as she walked over to her vanity. "Just don't ask to be my maid-of-honor at the wedding."
You just ignored her last comment as you began folding your clothes from the day, putting them on (Y/n)'s dresser. While you did that, (Y/n) began putting on foundation and concealer.
"What do you want me to do for your makeup. Are we thinking a cut crease? Smoky? Solid? Glitter?" You asked, even though you knew she wouldn't care.
"I'm thinking maybe a Smoky eye look. But as long as you can do what you do best and make me look good, I don't care."
"Alright, head back," you said as you grabbed one of her makeup brushes and began coating it with a light brown eyeshadow. "Do you plan on telling me anything about this drummer yet or do I have to hear about it after your wedding?"
"Don't be silly. Even if I ever got mad at you, you will always be my maid-of-honor. Now, the real tea. He is the drummer of Smile, tall, blonde, muscular, and a certified player. Don't get me wrong, I know that he doesn't really have a good reputation but-"
You couldn't pay attention after then first few sentences, you got lost in thought about what you were going to do about your assignment from work. But you couldn't play it off too well because in seconds you hear,
"EARTH TO (Y/b/f/n)!!! Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Why do you ask?"
"Don't even think about lying to me, woman. I know you inside and out and it's obvious that something is bugging you. What's wrong?" The mother-figure in your friend came out and you couldn't help but sigh at how true her last statement was.
"Fine....I can't stop thinking about work and what's going to happen if I don't get this project done in time. What if I forget about it tonight and get fired for not doing it? What if I-"
"You better stop right there. Back it up. Come back to reality. We just had this conversation honey. You are going to be fine. It's not like I'm asking you to give up on work forever, I am only asking you to hang out with me for tonight. I promise you that you will get it done."
"Okay," You say with a sigh. "You know, I hate when you're right."
"So you hate me all the time?" She asked.
"Obviously"
She gasped dramaticly and commented, "How rude!!"
You couldn't hold your laughter in anymore so you burst out laughing. (Y/n) tries to keep a straight face but she ended up laughing with you after a couple of seconds. As you guys kept talking and gossiping about (Y/n)'s most recent ex, your guys' makeup eventually got finished and you headed out to catch a taxi to the pub where Smile was playing.
~Time Skip To Before Band Starts Playing~
(Y/n)'s POV
"Can I please get a Whiskey Sour?" I asked.
"And may I get a........Cherry Coke?"
The bartender walked away to get your drinks and you turned to (Y/b/f/n).
"What was with the Cherry Coke? You feeling risky tonight?"
"Actually, yeah. Since I'm going to be out and about, I figured, why not step a little out of my comfort zone. Ya know?"
You had to try your hardest not to laugh at her. Instead you settled for a nod and a shake of your head. You and (Y/b/f/n) kept chatting and nursing your drinks until the lights lowered and four men climbed onstage. One guy had big, brown curly hair and an electric guitar in hand. Another had light brown, wavy long hair and carried a bass. The lead singer went up front with shoulder length black hair and big teeth. Then the drummer went on back to his drum set and scanned the crowd as he sat down on his stool. When his eyes met yours, he sent you a wink and a smile that could melt you on the spot. But you weren't going to be that easy. You knew he was going to try and find you after by the look on his face when you sent him a smirk. This is going to be a fun night.
