my dad just sat me down and said i just want to say that what you’re going to do to your body is a serious mistake that you’re going to regret (me getting a tattoo that ive wanted for 4 years) & im just like….. ok cool! thanks for the input im still gonna do it :)

#it’ll be the word graceless in gothic font #& then when i point out the hypocrisy of his politics being about letting people do what they want with their bodies and he just walks away #like ok im sorry that you think the immediate association with that tattoo is a bad message to have on my body #but also it is deeply meaningful & something ive wanted for ages so like. im gonna do it #there are sooo many reasons i want it like #1. mental illness 2. complicated relationship with god 3. my experience in my body 4. homage to my favorite band #it’s already set in motion daddyo im sorry im taking yesrs off your life apparently
