Love is in the air for Captain Sandy Yawn!

The Below Deck Mediterranean boss has revealed she is dating gospel singer and skin aesthetician Leah Shafer.

Yawn, 54, confirmed her happy news on her Twitter, by sharing her interview with The Cheat Sheet and writing “Love is Love!” and “So Happy!” in two separate tweets.

Opening up about their “unexpected” romance, Yawn said the couple first met on Facebook in June 2018 after Shafer, 45, reached out and congratulated her on the Bravo reality series.

“She sent me a nice message that said, ‘I came across your show, congratulations, many blessings,'” Yawn told the outlet, adding that her note’s inclusion of “many blessings” particularly attracted her as a spiritual person to the Denver-based skin coach.

After getting to know each other on the social networking platform, the pair finally met in person in Los Angeles, where Shafer explained the sparks between them really began to fly.

“It was like a spiritual connection in the beginning,” Shafer continued. “She has a passion for inspiring through music and the youth. And broken people and so do I coming from the gospel industry. That’s what brought us together.”

Before Yawn, Shafer was married for 20 years to Ross Shafer, with whom she shares a 13-year-old daughter, Lauren “Lolo” Rae, according to her personal website.

Yawn, meanwhile, has previously been open about having a tough time finding love while she was away at sea filming Below Deck.

As for what type of partner she was looking for, Yawn said she hoped to find someone who embraced life and enjoyed music.

“I want someone who wakes up happy, just is happy to be alive. Like, that’s how I wake up every day of my life — and yes, when there’s something going on in your life, of course you don’t wake up happy,” she explained.

“But the majority of the time, someone who wants to live, wants to experience, wants to travel, wants to try different restaurants, wants to go see shows,” Yawn continued. “And I love music. Someone who loves concerts because I am a concertgoer.”

My internet connectivity is absolute crap. It times out. It stops. It just goes dead for very long periods.

That's why I write my blog reporting entries offline, then make sure its saved. Then when perhaps I get a minor stable connection, I can try to quickly post it up whilst hoping that the connection last THAT long.

Weekends are a hit and a miss for connectivity andor reliability.

Sometimes the stable internet connection does NOT last that long. And even though I HAVE posted it, it hasn't 'taken' on the server and is just evaporates totally away. That's happened before believe me many many times.

It's SO BAD that now connectivity can be WORSE than it was more than 20 years ago and more back then with dialup modems where connections were always on a wing and a prayer.

And nothing to do with the internet but my prayers don't get answered with anything in my life. I'm proof of that. I suffer.

If anyone wonders why much of my typing has seemingly bizarre errors in it, it's because I'm a slow, innacurate typer, I am FOREVER tired and exhausted, and coupled with all that is that I still have a badly damaged thumb of my hand that has been accidently crushed (twice) in a vehicle boot on two seperate occasions. (think of having your own finger caught in a car door that has been slammed shut....TWICE). - All that's in my blog and explained and has photos I took to prove to the undoubter.

It's extremely slowly 'healing', but is wrapped up all the time to protect it from infection. Even without the wrapping up, I've lost tactile feeling in that hand, and hence a lot more typing mistakes that are 'inexplainable'. - Now you know.

I'm constantly now accidently dropping things when they are held in that hand.

But at least now I'm not (which I DID have for many months) leaving trails of blood everywhere and upon everything. A pitiful consolation.

Friday 18m 2017:---

I woke up and got up around 7:15am. It was cool-cold inside this hovel.

I fed Sam & Max, then took them outside for their ablutions and watched over them. We came back inside.

I wondered what perhaps I would see this day around this hellhole so I kept an eye out as I try to do for my own safety and for others as well, as I was doing other things.

Strangely, I glimpsed a woman who walked out of the aboriginal CRIMINAL HOUSEHOLD with a sheet of paper in her hand and she walked to the school across the road.

Shortly afterwards other morning events followed in quick sucession....aboriginal male adults went walking out of the criminal pedestrian walkway and walked along and went to the shops direction. But they very quickly would come back with no goods in their empty hands.

At 7:50am, a Police station wagon (with lockable back) came and parked at the corner household outside their front door. The Police went in there. (operational vehicle number GE107)

Then, at 7:55am, ANOTHER Police vehicle (a utility with a lockable back) that came slowly along the roads and then parked at the corner household just across from the first one. I saw a policewoman (at least) get out of that vehicle and go into that corner household. (operational vehicle number GE117)

At 8:05, GE117 left, drove slowly down the road and paused for around 45 seconds at the intersection with Clayton Street. (From that vantage point they can see across streets and surrounding areas.) Then it drove away, not further into this hellhole suburb. Or perhaps it just merely went and drove through Bellevue suburb which is right next door?

GE107 is still parked at the corner household.

At 8:11am....GE114 vehicle returns and parks on the street right next to GE117. The small width road is effectively completely blocked to all traffic.

At 8:13am....GE114 drives away.

Ay 8:15....I spotted a barefoot aboriginal kid come from the direction of the shops area and goes into the aboriginal CRIMINAL HOUSEHOLD. Within monments, he reappears and with him are two aboriginal male young men. One adult wears a baseball cap, the other adult has his a dark jacket hood over his head, yet it is not cold in temperature at all. They cast furtive glances at the Police vehicles but make a solid point NOT to look at them there.

At 8:17, GE114 drives away, down the street, past the aboriginal CRIMINAL HOUSEHOLD and away.

At 8:21am, a dog is 'intruder barking' in the street. I saw 4 male aboriginal figures standing in the middle of that street very quietly talking to each other, 3 were adult males, the other was that young barefoot aboriginal kid. They were standing in the middle ON the road near to the shops area and they were actively looking down along the road to the remaining Police vehicle parked. - One adult aboriginal leaves them and walks back towards the shops area, the others begin walking on the roads to the aboriginal CRIMINAL HOUSEHOLD.

The adults began walking on the road whilst the aboriginal kid runs and goes straight through a huge opening of the smashed wooden picket fence and he is lost from sight there. It certainly appeared as though he had been instructed to do that by the others in that street meeting, (for reasons unknown).

The other aborigials have by now gone into the aboriginal CRIMINAL HOUSEHOLD.

At 8:24am, the barefoot kid reappears and literally runs down and to the aboriginal CRIMINAL HOUSEHOLD. As he arrives there, that big pure black coloured mastiff unleashed dog (it has no markings, and has no collar), it comes out onto the verge and then follows him back inside there.

You see all that above? -- That is what goes on around here and with Police. Things happen but you never know what has been happening. If you ask Police they will tell you nothing, or they will tell you generic reasons.

But I indeed welcome the Police presence.

And you can also see how just the presence of Police in the area is like shoving a stick into a aboriginal ants nest, they all start coming and spreading out, especially from the aboriginal CRIMINAL HOUSEHOLD. And they keep themselves from being easily identified.

And they are giving the illusion they are acting 'reponsibly'.......

But there has been other aboriginals about this early morning along as well, adults skulking along from Bellevue (and ?) who walked out of the criminals pedestrian walkway but looked seemingly uninterested in the actual Police vehicles parked there, but which they had to walk past.

The kid from the corner house where the Police has visited, this time (unlike yesterday), he walked away and with his backpack on his back, he went to school, or at least in the correct direction to school. He was alone. He met nobody.

8:42am----2 small aboriginal kids, 1 boy and 1 girl, both carrying backpacks, they sullenly walked out of the aboriginal CRIMINAL HOUSHEOLD and down and to the school across the road nearby. -- That is highly unusual, that they are going to school at all. I suspect the Police being seen about has triggered that event in the criminal ABORIGINAL HOUSEHOLD.
