i’ll absolutely never understand the whining about reused animation i see in anime reviews. if it makes even the slightest sense stylistically, thematically, or comedically, or if it’s just competently shot/drawn, i’m all for it
#i’d defend the endless eight until my last breath#though i have zero clue if i watched em all (its been a fuckin while since i watched haruhi)#imagine complaining about reused animation in a magical girl or time loop show (i have seen this)#like bro……. of fucking course they reuse animation? it’s the fucking genre conventions#do you expect them to not show the transformation in a magical girl show? genuinely? that’s a problem of your own expectations#and like of fucking course the time loop (or otherwise cyclically themed) show is gonna reuse shit.
