no, i dont think im obligated to still small talk an hour into my meet up with a friend group ive been a part of for 2 years, and i dont think im overreacting or showing a lack of loyalty when im unsatisfied with such a conversation. Yall ever think about how much is passed down between children that adults may be completely oblivious to.

Which goes for positive and negative things.

Like games that an older child taught to a younger one, who then taught it to another child below them the next year. There's plenty of stuff I remember doing that no adult ever taught me.

But that also goes for the bad parts of being young like bullying.

It's why it would be so hard to stop the cycle of bullying altogether. A 5th grader treats the 4th graders like they're all babies and they need to stop doing certain things and act a certain way, and the 4th graders don't like it but they internalize it so they end up doing the same thing to class below them a year later. Or high school seniors treating freshman like absolute dogshit just for being freshman, and they hate it so much but by the time they become seniors they think they've earned the right to do the same thing to the younger kids. So it repeats indefinitely.

And it's not even necessarily something that adults can intervene in if they don't know it's happening. They can give all the bullying PSAs they want and maybe they'll catch one individual act and punish it, but you would have to convince multiple generations of students to drop this behavior in order for it to truly disappear.

Either way ive posted abt this before but the reason bunny was upset over the murder and the rest werent is bc of how detached they were from reality which results in them failing to see morality in their acts (go here to read my post on this topic) This not being the case for bunny is LITERALLY THE REASON he wasnt in the bacchanal. The bacchanal was such a fucking weird and absurd thing for them to do i feel like everyone overlooks this but its the first indicator that they were not of sound mind LMAOO. and i get the initial appeal but especially after trying so hard and for so long any relatively normal person would give up. they were literally starving themselves, not sleeping, probably dangerously close to od-ing, etc. on a very regular basis. You have to be very out of touch w the world you live in to participate in a ritual like the one they did.

Bunny wasnt not in the bacchanal by chance but for the exact same reason he was opposed to a MURDER despite not being exactly the most principled man who lived, and that reason is that he was sane and grounded. So he was by no means on the same level as the rest of the class and its not fomo or whatever that made him a better person but the fact that he was right in the head unlike his friends who were completely insane and out of touch w reality and couldnt see a murder as something inmoral. The fact that bunny could probably wouldn't have been affected by his participation in the bacchanal first and foremost because he couldn't have possibly gone through with it and secondly because its murder were talking about, not a petty crime. It doesnt take a saint to see it for what it is and bunny was an asshole but he wasnt a bad enough person to ever think of a murder as something insignificant and trivial as the rest did

It's about how Scaramouche fell in love with the reader, and with his music. Like those cliches, but the difference is that Scaramouche approaches the music club (he was passing by to go home) since he had already finished classes

You probably know that after school people who are in a club stay later at school, so Scaramouche passes by the music club, the place was quiet as he walked until he started to hear the sound of a violin, and Out of curiosity, he went to where it came from and realized it was from the music club. He approached and peeked through the half-open door and saw the reader, alone in the music club, playing classical music!

I suppose that at that moment, Scaramouche had a small crush on this scene... and he stayed for a few more seconds, well he would have stayed until the song was finished but the reader's eyes met Scaramouche's and the reader stopped playing to the half. Scaramouche, internally embarrassed, immediately reacts and runs away.

and it would be the beginning of Scaramouche not forgetting that moment and unconsciously looking for the boy he saw in that music club.

Scaramouche never liked school or schoolars. They are noisy, arrogant and dumb.

Leaving school was always the best time of the day to him, he was always the first one to pick his things up, eager to get out this place.

And now he was doing exactly that, walking through the corridors and going home. Thats when somethimg caught his attention, you.

The light sound of music was calming, he wanted to listen to more. And before he could realize it, he was already walking to the place the sound is it got louder, and then he was at the music club. He wasn't surprised.

Slowly peeking from the door, his eyes instantly getting glued on you. The way your hands moved so smoothly, and you looked so calm while doing it. He kept staring for a long time. Analyzing you slowly, as if staring at an old piece of art he just found.

Thats when the violin stopped, and you saw him. You kept holding the violin, but not playing it. It took him a while to realize he got caught.

He quickly ran away. The red was painted slightly to his face, the people where a bit shocked he took a while to leave school when he did. And this night, he didnt think on much. He thought about his homework, and you. Who are you? Do you have the same classes as him, maybe? Maybe he can meet you and know you better. Maybe he can hear you play.

Nah, he will hear you play again someday.

The next day of school was based on his midnight thoughts. Scaramouche looked everywhere around the classroom, looking for you. And to his sadness, you werent there.

Maybe he'll just wait until class its over again. And he did.

After five hours hours of anxiety and suffering, he sighs and gets up, picking up his bag. He did not walk towards the exit. He walked to the music club. This time he wont let you see him.

