You know that Smpronpa debacle was so crazy for me cause the fandom I had right before smplive, also had a “famous” fic in the same vein that was beloved by the ccs. I had even been reintroduced (properly this time) to fanfiction from the ccs talking about how much fun they had reading this fic, and getting to see their game sessions mixed with mcrp characters be so dark. It was a dead by daylight au, and I remember it being fairly graphic, including the whole killing your friend’s stuff. It was recommended by every cc involved in the fic, and they had shared it between each other and even talked about the new chapters.

Then the same exact thing happened with smpronpa but suddenly from the word of evil, dark fics were boundary breaking and anyone who makes such things should be witch hunted. Man I was like how does fandom work, what is happening.
