Ok picture this. The team at skeeps after a sweep. Owen, tall tall Owen, sees kent at the bar, talking with some guy. She’s flipping her hair over her bare shoulders, licking her lips, throwing her head back in laughter. Owen look away in anger, and then feels shame at his anger, because it’s not like kent is his girl, she can do what she wants, and he’s ruminating over this until he feels the cold press of a drink against the back of his arm, and suddenly, there’s kent, looking cocky as ever, smirking and holding two drinks. “You will not believe,” kent says, “the conversation I just endured to get these for us. Next drink is on you” and Owen feels giddy at what she did but also like disappointed in himself for feeling so pissy about it in the first place?

Also, I ask, what are your thoughts about girl!kent going out? Does she let thom bully her into wearing her scandalous shirts she orders from Instagram, does she make Owen keep her purse/wallet in his pockets? Is she leading the pack when they walk home, or is she thrown over someone’s shoulder?

again, the desire vs the guilt really gets him here. she looks so beautiful, with her little red slip dress and her red lipstick, but she's not sitting next to him, she's all over some guy, and he's not jealous, he's not. he wants her to be his but that's so toxicly possessive, he doesn't want to be that guy. so he's not going to do anything but stare until she comes back with their drink that she swindled out of that guy and oh he's so in love.

she sits there all night, laughing with him and gently touching his arm and somewhere between beer 2 and 3, he breaks and kisses her. he doesn't realize until after she's taken him home that she kissed him back.

in the morning when they're both sober, they talk things out and yeah it totally ends with owen taking kent on a date and kissing her senseless.

in terms of kent going out, i think she tries to avoid it as much as possible because tbh, she hates guys hitting on her. but sometimes bords will force her into a cute, but scandalous outfit and they'll go have fun together. her and owen like to leave early because they both hate going out but have to for team obligations. she leans on him as they walk back to the house
