Also, just to say this because I haven’t seen anyone else do it—
Max having that dumb patriotic ass music play whenever he leaves is one of the most unsettling things he could do. Like seriously, whenever he unveiled the belt and the flag and it was just all his face and that music played it felt so dystopian and uncanny that it was genuinely unsettling
and tonight whenever he came out there and said that he was going to literally break Kyle in front of Will, only for him to raise that belt up and that fucking song to play?
genuinely uncomfortable. I think this is just my American trauma response to that music but please someone else say they understand what I’m talking about.

Like A Prayer (Part One)
Tumblr media
summary: best friends with wade you’re always being dragged into something even when he’s not trying to, what are you to do when you find the fate of your timeline in the hands of yourself, your chaotic merc and an angry wolverine who’s hellbent on drinking himself to death?
content warning: romance, some angst, a little fluff, character deaths, canon-typical violence, smut, lots of cussing, mutual pining, found family, drug and alcohol use, reader insert but with no use of y/n cuz I hate that shit, deadpool being deadpool, mentions of poor mental health (depression anxiety and ptsd mostly), scent marking, the honda odyssey scene needs a warning all on its own MINORS DNI
a/n: lots of wade in this one but no wolverine just yet!

Not Ok
Flashes of images invaded your mind. You were in a tank, arms restrained to your sides as the oxygen was slowly sucked out of the chamber, suffocating you. Your nails digging into the leather cushioning beneath you as you try to claw your way out.
Now you were strapped to a table, an array of needles embedded into your arms and legs as you were injected painfully with all kinds of different things you weren’t even sure of.
You startled awake before the sound of your alarm had a chance to rouse you from your sleep. Groggily you run a shaky hand over your face before rolling over to grab your phone checking the time. You still had about 3 hours before it was time to get up and get ready for work. Knowing you most likely weren’t going to go back to sleep, not that you wanted to anyways, you toss the covers off of you and head to the bathroom.
You turn the water of the shower on, waiting for it to heat up as you stand back up you catch a glimpse of yourself in the bathroom mirror, taking in your disheveled appearance you sigh as you lean over the sink.
There’s visible dark circles under your eyes from being torn from sleep countless times over the last few months. You were sure why the nightmares had started back up again, it had been years since you had been freed from the Weapon X program so why was it all coming back now?
Pulling your tank top over your head you quickly undressed and hopped into the shower. The water cascaded over you, the warmth a welcome relief. You closed your eyes, as you felt your tired muscles slowly start to relax under the soothing spray. Lathering up your soap on a loofa you quickly washed and dried yourself putting on ample amounts of makeup to hide your dark circles.
Once dressed you sat down at your little table in the kitchen and helped yourself to a bowl of cereal as you checked your phone again.
So much shit was happening in the world, genocides, corrupt politicians running for power, starving children. It was all you saw anytime you opened up anything and it was all too much. The world was going to complete shit
You lock your phone and check the time, you still had about an hour before work. Slipping on your shoes you grab your keys and your bag and head out the door nearly bumping into Wade who was munching on a bagel in the hallway.
“Jesus fuck Wade!” You said placing a hand over your rapidly beating heart. “You scared the shit outta me!”
“My bad pookie bear. Didn’t know you worked today.” He said with a shrug adjusting his wig as he did so.
“Almost every day this week.” You said with a sigh rubbing a hand down your tired face. You had been doing that a lot lately. “God I’m so tired.”
“I hear OnlyFans is really popping off right now.”Wade said but it was hard to tell if he was joking or not with his straight face.
“Yeah? So what, you and Vanessa can be my only subscribers?” You snorted with an exaggerated laugh.
“I know for a fact Colossus would pay top dollar for a sneak peak of your toes!”
The sound of your ex's name made you grimace. Not that you had any ill will towards him, you were both still good friends albeit a bit awkward now that you’ve dated for a short time, but you still didn’t want the thought of him anyway near anything sexual you did.
“Hard pass.”
“Suit yourself.” Wade said taking another bite from his bagel and you two walked down the hall together.
You start to rub at your forehead as you felt a headache coming on as you walked, another occurrence that had started to happen more and more often.
“More nightmares?” Wade asks, his voice laced with concern as he watched you.
“Yeah…but don’t worry about it Wade.” You could handle yourself, a few ibuprofen and you’d be fine.
He calls your name, as if to say it’s too late not to be worried about you, but you wave him off as you dig around in your backpack for a second before pulling out a small black envelope.
“Happy birthday by the way! You’re hard as fuck to shop for so I hope you like it.” You smile at him as you hold out the gift hoping to change the subject.
With an exaggerated gasp Wade tosses his bagel behind him and holds up his hands up in surprise before taking the envelope from you, and ripping it open. Inside were two tickets to a Celine Dion concert, one of his favorite artists.
“Oh my-!” He starts with a gasp “I didn’t even know she was touring!” He cried excitedly as he pulled you into a tight hug.
“Yeah I had to basically stalk Ticketmaster for those so you’re welcome.” You said returning the hug.
“Sugar booger! I love it!” He said releasing you.
“Now you just gotta figure out who to take with you.” You said as you bump shoulders with him. “Maybe Peter….oooor I don’t know maybe a certain someone we all know and love who works at a particular strip club that we like to visit on occasion?”
“Peanut…” Wade warned, you held up your hands in surrender. It was like a kid trying to get their divorced parents back together.
“Look, all I’m saying is it wouldn’t hurt to ask her.”
“I’ll think about it.” He says quietly as he stares out deep in thought.
With that the two of you part ways, wishing each other a good day at work, Wade heading for his bike where Peter was waiting and waving at you, and you heading toward the bus stop.
Work at the pet shop was the same as always, mundane and mind numbing but it paid the rent so who were you to complain about it. You had your fair share of zooted teens coming in to ask dumbass questions and waste your time as well as the occasional fish snob who complained about the size of your tanks but all of that was typical of a normal day and honestly made it go by quicker. By the time you realized what time it was it was time to clock out and head on home to help set up for Wade’s surprise party.
Once home you dropped off your bag and changed your clothes putting on a loose fitted t-shirt and jeans with a cardigan before heading over to Wade’s place with a bunch of drinks. You didn’t drink much but everytime Wade went out on a “business trip”, as he called them, back in his Deadpool days he’d bring you back a bottle of something.
Inside Wade and Blind Al’s apartment across the hall, many of your mutual friends were already busy at work setting up for the party. Colossus Ellie and Yukio were busy blowing up balloons and decorating while Dopinder Buck and Vanessa were busy setting up the food spread.
Looking around yourself you felt a small smile tug at the corner of your lips, all around you were the people you and Wade loved the most and you were incredibly lucky to have them in your lives after everything you all had been through over the years. A pang in your chest made you hold a hand over it and your smile dropped. Something still felt missing though and no matter how hard you thought about it you just couldn’t place what it was.
“How you doing sweetheart?” A soft voice pulled you from your thoughts. Whipping around you were pulled into a tight hug by Blind Al.
“I’m doing alright.” You smiled weakly “How’d you know it was me?”
“I’m blind not deaf sweetheart,” she said “ain’t nobody else here sighing that hard but you and Wade and Wade’s not here yet.”
“Sorry.”
“Your dreams still giving you trouble?” She asks as she leads you further into the home.
“I wouldn’t say dreams, more like night terrors but yeah they are a little.” You say as you place the bag said booze you bought on the kitchen counter and follow Al to the living room where she seated herself comfortably in her recliner. “It’s nothing to worry about though.”
“Don’t bullshit a bullshitter baby.”
For someone who was blind Al sure could see right through you sometimes.
“I’m probably just stressed is all.” You try to downplay the situation but Al wasn’t having it.
“It’s been months.” She says matter of factly.
“It’s been a stressful few months.”
“Look… I may not have been there when you and Wade went through what you went through in that program but it’s over now. It’s done and that Ajax guy can’t hurt you anymore.” She said resting a hand in her arm gently.
Al hadn’t been a part of the Weapon X program like you and Wade had been but that hadn’t stopped him from telling her in excruciating detail about all the horrible shit you both had gone through during it.
“I know Al I just-“ you start but stop not fully knowing how to describe what you felt. “I just wish I could switch my brain off, just hit the reset button and be done with it but I- can’t get the memories outta my head.”
“I know sweetheart it’s gonna take time but time ain’t gonna do shit if you don’t let people in to help you.”
You knew she was right but you’d be damned if you’d admit it out loud.
“When did this turn into a therapy session? I thought this was supposed to be a party.”
“Smart ass.” She said tapping you on the leg with her cane. “Go help Vanessa make the jungle juice before he gets home. I’m gonna go see if that dumbass has any Bolivian marching powder left in his stash.” With that she stood to her feet and went to her’s and Wade’s shared bedroom
“Oh Al come on! I thought you guys were done with that.” You called after her with a frown.
“Not till I’m dead babygirl.” She called back and if she could you think she’d wink at you.
Back in the kitchen you and Vanessa make quick work mixing and setting up the drink you bought making light conversation as you do so.
“So-“ she starts off but pauses as if deep in thought for a moment.
“So?” You ask curiously as you take a sip of the alcoholic punch taste testing to see if it needed anything.
“You uh seeing anybody new yet?” She asks.
You nearly choke on your drink in surprise.
“N-no I uh no I’m not.” You stuttered trying to compose yourself. “Are you?”
“Y-yeah there’s this guy. I met him at work, he’s kind.”
You could tell she was lying, but didn’t speak on it.
“Y’know, I hear Colossus has been talking about you to Ellie a lot lately.”
Here we go again you thought.
“Oh nah hard pass we tried that dance already didn’t really work out.” You waved her off, but she continued anyway.
“I’m just saying he’s a nice guy, and he’s big, like everywhere, and made of metal, that’s like totally your thing. Remember when we saw the Winter Soldier and you wouldn’t shut up about Bucky’s metal arm?”
Not she was calling you out.
“Just think about it hun, you're always stuck up in your apartment or at work, you’re lonely and I think a little human connection would do you some good.”
“Yeah alright I’ll think about it.” She smiles at you before caressing your cheek, like she was the big sister you never knew you had.
“But only if you think about giving Wade another chance too.” You slip in “Deal?”
She contemplates for a moment before she smiles back at you again. You knew she still had feelings for the man and so did he.
“Deal.”
Before either of you could change the topic of your conversation the front door opened up again, this time revealing Peter and Wade.
“Surprise!” Everyone shouted as Dopinder Ellie and Yukio threw confetti into the air.
“Oh you guys!” Wade gasps dramatically. “You’re lucky I’m not armed!”
“If this was five years ago you’d all be dead.” He laughed as he went around hugging everyone.
The party went on without a hitch. Wade intermingling with everyone as he was passed around the room. You stayed in your own little corner as you watched sipping on your third drink for the evening. Parties weren’t really your thing but for Wade you’d endure them when you had to. Just as you were about to move to get yourself another drink you spotted Wade and Vanessa talking quietly amongst themselves in the kitchen hovering over the punch bowl. With a smile just glad they were finally talking to each other you thought it better not to disturb them for the time being.
Soon after however you all found yourselves piling into the kitchen as Wade called for everyone to come and cut the cake. Wade snapped a few pictures on Yukio’s Polaroid, making some cheesy speech about how lucky he was to be surrounded each and every person he ever loved in one room, something you rolled your eyes at even though you had found yourself thinking the same thing just earlier, before going to make a wish blowing out his birthday candles as he did so.
The party continued to progress throughout the night and the stuffiness of all the bodies in the room was starting to get to you. Excusing yourself from conversing with Buck and Peter you step out into the hallway for a moment to try and get some air. Your head felt like it was swimming, probably from all the alcohol and not enough food, and you were starting to feel nauseated as a pounding sound hammered through your skull. Eventually you decided to take a step outside to get some actual air to see if that would help.
After a handful of greedy gulps of the fresh night air you finally decide to return to the party before anyone came looking for you. Once inside your hallway you spotted Wade first, but he wasn’t alone this time. Surrounding him were at least 5 guys all dressed in black body armor and masks with weird electrical looking batons in their grasps. Immediately your defenses rose as you silently crept up behind them.
“Oh peanut, you came back! I’d offer to let you join in on the orgy but I don’t think this guy here’s down for sharing me.” Wade quips as he sucks on a breath mint leaning on his doorway. His comment drew most of the men’s attention towards you but not before he drew it back to himself. It seemed that they could care less that you were even there. “He’s got this whole hate sex, love 'em and leave' em vibe going for him right now.”
“Shut your mouth clown!” The guy in the front snaps as he goes to grab Wade by his toupee. Just as he grabs it an orange doorway opens up behind Wade and a pair of arms reach out pulling him inside causing his hair system to get ripped off.
“Wade!” You shout as you sprung into action, using all your weight you shove two of the guys causing the three of you to fall through the strange orange doorway just before it closed behind you.

