the photos of them at the tour and demi actively leaning in to lotte (i’ve also noticed that lotte tends to universally do the little hand around waist thing for everyone but demi likes to put her arm around lotte’s shoulder? maybe i’m not looking close enough at others but it seems like demi is pretty comfortable w casual physical intimacy in a way that lotte might not be at least in front of cameras) ?? also that photoshoot, demi sort of naturally positions herself closer to lotte than others— looking at the rest of the shoot it seems like she’s just naturally more like that with most people but knowing that THEN looking at romandie. shit went downn but we all knew this 😔😔

Is it too early for this? Maybe. Am I caring? Not at all! Seeing as I’ve only done one of these for Flora, I figured it’s time to do these for my other two muses; starting off with Stella since she’ll be the easier to explain! So this is a relationship call! This little star is quite friendly towards everyone she meets, and we’re both quite curious of what others would think of her and how they choose their relationships with her! If you’re interested in discussing potential ideas for relationships, feel free to go ahead and give this a like! I would say that I would IM you on this account, but I’ll actually be heading into the caravan for a couple of nights in two days’ time for me, so I might end up IMing you on Flora’s account instead since she’s logged in on my phone! ( applesmiled for those of you that aren’t aware ). I’d also be open to discussing this on Discord or Twitter! But for now, let’s go ahead and go through the different categories for relationships with Stella!;
Friends; Obviously, this is the easiest option in terms of relationship! To get to this point, our muses have to have found some way of communicating such as writing or even having Stella talk to them if your muse is of obvious non-human origin. Communication means a lot to this star and as fun as it is to gesture, it isn’t all that good if people can’t understand her! Showing some understanding towards her shows her that she can trust you, and will be more than happy to discuss most topics with you! Stella is naturally quite a physically-affectionate person, so she might show this occasionally. Don’t worry, she’ll stop if it’s clear that your muse doesn’t like it! Being friends with Stella means you’re one of the first people she’ll go to if she’s confused about something or there’s something that’s gained her interest and wants to share with someone! Stella would also be willing to talk, and even explain, a little bit about her background and how she came to be. And you’ll also get the pleasure of receiving little trinkets that she finds interesting!
Close Friends; Almost the same as friends, except this time, Stella is extremely trusting towards you. So much more trusting that you’re automatically the first group of people she talks to about anything that concerns her; whether it be about another person or something that this island has done. She’ll also be more willing to go into greater explanation about things that she had written in her journal back at home such as facts, names of her previous caretakers and her experience on Earth or in space. If your muse has openly or begun to accept Stella’s affection, they’ll find themselves receiving more of it! However, if your muse is still not liking it too much, then Stella will still make sure to keep it on the lower end. She doesn’t want anyone feeling uncomfortable around her! Oh, and you’re also more prone to her inviting you to places. And more meaningful gifts too!
Caretaker(s) / Family; As most of us know, Stella has always had a caretaker with her during her time on Earth. While she is certainly older than a majority of people, that doesn’t mean that she’s all-knowing! In fact, most of her current knowledge was obtained with the help of her caretakers! So to any adults that find themselves treating Stella like a daughter or helping her with gaps in her knowledge, you might find yourself in the role of caretaker! It’s also possible for this category to have the extension of family added onto it, as this group of people is a lot more closer to Stella than the previously mentioned groups. These are people that Stella doesn’t hesitate to show her honesty with and would be more than willing to protect if something bad happened to them. They’d become a topic for discussion with her as well as a person of comfort if she finds herself getting overwhelmed. They also get to be added to the list of caretakers she can remember from the top of her head! As soon as she gets her journal back, they get to join the written list too... and Stella would even trust them with her journal instead of just holding and showing them specific things!
Crush(es) / Romantic Partner; Now this section, a little like Flora’s, is one of the only sections I’m going to be picking about. Obviously, since Stella is an adult, I’ll only be shipping her with other adult muses! And this is where we get much more picky than Flora’s section; as of this current time, Stella is more inclined to gain feelings for someone of non-human origins. Stella has spent more than enough time on Earth to know that human life is fragile, and this has left a lasting impression on her as she has had to watch / wake up from several centuries of sleep to find her caretakers and friends dead. But that doesn’t mean that it’s impossible for her to fall for a human too! It’s a little more difficult for her as she doesn’t want to associate those feelings with such fragile life, but with some serious discussion between the two muses, she could let it happen to see how it goes. For both possibilities, our muses will need to interact in some way and show some positive chemistry, as well as the muns out of character through tags or IMs! Stella is demi-romantic, which means it’s only an emotional connection she needs before she falls for someone, so gender doesn’t matter to her! Crushes may not be as picky, as they can just be innocent and don’t actually need to go anywhere! They could even just be Stella mistaking admiration for love! You’re welcome to try for either or both of them if you choose!