Walking silently but quickly to the music club, he hid behind the wall, taking a small look at you. This time you were training a new music. The way you quickly managed to adapt to the song and so perfectly play it shocked him. Every time he saw you he just got a stronger desire to meet you, to talk to you.

He could look at you for hours.. And he did. He didnt even notice you were already leaving, and you found him. He couldn't help but take a while to leave, again. You looked so pretty. He could do basically anything to you. Maybe even take care of your hands if it hurt after playing. Maybe- But what was he thinking! You found him!

He turned to leave and ran away, his cheeks that were once pale now the color of a apple.

It happened again. And again. And again. Everyday youbwould meet the same boy looking at you. Until someday he entered the music club himself and went to you, placing a hand on your shoulder.

"I want you to go out with me."

did he save himself from the monster the same way poppy did while chef died, so he had to wander the woods for ages until coming back to troll civilisation, like presumably happened in the cartoon? even if he is genuinely accepted with open arms he was still LIVING in the WOODS. he probably ate MANY poisonous berries. he probably also ate special mushrooms and had the worst trip of his life several times over. he could only wash himself in lakes/puddles, and convenient rainfall, and MAYBE if hes a quick thinker and finds a pointy stick he could make a shower out of dew on leaves like branch does in the cartoon. even if after returning to the village everything is back to normal he still HAD that experience. plus, yknow, bergens are friends now. and hes one of two trolls alive who have the experience of being in a bergens mouth. he probably has to relive that whenever hes forced to be nice to a bergen. i think its awesome hes traumatised

did he save himself, wander the woods, come back to pop troll village, only to be met with disgust at his betrayal? sure, they let him stay, but its mostly because he cant sell them out anymore. hes harmless. but that doesnt mean they like him. they hate him. they might go to his yoga classes, its his one contribution to society, but no ones friends with him anymore. dj suki only invited him out because he forgot it was prank day, and he REALLY thought they were hitting it off! i mean, POPPY only even acknowledges his existence when hes annoying branch and cries to poppy like shes a preschool teacher. POPPY! the happiest troll of all, and they used to be so inseparable, and even if they werent "official" poppy at LEAST had a crush on him and he KNEW ABOUT IT! but now its nothing! he has no one. he was willing to kill everyone he ever knew and loved, and as a result, he is dead to all of them.

did he and chef NOT get eaten by the monster, and were just banished from bergentown, and chef used creek to wash her dishes like in the books? he cant escape her, shes on top of everything! like, literally, she towers over him. hes a tiny little rodent and she is studying him like a labrat. maybe she doesnt even keep him in a cage, because she knows he knows theres no way hes even getting out of the RV, let alone getting back home alive! which adds insult to injury, doesnt it. he has walking room but it doesnt help him at all. he may be freeroam but shes still his captor. hes held prisoner and borderline tortured for the rest of his life

did the previous happen, BUT he somehow got away from chef? whether he escaped, or she died, or maybe she gave up and let him go but i dont think that ones likely. he would, again, have to wander the woods before returning to civilisation. he no longer has the trauma of being eaten by a monster 500x his size, but he DOES have the trauma of being tortured by a monster 20x his size, on top of being almost eaten by a monster 10x his size. hes been through a lot, and he deserves every last bit of it

did any of the others happen, except instead of being allowed back into the village (whether they actually wanted him back, or they tolerated him because hes no longer dangerous) hes still banished? they dont let him back into the village, into his old pod. maybe they give him a tent, theyre not heartless, but they send him back on his way. maybe branch gives him an old book of safe forageables, not out of the goodness of his heart but to gloat, that now CREEK is the lonely ostracised hermit and BRANCH is beloved by the community and the queen. HIS queen. good luck, buddy. from the looks of how youre faring after one month, youre gonna need it!

and theres probably OTHER options i havent even THOUGHT about! that are even WORSE. and he brought it on himself! because he valued himself more than his entire species! his massive ego, the way he fancied himself the next stage in troll evolution. i know its hard to accept your death, but if youre to the point you think you are worth more than everyone you have ever known, ever loved, you deserve what happens

okay heres my latest long ass ramble lol:

so now that you mention it, i do see the emphasis on their different social classes more clearly now. i noticed it before but never really put too much thought into it until this latest update and we see everything come to head. now all the times you wrote about their wealth classes are like glaring me in the face lol and i see how it plays such an important role in this story.

some moments like:

the first time jihye went to chaewons house to "fix" eunchaes pc. when she got there she really said she felt like her just breathing and being in the house mansion brought down its value. like no jihye 😭 why you think like that girl. but i get her though. cause if youre not used to so much wealth it can be uncomfortable and awkward to be around.

and when jihye was getting ready for her first date with chaewon. she got her car cleaned and everything cause maybe she was thinking 'my car isnt the nicest or newest but i should at least get it cleaned to be somewhat acceptable for chaewon.'