This is the Red Alert You Can’t Ignore: Iran’s Military on U.S. Soil, Deep State Chaos, and the Elite’s Plot to Destroy America from Within!
The moment of truth is here. The battle for America’s soul is no longer in the shadows. The Deep State is waging war on our own soil, and the global elite are covering it up. Foreign forces are already inside our borders, preparing to strike.
We are on the brink of civil war. This isn't a drill. The Deep State, desperate to save their crumbling empire, has unleashed foreign troops to sow chaos. Enemy soldiers have infiltrated our country. Their targets: our key states, our critical infrastructure, and YOU.
Foreign Forces in Our Cities – Military Operations Escalate
The military is actively engaging on U.S. soil, but it’s not just our forces. Foreign soldiers are here, right now, waiting to tear America apart from the inside. California, Texas, Florida—they’ve been infiltrated by globalist-backed mercenaries disguised as South American gangs. These aren’t street criminals; they’re soldiers in the Deep State’s war against the American people.
Iranian troops have been sighted in the western U.S.—yes, actual Iranian military units, placed here by the Deep State to bring America to its knees when the time comes. The elites have sold us out—politicians and globalist operatives are working with these foreign forces to trigger America’s collapse.
Infrastructure is the target. Power grids, water supplies, and transportation hubs are all vulnerable, and the plan is clear: shut America down from within. When the lights go out, panic will explode, and the chaos will only grow. This is how they intend to bring America to its knees—through engineered collapse, martial law, and total domination.
The Deep State’s Master Plan: Civil War and Chaos
This plot has been years in the making. Every crisis, every election, every war was designed to bring us to this breaking point. But now, the Deep State is pulling the trigger on their final operation: a staged civil war. The military buildup in states like Texas, Florida, and California is not just for civil unrest; it’s a preparation for war against domestic and foreign enemies working for the Deep State.
Their endgame? Unleash chaos, call in foreign troops to “restore order,” and seize control. This is about more than power—it’s about absolute domination. They want you to own nothing, control nothing, and obey everything.
The Satanic Cabal: The Elite Families Want You Dead
Behind this operation are satanic monsters—the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, and their elite cronies who have been profiting from war, famine, and suffering for generations. These aren’t just businessmen. They are child traffickers, blood-drinkers, and war profiteers. The exposure of their networks is happening NOW.
Child trafficking, satanic rituals, organ harvesting—all of it is coming to light. The military is poised to blow their operations wide open, and they know their time is up.
The Quantum Financial System (QFS): Their Greatest Fear
The elite’s worst nightmare is the Global Currency Reset (GCR) and Quantum Financial System (QFS). Once it’s activated, the entire corrupt financial structure they’ve built crumbles. This is why they’re desperate to cause chaos and civil war. They need to stop the QFS from liberating humanity from their debt slavery system.
The storm is coming. The Deep State is moving fast, but we are faster. Prepare now. Stock up, stay alert, and get ready for the fight of your life.
I have been seeing this 👆 more and more...
The Storm Is Approaching 🤔

OC Reddit AITA Tag Game!
Thanks for the tags, @willtheweaver (here), @wyked-ao3 (here) and @the-golden-comet (here)!
So let's go with Deimos Soll from Supernova Initiative!
Deimos Soll
AITA for setting up my siblings and their crew for capture bu our worst enemy in exchange for safety against the warlord hunting me down?
Hi. So, I have been struggling with this for a while, and honestly wasn't sure if I should technically post this but since I've got few people I can vent this to, so I might as well give this a shot.
So, for context, I (26 M), did NOT want to betray my adoptive siblings. It was always us against the world growing up and we have always been all each other has had - well, at least until we had The Big Argument a few years ago and went our separate ways.
It all started to go downhill after that day, now that I'm thinking about it. After I left Jack and Cassie behind to pursue a solo career as a sniper, I ended up joining a Khosmonian war faction - I was very much an idealistic youth who knew little of the world of warfare at the time, but I believed that, by joining the Junction's greatest enemy in the civil war, I would have a chance to fight back against the government that destroyed my life in the past.
I was mistaken. Very much so.
It turns out that, for all the propaganda, the government in the Khosmonian galaxies - and especially the military branch I had joined - was just as corrupt as the Junction. I was quickly disillusioned and planned to desert that cause and go back to my siblings to make amends.
And I didn't even get that chance. I had packed my things and was ready to leave, but the warlord that commanded the faction I had misguidedly tied myself to - a monstrous woman named Eldora Thalax - wasn't about to let me go so easily. Apparently I was her finest sniper, and she didn't want to lose that asset.
Before I knew it, she had her soldiers capture me and bring me to her - she made me a final offer, saying she might forgive my 'treason' if I continued to work for her. I said no, and told her I was going to leave once and for all. She... didn't like that.
Eldora decided that, if I wasn't going to comply willingly, she'd make me do so by force - and so the nightmare began. I was locked in a freezing cell, and every day I was brutally tortured and experimented on - it didn't take long for me to realize what she was doing. Her plan was to break my mind and brainwash me into a living weapon.
I spent 3 years trapped in that living hell, barely holding onto my identity and sanity, until finally - on one extremely lucky day - I managed to escape and steal a spaceship to take me back to my galaxy. But Eldora wasn't going to stop hunting me down: 1. she didn't want to let others think she would simply let a prisoner get away from her, and wanted to make me an example, 2. she still planned to recapture me and brainwash me into her obedient soldier. Even as I went back to the galaxy I hailed from, I spent countless days trying desperately to avoid the assassins and agents she'd sent after me, barely getting a moment to even think.
I was at the end of my rope when I made the decision to seek the Junction's government for help - they'd always been my worst enemies, people I despised more than anything and who had destroyed my life and that of countless others over and over again. But I couldn't take it anymore, living on the run with the ever-looming danger of being caught again. Which I knew would happen sooner or later if I was on my own. I turned myself in and made a deal with one of the most influential Junction politicians, the Director, to get protection against Eldora.
They asked for something in return - and their price was that I helped them set up my siblings and their crew (since Jack, Cassie and the others had been the Junction's Public Enemy Number 1 for years now and Jack was the most wanted intergalactic thief of his generation) for capture. I didn't want to do it, but given that I had no choice, I accepted it.
Soon after, Jack, Cassie, and the crew were captured during one of their heists - something the Junction only managed to do due to the information I gave them.
They tasked the crew to do a dangerous heist on a hostile planetary system, making them work for our worst enemy in order to avoid the firing squad, and the Junction made me join them on the heist as well, probably out of sadism to see me struggle to keep the truth of what I had done hidden. At the time, no one in the crew knew I had been the one to blame for their capture.
The worst part is that, by saving myself from harm, I ended up subjecting my brother to the same - if not worse - struggles I had endured, as the Director made him his favorite test subject, torturing and experimenting on him for fun in the guise of seeking scientific progress.
I hate myself with every fiber of my being for what I did, and I would do anything to go back and change the decision I made in the past. If I had known what the price of my betrayal would be, I would never have done it. I would have preferred to spend the rest of my days working with Eldora than to let my brother go through what the Director did and does to him.
In fact, I never should've left them - abandoned them - in the past, after our argument in the first place.
I have kept my betrayal a secret from them ever since we had to start working together again, and it's eating me up inside. I know that if I tell them the truth, it would be the final crack to Jack's spirit - and Cassie... well Cassie would probably try and kill me for it.
And she'd be right.

Lonnie's 'in case of my death' note from shadow of the bat #41 which according to @lesbiananitafite reads a hell of a lot like a suicide note because he is Not Normal, written out below because it is so hard to read as is:
It looks like tonight must have been that night. I know I've caused you a lot of pain and grief over the past couple of years, and I'm sorry for that. You thought you were bringing me up to be the All-American boy, playing ball on the weekends, studying hard to be a doctor or lawyer. Instead you got a criminal. My memory is tainted, my good intentions derided. And, probably, I'm dead.
How to begin to explain how I feel? The world is like an alien planet to me, the brittle laughter and hollow fun of a theme park overlaying the nightmares of war and discrimination and brutality. The people society respects-- the great and the good-- are, in most part, the small and the evil to me. It's as if I see with laser eyes, burning away the surface illusions that hide the fact that we're zombies-- puppets controlled by somebody else. Again I'm sorry, because I know you're upset. You're good people-- nearly everybody is good people-- and that's what the elite take advantage of. But society is changing. The information revolution allows every man to see the great and good are no better than him. The old power structures and their fascist ways cannot compete with the anarchy of tomorrow's technology. The time of the common man is coming. No longer will he have to march to battle as fodder for bankers and arms makers. No longer will he live in a fog of deceit stoked up by politicians' lies. The future is freedom... and all I ever wanted was to hasten its birth.
I think it all began with Xuasus. I was eleven when he became my penpal... Every month I wrote to tell him the wonders of America-- Every month he wrote back with tales of hovels and soldiers and the brutal repression that made up his life. After a year, his letters suddenly stopped. Mine were returned "Not Known." Another year passed before I found out why he Xuasus wrote once more, a single sheet scribbled in some seedy back alley. His father had been arrested and not heard from since. His mother took ill. His sister died of malnourishment. At the age of 11, Xuasus was fending for himself on the streets. Remember I asked you to help me find him, Dad? You said it was another country, the rules were different there. We could do nothing. But I couldn't just forget a friend like that. I started to haunt the library. I found out Xuasus' country was a dictatorship, at war with Marxist guerillas, with ordinary people caught in the crossfire. I found out the guns came from Europe, and Russia... and here. A few men made big profits, while half a world away, poor people suffered. I read about war and the history of war, and the psychology of war, and the horrors of war. You never knew it but--
That's when I went through those months of nightmares. Remember? Anyway, I soon realized something-- almost all wars were caused by only one man, or one small group of men. And every time the elites ordered 'Fight!' it was the ordinary men who became canon fodder-- and ordinary families followed him into oblivion.
I learned that the state is more important than the individual. I learned that politics is soaked in blood. But I couldn't accept that it had to be that way. Remember how crazy I was about books, Dad? I used to make you take me to the bookstore every Saturday. Flying saucers, cults, conspiracy theory, religion, the occult... I drank it up, tried in vain to make sense of it all. Then I discovered Scudder Klyce's "Universe" and the jigsaw finally fell into place.
Scudder Klyce worked out the secret of humanity. Vox populi, Vox Del. The voice of the people is the voice of God. The elites are parasites, vampires sucking on the life-blood of man, turning everything good and decent into foul corruption! That's when Anarky was born. I couldn't help Xuasus-- but I could give the people of Gotham a voice, no matter how small, against the forces that oppress them.
--If I am dead, please don't think ill of me. I only wanted to bring a little sanity into an insane world for a little while, I was something no one else had ever been... the voice of the people. One day-- and it won't be long-- the tyrants will die away, scorned and mocked by their former victims. One day you'll see that I'm right; maybe then you'll be proud to say "My son did that."
All my love, Anarky (alias Lonnie Machin)

