honestly i think fear and light would have been more interesting and dynamic if kids started losing their powers then instead of after the fayz
#it would at least give a concluding note to the freaks vs normals plotline#switch up the status quo#give the protagonists and antagonists a new pressing problem to grapple with#a new mystery to solve#maybe it’s little pete’s doing#maybe he’s trying to snuff out the powers he thinks gaia might use#maybe he accidentally kills some of the kids in the process#it would also increase the paranoia of the fayz in fear#who knows whose power will go next? blah blah blah#and i love the idea of it being ambiguous whether certain characters lost their powers or not#gone series#michael grant#the gone series#fayz
