He fought past all those lycans just to get to Karl's place #(in canon anyway)#there is just no sensible reason for Karl to act the way he did there.#which is kinda realistic- the guy turns lycans into superweapons by way of hands on surgeries.#it would be remarkable if his person-to-person empathy and persuasion skills were intact #so he's used to thinking there's no particular consequences to trying to destroy the person he was just trying to get as his lackey #and possibly even used to there being consequences to Not Doing That (like miranda finding out he's bucking her authority)#but I don't think a single person in that town can be said to have normal thought patterns by the time of canon