Twilight Arbiter AU notes / haino au
->very loose inspiration by canon
->character deaths; reincarnation;
->long post, includes some doodles and drawings;
Tumblr media
ramblings and doodles under read more
On one mission deep into desert Cyno actually lost his life, but was brought back to life by Hermanubis spirit. They made a deal, that Cyno will live (he had great will to survive), he will gain Hermanubis powers, but in exchange after he dies he will serve as *Twilight Arbiter*, guide for the souls going into afterlife. Cyno agreed.
After getting back to life his eyes turned red and hair white. When he got back to the Aaru capital, by general court and populace he is considered scary and weird. The order of silence is aware of Hermanubis presence now, but Cyno never spilled about his death. He has terrible scar on the neck that killed him, he hides it under usual black choker. (another au, another dead Cyno)
*
Cyno and Alhaitham at firsts don't get along to well. They would be passive aggressively butting heads, but somehow find common language as they believe most of the politicians in the court are idiots while the king himself doesn't listen to good advices. Additionally there's pending corruption of the land and catastrophe pending, which others don't take too seriously.
Somehow they end up investigating the corruption of the land together.
Tumblr media
*
Of course they fall in love along the way, as this was meant to be. Because who else is there.
But Cyno is resisting feelings, because he considers himself to be dead man walking. Doesn't know when death will take him, and why would he give Alhaitham any hopes and then break his heart. So it's better to not cross that line.
Nevertheless, the line is crossed, because of course it is. Because the world does fall apart and there's so little time to stop the corruption.
And then things fall apart so quickly. Deshret dies. The country gets ripper apart by corruption and monsters.
And then Alhaitham finds the way, because he always does. But the price is bloody, messy and his to pay. Going into heart of the corruption and allowing himself to be taken over.
Tumblr media
*
And so, you see, he dies. And Cyno can't do anything about it, what was done is done. He couldn't stop him.
Alhaitham's soul took over the corruption, Hermanubis explains. His soul to the core is corrupted
And so Cyno begs for a way out, to save Alhaitham's soul someway, somehow. He will do anything. To allow Alhaitham to pass over to afterlife and then cycle of reincarnation.
Another deal is made. Because there is a way, though it is not easy, nor quick nor painless.
Tumblr media
*
Because Alhaitham's soul gets thrown into cycle of rebirth and death. Every life, and hundreds of these await him will slowly heal allow for cleaning of th corruption. But it's for Cyno to bring his soul back again and again, and then soak they soul in the waters of the underworld rivers. Repeat, repeat, repeat the cycle. And bit by bit, Cyno too, will be forgetting all of what is Alhaitham. Of the man he used to be, his words and quirks. But Alhaitham's soul will be clean again.
Alhaitham lives his lives, not always as human. Never remembering the past, or rather his original life. Yet plagued by nightmares of the horrors and pain in his chest.
By the last cycle Cyno only knows that he will be one day taking Alhaitham's soul to the underworld. As any other soul.
Tumblr media
Nobody could predict, that this time around Alhaitham could actually see him. No humans can actually see Cyno. He only appears as the death takes over; clad in the robes made of twilight, splitting the sky.
Tumblr media
So how could Alhaitham see him? It just happened. And Alhaitham is unrelenting, he is curious, he's a researcher. He wishes to know the guide from the underworld himself after witnessing him over and over.
And like magnets, yet again they meet and orbit around each other.
Tumblr media
And then he remembers. He remembers it all, back to the beginning, back to thousands years before, back to all the lives he lived. He remembers it all, but he now knows Cyno does not. And he can only wonder why, Cyno can't tell him. Here they are strangers; not even existing on the same path. Because one day he will die, and who knows of Cyno? Will he continue his neverending duty? He seemed content when they spoke.
But Alhaitham is selfish, terribly selfish. And he can't stand that once again they will be separated, he might even fight the god of the underworld for it.
So on his own he embarks to the underworld, to meet the god himself.
Hermanubis is welcoming him. Inviting. To sit and speak. Afterall, Alhaitham is one who stopped origin of corruption and is in a way frequent visitor to the underworld.
And what is there to hide at this point? The deal he made with Cyno is revealed.
How Cyno decided to always bring Alhaitham back, to cleanse his soul in return for his memories. No matter how long and how painful.
And then, Hermanubis asks. What will Alhaitham do now?
*
I haven't decided yet how it ends.

Miguel O'Hara x Spider!FemReader
No use of y/n
Rating: Mature
Word Count: 4734
Summary: There's a massive breach to Spider Tower, Miguel needs the help of the entire spiderverse to contain it.
Warnings: ACTION, ACTION, ACTION (I've never written a battle scene before, I'm sorry) cannon typical violence, little fluff, little angst
A/N: I didn't mean to make this whole chapter Miguel's POV but here we are. I tried to condense his history from the comics down and add my own little things I want for him in this story. Also, mentions a lot of various Spider villain's in the chapter. Hope it's not confusing! Please let me know if it is!