Acquaintances; Admittedly a hard category for your muse to get into, seeing how friendly Stella is, but it could happen! This might be because your muse always seemed too busy and Stella didn’t want to disturb them or maybe Stella was preoccupied with something! Either way, the two probably cross each other’s paths every now and again and maybe give nothing more than a wave or a smile. If Stella has seen your muse busy several times, chances are likely she won’t bother striking “conversation” in case she happens to be interrupting something, so this is the only section where your muse would need to engage “conversation”! From this section, you can also move to another section if our muses get along better / worse than we thought!
Enemies; Oh dear... what did you do to deserve a star’s hate? As much as Stella doesn’t like to hate people, there has to be a line for where her kindness ends, and your muse has crossed that line. Either they completely rejected her kindness or acted mean to her from the start, but Stella doesn’t like your muse from obvious reasons. Yet for some reason, she’ll still be willing to strike up “conversation” with your muse. The moment the conversation begins to take a turn for the worse, she’ll either get confrontational if they have gotten to a point where she’s speaking to them vocally or simply walk away. That is the more passive way to be an enemy to Stella, but if you choose to harm her or one of her friends or loved ones, then she won’t hesitate to protect them and potentially attack you if you show no sign of stopping. And, obviously, she won’t be as kind. But she’ll still try and show some of it! In case she happens to get through to you...
Other; Now relationship ideas can get more complex than just these! If you have an idea for what kind of relationship you want between our muses, then we can simply go ahead and discuss it! It might require a little more discussion / interaction if it’s complex just to make sure that we both understand what it is / what we’re wanting from it, and could help us develop it even further than just the general idea!

Character Solidifying for Ko
long post sorry!!!
1. How does your character think of their father? What do they hate and love about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did the father have?
O god. Well, he sees Aengus as a father figure, and he’s been devoted to him for seven years. He loves every aspect of him, but now, he’s confused and scared that of the viewpoint that Aengus fostered in Ko. Because he has a very real influence over Ko and how he views mortals, a black-and-white thinking that vilifies almost everyone.
2. Their mother? How do they think of her? What do they hate? Love? What influence - literal or imagined - did the mother have?
Hermione was his foster mother, but when she was alive he refused to think of her that way, spending most of their time together as her apprentice. He hated how protective she was, but understood it. He loved her intelligence, her compassion, her desire for a better world. Any part of Ko that is good and worth saving is tied to her influence.
3. Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their siblings?
He was raised alone.
4. What type of discipline was your character subjected to at home? Strict? Lenient?
Hermione was a firm teacher and forgiving mother, but she was strict about keeping Ko safe from outside influences. He was a serene and serious child, there was rarely even a need for discipline.
5. Were they overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
Definitely, definitely. But for good reason, as Ko’s parents abandoned him as a sacrifice... and still live in the Denten Forest.
6. Did they feel rejection or affection as a child?
Great affection.
7. What was the economic status of their family?
They weren’t wealthy, but their home was comfortable and they made everything they needed by healing the sick of the nearby villages.
8. How does your character feel about religion?
He’s devoted to Aengus, but doesn’t see it as worship of a god. I think it would make him uncomfortable to actually be in a god-worshipper relationship with anyone.
9. What about political beliefs?
He absolutely hates the New Initiative of Jashtall, for massacring the angels and abusing the artifacts. He’s also suspicious of all organized governments, as his inherent disbelief in mortal goodness makes him
10. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
Incredibly intelligent and book smart, “street” smart in terms of survival in nature and knowledge of nature.
11. How do they see themselves: as smart, as intelligent, uneducated?
He sees himself as intelligent, moreso than almost anyone they’ve ever met.
12. How does their education and intelligence – or lack thereof - reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciations?
He has a wide vocabulary, but I think what shows most is his careful and slow speech.
13. Did they like school? Teachers? Schoolmates?
He lived his life as an apprentice, constantly learning, and he loved it. He loved Hermione, of course, and had no peers.
14. Were they involved at school? Sports? Clubs? Debate? Were they unconnected?
Not applicable.
15. Did they graduate? High-School? College? Do they have a PHD? A GED?
Not really applicable, but in a way, no. Hermione died long before he would have seen his apprenticeship as complete.
16. What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like about it? Dislike?
He was an herbalist/surgeon/doctor for those who came to him. He loved the work, but only for itself. He loved knowing how to craft cures, he loved experimenting with different mixtures, and he loved the moments of work where all he did was fix the body. However, he hated the people he was helping to heal. Most of them were vicious and cruel, and those that weren’t were sad, pathetic.