another was when they went to jihyes hometown. yes its a small town in the countryside (totally different from the big city of seoul), but when jihye explained that all their families were close because she and the other kids would play outside because only one kid had a tv, and even then that kid wasnt even there that often. on the other hand, chaewon and eunchae have a game room, while jihye and her childhood friends only had one tv that they didnt even get to use all that much like bro 😭

all were smartly placed into the story (amazing writing by you 😘) to show just how far apart jihye and chaewons social classes are and just how different their childhoods were.

then you bring in aeri and minjeong. at first, i thought them having a superiority complex with the whole school was just rich, popular kids being your typical rich and popular kids, but i was wrong.

you brought up when wonyoung mentions natty and belle, and how aeri straight up says natty and belle are beneath them. like despite being cheerleaders too, aeri still views them as below her and her friends because wealth wise, they werent in the same league as them.

again with yena. they called her crazy and weird and didnt seem to like her much or interacted with her at all (other than the fact that she dated chaewon). while yena was on the basketball team (and seemed like an important player on it too), socially in school that would give anyone some kind of popularity. yet again, aeri and them didnt socialize with her because she wasnt in their wealth class. (gonna circle back to yena in a bit)

they see themselves above everyone else because of their wealth. like another anon pointed out, the rich like to stay with the rich. and like what karina said to ning when she broke up with her (they better get back together pls they were so cute 🥺 and im totally on team ningrina with 😎 so pls) theres a social line ning and her friends (specifically her friends) drew that shouldnt be crossed. their wealth is important to them and, it seems to me with the way you wrote their characters, that they are the type of people who consider wealth a big part of who they are as a person and that it greatly defines who they are while also warping how they view and judge others (if youre not as rich as me, youre less than me).

now this leads me to chaewons friend group. like you pointed out and said it in the story itself: chaewon, ning, aeri, and minjeong are only friends because their parents do business together. they were brought together by their wealth and probably only stayed together as a group because no one else in their school comes from a family as wealthily as any of theirs. wonyoung was the exception because her family meets that standard. it wasnt genuine connection that brought them together (a stark contrast to jihye, karina, yujin, yunjin, and kazuha and eventually yena, yeji, and even wonbin). like when i think about jihyes friend group, i think of colorful lights and comfort and warmth because theyre chaotic and loud but they love and care for each other and are always having a good time. but when i think about chaewons friend group, i think of monotone colors and like an itchy sweater and walking on egg shells because it seems uncomfortable at times and one wrong slip up could end in a fight or the end of a friendship, and they dont seem to talk things out properly—when they do try, it just quickly leads to yelling and arguing and no one hears the other out. cause again, the foundation of their friend group isnt genuine connection but their families wealth and class.

and now chaewon. my girl is rich af and knows it. before jihye, she seemed to kinda follow the same line of thought has aeri and minjeong but not as intense as them. while aeri and minjeong have the vibes of 'were rich, we know it, youre not, so were going to judge you for it because youre beneath us,' chaewon seemed to have the vibe of 'im rich, i know it, and if youre not on my radar i dont really care to be involved with you.' then jihye happened (completely unplanned) and it opened up a new world for chaewon. they come from completely different backgrounds but their difference in class doesnt bother chaewon, and she seems to enjoy and like it—home made food from grandma yoo, the comfort and simplicity of jihyes car, handmade plastic bead chains to hang on your rearview mirror, and holiday parties with family and friends. in each instance, chaewon compared the experience to her regular life—home made food vs food made by renowned chefs, jihyes simple car vs fancy blacked out suvs and limos, hand made jewelry and beads vs gold watches and bracelet, holidays with family (who are actually home for the holidays) and friends vs strictly invite only business parties. she doesnt mind her and jihyes difference in class because it seems to give her things shes missing out in her own life. now, while this can be seen as a good thing for chaewon and jihye, it kinda affects their relationship negatively because she doesnt vocally tell jihye any of this. so while shes enjoying all the things jihye is having her experience, jihye is hyper aware of their differences in class and is insecure about it (everything i mentioned chaewon liking, jihye was actually insecure about and always second guessed herself before doing).

now this whole college thing. in my other ask, i talked about how chaewon probably saw jihye not telling her about her college choice as a sign of her not thinking about the future of their relationship and defended the reason for her reaction. now as of jihye, after all this talk about wealth and class and their emphasis on the story, i think jihye didnt want to tell chaewon because it was yet another glaring highlight of their different social classes. jihye knows chaewon can get into any college she wants, money is not a problem for her, and here she is choosing andong over snu because her family cant afford two tuitions (even if her and karina are on scholarships). 