Chapter 9
Efficient, quick, and dirty
Miguel had made many enemies over his career. Dawn a cape and mask and fight the forces of evil— Nemesis that vow eternal vengeance and all that jazz. That’s the job description. The biggest evils that threatened Miguel’s world, before the multiverse, weren’t just comical supervillains and back alley thugs, however. It was corrupt corporations. Men with billions of dollars and resources to assure they kept that power.
He didn’t want this job. He never sought out being a hero—Being Spider-man. This was all a freak accident. But he, like the rest of his fellow spiders, was thrust into it. Unprepared and untrained. In doing so he saw a part of his futuristic society he couldn’t ignore. The forgotten and the downturned. The criminal back allies the less fortunate were forced to brave every day. The clique owned Downtown of Nueva York.
Those in charge depicted the city as a Utopia, and in many ways, it was— But a Utopia built on top of a nightmare. That’s where Miguel’s first villains fought him— in the forgotten sublayers of the city. Downtown.
Once he saw it, he couldn’t forget. The people held under the oppressive reach of those with more power and money. He had to help them. He was the only one with the power to do it. The only one willing to stand up to the corruption. In doing so, he became a symbol.
It all stemmed from Alchemax and its slimy CEO Tyler Stone, the silent benevolent ruler of his utopia. He had his sticky fingers in everything. He owned the drug market, the police, technology, politicians— everything. He kept the world dependent on what he’d built. Nothing was immune to his reach, not even Miguel.
In his continuing journey, Miguel came to learn Tyler Stone was his father. It was the only reason Miguel had the success he did in his scientific career at Alchemax. An unknown father helping his bastard son every step of the way. In doing so, Tyler had also inadvertently created his new greatest enemy— the Spider-man.
It made Miguel feel dirty. Unworthy of all he thought he’d earned. All the people he’d saved, the loss he’d experienced, and the pain he’d caused— all overshadowed by a man he’d never call father. His life had spiraled since he became Spider-Man, and this was just another nail in the coffin.
Stone eventually left Alchemax, pursuing a career in politics. In doing so, he had to give up his company— so he gave it all to Miguel, thinking his illegitimate son he’d shown so much kindness to had the same evil goals he did. Overnight, Miguel had more money and power than any normal person knew what to do with.
Miguel was never proud of how he obtained his power , so to speak. It was simply handed to him, like so many other things in his life.
He didn’t hesitate to use all of it for the better. He had everything he’d been fighting for at his fingertips now— The inside information, the power. He revealed himself, showing the world that Spider-Man and Miguel O’Hara were one and the same. He purged every two-faced cop and exposed every backward politician and self-serving scientist. The city was no longer in Alchemex’s grasp, but now shared in its prosperity. He gave back to the people what corporate greed had taken away for years— and they loved him for it.
For all intents and purposes, Nueva York was Miguel’s city.
Along his journey, he’d discovered the multiverse. With all of Alchemex’s technology at his disposal, he dove further and further into the mysterious dimensions… until he lost himself completely. He’d wiped an entire dimension from the map because he wanted to play house. And somewhere out there someone else had blown a massive hole in the fabric of reality for their own selfish purposes. This power was dangerous, and it had to be kept in check— and there was only one way he knew how to do that. People he knew could be trusted with the responsibility of great power.
On top of the bones of Alchemex, and with the help of his brother, Miguel built Spider Tower. A giant fuck you to the corrupt old men he’d defeated.
That pissed a lot of the wrong people off— Loyalists to Tyler Stone and the old police force and the religious zealots that saw him as a false prophet. You can’t hold this kind of power without those that want to challenge it. Or those that just want it back— For things to go back to the way they were when they ruled the world.
And today, those that sought to dismantle everything Miguel built tried their hand at tearing it down.
A group of nearly a hundred of them, all armed to the teeth and riding in on hover bikes. They banded together and stormed into Spider Tower in the name of taking it all back. Did they really think they stood a chance against hundreds of superhumans? What did they have— a lot of guns and rage? Yeah, good luck, fellas.
“Lyla, lock down the building. No one gets out. I want them all detained once this is over,” Miguel instructs as he bursts out of his lab. The fight was traveling up the whole main corridor of the tower— He knew he’d regret making the center of the tower so open. Whizzing hovercrafts, lasers, and webs were already all around him. He jumps into the fray. As annoying as such a massive breach in security was, this was at least going to be a little fun.
Lyla made an announcement to the tower, ordering all spiders to detain the intruders. Like she had to tell them twice. Everyone was up and running in a second— There were just over one hundred Spiders in the citadel today. Plenty to contain a group of civilians.
It was absolute chaos, but still, something superheroes knew how to handle. A midair, hovercraft fight with dozens of guns aimed at you might as well have been a walk through central park. Just another Thursday morning in the life of a spider.
Miguel dives down the main corridor, clotheslining several intruders off their bikes along the way. He webs them all to the closest structure as he does so. Efficient, quick, and dirty, just how he liked it.
He makes it to the bottom lobby floor, landing in a roll. He checks the shields on the front doors, they are secure. Looking past the laser defenses he sees several more followers attempting to get into the building.
“Lyla!” He demands, “Call the Public Eye and get the outside of the building under control!”
“Already done!” She blips to his side, showing footage of the cops on their way.
“Good,” Miguel swings back up into the madness, “Have the arachnoid bots collect everyone captured and bring them to the lobby. Let’s round them up!”
And, like magic, the little 8-legged robots begin to descend the walls, detaining anyone caught in a web— Efficient, quick, and dirty. This would go by faster than he thought.
Miguel is about 30 stories up when he hears a familiar metallic shriek… one he had heard in years but could never forget. The groan of metallic wings.
It hits him from behind, a force so strong it snaps him off his web. But he doesn’t fall— he continues to climb, held tightly in the arms of his assailant. They weave through the crossing walkways and pillars that connect the tower, separating from the main fight. He turns around and sees the face of the first man that tried to save him down in the depths of Downtown Nueva York.
“Vulture?!”
“Hello, old friend, hello,” the Vulture laughs, “Enjoying my welcoming party?”
“Ya know, I’ve never been one for surprise parties,” Miguel manages to claw at his captor’s forearms, the Vulture releases him instantly with a howl of pain. Miguel swings to relative safety on the closest wall.
He hadn’t seen the Vulture in nearly a decade, one of the first foes he’d ever faced in those very first days as Spider-Man. He’d assumed the man was dead. The mech-suited cannibal lurked in the drudges of his city all this time, waiting to make a move. Today must be the day.
They’d nearly reached the top of the tower, the fight raging on several stories below. The Vulture hovers in front of him, a sadistic smile on his face.
“Praise the new savior of the city!” The Vulture mockingly claps, “The S-Man, Miguel O’Hara the prince of Alchemax, the god of Nueva York.”
“What do you want, you cannibalistic freak!” Miguel spits.
“Why, what I wanted since the beginning!” The winged maniac perches himself on a nearby ledge, “To join forces and bring this city to its knees.”
“And you're using Ty Stone’s loyalist to do that? Smart. I thought you hated Alchemax?”
“Mere pawns, I assure you. They were eager to fight you. I was eager to lead.” The Vulture waves dismissively. Pawns? For what? Surely he didn’t organize this whole thing just to get to Miguel, “Still with all the power in the world and you don’t use your greatest weapon to bring order.”
“What are you talking about?” Miguel sneers, now on edge.
“Don’t think I don’t know what you’ve been doing here, O’Hara.” Maniacal laughter builds in the villain’s throat. Miguel pounces, silencing him instantly.
“What are you talking about?!” He demands, bearing his fists down on the Vulture's throat. The villain doesn’t even bother to struggle, a sickening smile still painted across his face. Something was wrong— terribly wrong.
“Boss!” Margo’s voice crackles over his comm. “We’ve got a big problem down here. I need extra defenses… Now! They’re— Get the—” She cuts out.
“Oh, no, no, no, no…” Miguel begins to mutter, hearing a rising roar emanating from sector 2… the containment area. Below them, countless villains began to spill out into the citadel, roaring and fuming with rage. They never wanted to take back the tower, they wanted this.
“Rise, brothers, rise!” The Vulture cheers at the horrific sight, “My home is yours! This city is—”
Miguel rips one of his mechanical wings from the mech suit and pushes what remains of his Vulture over the edge. He spirals down the tower’s center leaving a trail of smoke and deafening laughter left in his wake— insane freak, he had no idea what he’d done.
For the briefest of moments, sheer panic overtakes Miguel. A thousand thoughts cross his mind in an instant. What could he do? How can he fix this? How can he stop them? It was complete madness and if he didn’t contain them now then the tower would be compromised… which meant the whole city is compromised. He had to act fast, but not just alone.
What did you tell him the other day? He has all the help in the known universe. Yes, he does… and he needs to use it. All of it.
And in an instant, he’s back to the task at hand.
“Lyla call everyone… Everyone!” Miguel screams at his virtual assistant, “We have a category 5 breach. We have to contain it… NOW!”
No witty response from the AI this time, she nods and vanishes into her system.
Portals open above him in a flash of dazzling light, dozens of them. That was fast. The remaining of his spider-brethren begins to spill out from across time and space, diving towards the action. He takes the lead, guiding the new wave of spiders into battle.
They clash like waves on rocks— flailing limbs and flying weaponry.
“Lyla!” Miguel calls as he claws his way through the masses. She blips to his shoulder, “Have the Alpha team move to sector 2, and add any extra security you can to the containment wing.”
“Alpha team go!” Lyla comically announces and several spiders break off from the main fight, flocking to sector 2. Every spider was assigned a sub-category for a mass attack exactly like this. Jess told him he was going too far when he proposed it in the beginning.
Who's laughing now, Jess?
“Beta team contains. Get them any traps and net guns you can! I want every anomaly locked up and brought back to sector 2!” Several more spiders break off to the armory to gather any and every containment device.
“And the gamma team?” Lyla asks, the final of the sub-categories. The one Miguel was assigned to.
“Fight. Break them down. Stop them,” He growls, launching himself further into the chaos. Many of the villains were left unarmed and ill-equipped. All weapons and mech suits were confiscated eventually— at least the ones they could find. A lot of them still had explosives and sharp things hidden in hammerspace. Still, there were many that had enough strength to be a threat to anyone, even without weapons.
Miguel lands on the back of a particularly massive Rhino. There was no mech suit on this one, he was 10 feet of pure flesh and blood. The giant man was charging a path down a corridor, toppling away people like bowling pins. Miguel’s mask fades and he bares his fangs. He sinks his teeth into the mutant's neck, injecting enough venom to bring down 2 full-grown elephants. The monster goes down in a sliding halt in an instant. Several robots descend on the massive Rhino, webbing him up in a containment field.
One down, a billion to go.
Miguel turns to jump off the ledge when it hits him— That all too familiar buzzing in his head. Even amongst the chaos it still blares like a siren, clear as day. Spiders from all over the multiverse were still pouring in, so why not you? He looks up into the bustling tower’s expanse and spots you instantly.
You came. Of course you came.
You’re with Jess, perched on the back of her motorcycle as she barrels down the citadel. He knew you were both part of the Gamma team— the fighting team. He was simultaneously overjoyed to see you and dreaded the fact that you were here. The fact that you knew how to fight meant nothing to his spider senses. For all his biology knew, you were his mate and you were in danger. Just another thing to worry about in the midst of this shitstorm— why not.
He sees you pounce onto the back of a soaring Vulture. He can’t help but follow. You web up the left wing, redirecting his flight pattern directly into the wall. You disarm him and web him up there for future disposal before moving on to your next fight. He forgot how clever you could be when fighting sometimes. Where he relied on brute strength you relied on speed and cunning.
He swings to your side.
“Oh, there you are!” You say, casually dodging a mirage of pumpkin bombs. “Thought you might be here!”
“Here I am,” He says back, bobbing between the bombs as well. You both find the Goblin that threw them, swinging his direction without hesitation, “I took your advice!”
“I see that! Quite the party here!” You shout, banking to the left of your new Goblin assailant. Miguel swings at him head-on, knocking him off his glider. You web the Goblin to the nearest surface and he slashes the glider to pieces. Another one down, and still a billion to go. “Though I would have liked to see you take this on yourself!” you say, cheekily as you swing about a diagonal walkway.
“Don’t underestimate me!” He shouts back.
“What the hell happened anyway?”
Miguel scoffs, “Sure, let me explain it to you in detail!”
You share a laugh as you both simultaneously dodge a pillar of rising sand from a rogue Sandman.
“Please do! I’m not doing anything important. I’m all ears!” Your cheerful demeanor was admittedly helping his mood about all of this. Typical spider, still throwing jokes in the face of possible annihilation.
He’d never actually done much banter with a friend before. With villains, sure— taunting them often led to results. Lyla always tried to have fun with him but he tended to tune her out when he was on the job. Part of being Spider-Man was having fun, that’s what the others said anyway. Was that what he was having with you in the midst of this horror— Fun?
Yeah, maybe just a little.
He feels the spider-sense ring— something’s coming up behind him. He ducks in response and a spear flies over the top of him, now heading directly towards you. You sense it just as he had, moving from its path just in time. You manage to grab it, midair and return it back to its holder— a Kraven parched on the adjacent wall. The spear rips through his fur cape, effectively pinning him to the wall. Okay— you were really good.
You both share a look, despite your faces being completely masked the message is clear. We’re stronger if we stick together. A spider-sense was invaluable in a chaotic fight like this. He could use a partner… just this once.
You both dodge and weave and capture in beautiful synchronicity, never once faltering. The two of you didn’t have the luxury of making mistakes right now. This required precision and vigor, there was no resting until the job was done.
The Beta team was finally moving through the tower now, re-containing and deporting everyone they could. Margo informs him the intruders only managed to free half the villains in containment and the remaining half was being dutifully protected by the Alpha team.
The crowd was thinning. Not by much but it was a start. He’d commanded his army well and it was showing results. They all continue the grueling work for hours. Stopping, catching, and containing—repeat for every one of them.
Efficient, quick, and dirty.
You never slowed down, keeping up with him like it was child's play. As much as he hated to admit it, it eased him to have you near. To have you close where he could see you— and protect you if necessary. So far, it hasn't come to that.
He hadn’t seen you much after you’d rescued him a few weeks ago. The air between you both changed since then. You forced him to change. You were the only one that could seemingly push him, that wasn’t afraid to stand up to him. You’d seen him— all of him. You looked the roaring beast in its fanged mouth and didn’t flinch.
He didn’t share much of himself with anyone and for a good reason. You were forced into his fucked up life and still found a way to accept him with glee. You didn’t seem pained or scared to be around him, like so many others did.
You treated him like a person, that’s all it took for his unquestioned loyalty to be yours. He knows how pathetic it sounds.
He wouldn’t hesitate to throw himself in harm's way for you now. The woman that knew all of him and still treated him like a man. He’d tear through this whole goddamn tower to make sure you were okay. He at least owed you that.
Watching you weave and pounce between threats was mesmerizing. You were fast, he was strong. You both used it to your advantage.
“Remind me to call you both for backup next time!” Miguel hears Jess shout as you both whiz by. You both just took down a Doc Ock that had been tailing her for a good 5 minutes.  He hopes you’re not being too obvious with all of it, but honestly who had the time to sit and gawk at you two in the heat of battle?
“We’re at 75 percent containment and minimal casualties,” Lyla announced on hour 3 of the battle. You decide to break off and answer a few distress calls from your friends. He wants to ask you to stay by his side but he holds his tongue. You’d be better used elsewhere now that the crowd was thinning even more.
The fight had dwindled away from the main hall and raged in various wings of the building. The ratio was practically 20 spiders to 1 villain now. It didn’t matter what tech or powers they had, no one villain could beat those odds.
By the time the containment percentage dwindled to around 10 percent remaining, those still in action simply surrendered. Villains could be complete morons most of the time, but they knew when they’d been beaten.
“We have full containment,” Lyla announces over the intercom system. When the last of them are rounded up a victorious roar echoed through the entire building. It was over. He did it— you all did it.
It all comes rushing to him at once— the exhaustion. He’d been fighting at full force for hours. He can’t recall the last time he’d done that… or if he’d ever done it at all. He wants to fall down and sleep for a thousand years right there.
Miguel streams down to the lobby, filled to the brim with caged intruders and anomalies. The arachnoid bots dutifully sort them out, bringing the villains back to the containment area and the trespassers outside to their awaiting police cruisers. He makes a mental note to thank Gabe again for the level of automation he’d added to the building’s systems. He has to resist the urge to oversee and micro-manage every bit of it.
Miguel is humbly reminded of just how selfless his spiders were. He called for help and it was answered tenfold. They all came to the tower's aid without hesitation. He made the right choice gathering this team together. A team of people who simply just wanted to help, and in doing so that made them the most powerful force in the universe. A force for good.
Sure the Tower was trashed and he’d have to beg Gabe to rework the security systems and do about a billion other tedious things to completely clean up this mess— but you all did it. The first major test as a team and Spiderkind passed with flying colors. Maybe he wasn’t as shitty at this leader thing as he thought.
He feels his spider-sense rise and a smile can’t help but tug at the corners of his mouth.
“Incoming!” Your voice rings out behind him. You swing down to the lobby, carrying a rogue intruder by the ankle. You swing directly for him, dropping your prisoner in a cluster of robots along the way. The wind is knocked out of him when you come barrelling into his arms, hanging yourself around his shoulders. He’s surprised when you kiss him openly. He wants to push you away, afraid someone will see but you’re both currently surrounded by robots and prisoners right now— so what’s the harm in a little victory treat? You’d both earned it.
This kiss felt different. It wasn’t as desperate and hungry as the hundreds of others you’d shared at this point. Something more than just the heat of the moment. It was a lustful thank you. A grateful embrace. Something sweet after hours of bitter struggle.
“Way to go, General O’Hara,” you congratulate him when you both finally come up for air.
“Same to you, little spider,” He breathes against your lips. You both linger there, him holding you in his arms and you gently cradling his face like a treasure— like no one ever had before. He could stay suspended in this moment forever. The incoming sound of more spiders thrusts him back to the situation at hand. He drops you back on your feet and you dust off your suit in an attempt to look more presentable. Funny how you were both grown adults but acted like teenagers playing hooky. It was a little fun in its own fucked up way.
Miguel reminds himself to enjoy it more while he has you.
Several spiders make a B-line straight for him, undoubtedly with reports from the fight or the various damage around the tower. And so the headache begins. You give him a nod and start to make your way back to the sidelines. He doesn’t want you to leave. You could stay at his side through all of this, just be there with him— if you wanted.
Miguel grabs your elbow before you’re out of reach, “Come up to the lab when this is all over.” He asks in a hushed tone. The request beneath his words was heard loud and clear.
Find me after all this and I’ll fuck you so good.
You smile faintly and nod.
I’ll be there.
Good, now he had something to look forward to after all the bureaucracy. You fade into the background as the various spiders come to his side bearing news of their plight. In all honesty, he didn’t want to listen to any of them and was struggling to not tune all of the various reports out. His attention kept lingering back on you on the sidelines, conversing with your own group of spider colleagues. Jess and Gwen and that damn anarchist British kid from Earth-138.
You had a life outside of him, of course you did. He didn’t have much of a life of his own, being the reclusive scientist he was. So much responsibility rested on his shoulders. So many people that needed him, like they did right now.
Even so, in the midst of the chaotic aftermath, he just wanted to be alone with you. You came to him. After it was all over you found him in the smoking quagmire of it all. You came and kissed him with meaning. With passion that wasn’t the result of some biological response. Just you and him— two simple people with an increasingly confusing relationship.
Still, he finds it within himself to tend to his duties around the tower as leader. You come and go in his field of vision, helping clean up the mess wherever needed. No anomalies escaped and his universe's Vulture had been brought into the Public Eye’s headquarters for questioning— good. He needed to know just how far that psychopath’s control reached. He may have a new problem on his hands if the remaining cliques of Downtown were planning a hostile takeover. He prays it won’t come to that, after all he’s been trying to do for this city.
He checks in with Margo in the containment center, everyone was accounted for and deportation to their home dimensions had resumed— a little faster than normal. Having villains still in the facility that had seen the rest of the Tower made him a little uneasy. A few spiders from the Alpha group volunteer to work in guard shifts as extra security until every villain that was involved was shipped out.
People were starting to dissipate from the tower, seeing that they’d done all the help they could at the moment. After hours of swinging around, the only thing left was clean up and the bots could handle that. Miguel decides it’s time to head back to his home as well.
Lyla lets him know the rest as he slowly makes his way to his lab. Any possible compromises to her system were neutralized. The bots should have the scattered battlefield of weapons and rubble cleaned up within 3 days, an approved crew was coming in first thing in the morning to assess any structural damage, and Bob’s your uncle.
Massive crisis averted.
And now he could have you alone back in his room, a reward for both of your hard work today.
He’s standing at the entranceway to the lab when he feels you behind him. You gracefully land on the opposite end of the walkway leading to his room. The same place you opened up to him just a few short weeks ago.
There’s still bustling from the bots and various spiders just below. The path was littered with remnants from the fight. The bots hadn’t gotten up this far yet. Pieces of mech suits, discarded guns and webbing. He’d worry about it later. It was being handled. Now, he just wanted you.
He feels his sense jump, but not in anticipation. The way it would in battle. His senses instantly hone in on a half-demolished glider left on the walkway— smoking and sparking over the side. It was still somewhat functional. Something was wrong and you don’t seem to sense it. The device was shorting out.
He jumps when you’re approaching point-blank range of the thing… but he’s too late.
The glider and all the bombs stocked inside of it blow— and you go flying over the edge, limp.

