just saw this and i’m HOWLING
#for context: this is the most important film in spain at the moment and it’s pretty violent#it’s also won MANY awards not only in spain but in other festivals and yeah it’s incredibly good#it’s about a french couple that move to this small little town in galicia (here we call them aldeas and this particular one is pretty#barren). this french couple want to make it eco friendly basically and make it liveable so people start moving there etc#but there’s this family (2 brothers) who just won’t have it. and a kind of war begins between them. and at the end it’s a story about LOVE#and HATE and all that happens in between. and yeah it’s amazing#BUT THIS COMMENT LMAOOOOOO BECAUSE ITS TRUE#anyway sorry nobody cares i just wanted to say PLEASE watch As Bestas if you can!!!!#as bestas#the beasts
