What are your top 3 favorite sets you’ve made? I originally had like 15 sets linked here to show you, but tumblr said no, so i'll actually cut it down to three even though i love so many of my stuff lol. I'm really proud of this one I put on gamingladies cause it was a lot of work finding characters and making them all fit together.

I also love this one because ive always found it hard picking fonts and shit to put on gifs and i feel i did that well here. I'm proud of this one too because it made people mad lol

9. What/who inspired you to start making gifs? It was honestly fandom bloggers on here. There used to be a really big Dishonored blogger who made absolutely beautiful gifsets and I really wanted to be able to make gifs like her so I started lol.

12. What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever giffed? Honestly I looked at a bunch of my sets, and I really can't say I'm embarrassed of any of them. I guess I'd have to say my old sets if I had to choose. Like the ones from when I got started. But when I look at them, I can see what I was trying to do but didn't have the knowledge to do. So I forgive old Shania cause at least I tried even if I didn't have the skill for it yet.

45. Ever gotten hate over a set? The closest I've gotten to hate was people being like, "Why isn't X and Y here?!?!?!" Meanwhile it's a gifset of MY favourite characters or games or whatever lmao. Like make your own damn set!!!!!

I've also gotten gifsets saying that they hate a character or game that I've giffed which have always made me wonder why the heck they even reblogged my content

46. Ever gotten a really sweet compliment over a set? Never in my ask or anything, but I have had people leave really nice comments in the tags before. :D I've had people say they were amazed with the layout of a gifset (primarily those big boy gifsets i've made with like 90 mini gifs in a big gif). I've also occasionally had people compliment the colouring. It always makes me really really happy when people comment!! I check every gifset for tags lol

I actually do! or I did when I was still regularly writing lol it was something like this: cracking open an energy drink, lighting up my fav scented candle, booting up itunes and my writing playlist and generally just spending 5-6h just writing 💕

rip that’s all I write too... tbh I used to write original fiction before but I find myself much less constricted by fanfic? I can explore the characters here more than I can in original fiction where worldbuilding takes most effort

oh definitely paper! if I could I’d buy printed out fanfic too!

I was about 12 I think? it all started with harry potter, like everything else has, and I regret not a second of it!

sometimes when i get very excited about what i’m writing i’ll tell my fandom friends about the specific AU that i’m writing about but in terms of reading the full length fic, i don’t have anyone that i let read before anyone else. it’ll be on ao3 for everyone at the same time.

6) Where is your favourite place to write?

my desk, my pc. I can write on my phone but I like to edit as I go and it’s hard to do on the phone.

do I even need to say it? harry potter

for fun, but with the aim of possible future publication maybe?

always computer. i have only recently begun writing fics on my phone because i’ve been traveling a lot and i don’t always have my laptop on my person, but it’s still much more comfortable to sit down and type on a proper keyboard.

at my uni, yes. and it completely sucked bc they didn’t teach anything, just had us write random shit for 3 years so eh

everything? like, any random thing or thought I’m instantly trying to weave into my writing, turn it into a prompt. every new experience is just a basis for me to write on.

oh wow ok this is a difficult one bc I don’t think I even have a wip 7 pages long //sweats let me see... aha, okay, I found one! from back in march when I asked people to send me over some numbers for one of those writing memes and @theexitgarden I believe (??) sent me the prompt “I don’t think anyone could be as lovely as you” for victuuri and I kind of got a blind!victor au from it?? wELP here’s the fragment of it:

His music is vibrant in a way that he couldn't play on his piano alone and the clap of the blades that he can hear from the speakers of his TV makes him only more certain – this boy, Yuuri Katsuki, is skating to the sound of Victor's soul as if it's his own.

Age: correct!! I am in the early twenties lol. When I was younger, I think I gave off an older vibe than what I was because Dean Winchester-coded growing up too fast and trying to project myself as being older, but nowadays I think I act my age and I’m finally okay with that. Feeling secure in my life and experiences. Or at least getting there.

Pronouns/gender: On my bio it does say she/her/dude/boo ^^ [the about that I’ve got pinned includes “bestie” and “asshole (affectionate)” lol.] I am thee female but I don’t really care too much what ya call me. I put dude there semi-jokingly because I’ve seen some people genuinely not like being called dude, which is valid!! But terms of endearment like dude/boo/etc are what I grew up using as a natural dialect almost, so I constantly have to fight not to call everyone dear/sweetie/etc because I don’t want to offend people, but I never mind being called that myself. alright, so you see, add-ons on tumblr is kind of complicated but not really, cause it completely depends on what type of blog you are. if you’re general a fan-related blog? add-ons depend on post type, blogger, and attitude, i guess the easiest way to explain this would be:

if the blogger a mutual that you’ve talked to over five times / you have a good relationship with them / you know their post is meant to be a joke / you have an addition that can make their post better or funnier for everyone: go for it! make a joke, add a gif, drag them if you know they’re okay with that, add something else that makes their headcanon better or will make everyone laugh, etc. friend posts are usually made to be added on too, that’s what blogging platforms like this are for, so go wild!

if you don’t know the blogger / if it’s their headcanon and it’s harmless / if it’s something you like but u don’t know each other / if you like the artwork / if the gifset is cute / etc. etc. etc.: tags are your friend, honestly the one thing tumblr has done right is tags, you can go on and on and on and on in tags and no one is going to give a damn, you can reblog something and all your friends can still see how you feel through the tags. i use tags all the time and i count them as a blessing cause i can never shut up

if the post is a problem / if a headcanon is harmful / if something extremely hurtful is getting a lot of positive attention and you feel you need to intervene: go ahead and add on but be ready to face backlash, there are blogs on here that are literally made to reblog posts and argue and try to bring attention to something bad that is happening and that is a good thing but if that’s not something you want to do / can handle there is always the block and report buttons.

all in all i’d say adding-on depends on the post and the person and you’ll learn as you go, but personally my view is that the best way to interact with general posts on tumblr is the tags. nobody really cares for a “this is so pretty!” added on to their gifset, as cruel as that sounds. like if you compliment in the tags it’s all good, and if it’s a positive add-on ppl aren’t going to be mad, it’s just kind of a minor irritation.

also for that post that got me made, i usually don’t care about people adding on because i can ignore it and i recognize that a lot of people on this site (especially in the pjo fandom) are younger than me and are just trying to have a fun time. but the condescending, irritating, “all-knowing” tone of that add-on just pissed me of so much that i had to respond. plus, that person could have easily made their own post bc like? as if their response is gonna make me change my mind? lmao