lastly, circling back to yena. i like that insight from you of yena not being mad at chaewon dating someone new, but dating someone clearly outside her social class because its just another thing that ties into the wealth and class theme. now i get where her anger is coming from (i dont justify it but i get it) like maybe she and chaewon didnt work out cause shes not as well off as chaewon and her friends, and they deemed her not worthy of chaewons time (plus maybe her and chaewon just didnt mesh well and she wasnt the best gf) but now her ex is dating someone def out of her social class and who is probs lower than yena herself. so of course yena is like 'tf. why is she the exception?’ this gives her character a bit more depth and a reason behind her actions and rage, other than just being your typical bully/jealous ex character.

to conclude this long ass thought ramble lol, while there are other factors in effect in this story, the common theme in everything is wealth and social class. and you saying how you wanted to emphasis it in the story really opened my eyes to everything i just rambled on about. its crazy to see how it affects everyone in this story and youre amazing for writing this story and plot (so well thought out dude 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 and i know i always say it but you really are the best 🙂‍↕️) i really wanna see how everything will eventually play out and how wealth and social class continues to affect the characters and their development. and i know it might be a long shot, but i do hope aeri and minjeong get some kind of redemption arc or at least grow out of their wealth-tinted eyeglasses.

first off i audibly said yes multiple times while reading this each part deserves more speaking upon so ill go part by part (it wont be in order i have adhd)

regarding the part where you said chaewon enjoys jihye life its true chaewon absolutely loved how different the two lives were because she got to experience things she never had before through jihye and her family (dont worry a bonus chapter will be chaewon meeting hye’s parents) so it never occurred to her that jihye would feel some type of way thats why when jihye blows up and says chaewon would be ashamed and that they cant work cause shes poor it genuinely confuses chaewon she never even considered that being a problem

which ends up blowing up in her face because while she loves it jihye is wondering when will chaewon realize shes not good enough and that shes not deserving of chaewon jihyes biggest fear is chaewon one day waking up and resenting her because she cant afford to live chaewons lifestyle

she cant go on trips to other countries just because she cant buy chaewon that nice shirt she saw in the store window she cant buy chaewon the world if she wanted to and it scares her and even though chaewon doesnt care she also never revealed that to jihye

now chaewons friend group are definitely that monotone colored friend group and i tried my best to show that through doing direct comparisons

for instance the christmas and new years chapters

christmas u saw jihyes friend group, how lively they are while on new years the highlight to chaewons friend group day was passing out on expensive wine

i love how u pt out all it takes is one mistake for them to fight because truthfully chaewons whole friend group are emotionally stunted (except for like wonyoung but she joined so late they view her as one of them but not one of them if u get what i mean) that they do care for each other i wasnt supposed to reveal this yet cause i wanted to save it for next chapter but i can let yall in on a little secret

yena runs the tea acc (i think everyone knows that) the reason why aeri can get it deleted is cause she knows yena runs the acc and lets her run it peacefully because she thought if chaewon kept seeing yeonjun cheat she’d eventually leave him

though only yizhuo knew they were fake dating the rest of the group saw how miserable yeonjun was making chaewon (what was making her miserable was him getting caught) and aeri just wanted her to be in a happy relationship (she wants the same yizhuo but she cant get past the difference)

(to add on earlier the reason why the group dont bother to talk it out is just like chaewon said theyre stuck together as long as their parents do business together and if that partnership is lifelong yall literally stuck together no matter what)

speaking on yena while she def has some jealous ex tendencies she makes it clear that it isnt the fact chaewons dating the problem but who she dating is for example on her priv she refers to jihye as a “thing” she gets mad that jihye is publicly looking at chaewon almost as if dehumanizing jihye (just like she does when she destroys her robotics room) im someone that likes small details for stories so trust guys sometimes ur not overanalyzing i did put that in there on purpose

lastly ofc the class issues ik ive referenced them during this rant but to really discuss ur first pt the first date and first meet chapter is meant to really emphasize on everything

the way that she stands in one spot in the house in fear of dirtying the house, the way she takes time to enter the house, the dirtiness of her shoes compared to the new expensive slippers that chaewon gives her without a second thought, the awe shes in at a chandelier

and its emphasized even more in the first date

the stickers on the dashboard are meant to show that the car is the parents old one, the stickers there from the girls who now share it, the stain on the chairs in the back from both the friends and the girls themselves, the vacuum indents to show that jihye furiously cleaned it in fear of it not being clean enough for chaewon (like she felt she wasnt clean enough to be in chaewons house), the aux cord instead of the bluetooth cause its clearly an older car, even the fingerprints that are from jihyes friends (and ofc the town itself but i think yall know that)

i did these things because when i read aus especially ones where ones rich and the other is not they tend to leave the troubles out of it when in reality a gap that big will lead to problems (college, parents approval, insecurity, etc.)

at one pt for the angst chapter i had jihye saying “rich ppl will always get to dream while poor people eventually have to face reality” (which i got inspired by a quote on twt saying sumn about “i wish poor kids were able to continue dreaming” in reference to arts) which is another reason why they viewed their future differently chaewon is able to dream of a future of them together while jihye has to face a reality where she has to go to a smaller college and she has to get a job getting a bit more than minimum wage because thats the reality

ogh malley. malley malley malley my beloved. i love them so much.