A double review because at this point, the show is just repeating itself
Alright so miraculous again decided to air two episodes at once, which ok, annoying as fuck for someone that times and reviews them, but we survive either way. Let’s go!
Confrontation
Alright, I’m officially renaming “Lila episodes” into “Lila and Chloe episodes” because literally Chloe has become the new Lila! Literally nothing that they do makes sense or has any reason beyond “they’re evil and hate marinette mwahahaha” and just exist to make marinette look better in comparison
Tumblr media
(In case you’re wondering why they’re still around and what’s the point of Chloe and Lila, it’s because the minute they’re actually complex/compelling characters or they’re gone, Marinette’s actions and behaviors become way more awful in hindsight, so the show keeps these two around to make Marinette either a martyr or a hero)
Also nothing in this episode makes sense and constantly contradicts itself?
Tumblr media
Like the entire premise of the episode being the students getting assigned to terrible high schools, but they never wanted to do these sheets in the first place? The lucky charms are suddenly magical shields, but then why wasn’t this discovered before? You’re telling me no one thought to encourage petiole away from being akumatized? And also, Lila’s plan is so flimsy and held by the thread that the students will just assume marinette did this for… basically no reason because they’re graduating
Also I don’t care what the episode argues, Damocles, André and Bustier all were shit role models and support systems for the students, and were a big reason as to why students were angry and akumatized in the first place, but sure let’s just pretend they’re good last minute you guys!
Anyways this sucked, next episode
Collusion
So… Adrien has officially been character assassinated by the show to have no personality beyond being love interest!
This happened in the last episode too, but you see it here so much as well! Like literally every minute of Adrien’s screentime, and every time he talks is somehow connected to marinette! Literally his father is sending him away to a private school in London (which honestly at this point with what marinette did to him, take the chance and run baby) which is supposed to be his worst nightmare, and rather then think about his responsibility to Paris as Chat Noir or his friends that he will leave or his sense of autonomy, all he can think about is “I’ll be separated from marinette🥺”
Tumblr media
HE LITERALLY SAID HE ISNT SURE OF ANYTHING ABOUT HIS LIFE OR WHO HE IS BUT ALL HE KNOWS IS THAT HES IN LOVE WITH THIS GIRL AND THATS THE ONE THINGS FOING IN HIS LIFE, LOOK AT WHAT THEYVE DONE TO MY BOYYYYYY!!!
And wasn’t perfect the very thing Adrien didn’t want to be perceived of that marinette constantly calls him? It’s giving putting someone on a pedestal and not seeing them for what they really are (the love square is literally high school sweethearts marrying tans divorcing in like 3 years)
Anyways, grieving Adrien’s personality aside, Chloe is demonized to the point of unrealistic, the one teacher who was actually being a decent teacher and not contributing to a system of corruption is now demonized out of nowhere too, Lila literally makes no sense (like that’s apparently not even her name? She goes by cerise in another school, and she has three moms WHAT THE FUCK EVEN IS THIS SHOW ANYMORE), Chloe is mayor now for some fucking reason (this is illegal), and André gets dumb redemption arc out of nowhere.
Mentioned I’m in the previous episodes too, but André is not a good person and the show keeps pretending he is? Like girl, man is confirmed to do corrupt horrific politician stuff, has had the chance to help and actually raise his daughter for years, but chose to neglect her after her mother abandoned her, and now pretends to be a good parent to a child that’s not even his own to feel better about himself, AND YET IM SUPPOSED TO THINK HES SYMPATHETIC AND GOOD? FUCK THAT!
Tumblr media
Also real quick, what the fuck is up with the mayor controlling the school? Like initially I was think the reason Chloe has leverage in the school is that her dad, through big donations, basically controls the school board and who gets to do what, but it seems he’s just? Using his mayor powers? Like girl that’s not how being mayor works, you can’t just fire anyone like that, this is a very bad lesson in politics
But yeah. Both episodes awful.
The only good things I can take from here is that there’s finally a canonical lesbian couple that wasn’t constantly queerbated (I love Julerose, and don’t like Zoenette, but they’re both constantly vague and easily censored) and Juleka got some screen time.
Tumblr media
(Also Luka and Adrien are officially in the “being Marinette’s love square character assassinated me till the point I have no personality outside of it” club)
Also if you’re wondering why I didn’t mention anything about the fights? They’re dumb, last like five minutes and take a back sit just to tell you how awful Lila and Chloe are.

(They didn't allow reblogs. Also, TW: US politics. Don't doomscroll. Life is still there. You're still here. It's going to be okay. I just need to vent before I kill someone)
This wasn't a victory of the right, it was a deliberate and intentional sabotage from America's "Left." The moderates that's supposed to represent us obviously did this on purpose. Every corner they turned, every decision they made, every stumble was calculated to purposefully sabotage the election. Against themselves? Why?!
They have no skin in the game. The US government makes more money from the corrupt and the corporate greed. The politicians all saw Trump's fascism, and quickly realized they wouldn't be at the bottom of the totem pole. (They're all mostly white, usually old, and usually male politicians. They had nothing to lose if they lost.)
But if they won? Well, they might have actually had to have gotten their act together. They might have to put some cuts into their bottom line. They might have to start expanding linearly instead of exponentially (every business person's worst nightmare. Well, at least the insane ones.) Yeah, they could have lied and not done a single thing they promised (like they've done every election.) But, it'd just be easier to lose.
America is fucked... We'll continue standing. We must keep standing. We'll be alive tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that. Make plans. Change your life. Take control, before you can't anymore.
You might have to start fighting for your life now, so. You might as well give them hell.
Keep your chin up. Stand tall. And for the love of fuck, don't let them crush your Spirits. That's when you actually lose. You can spit blood in someone's eye while your bones are breaking, but the moment you give up, that's when you actually lose.
Anyways, Imma dissociate and pretend everything is okay lolll. Maybe I'll finally see if I'm a system or not from all this lololol.

Rhetorical questions never get answered either in Golden Age movies or in modern-day United States. At most, grand juries, congressional committees, district courts sometimes manage to extract a few pale perjuries from the odd scapegoat. Presumably, this will happen to Bert Lance when he goes before a grand jury in Atlanta to answer charges of criminal misapplication of bank funds. Three federal agencies are also on his tail for assorted crimes while his secret attempt too take over Financial General Bankshares, Inc. has been temporarily stopped by a federal judge. Will Bert be found guilty? And if so, of what is he actually guilty? With some pride, the Inventor-owners of the United States announced that their republic would be “a government of laws and not of men.” The world applauded. It never occurred to any Enlightenment figure in the eighteenth century that law was not preferable to man. The republic was then given to lawyers to govern. Predictably, lawyers make laws, giving work to other lawyers. As a result of two centuries of law-making every aspect of an American’s life has either been prescribed for or proscribed by laws that even as they are promulgated split amoeba-like to create more laws. The end to this Malthusian nightmare of law metastasized is nowhere in sight. Plaintively, Bert acknowledged this state of affairs in his last appearance before the Senate. He maintained that he had not really broken any law, while desperately signaling to the senators that if you were to obey every dumb law on the statue books you could do no business at all. The senator-lawyers would doubtless have been more understanding if their client-constituents had not been watching them on television. One rationale for the necessity of new laws is the need to protect that vague entity known to lawyers as the public, to corporations as the consumer. Yet each virtuous law promptly creates counterlaws designed to serve those special interests that do not have at heart the public's interest. As a result virtually any polluter of rivers, corrupter of politicians, hustler of snake-oil who can afford expensive legal counsel is able to sail with the greatest of ease through the legislative chambers and courtrooms of the republic. This is the way that we are now, and that is the way we have always been. Nevertheless, from time to time, the system of ownership requires a sacrificial victim to show that the system truly works and that no one is above the law–except those who are.

Am I in a cult ? If yes, is there a specific name to this kind of pipeline ? Is that some kind of domestic-abuse-survivor-to-antivax-wellness pipeline ?
Sorry for the massive ask, it's very long, I'm planning to talk to a therapist about that.
For context : I live outside of US, in Europe, english isn't my native language. I've spent my early years in a very religious christian environment, then teenhood in New Age type of environment (they say it's not New Age, but I don't see any differences with that, it's repackaged Eastern spiritualities and religions mixed with pseudo-science self-help wellness cure-for-all-sickness).
I think I might spend all my childhood and teenhood in a cult environment. Very isolated. Very us-vs-them, we're specia and they're borinfg, mindset.
Multiple trauma layered within each other, school, home, medical, family, youth movements, deaths, suicides, being forced to watch horrific stuff for "good benevolent samaritan savior" reasons, other horrific stuff happened.
I'm still in it. This situation got worse with time since 2020.
My parents keep saying they're not partaking in cult interactions, they're skeptical and free thinkers, wich makes me even more confused. I mean it's like they're in a cult but it doesn't look like a cult and they say it's not a cult.
I'm not sure about it since it doesn't look like what I've seen portrayed online and in movies.
We don't go to church, attend public events. The only information sources and interactions are on social medias like youtube. Politicians talking about pfizer and "big pharma corruptions" and how freedom patriots will save everyone. That kind of tropes. But apparently it's not social media because it doesn't look like Facebook or Instagram. I stopped doing that very recently, 2021-2022. Seriously it was so hard to quit this habit, I'm so glad I did it.
Every time I learn about post traumatic stress responses, new age psychology cults, wellness spiritual healing mlm marketing, cult behavior, codependent issues, white supremacy pure blood tropes, I get terrified because I relate a bit too well. I'm living in this ideological nightmare. I had similar experiences in a different context.
I've been fed all kind of conspiracy theories (they're not "conspiracists" just skeptical and free thinkers), spiritual "healing", "I choose what happened to me and I'm a special soul" kind of karma tropes, had forced exorcism on me while having a mental crisis because I had "bad spirits" controlling me, heard all the time about apocalypse scenarios where vaccinated people would die within a few months, heard horrific stories about covid vaccines side effects, red-pill "we live in a society and others are mindless NPCs" stories, I can't even describe all the things I've gone trough those last three years.
I'm still really scared of the idea of escaping this pipeline. I don't even know what exactly it is, how to escape this, what to expect and how to leave properly when my parents will learn about that. It feels like it's been all my life. Maybe I'm wrong and it's just me being "psychotic" like they say.
How do I make sure I'm not interpretating and making false assumptions ? Most of the time, I don't even know how to check my own stories, beliefs, opinions from actual facts. Am I in a cult or am I making things up ?
Thank you for reading to the end.
Cults in real life rarely look like the ones on TV, which are based more on conspiracy theories about cults. Real cults look like the kind of thing you're describing. You are absolutely in a cult; you're literally describing the same stuff I'm talking about when I write about the bullshit that New Agers/QAnons/Q Agers are into.
There are support groups for people in your shoes, including ReQovery and QAnon Casualties on Reddit.
Maybe some of my followers have more ideas?