17. Did they travel? Where? Why? When?
He’s travelling now, throughout the eastern side of the continent. He’d wanted to leave his routine for some time, and when he received an invitation to leave he jumped at the opportunity. He tells himself he’s seeking a universal truth, something like Beauty, but it ultimately comes down to wanting to understand existence.
18. What did they find abroad, and what did they remember?
He’s found quite a lot, but I’d say the most notable is peer relationships. Seeing people as equals is the most surprising part of this mission for him.
19. What were your character’s deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
He’s had several big shifts. When he was seven, he found out Hermione wasn’t his biological mother, which definitely changed him. Growing up with the abuse of those they healed, and having that validated by Aengus’s informational viewpoint, lead to his great disillusionment in the worth of mortals as a whole. Very recently, he became disillusioned in Aengus himself, and is now greatly confused.
20. What were the most deeply impressive political or social, national or international, events that they experienced?
He was present for the terrorist attack on the Khajitani capital and the assassination of their leader. He was also present for a ball held by the Jashtallian government, which ended in a falsified terrorist attack.
21. What are your character’s manners like? What is their type of hero? Whom do they hate?
Ko is very.. mannered. Careful in his movements and words. He tries hard to appear capable and serene, but comes across as unsettling and distant to his peers. To strangers, he is often affable, flattering, and intriguing, which in-game has lead to him being a surprisingly seductive character. He idolizes those that seek knowledge, those that are intelligent and perceptive, those that are kind and compassionate. He hates most people, unable to see their good qualities past his immediate assumption that they are rotten.
22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?
He has very few friends; Aengus, who is an abuser and a manipulator; I, who is everything Ko admires and therefore terrifies him; S, who he has a genuine connection with and who he finds consistently endearing; and possibly Lumley, after her gift to him of his own Sanctuary. His love interests are.. varied. An angel he met once, who likely doesn’t remember him; Itho, who had a mutual attraction with him and a mutual intrigue but was left behind; M, who reminds him of Aengus and thinks he has feelings for; and S, who he actually has feelings for but doesn’t recognize them. His type is mysterious, intriguing, intelligent, the kind of person that sees communication as a game to be won.
23. What do they want from a partner? What do they think and feel of sex?
He doesn’t know it, but he wants an equal, who seeks knowledge with him, sharing and engaging in the secrets of the world. He wants someone who wants to build a home with him, that would care for him and respect him, who he could care for as well without reservation. He’s demi as hell and a virgin but he’s intrigued by the concept and was attracted to Itho, so he might be interested? I feel like it would be ultimately something he’d enjoy but could take it or leave it.
24. What social groups and activities does your character attend? What role do they like to play? What role do they actually play, usually?
Does a group of spies on a political mission count? Either way, when they act as a unit, he is the communicator and the observer. He messed up by over-engaging in the last mission, but he’s learned his lesson. He would like to be more involved, preferably chatting someone up and draining information from them, but Rowan has fit into that role well already.
25. What are their hobbies and interests?
In his voice: “I have always loved research. I feel driven by a need to learn, and understand this world. So I fill much of my time learning what I can. In recent days, this tends to take the form of observing my party members. This group is far more complex, and every conversation I have gives me more nuance to unpack. I enjoy working with my hands as well, creating potions and the like. And, I enjoy long walks, especially in the Denten Forest. It was peaceful to be alone with nature in that way.”
26. What does your character’s home look like? Personal taste? Clothing? Hair? Appearance?
His cottage in the Denten was very humble. There was a large main room, with a kitchen, a crafting table, a living space, and a desk. Then there were two small bedrooms and a storage closet. It was.. very rustic, and very clearly the home of two devoted herbalists. His personal taste has always been practicality first -- drapey and sturdy brown clothing, heavily layered; hair kept short and unstyled; a lot of effort in earlier years put into his appearance, but a natural style now.
27. How do they relate to their appearance? How do they wear their clothing? Style? Quality?
He is very careful about presenting his gender, and so now that he appears masculine, he feels very fortunate. He’s naturally attractive, if in an unsettling way. He always wears layers, but has recently shifted from a mori style to one more polished and luxurious. He now wears all blue and silver clothing, matching up with his natural coloring, but sticks to the practicality of drapey layers and sturdy materials.
28. Who is your character’s mate? How do they relate to him or her? How did they make their choice?
He is very single.
29. What is your character’s weaknesses? Hubris? Pride? Controlling?
All of the above and then some. His black-and-white thinking, his possessiveness, his envy, his jealousy, his cruelty, his lack of respect for mortal life... He has a lot of work to do.
30. Are they holding on to something in the past? Can he or she forgive?
He’s holding on to the death of Hermione. He still can’t forgive himself for letting her die, still thinking there was something he could have done to save her.
