yknow whilst i didnt like the ending for mystery incorporated, the show really did slap
#not as good as lie. gravity falls but man#i love shows that are bright and cartoony and a feast for the eyes but they have that overarching plot that gets super dark#just. the atmosphere??#and like..it did something NEW with these chsracters which was fantastic#bc man i lvoe whats new scooby doo but the characters are very VERY locked into their normal roles#well#daphne gets to carry lots of cool things that help out a lot which was new#but otherwise x]#just...#to explore them in more depth (even if it abit clumsily) was a lot of fun to just like?? see?? plus they actually felt like teenagers#so the teenager drama made sense tbh khjfnfkjfhfd#it wasnt perfect but it was a delight to see from a scooby doo series#it made me genuinely invested in the characters in a way the shows never...really have?? they've always been chsracters im fond of#in that sense of childhood nostaliga...something safe and steady yknow?? so to make them into more was very nice#luke rambles#scooby doo#mystery incorporated
