ok so overall diluc’s contribution specifically was a bit underwhelming but, i appreciate immensely that he was clearly making a point not to reveal too much of himself with rosaria there, choosing not to explain the windblume thing and not acknowledging her comments on his occupation and mixing abilities. not just protecting himself from a sister whos obviously suspicious of him, but also the other people in the room, kaeya and venti, as he happens to know their respective biggest secret. hes playing it safe not getting involved in the conversation with her around and not risking to hint at how much he actually cares for both of them
