today was the coolest day of school ever
#my favourite surgeon invited me into her OR to watch 👀#i thought that meant like. sitting in the corner watching on the screen. but no she had me right next to the table lol#it was a femoral-popliteal bypass so nothing crazy but still soooo cool ive only ever seen this kinda stuff on cadavers#tbh i had no business being in there since im on an internal med rotation rn but my preceptor was busy and said i could go teehee#i might get to watch a BKA closure tomorrow which would also be so sick
