My hands shook as I waited for the coffee to brew. As usual, I was the first one to wake up. Florence was still sound asleep in bed while I tried not to get anxious as I thought about the interview coming out today.

It was THE interview. Florence was finally going to speak about things that fans have been noticing for a while. Like her break up with Zach or the whole DWD fiasco. Florence and I have been casually dating since May of this year and the break up happened around January so no, she didn’t cheat.

But if Florence decided to come out with our relationship now, that's exactly what people would think and right now I was trying to focus on what we have. I took two coffee mugs out of the cabinet and filled them half way with rich black coffee. Before turning around, I felt familiar hands come around my waist making me smile immediately.

"Good morning." She whispered with a smile as I turned around to face her. 

“Good morning.” I whispered back before leaning in to peck her lips. 

“Are you alright?” Flo asked, furrowing her brows. “You’re shaking a bit.” 

“Oh I’m just nervous about today.” I replied with a shrug. “You know the whole interview thing.” 

“It’ll be alright, love.” She smiled, pulling closer to her. “It’s about time people knew the truth.” 

“Yeah and I agree but they still don’t know about me..” I said with a slight frown and turned around, walking away from her to get the coffees ready as I began to feel anxious. “No one knows about us yet and that’s just.... that’s just nerve wracking.” 

“I know, love, I know.” She sighed. “I’ll tell everyone, I promise but if I say something today, everyone will think I cheated.”

“I know, I’m sorry.” I mumbled, staring down. “I shouldn’t have mentioned it.”

“No, it’s alright.” Florence shook her head. “You have every right to think that way.”

I poured the coffee and turned around before walking towards her. My arms went around her neck, pulling her to my chest as her arms went around my waist.

“I love you, more than anything in the world.” I whispered into her hair, feeling her arms tighten around me. “And I want everyone to know how happy we are.” 

“I love you too.” Florence nodded into my chest. “I wanna tell everyone about us. No shame at all.”  

I parted from the hug and pecked her lips before moving back to the coffee mugs. We spent the day inside, relaxing. Florence was practicing her lines for Dune while I was cleaning up the house. After vacuuming the bedrooms, I threw myself on the couch, next to Flo, and took a deep breath causing her to chuckle. 

“Are you alright?” She asked, closing the script as she placed it on the coffee table. 

“Yeah, just tired.” I mumbled. “And nervous to check my phone.” 

“We can check together.” Florence whispered, placing her hand on my thigh.

She leaned forward and grabbed her phone, immediately going straight to Instagram to see up to 200 notifications. Luckily, most of the comments and messages were nice about it. Many people celebrated the breakup. Others were encouraging Florence to come out as bisexual or gay since many of her fans wanted to see her with a woman. Little did they know she was already with one. 

“That’s not bad.” I chuckled. “Thank God.” 

“You see? Everything will be alright.” The blonde smiled and leaned in, pecking my lips before cupping my cheek to deepen the kiss. We all know what happened after that... 

I woke up the next morning with my arm wrapped around her waist. Her blonde hair draped over the pillow, leaving a soft coconut smell. I kissed the back of her shoulder, up to her neck before parting from her to grab my phone. Suddenly, I had like 2 thousand more followers and many many dms, too many to count. Florence had posted something about me. About us.

I have been spending these last 4 months with the most wonderful woman on Earth. She has given me nothing but joy and light during these difficult times. This is her cooking for me when we went to Italy last month!! I finally found someone that loves the kitchen as much as I do. ♥️

Tears filled my eyes as I placed my phone down before turning over to Florence again. My arms went around her body and kissed all over her shoulder and neck before moving to her cheeks. 

“I love you. I love you. I love you.” I muttered over and over after every kiss, causing her to wake up with a chuckle. “I’m so in love with you, you have no idea.” 

“I love you, I had to show you off.” She replied in her morning voice before turning to me. “I told you I was going to tell everyone.” 

I smiled and leaned in, connecting our lips together in sweet kiss. Florence turned us around, getting on top of me as her hands ran down my body.