malley isnt even my first agent 3 oc but theyve become such a near and dear one anyways. fun fact! I originally made them for a pearlina story i wanted to write! they were very similar to 'stinky edgy fanon' agent 3. but i couldnt really get far with that story so it got scrapped. this was id say 2017?

then octo expansion was announced! and i made palace, and decided to reuse elements of that malley for this new universe. oh also their name was apparently mallory, but id always call them malley. so i just...forgot their name was mallory and thought it was malibu... until i went through my sketchbook in late 2018 and went oh whoops!

i decided to keep some level of that edgyness to malley though, just not the same. i like edgy fanon 3 a lot because i was 15 when splat 1 came out and thats how old most people saw 3 as too. my splatoon ocs were so so edgy at the time, because i was also going through a rough time myself and i used them to vent out a lot of my problems. a lot of this teen angst stayed in some, but obviously as i grew older i learned how to better handle my emotions and understand these problems i dealt with. but i wanted to kinda nod to that with malley! so i decided that malley themself was a bit of an edgy impulsive teen. they ran away and cut off all their friends during a bad episode after graduation. theyre doing a lot better now, despite everything. teen malley was brooding and sad but adult malley is trying their best to be a ball of sunshine and they do a pretty good job. they want to make people happy and are full of so much damn love. they arent without their problems tho - malley sometimes ignores the actual issues or outright avoids them, or tries to help people when they dont want the help or only want space instead...

(though they werent 15 when they first became agent 3 - theyre about 17/18 at the time. i have to think about the timeline of things...)

the way they dress is also kinda edgy too - but not in the way most fanon 3 is. i liek to take fanon and twist it a bit if you cant tell. but malley is a punk rocker and actually makes a lot of their own clothes, tearing shirts up and sewing new things. they help a lot of locals in inkopolis do the same. theyve probably hosted a few classes on basic sewing too!

malley also really, really wants a pet. they have no idea what kind theyd want though, but maybe a lizard, since they saw how cute sara's was...

malley is also kind of an accidental flirt. i just think thats funny.

Almost a third of the way through and I'm still doing this!? And people are reading my stuff?? This is so weird, hi tumblr people! Thanks for your time!

(Guess who wrote like 100 words and then closed app before saving? Me...)

Denki had never liked school before, didnt like the teachers that didnt care, or the students that knew how to hit it where it hurt, or the classes that were too slow or too fast and never right. He had worked his butt off to get into UA, and even though he thought itd be simular to the rest of his schooling career, he had a dream to achieve and UA was how he was gonna do it.

So he was surprised when he actually started liking school, despite some of the mortal dangers, the teachers at least gave half a shit, and Denki had people to hang out with, and he was working towards his future. Sure classes werent easy, and he was pretty sure Aizawa sensei was more than done with his drawbacks, but he was passing and learning and fighting, and he wasnt giving up.

He carefully moves pen across paper, his mothers signature familiar at this point, before sitting back to look at his work. He'd forged his parents signatures a million times, probably knew them better then they did, but he could help but be impressed by his work. This, that allowed him to do the things he needed to achieve his dream, and his happiness. He wondered if they even knew he was attending UA, but couldnt bring himself to care too much.

A class camping trip wasnt something he'd used his forgery for before- hadnt ever really wanted to go on the 'fun' trips since they were rarely fun when you were picked on at best the whole time. But now he had friends (oh he hoped they were friends), and teachers that didnt put up with any BS, and the trip actually sounded fun because of it, he'd never been camping before and with this group, well he had high hopes.

"Ah! This will be so much fun! Kiri we'll make this the best first camping trip ever!" Mina is bouncing, clutching Kirishimas arm as they load the bus.

Her excitement is contagious, he and Sero cant keep the smiles from their faces, and Kiri is practically bouncing with the girl. Bakugo looks pained to be near them, but doesnt move away either, so Denki thinks he doesnt mind too much.

Aizawa and Mic Sensei, for once, seem to be on the same side of mood, Aizawa his ever tired self, and Mic Sensei seems to dread the trip. How the school got the man who hates bugs, to chaperone a camping trip, Denki will most likely never know.

"Settle down and get on the bus, or I'll cancel the trip completely."

Unlikely, but they all calm a bit and continue in a more orderly manor.

Denki leans against the window, determined to catch up on some sleep, but the road seems determined to keep him awake. He takes to simply looking out the window, the noises of his class washing over him, frowns a bit at the sight of clouds but silently assures himself its probably nothing, or heading away, this will be a nice trip and he will enjoy it. His teachers wouldnt take an electric type into a storm...

He hopes.

