If I were to rewrite DC, I’d keep Yul as an asshole. Except he’s not racist or fatphobic or anything like that, he’s just an asshole to people in general. (I feel like I’m wording this wrong, just think of the “Professionals have standards” meme lmao). Like, he’s mean to people, but he doesn’t take jabs at their weight or race or whatev.

Aside from that, you can choose whether you’d prefer he’d grow as a person or stay the same. If he were to change, I feel like it shouldn’t be something kinda lame like a love interest. And the change in personality wouldn’t be super sudden, it would happen slowly. He’d still come off as rude sometimes, but it’d be unintentional for the most part.

If he were to stay the same, he would get his comeuppance much more often. Seriously, from what I remember, Yul doesn’t really suffer the consequences of his actions. Sure, there was that one time when James poisoned him, but that’s really the only time I can think of. (Which is why I hope ONC does something about that because OH MY GOD i cannot stand Yul.)