* . ⋆ MASTERLIST ⋆ . *
will be updated as i post more :]
HEROES AND VILLAINS
a collaborative project between me and @throneofhavoc-blog! mostly set in carabi city, a town full of supernatural creatures, corrupt politicians, and a few people who are both. rumors and enemies hide around every corner.
there's also dispar, a city in the same world which is slightly less plagued by corruption. slightly. i haven't developed it much yet, though.
╰┈➤ 777 ELECTRIC
carabi's power is almost entirely provided by 777. it hasn't gone public quite yet; in fact, it's still a family company, with the previous owner being the new one's mother. their operations are more limited outside of carabi. however, they are still quite rich and powerful.
they have a substantial criminal presence. one which is connected to the criminal underbelly of the city, especially the supernatural end of it. i haven't, uh... quite figured out the details yet.
╰┈┈┈➤ SALVATORE/REX
sal is said owner of 777. incredibly charismatic, with a handsome appearance to match. he runs the business aspect of the company, although he also handles the more personal aspects of the criminal side. like throwing parties, making friends (and deals), that sort of thing. he's so busy, he often can't find time to sleep.
╰┈┈┈➤ HEATHER/LUCIFER
rex's enigmatic second-in-command. she does much more work in the criminal side; she has a reputation for being sal's brutal, unforgiving enforcer. rumor has it that she's survived wounds that would have killed anyone else, even coming back stronger for it.
╰┈➤ MONIKRON HEROES
a group of superheroes known for the nicknames they take along with their hero names. they're quite popular among the citizens, and they're as close to officially sanctioned as superheroes can get.
╰┈┈┈➤ AMATERASU, THE SUN HERO
despite her name, amaterasu's abilities have little to do with the sun. she's from another dimension, one with blood-red skies and poisonous air. she can create "mirrors" to it, or cracks in reality that act as portals. they can be opened anywhere within a certain radius of her—even within another person.
she is the leader of the monikron heroes. most of them have a sort of reverence for her, although she's been more disconnected from her team lately. busier, she says.
╰┈┈┈➤ DREAMWRAITH, THE SHADOW HERO
a little goblin who is Constantly sleep-deprived due to the frequent nightmares that their ability causes. they are amaterasu's protégé; they're one of the youngest heroes while also being one of the most powerful. no one really knows where they came from, including them.
their abilities are versatile. their main attack is the massive, demonic hands that they can summon and use to attack. however, they have many different skills. they can float, cast illusions, teleport...
╰┈┈┈➤ FERAL, THE WEREWOLF HERO
as a natural werewolf—one whose parents were both werewolves—feral has a great deal of control over his ability. he draws strengrh from the dark and the full moon. he can transform almost whenever he wants, and he can decide how much he shifts. the more "wolf" he becomes, the less control he has over himself, so he only uses it fully as a last resort.
╰┈┈┈➤ SCOPOPHOBIA, THE WATCHFUL HERO
scopes is a highly experienced hero, able to keep calm in many different situations. as a cyclops (may change the name but she only has one eye), most of her abilities are focused on perception. her hearing is made incredibly sharp by her pointed ears, her vision is better than a human's ever could be, that kind of thing.
she's also physically strong and well-trained in combat; however, lately she's mostly been relegated to recon missions. she resents this and has been growing suspicious of amaterasu because of it.
╰┈┈┈➤ STEELHEART, THE INDUSTRIAL HERO
a behemoth made of scrap metal and broken glass. at 7'8", she towers over nearly everyone she meets.
╰┈➤ ANGEL
a mysterious solo hero who seemed to pop up out of nowhere. her name was coined in the very first article that was written about her, less than a day after her first appearance. she wears a full suit of armor, and she rarely ever speaks, even though her helmet has a voice changer that makes her almost unrecognizable.
she has light magic. she can fire beams of scorching-hot light from her palms, or use it to light up a room, or somewhere in between. her favorite technique is summoning shining wings and a broadsword. she also seems to have some kind of healing ability.
╰┈➤ MULCH
a chaotic solo hero who seems to delight in his own mystery. he's DEFINITELY not human, but nobody can quite pin down what he is. his costume is similar to bob from slime rancher, almost entirely covered with little bits of his body peeking through.
he often casually drops bits of information about himself, then moves on like it's nothing. he mentions tentacles, eyestalks, mouths in odd places, scales, that kind of thing. it's unknown how much of it is actually real. however, he definitely has water magic, specifically hydrokinesis.
LEGACIES (UNORDINARY AU)
this one has... a lot cooking behind the scenes! basically, it follows the intertwining futures and pasts of a few of my characters and the canon ones. i won't reveal it all right now, but here are some of the characters:
╰┈➤ QUINTUPLE TROUBLE
a friend group that goes to Wellston High together. they're the main focus of the story, especially aria, who is our main character.
╰┈┈┈➤ ARIA
she's basically a himbo. strong, loving, and extremely passionate. she's self-assured and can be impulsive, hence why i called her a himbo.
she's open and honest, with herself and others. she's also very friendly and courteous to everyone! people tend to find her trustworthy and feel safe around her.
╰┈┈┈➤ RALEIGH
ral is a fashionista and costume designer (cosplayer). they're playful, a bit of a class clown. they tend to deflect with humor, and they're terrified of opening up.
they value creativity and individual identity. if one of their friends is trying something new, they'll cheer them on, regardless of whether they personally like that thing.
they're a bit clumsy as well, despite their skill with woodworking. they tend to almost trip... a lot. there's a running joke within the friend group that they're secretly some kind of master thief, and their clumsiness is just a cover-up.
╰┈┈┈➤ SINCLAIR
the straight man of the friend group. (ironically, he's definitely not straight.) he's very calm, and he seems reserved at first glance. however, he's the most outwardly affectionate of all of them; he just shows it through actions rather than words.
he values efficiency, especially in his own work. he's also incredibly people-smart and empathetic. he knows how to work with a variety of personality types, and he's quite charismatic as a result.
his parents are old-school goths who run a mortuary together. they're eccentric and Incredibly doting and supportive towards sinclair. they were overjoyed when they discovered that he wants to help them run the mortuary.
╰┈┈┈➤ VI
vi is a nerd who hates the authorities and loves hacking. she's broken into a government building at least once, possibly more, with her older brother. she's also incredibly book-smart; she tends to get very frustrated with scientific inaccuracies.
one of her biggest values is freedom of information. she doesn't believe in banning books, and she hates when info is put behind a paywall. that being said, she also wants people to have individual privacy.
some fun facts: her older brother is a famous hacker who's leaked a few government secrets in his time. she's friends with a journalist who's part of the school paper; they've used her as a source a few times. her sleep schedule is garbage, leaving her perma-tired.
╰┈┈┈➤ ZAVIER
bro?
A KING AND A CROWN
basically a couple of fun character ideas that quickly spiraled out of control. k&c is a post-apoc zombie story where the zombies are victim to an extra-dimensional force. how exactly that force got here, and what that means for our protagonists, is still up in the air. (i know it, but i won't share it just yet. :D)
╰┈➤ THEO
yaaay! murderous man with no morals!
╰┈➤ RAINIER
yaaaaaaaay!!! murderous woman with morals!
ALL THE BEST (TDOS AU)
working title. around 700 years before the events of the show, super-objects were MUCH more common. they essentially acted as warlords competing for territory. larger empires and kingdoms did form, but they never stayed for long before being forcefully broken apart.
eventually this resulted in a massive conflict which involved most of the world. this wiped out most super-objects, making them significantly rarer and limiting the range of powers that they had. it was only after this that aqua, tree, fireball, and storm came about.
╰┈➤ SHADE/PROMISE RING
an ancient super-object with the ability to shapeshift, among... many other things. they were once known for their brutality and their disregard for life; they retired to the woods with their best friend, ring. however, their retirement was rudely interrupted by an army burning down their forest and slaughtering ring. they refused to involve themself in the events of the world, watching apathetically as the wars got worse and worse until the catastrophic event i mentioned above.
there's more to their story. a LOT more, actually. but those are the basics.
HANGING BY A THREAD
a theoretical animated series; the first season would be a pretty standard object show, while the second season would be cosmic horror.
╰┈➤ CONTESTANTS
note: i haven't decided how their names work. the first name is more typical for an object show, while the second one is a more human name.
╰┈┈┈➤ PIP/ALICE
Nervous
Easily frightened/startled
Talks a lot
Cautious and perceptive
Sometimes mistaken for paranoid, but she's almost always correct
Can be inconsiderate; somewhat self-centered
╰┈┈┈➤ LANTERN/ETHAN
Quiet
Calculating
Prefers to stay back and watch rather than participate
Passive; stays out of conflict
Won't take sides (out loud, anyways) unless he's forced to
Judgemental
╰┈┈┈➤ CHERRY/KAI
Fang's best friend
Passionate
Very easily excited
LOUD
Impulsive, tends to act without thinking
Keeps their word no matter what
╰┈┈┈➤ FANG/PAIGE
Cherry's best friend
Tries to keep them out of trouble
Cartoon enjoyer
Very serious and earnest
Some people think she's scary, which she doesn't understand
╰┈┈┈➤ SCREWDRIVER/DENNIS
Smug bastard
Actually very insecure
Worried about what others think of him
Easily peer-pressured
╰┈➤ THE POWERS THAT BE
an extradimensional group with mysterious goals and far-reaching influence. secretive and defensive towards outsiders, with a strict hierarchy and esoteric rules for their members.
i've been referring to them as "the powers that be" for convenience's sake. i don't think this is the name they'd give themselves--maybe something like "management," given their sort of corporate themes?
╰┈┈┈➤ HUD/HOST
A showman to the core
Doesn't care about his contestants, but values the stories they can tell
Acts unflappable, a bit of a coward
Deathly afraid of the powers that be
Only takes fights that he knows he can win
Not actually a member of the extradimensional group, but lives in their facilities
╰┈┈┈➤ NULL
Extremely loyal to whoever it chooses to follow
If given the chance, it will protect those it holds dear
Somewhat naive about normal/mortal life, but very knowledgable in its own right
Currently under restrictions that require it to follow Host's orders
Not bothered by it, but doesn't care about Host at all
Considered more disposable than other Enforcers, so it's sent to do the dirty, dangerous work
╰┈┈┈➤ SYSTEM
Null's best (only) friend
A rebel who's constantly deviating from the rules
The crack in her screen is one of the many punishments she's received for this
Very friendly and charismatic
Secretive, hiding a lot of things
Leads people to believe what she wants them to believe about her
╰┈┈┈➤ FLUTTER
Very stuck-up and self-important
Condescending
Allowed to bend the rules a bit as an Overseer, but can't stand when other people do it
Hates System
Despite his unpleasant personality, though, he's very good at his job
A massive suckup to authority