He must end up dosing at some point, the sun has started its decent, but its not what woke him. The class has quieted, most doing their own thing or sleeping, no one seems to have caused his disturbance though. Finally glancing out the window, Denki has no time to warn anyone, the bus swerves and he braces himself and Sero as best he can.

He supposes hes glad hes in a hero class. Getting split up in unfamilair territory with anyone else would be a mess for sure. He cant even imagine his past classes surviving the crash. As it is, he doesnt know how he got split up from his seat mates, Sero, the rest of the bakusquad, are nowhere in sight.

He doesnt remember much from the crash, doesnt know how the bus ended up in so many pieces, or how the class got split up, but he does know that Ayoyama's arm may be broken, Deku is bleeding and unconcious, and Tokoyami is panicking-in his own way- at the setting sun. Denki is banged up, but he'll live, for now his priority is getting the three with him to safety. Their bus was attacked, hes sure that wont be the end of it, they need shelter and a plan.

"Alright! Tokoyami, I can light up enough to keep Dark Shadow at bay. Ayoyama, we need to splint your arm until we can get a better look at it. We need to get us somewhere safe, with Deku out, and you hurt, we cant get caught in a fight." Hes not used to taking charge, in fact if you asked anyone else, he wasnt the kind to.

But hes not stupid, no matter what everyone thinks, and hes a hero hopeful, hes been training to handle situations like these.

Theyd found a few bags in the wreckage, his own thankfully included, they take them with as Dark Shadow helps with Midoriya, Denki lights the way and Ayoyama keeps an eye out behind them. Denki doesnt know whats out there, what cover they'll be able to find, but they need to do it fast.

A storms coming.

If Aizawa has one more trip interrupted by villians, hes going to scream. Not only is most of his class missing, lost in the woods at night, but villians are hunting them down. Its ridiculous that they cant have one trip of peace.

He eyes the coming storm as he knocks out another oponent, wondering if he could sue weathermen, and hopes his class doesnt die out there.

...

How Yamada ended up seperated from his husband he has no idea. The bus driver- or rather sadly, his body- had ended up with him and a few students, but not the man he sat beside. He can only hope there was no other casualties, as he binds a few wounds, and that the night will not condemn them.

...

Bakugo swears, being number one was not supposed to be this hard yet. One damn camping trip, to relax and bond and shit, and yet they couldnt even have that. To make matters worse hes stuck with four eyes and half and half, with only Froppy to delegate. Out of all the damn extras, why it had to be the ones he didnt tolerate he doesnt know, but when he finds those morons they better not be dead.

"Ayoyama, can you light up for a bit?" Frantic energy dances beneath his skin, harder to contain now as the dark clouds loom above them. Its no longer safe for him to be close to the others, and a forest is a terrible place to be.

"Oui, are you alright mon ami?" His stomach lights up and DS grumbles a bit but doesnt lose his hold on Deku.

"Yeah, just tired ya know?" He busies himself with looking around, and is releaved to find a larger overhang from one of the rocky hills. Its big enough for the others to hide in, and with a couple branches, could serve as a hiding spot for now. "Look over there! Set Midoriya up in there, we need to collect branches and stuff, if we make it thick enough we may be able to light a fire! Quick before it rains!"

Sero never minded rain. But more that the sound could be calming than getting caught in it. Shoji is providing cover at least, but he cant help but worry about his friends. Denki had braced him for impact on the bus, waking up with no sign of him had terrified him, even now he wonders if his friends are alive, or hurt or worse. Uraraka and Ojiro have tried to remain calm, but Sero knows they are just as worried.

With rain, night and villians on the lose, he prays to see everyone again, in one piece.

As they set the last branch up, the first flash of lightning lights up the sky, thunder follows far to soon and Denki curses.

"Alright, if you guys sleep, we gotta do it in shifts, I'm hoping Midoriya will wake up soon, but until then, keep the fire going."

"Where are you going?" Tokoyami, sitting close to the fire, eyes him worriedly, obviously noting his nervous energy.

"...Im gonna check the perimeter, I'll... be back."

"Mon ami, you'll catch cold."

Thats the least of his worries...

"I'll be fine. Just stay hidden, itll all be fine."

"Kaminari, is it the storm?" Realization has come to Tokoyamis eyes and Denki winces.

"I've dealt with worse. But I cant be around you guys right now. If anything, it'll at least keep the villians away."

Unless he passes out before the storm is over, then he will have no control over what his quirk does, and he may hurt his friends, so, he'll just have to stay awake. Funny how he cant sleep at night, but when he needs wakefulness, he has to fight for it.

Mina just wanted to know that her boys were safe. That all her friends had made it out okay, that no one had been kidnapped or... killed.

Aizawa sensei had picked a direction, and Mina knows its probably the direction the rest of the class would have chosen as well, at least she hopes they did, this will be the most likely way to find them. As they pass the other wreckages, her worry grows. The bus driver has been covered, but they all know what lies beneath the branches, and from the splotches of blood, people were injured.

