PART TWO of saint references! This is for what they look like when using their powers ("attuned;" also, this is technically a half-echo form)

For a little bit of lore background on echoes. I imagine they're basically dreaming, and their dream is of a campaign where they try to ascend properly. If they try to enter the void sea they'll end up in Rubicon, which is unique for every echo and reflects places and creatures from their campaign.

The point of Rubicon is that's where the echo has the chance to break free out of what's holding them back. In Saint's case, they are too attached to the old world to be willing to let go of it.

Once an echo has broken free, then they basically wake up. Then it's up to them whether they want to move on, if they want to linger, or if they want to be reborn and try again (but with their memories intact). Echoes that linger can shapeshift, including into a "half-echo" form, where their appearance is a combination of their pre-ascension and echo selves. Saint in this case has an echo aesthetic hehehe :]

Skitch totally gets Wanda into Animal Crossing. They mostly just liked it for the fishing and bug hunting, but Wanda? Oh she loves the customization.

I can see Skitch playing Animal Crossing casually and then showing it to Wanda one day like, "check this out really quick" and her getting stuck on all the villagers and ambience they're passing by trying to get to the museum.

"That deer's really cute"

"Oh, that's Bruce, he's pretty chill. I'm probably gonna evict him soon."

"What? Why???"

"Eh, he just rubs me the wrong way."

I wanna say that Skitch's island is well looked-after and they are pretty proud of how it's coming along, but things like weeds get overlooked sometimes. It's an "out of sight or of mind" kinda thing, but it never gets too egregious.

But this just spirals for Wanda after she decides to check the game out herself. I feel like her island is very aesthetic™️ and pretty maintained. Wanda also plays casually, but she keeps things in order. She needs to have peach trees, and she must have Shino on her island.

Wanda's assistant, Mandy, is also an avid player of AC, so I can see her giving Wanda tips and trading stuff often. I feel it in my heart of hearts.

Also, every time Skitch visits Wanda's island, they leave behind a little gift for her, probably by her house. This ranges from innocuous nonsense like a bag of weeds to something Wanda was actually looking for.

i love mlp.. really a full circle moment for me when my first tumblr blogs back in high school were mlp oc ask blogs.. when my first venture into digital art started with me drawing mlp ocs on my ipad..

it's so strange to be back in this place, posting mlp art i drew on my ipad on my blog. so often i think that i'm so so different than the person i used to be. but now.. i think i'm just allowing myself to exist as how i was so scared to before. and allowing myself to continue to enjoy the things i did when i was younger.

i recently sent a lot of my old mlp toys away. and went to a toy store today on a whim.. and found a rarity i hadn't seen before. (along with a character from the movie i've never watched) i almost left her there. but i'm really glad i picked her up.

REAL REAL REAL. FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT. some of the twisted wonderland fans be so obnoxious about how a character “WOULD NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT” but within the same day they’ll post about how a ship is actually canon. or they’ll make a headcanon that is just them projecting themselves onto the character. like which one is it? do you hate people mischaracterizing or are you okay with people having fun? cause there’s literally nothing wrong with making headcanons, regardless of how in character it is. have fun. write whatever tf you want. but the moment i see you berate people for making shit ooc, and then go onto write the same type of shit, that’s when i have a problem.

Im glad my sentiment is shared. Honestly speaking, writing characters that either don't belong to you or that you dont have a full analytical grasp on isn't a walk in the park. Theres a lot of ways to make mistakes, and that's absolutely fine.

Some writers are seemingly alright with adding their own headcannons to characters, yet will yell at others for doing the same.

If you dont like a certain way a writer wrote/ portrayed the character, you're more than welcome to open a google Doc and try to do any semblance of a better job. However, that shouldn't be used as ammunition against the other.

If a person wants to write azul being a CEO of a conglomerate or riddle as a sheltered young master, so be it. But you know what? You're not better than them because you refuse to broaden your range.