Now I'm curious what does Damijana think of people who were disabled from birth? Like how can they really blame them...
If you think Damijana's politicians are above blaming disabled babies for their misfortune, well you'd be wrong...These people are soulless, money-grubbing ghouls.
Actually they tend to place blame on the parents before anything else. Let's say you're a Damijani woman who has just given birth in the hospital. Your baby was born with significant disabilities. This has been confirmed and recorded by the doctors on staff, and now it is in your family's government records. These records can (and will) be accessed by government agents tasked with monitoring citizen behavior.
So, an agent is flipping through new records and sees that another baby was born with serious health problems. Uh-oh, this might make the empire look bad! This might draw attention to the toxic substances the government allows in the food and water supply, or the terrible pollution in the environment, or some other corrupt aspect of Damijani culture.
That agent begins monitoring the family of this child. They may contact the family and begin asking seemingly innocuous questions, but what they're really doing is gauging if this family is going to be a problem or not. Will they start investigating their child's illness? Will they uncover the truth about Damijana's pollution problem? Will they start insinuating that these things are connected? If so, the child disappears and the parents go to Good Citizen Camp(tm).
You suspect that pollution exposure is what caused your child's disabilities, but you dare not tell this to anyone. You know that if you do, you'll be told that YOU are actually the cause. YOU must have taken illicit drugs or harmed yourself somehow during pregnancy, and that is why your child is like this. It's not the empire's fault, it couldn't be! This is a utopia, after all! So the fault must be yours, and if there is suspicion that you're taking drugs, harming yourself, or otherwise acting erratic, then agents will begin harassing you and threatening to take your child away.
You could enroll your child in a special school, take them to doctors to try and improve their symptoms, and so on...but is it really worth the risk? These schools and doctors will just record more and more information, and more information on your family's record just means more opportunities for agents to harass you.
You decide the less time this child spends out in public, the better. You choose to homeschool them. You neglect medical visits. You forbid them from getting a job when they're older, and instead you support them until you die. All the while you keep them hidden away from the public as much as you can, because every moment they're outside is an opportunity for the agents to snoop on your family and possibly take unwanted actions against them.
Your child is an "undesirable" in the eyes of the empire. Their poor health makes the Eyes of Damijana (the agents) squirm in discomfort, because deep down, they know the fault is not really yours. This child is living proof that there is something seriously wrong with the way this empire is being governed.
So, you better hide that child's problems or the government will hide them for you. That is the reality disabled children face in this empire. They just get swept under the rug with all the other things the leadership is ashamed of, like its poor people, its drug addicts, its mentally ill, and its critics. Damijana would sooner execute every one of these people than admit they are the result of its own failure to run a functional society.
Damijana's leadership has tried very hard to create a utopian paradise for all red elvenkind, but somewhere along the line they lost sight of their cause, and their dream was corrupted into a dystopian nightmare.
You can see glimpses of this scenario in "The Shadow Sector" and "Call Me Jeimos". A red elf named Tarajeen is an Eye of Damijana herself, so she knows how scary they can be. She fears the scrutiny of other agents, so she strictly controls her child's behavior and doesn't let them express any discomfort with themselves or criticism of the empire. This shows that even the agents can't escape their empire's iron grip, because they have to police eachother as well.

Project 2025 EXPOSED: Trump’s Final Battle Against the Global Elite and Their Deadly Plans to Eliminate Him!
Donald Trump is the last defense against the total takeover of the world by the global elites. The Deep State is panicking as their empire of lies crumbles. But this isn’t just politics; this is a war for humanity’s future.
The Deep State—a secretive cabal of globalist billionaires, intelligence operatives, and corrupt politicians—will stop at nothing to take Trump down. Let’s be clear: they want Trump dead. These assassination attempts are real, happening right now, orchestrated from within the highest levels of the U.S. government.
It’s not foreign threats like North Korea or Iran—it’s a conspiracy inside America. The CIA, FBI, and Pentagon are all involved. That attempt on Trump’s life on September 15th? It wasn’t some foreign enemy; it was an inside job orchestrated by Deep State operatives.
But the plot goes deeper. Inside sources have revealed that military generals loyal to the globalist cabal are planning a silent coup. They’ve embedded sleeper cells throughout the military, intelligence agencies, and local law enforcement, waiting for the moment to remove Trump—by any means necessary.
Iran is just a distraction. The real masterminds are here in America, feeding Iran false promises to use them as pawns. Trump knows the traitors are inside his own government, but removing them without sparking civil conflict is a delicate operation.
Meanwhile, the Deep State’s weaponization of the legal system against Trump is a criminal act. Endless lawsuits, indictments, and investigations are designed to drain his resources and keep him distracted while their covert plans continue. DOJ leaks have exposed that officials are being paid off by international bankers to ensure Trump is kept out of power.
Let’s talk about Project 2025. Trump’s insiders have revealed a political and military purge coming. This plan will dismantle secret programs that have funneled billions into surveillance, trafficking, and military projects that only benefit the global elites. A shadow intelligence network has been spying on U.S. citizens for years, and Trump’s team is ready to take it down.
Global elites like Soros, Bezos, and Gates have funded these projects for their New World Order—a world without borders, with one global government controlled by them. Trump’s resistance to their plans has sent shockwaves through their ranks, and now, they’re in full panic mode.
The media? They’re just puppets. Every major news outlet has been bought off by the Deep State to suppress the truth. But Trump is not alone. Patriots inside the military and intelligence agencies are preparing to expose the entire corrupt operation.
Trump’s Quantum Financial System is poised to destroy the globalist central banking system. This is the Deep State’s worst nightmare. They know that if Trump returns, their entire house of cards will collapse.
This isn’t just another election. This is the final battle. The global elites know their time is running out. Trump is coming. Project 2025 is coming.
The question is: will you stand with Trump in this final battle, or let the globalists steal your future? Time is running out. Prepare yourself—because the storm is coming.