31. Does your character have children? How do they feel about their parental role? About the children? How do the children relate?
He does not have children.
32. How does your character react to stress situations? Defensively? Aggressively? Evasively?
I learned this recently, but definitely evasive. He feels the strong need to withdraw when overwhelmed, and to repress the stress response with a distraction.
33. Do they drink? Take drugs? What about their health?
He’s had.. one drink? But went overboard then. He takes drugs in a medicinal way, and is very healthy.
34. Does your character feel self-righteous? Revengeful? Contemptuous?
He is.. so self-righteous. So contemptuous. He really has a low view of everyone he meets. This may be changing, but slowly.
35. Do they always rationalize errors? How do they accept disasters and failures?
He’s very serene when it comes to mistakes, adopting an “it is what it is” philosophy. His view of himself is so high he’s sure that the mistake is an anomaly.
36. Do they like to suffer? Like to see other people suffering?
I think deep down he really hates suffering, and craves comfort. When particularly vindictive, he likes to cause suffering, but he sees it as a deserved punishment.
37. How is your character’s imagination? Daydreaming a lot? Worried most of the time? Living in memories?
He has a vivid imagination, and his ability for abstract thought is partially what makes him such a good herbalist -- he can conceptualize new uses and is very innovative. But he’s too goal-oriented to live in his head.
38. Are they basically negative when facing new things? Suspicious? Hostile? Scared? Enthusiastic?
Very negative, but also incredibly excited. He wants to learn as much about it as possible, especially if it’s a new person or an interaction he doesn’t understand.
39. What do they like to ridicule? What do they find stupid?
He isn’t one for ridicule, but he looks down on blind emotionality and unfounded suspicions. His original view of Lumley was very poor as he saw her as weak, dependent on someone who didn’t care for her, and hostile in rejecting blatant truths. Honeyclaw’s recklessness and confidence also seemed stupid to him.
40. How is their sense of humor? Do they have one?
He definitely had one as a kid, a cheery irony and a mischievous streak. He appreciates humor in others, but couldn’t crack a joke to save his life.
41. Is your character aware of who they are? Strengths? Weaknesses? Idiosyncrasies? Capable of self-irony?
He is so incredibly blind to his self, it’s the most upsetting aspect of playing him.
42. What does your character want most? What do they need really badly, compulsively? What are they willing to do, to sacrifice, to obtain?
Information. An Answer. Vindication. Validation. Understanding. Beauty. He is caught on the knowledge that he was abandoned, a sacrifice that wasn’t finished, and it so deeply broke him that he needs to find a way to be okay with this world. He would do anything, except hurt those he cared for, and that is both a new feeling and one he isn’t even sure of.
43. Does your character have any secrets? If so, are they holding them back?
He has a few, but all cards are basically on the table after Aengus’s last visit. I think his greatest secret is his complete disregard for other people, which he really tries to hide.
44. How badly do they want to obtain their life objectives? How do they pursue them?
It’s overwhelming how much he wants, he’s like a black hole. But he’s putting the mission first, which he’s okay with as it is continually supplying him with new information.
45. Is your character pragmatic? Think first? Responsible? All action? A visionary? Passionate? Quixotic?
He’s very pragmatic, a look before you leap and look again, like really look to make sure kind of person. Which I’m bad at playing, and so I often do him a disservice by not thinking of his cautious analytic mind.
46. Is your character tall? Short? What about size? Weight? Posture? How do they feel about their physical body?
He’s pretty short, around 5′4″, and slight as well. In addition to this, he has a bit of a slump both from that trans!masc posture and from bending over notebooks. He still feels alright, because he presents the way he wants, and he’s attractive enough to quell insecurities.
47. Do they want to project an image of a younger, older, more important person? Does they want to be visible or invisible?
He wants to be seen as older, to have the gravitas Aengus carries with him, but he also wants to remain invisible. He is very still most of the time, going unnoticed in order to better observe.
48. How are your character’s gestures? Vigorous? Weak? Controlled? Compulsive? Energetic? Sluggish?
He is very, very controlled. Like I said, he remains still and has a placid, serene expression most of the time, so his movements are always deliberate.
49. What about voice? Pitch? Strength? Tempo and rhythm of speech? Pronunciation? Accent?
His voice is low and as deliberate as his movements, taking care with his words and his clear pronunciations. He often speaks somewhat slowly. When emotional in any way, his voice is higher pitched and raspier, which is his real voice.
50. What are the prevailing facial expressions? Sour? Cheerful? Dominating?
Serene, hooded eyes that make him look a little sleepy, slight smile. Nonthreatening to the casual observing but ultimately upsetting if noticed for a long period of time. However, when switching into a false personality to interact, he is charming and seductive, emotional and inviting, with a charismatic warmth.
