whilst you were celebrating/commiserating the F1 race results, I was following the train drivers along with the other passengers like ducklings on an exciting tour through the secret alleys of a deserted [redacted] train station (platform got changed last minute so we - drivers included - had to speedwalk over to the new platform, and the staff sidegates were the quickest way)

#very exciting actually I was having fun #don't think I wanna step on a train for at least a week after this though #I have however now been on five train companies' trains in a weekend: scotrail + crosscountry + great western + transport for wales +#transpennine express #TFW and transpennine are my favourites I think for the spaciousness and quantity of tea available #it was one of the shiny new transpennines though & the TFW looked like it was maybe built by the same company #just in different colours and less luggage racks #nic stuff