"Mic Sensei has a few of your friends, theyre headed in the right direction, come on."

They all use debri as umbrellas, casting mournful looks behind them before following their teacher. The villians had found them, were defeated of course, but that doesnt mean the others were as lucky.

And until she saw faces... she wasnt losing hope.

Kirishima sees it before the others, at first he thinks its a normal strike of lightning, but as he watches, he recognizes the slight difference. Lightning meeting that of a familiar quirk.

Hes stupid for not having thought of it before. Why they never saw Denki on stormy days. His quirk was electricity, practically lightning itself, and Lightning was attracked to conduits.

Lightning was attracked to Denki.

He takes off before Mic Sensei can react, but he knows theyre following.

"Momo! We need insulating blankets, strong ones!"

She doesnt respond for a moment, but another lightning strike hurls from the sky, the boom is immediate,

"Got it!"

Bakugo is running before he conciously decides too, he should have known that idiot would keep something like this from them. And of fu**ing course their would be a damn storm on top of everything. Four eyes is yelling, but Bakugo could care less, Pikachu may be an idiot, but damnit he was one of his idiots!

Hanta stares at the sky in horror, halting his group who turn to look as well. He'd recognize the look of that quirk anywhere. Denki... was he...

Sero runs.

Storms were calming for some people, aethstetic for others, a fear even for some. Denki didnt know where he fell in those categories.

As a child, before he got his quirk, rain was puddles and scary thunder. After his quirk it was padded crates and rubber clothing, of staying away from water, and harsh training to keep himself under control. As he got older, he found beauty in the rain, how it danced with lightning to the thundering sound of ancient times. But he still feared it, what it could do with him as its connection to Earth. He's hurt enough people to know just how dangerous they... no he, can be.

No amount of control could contain a force of nature.

It was best to either find a space clear of anything and let it pass, or confine himself to a small insulated space so harm could come to no others.

He didnt have much of a choice out here. He had to control what he could, to not set anything on fire, to not hurt his friends, and to keep the villians who thought to take advantage away.

They were falling easily, lightning loved to flow, so redirecting its energy was an effort but not unmanagable. Sure it would rather go straight to his feet and thus the earth, but it didnt mind a detour through someone else. Just enough to knock them out of course, Denki knew exactly how much a body could take, with split second calculation of body mass and such, Denki knew all about how much voltage would do what. He had to know.

So one after another they fall, unable to sneak by, and unable to combat the raw power of nature and quirk combined.

His viens burned, feeling like string cheese- peeling strand after strand- he was growing both numb and fried, lichtenburg figures engraving deep into the earth and trees, and recarving familiar paths into his skin.

Most people hated getting caught unexpected in a storm- he knows these guys sure do- but at least this time, Denki can take advantage of it.

He sees familiar blobs in the distance, as the last villian falls, the lightning has become less frequent, the storm dying down as Denki has most of its energy buzzing painfully in beneath his skin.

He just wanted to rest.

Everytime im done my chinese lesson i have the same thought:

Before i started doing classes again i could read. Like 10 words that werent numbers. And i still cant read, yeah, but i can read more,

I sacrifice free time to learn it, i eat dinner halfway and finish it after the class, is it worth it? I probably wont ever be able to read as- literally everyone else in this household

But my face hurts from smiling so much, i cant open my mouth to eat my dinner without it feeling sore.

Ive changed teachers 3 times since i picked classes back up. And the one i have right now is putting in more effort than id expect.

So i should at least try as well.

dude my era depression is so bad again at the moment the only thing that would help me is literally someone finally inventing a time machine and then offer like a 30 day free trial in which i could choose to just stay or come back to today completely disillusioned which would at least end my era struggles but otherwise at this point idk what to do it doesnt help to just dress that way and decorate my house that way and listen to the music when it is srsly impossible to ever have my dream life i would have wanted to be in a band or a tour manager or a music journalist or a radio host or vj for mtv when they were still cool and if all that failed i could have at least tried to get a hot boyfriend in a rock band whose music i love and go on tour with them and just hang around the scene somehow and i know i technically could do all of that today but honestly i think doing that would make my era struggles even worse bc i would just compare it to what it was like in the 70s 80s or 90s and what ive read in countless books and articles and even fucking personal comments under youtube videos of people who lived through it (i kinda feel the only people writing about how bad those times were are the ones that are even younger than me who werent there either like as if today is that much better with politics and laws that only go backwards but most peoples accounts of their youth in that time end with i would go back and i miss it) and just still not be happy also i just cant imagine being in or around the music business now with fuckin social media and the internet (i know the internets been around at least in the 90s and was already more accessible then but obvs still not like today) like this and just not being able to forget "these arent actually my favorite bands and im just compensating" would still make me unhappy and i know it might have been very hard as a woman in the 70s and probably 80s too (even tho many women entered the work force back then and started working in fields that used to be dominated by men) and i could not have done what chris o'dell did (she was a personal assistant at the beatles apple in london in the late 60s and then became a tour manager in the states in the 70s for the stones, santana, bob dylan, elo, queen and more...) or not have been someone like debbie harry or stevie nicks or joan jett but i could´ve tried and otherwise could have at least found an escape of a boring hard working class life by going to shows of the bands i love (when they were in their prime, not them being old and some of the og lineup already gone and ticket prices worth a months rent). being around people who are into the same stuff as me because its just whats popular. i cant do that now. i wish i had at least been around and in my 20s for the late 80s and early 90s grunge and metal and hardcore scene bc that at least would have been something new and exciting and even as a woman you could find work and establish a position in the music business (like vanessa warwick, julia valet, both julie browns and karyn bryant did at mtv). i also dont know what anybody could tell me to make it better. the only thing that helps me at this point is people saying they feel the same bc it makes you feel less alone and isolated :/

