well first i like them both (autocorrect: voh. thanks) a lot, truly so much, they are bit very dear to me which is why i’ve been drawing and posting silly doodles them every day for about a month and a half now and why my entire turn in 2022 to being active in fandom and posting fic after many years avoiding doing so was due to writing about the two of them, and much of how i contextualize each involves parallels and contrasts to the other and i see each as seminal to the other’s characterization and arc and their comparison, contrast and relationship to one another is something i am. obsessed with. yeah. package deal

but one thing about belaf is that he falls more into that ‘sketched’ category i referred to, and i enjoy filling in the details. this difference between V and B applies not only to his personality and interiority but also his interpersonal relationships — we get more onscreen interactions between Vueko & Wazukyan and Vueko & Irumyuui than Belaf & Wazukyan or Belaf & Irumyuui, but the Be interactions we do see let us gather a lot about his dynamic with each of these two and leaves us longing to see more of all of them interacting, and so as a creator of fan content i find myself wanting to create and see more of what was only glimpsed, especially for Be…
