#airenyah plappert#for legal reasons: this is about spiders#steve is a spider and so is ''the new tenant''#i have arachnophobia but steve was the only spider that had legal permission to stay in my flat#bc she UNDERSTOOD the rules#there was a hiding spot in the wall where she'd hide whenever i was moving around#and whenever i was away or in bed she'd come out#she lived right in the hallway between my bedroom and the kitchen#if she was out when i started moving around she'd go hide almost immediately#and if she didn't i'd just tap the floor near her with a stick and she'd get the memo and crawl in her hole#we had an unspoken deal to leave each other alone and we both respected that#(our deal: i'd let her stay and not ruin the net and she'd stay out of my sight)#steve showed up in september but i haven't seen her the last few days#and today there was a DIFFERENT spider in steve's net#it was def a different spider bc it was slightly smaller and slimmer and also did not understand the rules#i came with my stick but no matter how close or loud i got that spider did not give a single shit#unfortunately i live by myself and i can't get close spiders (esp with my hands)#so unfortunately vacuum cleaner it was#i miss steve :( steve knew what was up#steve the spider#(yes her name is steve yes she uses she/her pronouns bc i say so <3)#(she's a spider she doesn't have a concept of gendered pronouns so i can do whatever the fuck i want)
