working on foundations of decay after…a long time bc everything i’ve posted so far has been pre-written like. months ago. def before my lil writers block episode.

and it’s—interesting, really. reminds me why i love fanfiction so much. it’s the endless possibilities. i can do whatever with my characters, manipulate the situation to my fancy and…that’s okay? it’s in my control?

writing only one shots definitely makes u forget that lil fact tbh there’s just not enough time & space

#i think i need a tag for this one lol #anyway. i’m just. having fun with tis?#i’ve realised i really love worldbuilding #it’s so pointless bc almost everything is OOC and/or fanon #but it’s just. so interesting at the same time. fun.#and like—FoD was supposed to be a harry & sirius bonding fic lol #but then it just snowballed into all this #and i looked over my notes and outlines and stuff #and i put So Much thought into this???#and sirius def doesn’t come in until like. chapter 5 or 6. minimum #and idk where i’m going w this #but i’m just glad that i’m able to write for it again #bc im so so excited to get to the later parts!!!#what i’ve got written already—around 25k words—is stuff i reread all the time hehe #and i want others to as well #but also just. ultimately it is self indulgence ykno?#and that tag makes it much better and low stress tbh #also hoping this’ll motivate me to work on my prongsfoot MC hehehe #i reread it today. it’s only 2k words but i love the vibe sm #that i have acrisp WIPs rn (3!!!!) is so. mind boggling to me #actual*#fic: Foundations of Decay #pen’s writing
