#it was so easy with rep and even folklore to be like wow WHEW thank goodness she made it#and now she’s done with all the Evils#and can be happy forever and married and safe#and of course I want that for her so badly but it is just not how it works#her art consistently and clearly shows the evils of this age. in this album more clearly than EVER#but she isn’t a doll and she isn’t the girl in the Romcom Movie of our hearts whatever that looks like#it’s just like. is the art good or not. is it truthful or not#I loved her saying my good name is mine alone to besmirch or whatever it is#it IS her life her journey her path#even in the darkness of it all her freedom (in terms of agency) is so important#especially considering her level of Fame!#anyway my hot take for the day also kids and most teenagers shouldn’t be listening to her either#not this album anyway!