same way i pick names for ocs of mine! if theyre not a one off npc or one off turned main npc then i search for a name that has a meaning relevant to who they are as a character! (swords's last name is lyon and her symbolic animal is a lion... winifreds name means reconciliation, giving her a fun ironic twist since she wants to KILL her ex husband soso bad lol) but if theyre a one off then typically i just generate the name using this american name generator and pick something i think fits the character at hand!

the only one that doesnt fit in either here is jacques who as i belief i said is named off of my old cat with the same name <3

8. What kinds of NPC (personality, class, culture, age, whatever occurs to you!) tends to be your favorite to make and/or play?

i really enjoy fucked up dudes!!!! if it werent obvious from my ocs... this was supposed to be a lighter campaign but i really love tragedy and making people have OBVIOUS issues and its fun to have stuff with those play out with the players, sometimes even being used to bounce off the players! also i like magic users. theyre fun. or people involved with the gods of this world! i think i really really enjoy making people who give off lore hints or just straight up tell you interesting stuff about the world c:

oh this is a hard one... if we mean in context of the world itself like in that world then i would have to say speciallest girl ever henrietta but also not really bc theres also vanya.... hmmmmmmm but out of context i would have to say probably daggers, swords or dr. shi, i feel like those three have a good spread of not being too like many of my other ocs! (daggers having lots of image issues and being outwardly guilt trippy and feminine, swords being impulsive and almost like a shonen character, and dr shi being very monotone and intelligent (i like my dumbasses) plus all three have big as hell prides, they think they are HOT shit)

22. Which NPC is the most difficult to roleplay? Why?

ouhhh hard one here but id probably say first of all vanya bc my russian accent skills are NOT there. but in terms of personality and roleplaying in general not just speaking as them then probably wiz or daggers! both have to have an incredible amount of balance, in daggers's case its so that she is nuanced and not an annoying caricature considering my concept for her and with wiz its just . not revealing some things too early and not revealing some things too late, plus hes the quest giver and PLUS idk why but doing his voice gives me troubles. this is all ironic bc he is like. one of my favorite npcs lmao (hes better in writing IMO)

26. Which NPC is YOUR least favorite and why?

oh interesting... this is like having to say i hate one of my children i really never dislike any characters i create i just get agonies over them tbh but if i HAD to choose one..... hmmm probably vanya and/or richter, i really enjoy them conceptually but i feel like i fumble them too much and their story, while interesting and exciting in the beginning, became a bit more extraneous as time went on ! but really its not by much that i dislike them, i really love every npc i make

29. Are there any NPCs you wish you could play as a PC one day?

wiz probably fits most closely into the type of pc i would create for a game like this! however if i would want to be more fun more creative then i would actually really like to play jacques or vanya, mostly because they also are the types of characters i would make and they are easily translateable into a pc for this specific campaign (both in stat ways and in story ways!) as for a complete wildcard i think also playing as someone closer to the religion of this campaign (swords, rhys, etc) would be very interesting ! but im sure if i were to recycle a character concept from this game i would not expect who i would choose in the future...

oh god an open ended q ummm this is really the hardest question ever . i will give you a few little tidbits abt characters not on their toyhouse and not like fully really talked abt i tink...

Vanya is based on a character from dungeon meshi and originally followed this characters plot way more closely before i changed her up! not saying who tho

hook and rex came out to each other at the exact same time (as trans).... it was really funny and they almost immediately did a fun little clothes swap :)

even though wiz has his 50 ft vision, sometimes bc of habit when hes in his house he wont use it and if he has a guest he will often times get spooked by them... he feels silly after it happens every time lol

jacques is bisexual. also has never dated anyone ever. (he feels like its weird to date anyone from the village hes from bc everyones kinda like family there...)

rhys and the griffin god priest (mr hightower) have actually met once on occasion, they found each others company very enlightening but will not meet again ever
