(mgv) au where the house/stacy pup survives the infarction but their relationship doesn't. house all but becomes feral in the immediate aftermath out of stress so he's shamelessly running on instinct for a solid month. stacy leaves as house refuses her help to the point of hurting himself in the process on top of his lashing out on her for her role in his newfound disability.

to make matters worse, she files for custody of the pup and wins on the grounds that he would struggle navigating a newborn AND one less functioning leg. she wins, and even with the reassurance that she's open to arranging for split custody once he's better adjusted, house blocks her number, email, what have you, once she takes their son home.

stacy, however, knows this is house's attempts at self-preservation given how hard he fought her in court. so rather than try and update house on how their pup's doing, she forwards them to wilson, who just so happens to be the baby's godfather (yes he cried). he saves everything she sends him like he's preserving the library of alexandria. and knowing how betrayed house would likely feel knowing that wilson is 'consorting with the enemy', wilson is left feeling like he's one of those men with secret families, only he's not in a relationship with house or stacy in actuality.