The expected stronger turnout for June’s EU Parliament elections will reflect the variety of stories being played out in member states: referenda on governing parties; the radical new testing the mainstream old; and the pro-Russian vs the pro-Western.
The elections for the European Parliament are due to take place on June 6-9 amid a heightened level of interest among the 373 million eligible voters about the 720 lawmakers who will represent them in this twin-seated legislature (Brussels and Strasbourg), which over the years has become – perhaps unfairly – symptomatic of the EU’s bureaucracy, waste, corruption and elitism.
This greater interest partly reflects the increased fears of and buzz around interference in the elections against the backdrop of Russia’s war in Ukraine, an assertive China, and Iran and North Korea’s hostile actions towards Western allies in their respective regions.
The European Commission has been warning about and taking action to counter external threats to the information space ahead of these elections.
“We already had several elections in the last year, in all of which deep fakes were used,” Vera Jourova, vice president of the European Commission for values and transparency, told a panel discussion at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit Panel on May 15. “But it’s not just about deep fakes; it’s also about disinformation on steroids being amplified by AI, fake accounts, fake likes – we expect all of this to appear in the last 10-12 days before the elections.”
Actions that the EU Commission have already taken include requesting “Big Tech” develop technologies to detect deep fakes and label them as such or remove them; and on the political side a pledge from all European parties to refrain from using disinformation and AI production. “We are waiting for the last few days of the campaign to show whether the nightmare will appear or whether the campaign will show we were prepared well for that,” she said.
However, there are fresh concerns about the money that is flowing into these elections this time around.
According to an investigation led by Follow the Money into 200 political parties across 24 EU countries, for only 3 out of every 10 euros that these parties receive from individuals and companies is the name of the donor actually made public. That means 660 million euros is unaccounted for.
And populist, far-right and far-left political parties are benefitting hugely from these large amounts of unregulated and non-transparent funding.
The investigation, Transparency Gap: funding of political parties in the EU, collected and analysed all the money going to political parties between 2019 and 2022 and found that 150 million euros, the equivalent of1 in every 4 euros of all private donations made in the period, went to populist parties and those with the most extreme political views. “Far-right groups have pulled in more than 97 million euros, equivalent to 1 in every 7 euros of private money,” Follow the Money said.
“When other forms of funding are included – specifically membership and donations made by a party’s own politicians or officials – hardline and populist parties captured one-fifth of the money raised between 2019 and 2022, amounting to almost half a billion euros, the data shows. For far-right parties, the sum was close to 200 million euros – 1 in every 11 euros,” it said.
Though turnout will vary widely between the member states, EU officials are hoping to improve on the 50.7 per cent participation rate recorded at the last elections in 2019, which itself was the highest rate seen in over two decades.
As for whom they will vote for, the latest polls suggest a more conservative parliament, but not one necessarily dominated by the radical- and hard-right parties that have appeared – and in some cases taken power – in national legislatures over the past decade or so.
The latest polls by Europe Elects have the mainstream centrist political groups – the Social Democrats (S&D), the liberal Renew, and the centre-right European People’s Party (EPP) – retaining a sufficiently large majority of around 400 members, or MEPs. However, polls suggest that radical- and far-right groups – the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) and Identity and Democracy (ID) – could win between 30 and 40 more seats than in 2019.
The 11 CEE countries that have joined the EU since 2004 will have 208 out of the 720 seats in the next parliament. However, the far-right surge so longed-for by the Hungarian prime minister, Viktor Orban, is unlikely to materialise, with right-wing parties projected to obtain a roughly similar number of mandates as in the 2019 vote.
However, the distribution of seats gained by these parties will see some shifts. According to the consultancy Teneo, Poland’s Law and Justice (PiS) is expected to lose several mandates due to lower voter support and the strengthening of far-right Confederation. In Hungary, Orban’s Fidesz is projected to suffer at the hands of a new conservative party on the scene, Peter Magyar’s TISZA, meaning it could lose two to three seats.
“However, the far-right is expected to gain seats in Romania and Bulgaria, where the AUR and Revival respectively have established themselves among the top three most-popular parties,” says Andrius Tursa, CEE advisor for Teneo.
Borissov back in Bulgaria
Bulgarians will vote not only for their representatives in the European Parliament, but also in the sixth general election since 2021. The latest chapter in Bulgaria’s election drama was opened by the dissolution of the uneasy coalition between two opposing blocks: GERB/United Democratic Forces and We Continue the Change/Democratic Bulgaria. Both races are expected to be won by the conservative centre-right GERB party, led by Boyko Borissov, now looking for his big political comeback after serving as prime minister for much of the time between 2009-2021.
Both elections are expected to deliver similar results that would solidify Borissov’s grip. Surveys by Alpha Research, Market Links, Trend and Exacta agencies are all pointing to GERB winning with 8 to 10 per cent, leaving WCC/DB in second. WCC/DB would still be in a fierce battle for second place with GERB-allies Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and pro-Russia Revival, a potential source of Kremlin-friendly voices among Bulgaria’s 17 seats in the next EU Parliament.
According to a Trend agency survey from May 22, in the EU election GERB/UDF are expected to take 25.9 per cent of the vote, followed by WCC/DB (16.1), pro-Moscow parties Revival (15.1) and Bulgarian Socialist Party (8.1), MRF (14.6), while nationalists There’s Such a People are on the brink of the threshold (5.5).
According to the Trend survey, voter turnout will be around 48 per cent in the general election and 45 per cent in the EU one, reflecting voter fatigue.
We can, Croatia!
Croatia has 12 seats in the European Parliament, and these EU elections will be held in the shadow of the national parliamentary elections that took place on April 17, in which Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party was given the mandate to form the government for the third time in a row.
Plenkovic has formed a coalition with the radical-right Homeland Movement (DP) party, which is expected to repeat its strengthening in the EU election. Homeland Movement was only created as a party in 2021 and has not so far participated in the EU elections.
The electoral system for the EU election is different to that for the Croatian parliament, and provides conditions more favourable for smaller parties. Like DP, the Mozemo! (We Can!) left-leaning, green-oriented party will also take part in these EU elections for the first time and is expected to win a seat in the EU Parliament.
According to a poll published on May 4, HDZ is projected to win 30.6 per cent of the votes, followed by the list of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and partners with 24.2 per cent, the We Can! list with 7.5 per cent, DP with 6.7 per cent, and Most (The Bridge) with 5.4 per cent, meaning it is on the verge of winning a mandate in the EU Parliament.
Czechs show more interest
As the June 7-8 date approaches, the more than two dozen political parties, ad-hoc alliances and tried-and-tested coalitions running for Czechia’s 21 EU Parliament seats have intensified their campaigns in an attempt to mobilise their supporters and attract disaffected voters – of which there are many in the country.
This could prove an uphill battle in and of itself in a country with the second lowest EU election turnout among member states – about 28 per cent in 2019 – and a notoriously Eurosceptic population that is often weary, suspicious or merely unconcerned with what happens in Brussels.
Yet according to Aneta Zachova, editor-in-chief of Euractiv.cz, “Czechs are following European politics much more than before – they are much more aware that they are part of Europe, rather than surrounded by some sort of vacuum.”
Nearly 60 per cent of Czechs declared that they were likely to vote if the EU elections were held the following week, according to a Eurobarometer poll published in April, but Zachova considers it could already be considered a “victory” if the turnout reaches beyond 30 per cent.
Tapping into widespread Euroscepticism and popular grievances against the current five-party ruling coalition, opposition parties have gone on the offensive, using the EU campaign to attack the government on domestic issues while disingenuously using some of the EU’s most divisive policies – especially the Green Deal and Migration Pact – to describe the current leadership as obedient servants of Brussels’ out-of-touch bureaucrats and anti-Czech “dictates”.
“The campaign has really been driven and dominated by the opposition,” Zachova tells BIRN, especially the ANO party of former premier Andrej Babis (part of Renew Europe) and the far-right Freedom and Democracy (SPD) of Tomio Okamura, putting the government of Prime Minister Petr Fiala and his SPOLU coalition on the receiving end of frequent attacks and criticism.
Meanwhile, whether in government – the Pirates and STAN – or not even represented in the national parliament – like the Green Party – “the more pro-European parties of the Czech political scene have been doing their best to present their vision and push their agenda,” according to Zachova.
But with the campaign largely cannibalised by negative narratives and disinformation, their platform has often remained invisible to the general public and largely fallen on deaf ears, according to the journalist and EU commentator.
The Czech opposition is trying to capitalise on the idea that the EU elections are nothing more than a referendum on an unpopular government that’s said to blindly toe Brussels’ line. “Dear citizens, if you don’t want to live in a federalised Europe, lose your sovereignty by abolishing the right of veto, pay in euros or have neighbourhoods with Arab or African refugees, as most parties in our government coalition want, please go to the polls and vote for ANO,” MEP Martin Hlavacek said during a recent televised debate.
Intent on showcasing their achievements – including their active support for Ukraine – and highlighting the opposition’s ambiguous stance on these issues, government parties have tried to shift the narrative, describing the election as an existential choice between safeguarding Czechia’s democratic legacy and pro-Western, pro-European orientation, or emboldening populists and extremists, some of whom make no secret of their pro-Russian allegiances and illiberal tendencies.
“I don’t think that these European elections are going to be a referendum on the government,” reckons Danuse Nerudova, a former presidential hopeful and STAN’s campaign lead for the June ballot. “They will be on whether we elect populists and extremists who only know how to block and destroy, or if we elect people who are really seeking actual solutions to today’s problems.”
Although showing a drop in preferences compared to domestic election polls, EU opinion surveys put Babis’s ANO party in the lead to potentially increase the six MEP mandates it won five years ago, reaching about one-fourth of voting intentions, followed by the SPOLU coalition (about 21 per cent), STAN and the Pirates (11 per cent each), and the extreme-right SPD-Trikolora alliance (10 per cent).
Analysts also point out that dissatisfied and more “risk-taking” voters may choose to cast their ballot in favour of smaller, non-parliamentary parties, including the Prisaha and Motorists coalition whose campaign has recently been gaining momentum.
Held less than a year and a half before the next parliamentary elections, the EU Parliament ballot will be a significant electoral test for all parties to sound out voters, adjust their strategy, fine-tune their rhetoric and, possibly, rethink their alliances. Final turnout will also prove key in determining the extent of the expected Eurosceptic right-wing surge, in Czechia and elsewhere.
Greek PM looks to lure back conservative voters
In the weeks leading up to the European elections, Greek political leaders were out on the stump. Even so, “the pre-election debate is not focused on European affairs and problems (war in Ukraine/Palestine) but more focused on Greece’s internal affairs,” observes Aris Stylianou, associate professor at the School of Political Sciences at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
According to a poll published on May 31 by Pulse, a Greek polling company, for SKAI TV, Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s conservative governing party of New Democracy (ND) was maintaining a steady lead with voting intentions at 28.5 per cent, the left-wing party of SYRIZA at 14.5 per cent, the centre-left PASOK at 11.5 per cent, the far-right Elliniki Lysi at 7.5 per cent, the communist KKE at 6.5 per cent, Pleysi Eleftherias – the party of the former SYRIZA member and former president of the parliament Zoi Konstantopoulou – the new far-right party Niki and Yanis Varoufaki’s MeRA25 at 3 per cent each, and the New Left at 2.5 per cent.
Mitsotakis’ time in office since the June 2023 general election has been beset by problems – high prices, a wiretapping scandal, etc. Together with policies such as civil marriage for same-sex couples, which caused anger in church and conservative circles, voters are expected to desert his ND, opting for far-right parties or SYRIZA.
Mitsotakis is, therefore, trying to win back ND’s most conservative voters by including on its EU list the Greek expat and convicted mayor-elect of Albania’s Himara, Fredi Beleri. “A quite adventurous move that could cause diplomatic issues and destabilise relations with Albania,” stresses Stylianou. “This man’s past is dark – we know he has been arrested and was involved in extremist, nationalist groups.”
Beleri was previously convicted of ethnic hatred offences in Albania in 2002, while in Greece in 1995 he was one of seven people arrested at the Greek-Albanian border after weapons, bullets, knives, military uniforms and hoods were found in the two vehicles in which they were travelling.
For Stefanos Kasselakis, the new openly gay leader of SYRIZA, the EU election will be his first electoral battle. Stylianou predicts his party will attract mainly young voters and the apolitical, and come in second after ND. “Kasselakis has a right-wing perception in his politics, and he does a morning TV politics-like show that attracts apolitical and centre-right people, the ones who usually don’t vote,” underlines the professor.
PASOK has always enjoyed support in rural and semi-urban areas and with older people who used to vote for the party in the 1980s and 90s. “PASOK will have a decent percentage but will be third and without achieving any great success,” Stylianou says.
In the last general election, three far-right parties took 34 of the assembly’s 300 seats, among them the Spartans party. Greek Supreme Court prosecutor Georgia Adeilini in April sought the indictment of 1O MPs of the Spartans, one former member of the party who has kept his parliamentary seat and one jailed former member of the banned Golden Dawn party, Ilias Kasidiaris, for election fraud. Adeilini called Kasidiaris the moral perpetrator of fraud of the electorate, as her investigation showed that there was a hidden leadership in the party and Kasidiaris was the real leader of the Spartans.
Following a decision of the Supreme Court, the Spartans will not participate in the EU election on June 9. ND, PASOK and the New Left submitted memoranda against its participation in the EU elections, while SYRIZA did not.
There is a percentage of Greeks who remain favourable towards Golden Dawn’s ideology, with the problem of the rise of the extreme right in Greece – as elsewhere in Europe – connected to the fact that the political elites remain unable to deal effectively with unemployment and poverty.
“Elliniki Lysi is the soft far-right, the most traditional far-right in the country, which seems to stand out because of its soft positions,” Georgios Samaras, assistant professor in public policy at the International School for Government at King’s College London, tells BIRN.
Mr Hungary
While Prime Minister Viktor Orban had been hoping for a radical-right surge in this year’s EU Parliament elections, what he definitely wasn’t betting on was the emergence of a new conservative party led by a former Fidesz insider that promises to attract votes away from his party as well as the opposition.
Peter Magyar has been going round the country holding huge rallies, even in Fidesz strongholds in the countryside, rallying supporters to abandon the corrupt ruling party of Orban and other mainstream opposition parties, and instead throw their lot in with him and his centre-right TISZA party (an acronym for Respect and Freedom, but also the name of Hungary’s second largest river).
Magyar’s popularity keeps on rising. EU election polls put his TISZA party in second place behind Orban’s Fidesz and a challenge to all the other opposition forces, winning up to five of Hungary’s 21 seats in the EU Parliament. Fidesz could fall from its current 13 seats to 10 (less than 40 per cent of the vote), which analysts say would be a bad – but not fatal – result for the government.
Even so, it might harm Orban’s chances of his Fidesz party joining the European Conservatives and Reformists Group (ECR), a centre-right political group in the European Parliament, which includes Poland’s PiS, Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy and Spain’s VOX. Instead, Fidesz might end up in the far-right Identity and Democracy Group.
Poland to help push to the right
Just like in the national arena, democrats and conservatives are running neck-and-neck ahead of the EU election in Poland, set to take place on June 9, while the far-right should bring a new contingent of MEPs to the parliament. Polish parliamentarians will occupy 53 seats in the new EU Parliament, a quarter of seats assigned to CEE countries.
An opinion poll commissioned by Gazeta Wyborcza and published on May 20 projects that 31 per cent of voters would choose Tusk’s Civic Coalition (KO), 29 per cent for Law and Justice (PiS), about 10 per cent for the far-right Confederation, 8 per cent for centre-right Third Way and 6 per cent for the Left.
Given that Poland uses the d’Hondt method to calculate mandates (considered the least proportional of all proportional methods), Wyborcza estimates that the breakdown of mandates would be: 20 for KO, 19 for PiS, six for Confederation, five for Third Way and three for the Left. In sum, the democrats would have three more mandates than the right-wing, although with such tight results much could still change.
In the current EU parliament, PiS and its allies have 27 mandates, while KO and its coalition partners have 25.
The tight race between KO and PiS is no news to any observer of Poland, as that has been the case for the past several electoral cycles.
The other important development is the growth in absolute numbers of Confederation over the last few elections. Although nowhere near the performances of peers in Germany or France, the far-right party should enter the EU Parliament with an important contingent of MEPs, compared to none in the current parliament. As such, these MEPs, alongside those more hardline from the PiS team, will contribute to what is already expected to be a turn to the right of the EU Parliament as a whole, with an associated increased focus on security and economic issues to the detriment of the environment, social justice and human rights.
Romania’s young feel right
Although Romania has been a member of the EU for 17 years, the stakes in the elections for its parliament have never been regarded as particularly high by the electorate. The merging of the EU Parliament elections with the local ones on June 9 once again shows the low interest of Romanian parties in this type of election.
Young people in Romania, on the other hand, have shown a higher interest in the EU Parliament elections, especially following politicians with accounts on social networks like TikTok.
Populist, nationalist and extremist leaders with Eurosceptic views are very present on social media, such as the leader of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), George Simion, and the president of the SOS Romania party, Diana Sosoaca.
According to a survey published by the European Commission, Romania is leading the pack in the EU when it comes to voting intentions among young people for the June 9 elections. This exceptional level of interest and participation is a significant development in Romanian politics.
A whopping 78 per cent of 15 to 30-year-olds surveyed say they will go to vote. This is the highest percentage recorded among the 27 EU countries, while the European average is 64 per cent. In some European countries, young people can vote from the age of 16.
Slovakia’s subdued campaign
In Slovakia, where turnout in the European elections has traditionally been the lowest of all EU member states, a mild campaign driven by paid social media posts and billboards was toned down soon after an attacker shot and seriously injured the premier and Smer leader Robert Fico on May 15, less than a month before the vote.
But while campaigning was toned down in Slovakia, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban used the incident to describe the attacker as a left-wing activist and claims that Hungary was temporarily standing alone in the fight for peace. “European elections have become more important than ever… We must vote for peace on June 9!” Orban said.
This EU election, in which people in Slovakia will elect 15 MEPs on June 8, will be the third major ballot to be held in Slovakia in less than a year. Despite anticipated voter fatigue, a Eurobarometer survey suggests the turnout in Slovakia could be a record high, with observers estimating it at somewhere between 30 and 40 per cent. They add that the attack on the prime minister could also drive coalition voters to cast a vote. Fico’s Smer was leading in the latest Ipsos poll, which was conducted just after the attack.
“The coalition parties will use the attack as a tool to present that it is necessary to fight against liberalism,” argues political scientist Aneta Világi of Comenius University in Bratislava.
The populist and Eurosceptic governing coalition is already blaming the media and the liberal-conservative opposition for intensifying the polarisation in society and for the attack on Fico, while the opposition’s messages about a pro-European Slovakia and defending democracy against the coalition’s attacks seem to be getting lost in the noise.
Hlas, Smer’s coalition partner, has even introduced new billboards with “blood” on them, speaking about a wounded Slovakia following the attack. Moreover, Smer and its coalition partners have been promising peace in Europe to their voters, and bringing an end to the liberalism that the EU represents.
Like the opposition, for which three former prime ministers are running in the elections, Smer and its other coalition partner, the extremist Slovak National Party (SNS), is betting on well-known faces on their slates. As a result, populists with pro-Russian views and politicians notorious for their appearances on disinformation channels could find themselves as MEPs.
“I’ve got a family, three kids. I want them to live in peace,” Lubos Blaha, a popular Smer MP with notorious pro-Russian views and the party’s No.2 on its slate, said in a recent video. “I don’t want war against Russia.”
